Higher education has not been immune to this situation, the institutions of this educational level face various challenges in remote teaching: one of them, perhaps the most important, was to answer the question: How to get the student to continue their undergraduate studies remotely? In this sense, it was necessary, on the part of the students and the teachers, a preparation to go from the face-to-face to the virtual mode. This paper addresses the specific case of the analysis of the teaching-learning process of the Teaching-Learning Unit (UEA for its acronym in Spanish) of Structured Programming and Numerical Methods for Engineering at the undergraduate level, at the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana, Unidad Azcapotzalco (UAM-A) and its relation to the student’s way of thinking. Likewise, the analysis will be carried out if the way of thinking of the students of the sample influences their academic performance when studying the subject of Structured Programming and Numerical Methods for Engineering.展开更多

The so-called ＂Yellow peril theory＂ and ＂China threat theory＂ have caught on once again. Faced with such frequent trade conflicts, we fall into contemplation. Why did trade conflicts so frequently happen？ Do these conflicts merely remain at the commercial level？ Or, are there any deep-seated conflicts leading to trade conflicts？ What are the root causes of these conflicts？ How to overcome and avoid these conflicts in the future？ With these questions, this paper is designed to inquire into the root cause of trade conflicts and the constructive suggestions to settle trade conflicts from a cultural perspective.展开更多

The different views in fact reflect people＇ s differences in their philosophic views, i.e., in understanding the nature and function of philosophy, especially the essence of Marx＇s philosophic revolution. The author of this article argues that Marx＇s philosophic revolution has terminated the theoretical metaphysics while retaining the ideal of free and full development of humanity and the transcending dimension of traditional philosophies. Authentic research of fundamental philosophic issues can come into being only if it is conducted through entering and remaining at the level of philosophic argument, and the most fundamental issue in philosophic research is still one concentrating on philosophic way of thinking.展开更多
