The conical surface sampling back-projection method with scattering angle correction(CSS-BP-SC) can quickly perform the back-projection process of the Compton cone and can be used to precompute the list-mode maximum likelihood expectation maximization(LM-MLEM). A dedicated parallel architecture was designed for the graphics processing unit acceleration of the back-projection and iteration stage of the CSS-BP-SC-based LM-MLEM. The imaging results of the two-point source Monte Carlo(MC) simulation demonstrate that by analyzing the full width at half maximum along the three coordinate axes, the CSS-BP-SC-based LM-MLEM can obtain imaging results comparable to those of the traditional reconstruction algorithm, that is, the simple back-projection-based LM-MLEM. The imaging results of the mouse phantom MC simulation and experiment demonstrate that the reconstruction results obtained by the proposed method sufficiently coincide with the set radioactivity distribution, and the speed increased by more than 664 times compared to the traditional reconstruction algorithm in the mouse phantom experiment. The proposed method will further advance the imaging applications of Compton cameras.展开更多

Moreover, the wavelength can describe the locally spatial characteristics of freak waves. Generally, the wavelengths of freak waves are estimated from the dispersion relations of Stokes waves. This paper concerns whether this approach enables a consistent estimate of the wavelength of freak waves. The two-(unidirectional, long-crested) and three-dimensional(multidirectional, shortcrested) freak waves are simulated experimentally through the dispersive and directional focusing of component waves, and the wavelengths obtained from the surface elevations measured by the wave gauge array are compared with the results from the linear, 3rd-order and 5th-order Stokes wave theories. The comparison results suggest that the 3rd-order theory estimates the wavelengths of freak waves with higher accuracy than the linear and 5th-order theories. Furthermore, the results allow insights into the dominant factors. It is particularly noteworthy that the accuracy is likely to depend on the wave period, and that the wavelengths of longer period freak waves are overestimated but the wavelengths are underestimated for shorter period ones. In order to decrease the deviation, a modified formulation is presented to predict the wavelengths of two-and three-dimensional freak waves more accurately than the 3rd-order dispersion relation, by regression analysis. The normalized differences between the predicted and experimental results are over 50% smaller for the modified model suggested in this study compared with the 3rd-order dispersion relation.展开更多

We propose a passive single 3D imaging method based on an ordinary imaging system.Using the point spread function of the imaging system to realize the non-coding measurement on the target, the full-focus images and depth information of the 3D target can be extracted from a single two-dimensional(2D) image through the compressed sensing algorithm. Simulation and experiments show that this approach can complete passive 3D imaging based on an ordinary imaging system without any coding operations. This method can achieve millimeter-level vertical resolution under single exposure conditions and has the potential for real-time dynamic 3D imaging. It improves the efficiency of 3D information detection, reduces the complexity of the imaging system, and may be of considerable value to the field of computer vision and other related applications.展开更多

The radial deformation function of the fexspline (FS), obtained through Finite Element (FE) analysis, is incorporated into the kinematics model. By analyzing the FS tooth enveloping process, the optimization of the overlapping conjugate tooth profle is achieved. By utilizing the hobbing process, the three-dimensional machinable tooth surface of FS can be acquired. Utilizing the coning deformation of the FS, simulations are conducted to analyze the multi-section assembly and meshing motion of the machinable tooth surface. The FE method is utilized to analyze and compare the loaded contact characteristics. Results demonstrate that the proposed design method can achieve an internal gear pair consisting of a circular spline with a spur gear tooth surface and the FS with a machinable tooth surface. With the rated torque, approximately 24% of the FS teeth are engaged in meshing, and more than 4/5 of the tooth surface in the axial direction carries the load. The contact patterns, maximum contact pressure, and transmission error of the machinable tooth surface are 227.2%, 40.67%, and 71.24% of those on the spur gear tooth surface, respectively. It clearly demonstrates exceptional transmission performance.展开更多

The proposed method will further advance the imaging applications of Compton cameras.

文摘In the Jiaoshiba block of the Fuling shale gas field, the employed reserves and recovery factor by primary well pattern are low,no obvious barrier is found in the development layer series, and layered development is difficult.Based on the understanding of the main factors controlling shale gas enrichment and high production, the theory and technology of shale gas three-dimensional development, such as fine description and modeling of shale gas reservoir, optimization of three-dimensional development strategy, highly efficient drilling with dense well pattern, precision fracturing and real-time control, are discussed.Three-dimensional development refers to the application of optimal and fast drilling and volume fracturing technologies, depending upon the sedimentary characteristics, reservoir characteristics and sweet spot distribution of shale gas,to form"artificial gas reservoir"in a multidimensional space,so as to maximize the employed reserves, recovery factor and yield rate of shale gas development. In the research on shale gas three-dimensional development, the geological+engineering sweet spot description is fundamental, the collaborative optimization of natural fractures and artificial fractures is critical, and the improvement of speed and efficiency in drilling and fracturing engineering is the guarantee.Through the implementation of three-dimensional development, the overall recovery factor in the Jiaoshiba block has increased from 12.6%to 23.3%,providing an important support for the continuous and stable production of the Fuling shale gas field.

文摘The shear failure of intact rock under thermo-mechanical(TM)coupling conditions is common, such as in enhanced geothermal mining and deep mine construction.Under the effect of a continuous engineering disturbance,shear-formed fractures are prone to secondary instability, posing a severe threat to deep engineering.Although numerous studies regarding three-dimensional(3D)morphologies of fracture surfaces have been conducted, the understanding of shear-formed fractures under TM coupling conditions is limited. In this study, direct shear tests of intact granite under various TM coupling conditions were conducted, followed by 3D laser scanning tests of shear-formed fractures.Test results demonstrated that the peak shear strength of intact granite is positively correlated with the normal stress, whereas it is negatively correlated with the temperature. The internal friction angle and cohesion of intact granite significantly decrease with an increase in the temperature. The anisotropy, roughness value, and height of the asperities on the fracture surfaces are reduced as the normal stress increases, whereas their variation trends are the opposite as the temperature increases. The macroscopic failure mode of intact granite under TM coupling conditions is dominated by mixed tensileeshear and shear failures. As the normal stress increases, intragranular fractures are developed ranging from a local to a global distribution, and the macroscopic failure mode of intact granite changes from mixed tensileeshear to shear failure.Finally,3D morphological characteristics of the asperities on the shear-formed fracture surfaces were analyzed, and a quadrangular pyramid conceptual model representing these asperities was proposed and sufficiently verified.

文摘With the wide use of three-dimensional woven spacer composites(3DWSCs),the market expects greater mechanical properties from this material.By changing the weft fastening method of the traditional I-shape pile yarns,we designed three-dimensional woven spacer fabrics(3DWSFs)and 3DWSCs with the weft V-shape to improve the compression performance of traditional 3DWSFs.The effects of weft binding structures,V-pile densities, and V-shaped angle were investigated in this paper. It is found that the compression resistance of 3DWSFs with the weft V-shape is improved compared to that with the weft I-shape,the fabric height recovery rate is as high as 95.7%,and the average elastic recovery rate is 59.39%.When the interlayer pile yarn density is the same, the weft V-shaped and weft I-shaped 3DWSCs have similar flatwise pressure and edgewise pressure performance. The compression properties of the composite improve as the density of the V-pile yarns increases. The flatwise compression load decreases as the V-shaped angle decreases. When the V-shaped angle is 28°and 42°,the latitudinal V-shaped 3DWSCs perform exceptionally well in terms of anti-compression cushioning. The V-shaped weft binding method offers a novel approach to structural design of 3DWSCs.

文摘Freak waves are commonly characterized by strong-nonlinearity, and the wave steepness, which is calculated from the wavelength, is a measure of the degree of the wave nonlinearity. The normalized differences between the predicted and experimental results are over 50% smaller for the modified model suggested in this study compared with the 3rd-order dispersion relation.

文摘We combined domestic ground-based and satellite magnetic measurements to create a regional three-dimensional surface Spline(3DSS)gradient model of the main geomagnetic field over the Chinese continent. To improve the precision of the model,we considered the data gap between the ground and satellite data.We compared and analyzed the results of the Taylor polynomial, surface Spline, and CHAOS-6(the CHAMP,?rsted and SAC-C model of Earth’s magnetic field)gradient models. Results showed that the gradients in the south-north and east-west directions of the four models were consistent. The 3DSS model was able to express not only gradients at different altitudes, but also average gradients inside the research area. The two Spline models were able to capture more information on gradient anomalies than were the fitted models.Strong local anomalies were observed in northern Xinjiang,Beijing, and the junction area between Jiangsu and Zhejiang, and the total intensity F decreased whereas the altitude increased. The gradient decreased by 21.69%in the south-north direction and increased by 11.78%in the east-west direction. In addition, the altitude gradient turned from negative to positive while the altitude increased. The Spline model and the two fitted models differed mainly in the field sources they expressed and the modeling theory.
文摘This work has a two-fold purpose. On the one hand, the theoretical formulation of a three-dimensional(3D)acoustic propagation model for shallow waters with a constant sound speed is presented, based on the boundary element method(BEM),which uses a half-space Green function instead of the more conventional free-space Green function. On the other hand,a numerical implementation is illustrated to explore the formulation in simple idealized cases, controlled by a few parameters, which provides necessary tests for the accuracy and performance of the model. The half-space Green's function, which has been previously used in scattering and diffraction, adds terms to the usual expressions of the integral operators without altering their continuity properties.Verifications against the wavenumber integration solution of the Pekeris waveguide suggest that the model allows an adequate prediction for the acoustic field.Likewise, numerical experiments in relation to the necessary mesh size for the description of the water-marine sediment interface lead to the conclusion that a transmission loss prediction with acceptable accuracy can be obtained with the use of a limited mesh around the desired evaluation region.

文摘Existing three-dimensional(3D) imaging technologies have issues such as requiring active illumination, multiple exposures, or coding modulation. It improves the efficiency of 3D information detection, reduces the complexity of the imaging system, and may be of considerable value to the field of computer vision and other related applications.

文摘Organic solid waste(OSW)contains many renewable materials. The pyrolysis and gasification of OSW can realize resource utilization, and its products can be used for methanation reaction to produce synthetic natural gas in the specific reactor. In order to understand the dynamic characteristics of the reactor,a three-dimensional numerical model has been established by the method of Computational Fluid Dynamics(CFD).Along the height of the reactor, the particle distribution in the bed becomes thinner and the mean solid volume fraction decreases from 4.18%to 0.37%.Meanwhile,the pressure fluctuation range decreased from 398.76 Pa at the entrance to a much lower value of 74.47 Pa at the exit.In this simulation, three parameters of gas inlet velocity, operating temperature and solid particle diameter are changed to explore their influences on gas-solid multiphase flow. The results show that gas velocity has a great influence on particle distribution. When the gas inlet velocity decreases from 6.51 to 1.98 m/s,the minimum height that particles can reach decreases from 169 to 100 mm.Additionally,as the operating temperature increases, the particle holdup inside the reactor changes from 0.843%to 0.700%.This indicates that the particle residence time reduces, which is not conducive to the follow-up reaction. Moreover, with the increase of particle size, the fluctuation range of the pressure at the bottom of the reactor increases, and its standard deviation increases from 55.34 to 1266.37 Pa.

文摘This study investigated the resilience of traditional concrete dams compared to 3D printed concrete dams(3DPC)when subjected to debris flow.Three types of dams, namely check dams, arch dams, and curve dams, were numerically analyzed using a three-dimensional Coupled Eulerian-Lagrangian(CEL)methodology.The research focused on critical factors such as impact force and viscous energy dissipation to compare dam performance.Additionally, the study examined the printing and service phases of 3DPC models, determining potential failure modes and analyzing printing parameters. The results demonstrated that 3DPC dams outperformed traditional concrete dams, with filament deposition orientation, perpendicular to the debris flow direction, identified as a pivotal factor.Infill percentage and pattern were also found to influence the behavior of 3DPC models.Notably, curved dams exhibited superior performance based on dam geometry. These findings have significant potential for advancing the development of resilient dam structures capable of withstanding debris flow impacts.

文摘A fracture propagation model of radial well fracturing is established based on the finite element-meshless method. The model considers the coupling effect of fracturing fluid flow and rock matrix deformation. The fracture geometries of radial well fracturing are simulated, the induction effect of radial well on the fracture is quantitatively characterized, and the influences of azimuth, horizontal principle stress difference, and reservoir matrix permeability on the fracture geometries are revealed. The radial wells can induce the fractures to extend parallel to their axes when two radial wells in the same layer are fractured. When the radial wells are symmetrically distributed along the direction of the minimum horizontal principle stress with the azimuth greater than 15,the extrusion effect reduces the fracture length of radial wells. When the radial wells are symmetrically distributed along the direction of the maximum horizontal principal stress, the extrusion increases the fracture length of the radial wells. The fracture geometries are controlled by the rectification of radial borehole, the extrusion between radial wells in the same layer, and the deflection of the maximum horizontal principal stress. When the radial wells are distributed along the minimum horizontal principal stress symmetrically, the fracture length induced by the radial well decreases with the increase of azimuth;in contrast, when the radial wells are distributed along the maximum horizontal principal stress symmetrically, the fracture length induced by the radial well first decreases and then increases with the increase of azimuth. The fracture length induced by the radial well decreases with the increase of horizontal principal stress difference. The increase of rock matrix permeability and pore pressure of the matrix around radial wells makes the inducing effect of the radial well on fractures increase.

文摘A three-dimensional conjugate tooth surface design method for Harmonic Drive with a double-circular-arc tooth profle is proposed. It clearly demonstrates exceptional transmission performance.
文摘BACKGROUND Numerous variables are linked to the success of vaginal delivery, including the subpubic arch angle(SPAA)during labor, the importance of which has not yet been fully elucidated.AIM To examine the SPAA distributional characteristics and to ascertain SPAA’s ability to predict the type and duration of labor.METHODS We determined the SPAA and analyzed the corresponding data.We also evaluated the relationship between the SPAA and the mode of delivery and the duration of labor by regression. The present study comprised a total of 301 pregnant women who had given birth at Beijing Tiantan Hospital of the Capital Medical University between January and December of 2021.RESULTS Our analysis of 301 pregnant women revealed that the SPAA measured using three-dimensional trans-perineal ultrasound had a minimum angle of 81°and a maximum angle of 122.2°.The angle in the normal vaginal delivery group was greater than that in the labor cesarean group(P=0.000).The SPAA was a highly significant positive predictor of normal vaginal delivery(P=0.000)with an area under the curve of 0.782(P=0.000;95%CI:0.717-0.848).We found the length of the second stage of labor to be positively influenced by the SPAA using linear regression analysis(P=0.045).CONCLUSION The SPAA was a highly significant positive predictor of normal vaginal delivery. The length of the second stage of labor and normal vaginal birth were predicted by SPAA.
