The hilly and mountainous terrain of this area, combined with rapid rainfall accumulation, has led to a surge in flash floods and severe geological hazards. On August 10, 2019, Typhoon Lekima made landfall in Zhejiang Province, China, and its torrential rainfall triggered extensive landslides, resulting in substantial damage and economic losses. Utilizing high-resolution satellite images, we compiled a landslide inventory of the affected area, which comprises a total of 2,774 rainfallinduced landslides over an area of 2965 km2. The majority of these landslides were small to mediumsized and exhibited elongated, clustered patterns. Some landslides displayed characteristics of high-level initiation, obstructing or partially blocking rivers, leading to the formation of debris dams. We used the inventory to analyze the distribution pattern of the landslides and their relationship with topographical, geological, and hydrological factors. The results showed that landslide abundance was closely related to elevation, slope angle, faults, and road density. The landslides were predominantly located in hilly and low mountainous areas, with elevations ranging from 150 to 300 m, slopes of 20 to 30 degrees, and a NE-SE aspect. Notably, we observed the highest Landslide Number Density(LND) and Landslide Area Percentage(LAP) in the rhyolite region. Landslides were concentrated within approximately 4 km on either side of fault zones, with their size and frequency negatively correlated with distances to faults, roads, and river systems. Furthermore, under the influence of typhoons, regions with denser vegetation cover exhibited higher landslide density, reaching maximum values in shrubland areas. In areas experiencing significantly increased concentrated rainfall, landslide density also showed a corresponding rise. In terms of spatial distribution, the rainfall-triggered landslides primarily occurred in the northeastern part of the study area, particularly in regions characterized by complex topography such as Shanzao Village in Yantan Town, Xixia Township, and Shangzhang Township. The research findings offer crucial data on the rainfallinduced landslides triggered by Typhoon Lekima, shedding light on their spatial distribution patterns. These findings provide valuable references for mitigating risks and planning reconstruction in typhoon-affected area.展开更多

Yet, the current understanding of the spatial distribution characteristics and influencing factors of landslides in this area remains unclear. Combining the results of remote sensing interpretation and field investigation, seven influencing factors, namely, elevation, slope direction, slope gradient, distance from rivers, distance from faults, engineering geologic lithology, and distance from roads, are selected for the study. The distribution characteristics of landslides in each influencing factor and the influence of the resolution of the Digital Elevation Model(DEM) on the results are statistically and analytically analyzed. Furthermore, two highrisk landslides within the study area were subjected to comprehensive analysis, integrating the findings from drilling and other field investigations in order to examine their deformation mechanisms. Based on this analysis, the following conclusions were derived:(1) 34 landslides in the study area, mainly small earth landslides, with a distribution density of 0.42/km~2, threatening 414 people and property of about 55.87 million Yuan.(2)The landslides in the study area easily occur in the <400 m elevation range;the landslides are developed in all slope directions, the gradient is mainly concentrated in the range of 10°–40°, the distribution density of the landslides is higher in the closer distance from the river and the faults(0–200 m), the landslide-prone strata are mainly the softer and weaker metamorphic rocks, and the landslides are mainly around roads.(3) The resolution of the DEM should be selected based on the specific conditions of the study area, the requirements of the investigation, and the scale of the landslide. Opting for an appropriate DEM resolution is advantageous for understanding the patterns of landslides and conducting risk assessments in the region.(4) The Zhengjiabian landslide is a traction Landslide. The landslide body is a binary structure of gravel soil and slate weathering layer, and the damage process can be divided into three stages:(1)damage to the leading edge and stress release,(2)continuous creep and cracking,(3)rainfall infiltration and damage. The predominant slope material in the Brickyard landslide comprises clay, and the landslide is triggered by a combination of the traction effect resulting from the excavation at the slope's base and the nudging effect caused by the stacking load of the brick factory. Additionally, the Brickyard landslide exhibits persistent creep deformation. The study results provide a scientific basis for disaster prevention and mitigation in the Hanwang Township area.展开更多

Based on the resident population statistics data of Henan province from 2006 to 2021, with county as the basic study unit, the paper studies the spatial morphology characteristics and its evolution patterns of resident population distribution, by using spatial analysis methods such as population distribution center, standard deviation ellipse, and spatial auto correlation analysis. The results show that: the resident population spatial distribution shows unbalanced state, the population agglomeration areas mainly distribute in the northeast part and north part, where the resident population growth rate is significantly higher than other regions, over time, this trend is gradually becoming significant. The resident population distribution has a trend of centripetal concentration, with the degree and trend of centripetal gradually strengthening. The resident population distribution has obvious directional characteristics, but the significance is not high, the weighted resident population average center is approximately located at (4.13740˚N, 113.8935˚E), and the azimuth of the distribution axis is approximately 11.19˚. The population distribution has obvious agglomeration characteristics, with the built-up areas of Zhengzhou and Luoyang as their centers, where have a significant siphon effect on the surrounding population. The southern and southwestern regions in the province form a relatively stable belt area of Low-Low agglomeration areas.展开更多

By comparing the performance of the Weibull-based Accelerated Failure Time (AFT) model, Cox Proportional Hazards model, and Survival model, we assess the effectiveness of these models in capturing survival rates across varying gender, age groups, and treatment categories. Simulated data was used to fit the models, with model identification criteria (AIC, BIC, and R2) applied for evaluation. Results indicate that the AFT model is particularly sensitive to interaction terms, showing significant effects for older age groups (50 - 60 years) and treatment interaction, while the Cox model provides a more stable fit across all age groups. The Survival model displayed variability, with its performance diminishing when interaction terms were introduced, particularly in older age groups. Overall, while the AFT model captures the complexities of interactions in the data, the Cox model’s stability suggests it may be better suited for general analyses without strong interaction effects. The findings highlight the importance of model selection in survival analysis, especially in complex disease progression scenarios like HIV/AIDS.展开更多

So far it has spread rapidly to the provinces of Shanxi, Hebei, Henan, Shanxi and Beijing since its first outbreak in Shanxi Province in 1998, and has caused extensive tree mortality. Space-time dynamics of D. valens population and spatial sampling technique based on its spatial distribution pattern were ana- lyzed using geostatistical methods in the pure P. tabuliforis forests and mixedwood stands which were at different damage levels. According to the spatial distribu- tion of D. valeas population, the specific spatial sampling technique was also studied, and then was compared with traditional sampling technique. The spatial sam- piing technique combined with sampling theory and the biological characteristics of D. valens population, which not only could calcnlate the error of the sampling, but also could discuss the optimal sampling number and the optimum size of plot according to different damage levels and different stand types. This helps to explain population expansion and colonization mechanism of D. valens, and to provide a good reference for adopting snitable control measures.展开更多

It found 11 genera and 28 species blue algae in total. Microcystis,Oscillatoria and Chroococcus were the main composition communities of blue algae in Lake Dianshan in summer. In the survey period, the average density of blue algae in Lake Dianshan was 16.48×106 cells/L which changed during 1.01×106-59.76×106 cells/L. The characteristics were:September > July > August > June. The mass propagation and aggregation of Microcystis in September caused that the water blooms phenomenon in the partial water areas was serious. In the space, the average density of blue algae in the west and southwest parts of Lake Dianshan was bigger than in the east and southeast. When the nutritive matter was sufficient, the temperature was the main factor which affected the generation and disappearance of blue algae water blooms. The wind direction was also an important factor which affected the distribution of blue algae.展开更多

[ Method] The plots with different occurrence densities of fourth-generation cotton bollworm were investigated from August to September in 2009. Six groups of sampling data were obtained, and seven indicators including aggregation index method, Iwao method and Taylor method, etc. were used to determine its spatial distribution pattern. [ Result ] Aggregation index test showed that in all plots, Moore I 〈 0, Lloyed m*/m 〈 1, Kuno Ca 〈 0, diffusion coefficient C 〈 1, diffusion index 16 〈 1, negative binomial distribution K 〈 0, indicating that mature larvae of cotton bollworm showed uniform distribution in summer corn. Iwae regression equation of fourth-genera- tion mature larvae of cotton boUworm in summer corn was m * = 0. 090 6 + 0. 766 9 m, r = 0. 986 3, indicating that the basic components of cotton bollworm distribu- ted was single individual, and mature larvae of cotton bollworm in summer corn showed uniform distribution. The optimal sampling number of fourth-generation ma- ture larvae of cotton bollworm in corn under different population densities could be calculated using formula N1 = ( 1. 090 6/m -0. 233 1 )/D2. [ Conclusion] The result provided basis for accurate evaluation of population quantities and variation law of cotton boUworm, as well as prediction and control of the pest.展开更多

文摘In recent years, the coastal region of Southeast China has witnessed a significant increase in the frequency and intensity of extreme rainfall events associated with landfalling typhoons. These findings provide valuable references for mitigating risks and planning reconstruction in typhoon-affected area.

文摘A new measurement method for the spatial distribution of neutron beam flux in boron neutron capture therapy(BNCT)is being developed based on the two-dimensional Micromegas detector. To address the issue of long processing times in traditional offline position reconstruction methods, this paper proposes a field programmable gate array based online position reconstruction method utilizing the micro-time projection chamber principle. This method encapsulates key technical aspects:a self-adaptive serial link technique built upon the dynamical adjustment of the delay chain length, fast sorting,a coordinate-matching technique based on the mapping between signal timestamps and random access memory(RAM)addresses, and a precise start point-merging technique utilizing a circular combined RAM.The performance test of the selfadaptive serial link shows that the bit error rate of the link is better than 10-12 at a confidence level of 99%,ensuring reliable data transmission. The experiment utilizing the readout electronics and Micromegas detector shows a spatial resolution of approximately 1.4 mm,surpassing the current method’s resolution level of 5 mm.The beam experiment confirms that the readout electronics system can obtain the flux spatial distribution of neutron beams online, thus validating the feasibility of the position reconstruction method. The online position reconstruction method avoids traditional methods, such as bubble sorting and traversal searching, simplifies the design of the logic firmware, and reduces the time complexity from O(n2)to O(n).This study contributes to the advancement in measuring neutron beam flux for BNCT.

文摘Ocean fronts play important roles in nutrient transport and in the shaping ecological patterns.Frontal zones in small bays are typically small in scale, have a complex structure, and they are spatially and temporally variable, but there are limited data on how biological communities respond to this variation.Hangzhou Bay,a mediumsized estuary in China,is an ideal place in which to study the response of plankton to small-scale ocean fronts, because three water masses(Qiantang River Diluted Water,Changjiang River Diluted Water, and the East China Sea current) converge here and form dynamic salinity fronts throughout the year.We investigate zooplankton communities, and temperature, salinity and chlorophyll a(Chl a) in Hangzhou Bay in June(wet perio d) and December(dry period) of 2022 and examine the dominant environmental factors that affect zooplankton community spatial variability. We then match the spatial distributions of zooplankton communities with those of salinity fronts.S alinity is the most important explanatory variable to affect zooplankton community spatial variability during both wet and dry periods,in that it contributes>60% of the variability in community structure.Furthermore, the spatial distributions of zooplankton match well with salinity fronts.During December, with weaker Qiantang River Diluted Water and a stronger secondary Changjiang River Plume, zooplankton communities occur in moderate salinity(MS,salinity range 15.6±2.2) and high salinity(HS,22.4±1.7) regions, and their ecological boundaries closely match the Qiantang River Diluted Water front. In June, different zooplankton communities occur in low salinity(LS,3.9±1.0),MS(11.7±3.6) and HS(21.3±1.9) regions.Although the LS region occurs abnormally in the central bay rather than its apex because of the anomalous influence of rising and falling tides during the sampling perio d,the ecological boundaries still match salinity interfaces.Low-salinity or brackish-water zooplankter taxa are relatively more abundant in LS or MS regions, and the biomass and abundance of zooplankton is higher in the MS region.

文摘The Hotan Prefecture of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region,China belongs to arid desert climate, with significant soil salinization issues. The study selected six rivers in Hotan Prefecture(Pishan,Qaraqash,Yurungqash,Celle,Kriya, and Niya rivers)to explore the spatial distribution of soil salinization in this area and its underlying mechanisms.Sampling was conducted along each river's watershed, from the Gobi in the upper reaches, through the anthropogenic impact area in the middle reaches,to the desert area in the lower reaches.Soil physical-chemical indicators, including total soluble salts,pH,K+,Na+,Ca2+,Mg2+,SO42-,Cl-,CO32-,HCO3-,organic matter, available nitrogen, available phosphorus, and available potassium, were tested, along with the total dissolved solids of surface water and groundwater. The results revealed that the soil water and nutrient contents in anthropogenic impact area were higher than those in Gobi and desert areas, while the pH and total soluble salts were lower than those in Gobi and desert areas. The ions in the soil of the study area were primarily Cl-,SO42-,K+,and Na+,and the ion concentration of soil salt were positively correlated with surface water and groundwater.Overall, the study area exhibited low soil water content, low clay content, infertile soil, and high soil salinization, dominated by weak to moderate chloride-sulfate types.Compared with Gobi and desert areas, the soil in anthropogenic impact area had higher soil water content, lower pH,lower soluble salts, and higher nutrients, indicating that human farming activities help mitigate salinization. These findings have practical implications for guiding the scientific prevention and control of soil salinization in the arid areas and for promoting sustainable agricultural development.

文摘Coordinated contraction of skeletal muscles relies on selective connections between the muscles and multiple classes of the spinal motoneuro ns.Howeve r,current research on the spatial location of the spinal motoneurons innervating differe nt muscles is limited. In this study,we investigated the spatial distribution and relative position of different motoneurons that control the deep muscles of the mouse hindlimbs, which were innervated by the obturator nerve, femoral nerve, inferior gluteal nerve, deep pe roneal nerve, and tibial nerve.Locations were visualized by combining a multiplex retrograde tracking technique compatible with three-dimensional imaging of solvent-cleared o rgans(3DISCO)and 3-D imaging technology based on lightsheet fluorescence microscopy(LSFM).Additionally,we propose the hypothesis that"messenger zones"exist as interlaced areas between the motoneuron pools that dominate the synergistic or antagonist muscle groups. We hypothesize that these interlaced neurons may participate in muscle coordination as messenger neurons.Analysis revealed the precise mutual positional relationships among the many motoneurons that innervate different deep muscles of the mouse. Not only do these findings update and supplement our knowledge regarding the overall spatial layout of spinal motoneurons that control mouse limb muscles, but they also provide insights into the mechanisms through which muscle activity is coordinated and the architecture of motor circuits.

文摘The particle residence time distribution(RTD)and axial dispersion coefficient are key parameters for the design and operation of a pressurized circulating fluidized bed(PCFB).In this study, the effects of pressure(0.1-0.6 MPa),fluidizing gas velocity(2-7 m·s^(-1)),and solid circulation rate(10-90 kg·m^(-2)·s^(-1))on particle RTD and axial dispersion coefficient in a PCFB are numerically investigated based on the multiphase particle-in-cell(MP-PIC)method.The details of the gas-solid flow behaviors of PCFB are revealed.Based on the gas-solid flow pattern, the particles tend to move more orderly under elevated pressures. With an increase in either fluidizing gas velocity or solid circulation rate, the mean residence time of particles decreases while the axial dispersion coefficient increases. With an increase in pressure, the core-annulus flow is strengthened, which leads to a wider shape of the particle RTD curve and a larger mean particle residence time. The back-mixing of particles increases with increasing pressure, resulting in an increase in the axial dispersion coefficient.

文摘The geological hazards of landslides in Hanwang Town, Ziyang County, Ankang City, Shaanxi Province, have emerged. The study results provide a scientific basis for disaster prevention and mitigation in the Hanwang Township area.
文摘With the ongoing development of the apple industry in the Longdong region of Gansu, this sector has emerged as a key driver for the government s initiatives aimed at increasing stable income for local residents and promoting rural revitalization. The Longdong region boasts a favorable geographical location and a suitable climatic environment, making it an ideal area for apple cultivation. This paper analyzes meteorological data from the national meteorological observatory in Longdong over the past forty years, focusing on average temperature, precipitation, sunshine duration, and relative humidity during three critical growth periods of apples. The research reveals significant differences in the distribution of meteorological conditions across these key growth stages.Notably, the average temperature is higher in the central and northern parts of the region, while lower temperatures are observed in the southwestern areas. The average daily maximum temperature tends to be higher in the northwest and lower in the central and southwestern regions.Conversely, the average daily minimum temperature demonstrates a distinct pattern, being higher in the south and lower in the north.Additionally, precipitation is more abundant in the southeast and less so in the northwest.Sunshine hours are greater in the northern and central regions, while the southwestern and northeastern areas receive fewer hours of sunlight. Finally, relative humidity is higher in the south and lower in the north.

文摘The population spatial distribution pattern and its evolving pattern play an important role in regional allocation of social resources and production factors, formulation of regional development plans, construction of a better life society, and promotion of regional economic development. The southern and southwestern regions in the province form a relatively stable belt area of Low-Low agglomeration areas.
文摘This study investigates the application of the two-parameter Weibull distribution in modeling state holding times within HIV/AIDS progression dynamics. The findings highlight the importance of model selection in survival analysis, especially in complex disease progression scenarios like HIV/AIDS.

文摘Red turpentine beetle (RTB), Dendroctongs valens LeConte, is a destructive forest invasive species in China, it mainly attacks Pings tabuliformis and P. bungeana. This helps to explain population expansion and colonization mechanism of D. valens, and to provide a good reference for adopting snitable control measures.

文摘To understand the spatial and temporal variation characteristics of blue algae in summer in Lake Dianshan, the phytoplankton in Lake Dianshan from June to September in 2009 was surveyed. The wind direction was also an important factor which affected the distribution of blue algae.

文摘[Objective] The study aims to discuss the changes of potential evapotran- spiration and its sensitivity to meteorological factors in Guizhou Province, so as to provide important references for assessment of water resources, research of agri- cultural water conservancy and climate change. [Method] Temporal and spatial dis- tribution characteristics of potential evapotranspiration in Guizhou Province from 1961 to 2010 were analyzed, and the sensitivity of potential evapotranspiration to meteo- rological factors in Guizhou Province was studied through correlation analysis. [Re- sult] On the whole, potential evapotranspiration in Guizhou Province was higher in the southwest and the west compared with the northeast and the east. In various seasons, it was the highest in summer, followed by spring and autumn, while it was the lowest in winter. In recent 40 years, annual potential evapotranspiration showed an obvious decreasing trend in most stations of Guizhou Province. The main meteo- rological factors influencing changes of potential evapotranspiration in Guizhou Province were sunshine duration, daily maximum temperature, and daily average relative humidity. [Conclusion] Daily average temperature was not the main meteoro- logical factor affecting changes of potential evapotranspiration in Guizhou Province, while sunshine duration, daily maximum temperature, and daily average relative hu- midity had important effects on potential evapotranspiration in Guizhou Province.
文摘[ Objective] The paper was to study the spatial distribution pattern of fourth-generation mature larvae of cotton bellworm in corn field. The optimal sampling number of fourth-generation ma- ture larvae of cotton bollworm in corn under different population densities could be calculated using formula N1 = ( 1. 090 6/m -0. 233 1 )/D2. [ Conclusion] The result provided basis for accurate evaluation of population quantities and variation law of cotton boUworm, as well as prediction and control of the pest.
