Objective:The objective of the study is to investigate the psychological status of nursing staff both working on nonfront line and on the front line during the epidemic period of COVID‑19 and to analyze the influencin...Objective:The objective of the study is to investigate the psychological status of nursing staff both working on nonfront line and on the front line during the epidemic period of COVID‑19 and to analyze the influencing factors related to mental health state,as well as to provide targeted psychological intervening measures for nursing staff in the face of this major public health event.Methods:We used data from January 28,2019,to February 08,2020,on the number of cases who worked in the 3A‑level hospital as nonfront‑line nurses(n=29,54%)and those who worked in Wuhan infectious hospital as the front‑line supporters(n=25,46%)came from the 3A‑level hospital.The participants completed the symptom checklist 90,and the researchers recorded data on demographics,psychological status,and the influencing factors.Results:In our baseline scenario,we estimated that the total symptom index was 1.676±0.654 for nurses who worked on the front line,1.260±0.304 for those who worked as the front‑line reserve nurses,and was 1.486±0.647 for those who worked as the nonfront‑line nurses.The results of correlation analysis show that the factors related to the psychological status of nurses include age,professional title,marital status,and family support;different factors have different effects on psychological status.Conclusion:In the face of major public health emergencies,both front‑line nursing staff and nonfront‑line staff are confronted with different degrees of psychological stress,so effective psychological support should be given to improve the working efficiency and enthusiasm of nurses.展开更多

After subcutaneous inoculation in T-cell deficient BALB/c nude mice, the incidence of tumor growth and spontaneous metastasis were the highest in subline D, moderate in sublines A and E, and lowest in subline C. Tumor cells of subline C also showed similar low tumorigenicity in another T-cell deficient 615/ PB1 nude mice.However, in 615/PB1 beige nude mice with con-genitally combined immune-deficiency in both T and NK cell activity, tumor cells of the rarely metastatic subline C do produce significantly high frequency of tumor growth and spontaneous metastasis.Morphological studies (light microscope, electron microscope and immunohistochemistry) showed rich microfilaments and Vimentin positive in the cytoplasm of metastatic tumor cells. The objectives of this study were to determine the Influencing factors on the household food insecurity s...Poor nutrition can lead to reduced immunity, impaired physical and mental development and reduced productivity. The objectives of this study were to determine the Influencing factors on the household food insecurity status. This cross-sectional study conducted on 2500 households selected from Qaresoo region in the northwest of Iran. Household food security status measured by a validated short questionnaire including six questions and other required data (influencing factors) obtained alongside the validated questionnaire. Chisquare and logistic regression used for data analysis using SPSS software. Forty Percent of households suffered from low food insecurity and twenty percent had experienced very low food insecurity. Severity of household food insecurity increased with increasing distance from the city (Exp (B) = 1.05, 95% C.I = 1.03-1.07). It decreased with increasing centers that provides food (Exp (B) = 0.97, 95% C.I = 0.97-0.98) Residential infrastructure (Exp (B) = 0.99, 95% C.I = 0.98-0.99) Family size (Exp (B) = 0.92, 95% C.I = 0.87-0.98) and the presence of both parents in comparison the presence of single parent at home (Exp (B) = 0.46, 95% C.I = 0.32-0.66). Spearman correlation test also showed that mean per capita income had a significant inverse correlation with household food insecurity status. (Correlation coefficient = –0.3, P < 0.05). Socioeconomic factors were affecting the household food insecurity status. More studies seem to be essential in order to provide practical solutions to reduce the severity of food insecurity.展开更多

Objective:This study aims to investigate the influenza vaccination status of children aged 0-6 years in Changzhi City and to analyze its influencing factors.Methods:A questionnaire was distributed to 228 randomly sele...Objective:This study aims to investigate the influenza vaccination status of children aged 0-6 years in Changzhi City and to analyze its influencing factors.Methods:A questionnaire was distributed to 228 randomly selected parents of children aged 0-6 in Changzhi City to investigate the children’s influenza vaccination status.Results:(1)A total of 217 valid questionnaires were collected in this survey,with a response rate of 95.2%.(2)The results showed that the main reasons affecting children’s influenza vaccination were,in order,worrying about the safety of the influenza vaccine,believing that influenza vaccination was not necessary,and not knowing the time of the vaccination.(3)Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that compared with children aged 0-2 years old,those aged 2-4 years old(OR=0.121,95%CI=0.032-0.301)and 4-6 years old(OR=0.385,95%CI=0.228-0.530)had lower cumulative influenza vaccination rates.Compared to the group with parental awareness of flu vaccines,the moderate awareness group(OR=2.319,95%CI=1.527-3.015)and the high awareness group(OR=2.932,95%CI=1.598-4.966)exhibited higher cumulative influenza vaccination rates among children.Parents acquire knowledge about influenza and its vaccines through vaccination centers(OR=1.396,95%CI=1.049-2.050)and doctors(OR=1.763,95%CI=1.291-2.774),which serves as a facilitating factor for influenza vaccination among 0-6-year-old children in Changzhi urban area.Conclusion:The age of the child,parental knowledge of the influenza vaccine,and parental communication with the vaccination center and the physician at the visit were the main influencing factors for influenza vaccination.展开更多
