Structural recognition of ancient Chinese ideographic characters

Ancient Chinese characters, typically the ideographic characters on bones and bronze before Shang Dynasty(16th—11th century B.C.), are valuable culture legacy of history. However the recognition of Ancient Chinese characters has been the task of paleography experts for long. With the help of modern computer technique, everyone can expect to be able to recognize the characters and understand the ancient inscriptions. This research is aimed to help people recognize and understand those ancient Chinese characters by combining Chinese paleography theory and computer information processing technology. Based on the analysis of ancient character features, a method for structural character recognition is proposed. The important characteristics of strokes and basic components or radicals used in recognition are introduced in detail. A system was implemented based on above method to show the effectiveness of the method.

Structural characterization of calcium glycinate,magnesium glycinate and zinc glycinate

Metal glycinate chelates are formed by glycine and metal compounds through chemical reactions.Calcium glycinate,magnesium glycinate and zinc glycinate are kinds of new-type and ideal nutrient supplements,which have satisfactory physico-chemical properties and bioactivities.They are important for prophylaxis and treat metal deficiency.The structural characterization shows that the metal ion is bonded to the amino and carboxyl group to form two five-membered rings.This paper mainly studies the structure characterization of the metal chelated glycinates by their solubility,infrared spectrum,thermal analysis,mass spectrometry,polycrystal difrac-tion,the metal contents and glycine contents of calcium glycinate,magnesium glycinate and zinc glycinate.

Effects on dynamic characters of antenna structures in satellite induced by disordered parameters

A simplified dynamic model of a dish antenna in satellite is established in this article.The modelcan be easily used to analyze the dynamic behaviour of the antenna structure.In terms of the simplifiedmodel,effects on dynamic characters due to the disorder of parameters are investigated in details.Thefrequencies calculated by the simplified model accord with those computed by ANSYS.Based on the modeshapes of disordered and perfect structure,the influence law and varying trend of dynamic characters ofantenna structures in satellites produced by stiffness and mass of antenna ribs,stiffness of antenna mem-branes and angles between adjacent ribs,are obtained.The analyses in the paper indicate that the effectsby disordered parameters can not be ignored in the dynamic analysis of such structures.

STUDY FOR THE BIFURCATION TOPOLOGICAL STRUCTURE AND THE GLOBAL COMPLICATED CHARACTER OF A KIND OF NONLINEAR FINANCE SYSTEM(Ⅰ)

Based on the work discussed on the former study, this article first starts from the mathematical model of a kind of complicated financial system, and analyses all possible things that the model shows in the operation of our country's macro_financial system: balance, stable periodic, fractal, Hopf_bifurcation, the relationship between parameters and Hopf_bifurcation, and chaotic motion etc. By the changes of parameters of all economic meanings, the conditions on which the complicated behaviors occur in such a financial system, and the influence of the adjustment of the macro_economic policies and adjustment of some parameter on the whole financial system behavior have been analyzed. This study will deepen people's understanding of the lever function of all kinds of financial policies.

Denoising of Chinese calligraphy tablet images based on run-length statistics and structure characteristic of character strokes

In this paper, a novel approach is proposed for denoising of Chinese calligraphy tablet documents. The method includes two phases: First, a partial differential equations (PDE) based the total variation model and Otsu thresholding method are used to preprocess the calligraphy document image. Second, a new method based on run-length statistics and structure charac- teristics of Chinese characters is proposed to remove some random and ant-like noises. This includes the optimal threshold se- lection from histogram of run-length probability density, and improved Hough transform algorithm for line shape noise detection and removal. Examples are given in the paper to demonstrate the proposed method.

TOPOLOGICAL STRUCTURE OF THE SINGULAR POINTS OF THE THIRD ORDER PHASE LOCKED LOOP EQUATIONS WITH THE CHARACTER OF DETECTED PHASE BEING g(φ)=(1+k)sinφ/(1+kcosφ)

ELECTRONIC STRUCTURE AND BOND CHARACTER OF COMPLEXES OF RARE EARTH CHLORIDES WITH CROWN ETHERS

A series of lanthanide complexes LnCl_3·L(Ln=La,Pr,Nd;L=15-C-5 or 18-C-6)have been synthesized and their molecular configuration,electronic structure and bond character have been studied by XPS and quantum chemical calculation.The calculated results are in good agreement with that obtained in the experiments.Three Cl atoms are on the same side of Ln in LnCl_3·15-C-5 and the crown ring on the other side.forming a complex molecule with coordination number 8.LnCl_3·15-C-5 is easily hygroscopic in air because of its unsaturated coordination,which differs sharply from the stable Ln(NO_3)_3·15-C-5 com- plex of coordination number 11.The HOMO and neighboring occupied MOs are composed of Cl 3p and O2p, and the LUMO and neighboring unoccupied MOs are composed of Ln orbitals.The level structure easily pro- duces Ln3d satellite in XPS caused by L→Ln charge transfer transition.Due to the coordination,the absolute values of the charge are decreased at Ln and O atoms,but increased at Cl atoms,which is in agreement with XPS results.

The Effect of Spatial Structure Character of Heat Source on the Ray Path and the Evolution of Wave Energy of Meridional Wave Train

This paper studies correlations between the spatial structure character of thermal forcing and deformation and the amplitude of rays of meridional wave train. It is shown that if thermal forcing appears a meridional linear variation the rays of quasi-stationary planetary wave may propagate along oblique lines and if the meridional variability of heat source has second order term the rays show distinct deformation as a great circular route. Additionally, the inhomogeneous distribution may cause lower frequency oscillations in mid- and low-latitudes. The combination of zonal and meridional wave numbers and distributive character of heat source may form an inverse mechanism of variational trend of generized wave energy, reflecting in some degree the physical process of transition between meridional and zonal flow patterns.

Use of Four-character Structures in Literary E-C Translation

This paper,beginning with the two types of four-character structures,illustrates the advantages of four-character structures.The key point lies in the usage of four-character structures in literary E-C translation and examples are employed to explain the point.At last,this paper puts out the points for attention in using four-character structures in literary E-C translation.

A Comparative Study of the Chinese Characters in the Graded List and the EBCL List

This study scrutinises the Chinese characters in two reference works compiled as part of two projects:the Graded list and the EBCL list.Situated in the character-based theory,the characters compiled in both are examined in depth from the perspectives of character complexity,character structure,semantic and phonetic radical transparency,frequency of character,and frequency of word formation.The results show that the two lists share similarities in terms of distribution of characters of different structures,level of semantic radical transparency,and frequencies of character and word formation.The character complexity of the Graded list is higher than that of the EBCL,while the level of phonetic radical transparency of the Graded list is lower than that of the EBCL list.With the Graded list,the high demands of character learning need to be borne in mind;this is due to the visual load of character complexity and the pronunciation information provided in phonetic radicals.Against a backdrop of increasing demand for CFL pedagogical materials,the differences and similarities between the two lists analysed and discussed in this study contribute to their pedagogical applications in teaching and learning Chinese characters.

Translation of Four-Chinese-Character Structures——With the Report at the 19^(th) National Congress of the Communist Party of China as Case Study

Chinese is featured with four-Chinese-character structures.These forms are typical in pattern,sound and meaning delivery.The thesis,therefore,with classifications of the four-Chinese-character structures in the latest 19^(th)National Congress of the Communist Party of China,attempts to analyze translation methods such as literal translation and liberal translation as well as translation techniques such as combination,shift,addition and omission.It is concluded that dominant methods or techniques are adopted in translating corresponding types of four-Chinese-character structures.In this sense,not only guidance for translation practice in political regard is offered but also a further understanding of translation methods and techniques can be gained.

The Comparative Study of Two Translated Texts on Huangdirent Translating Styles o'n s Internal Classics——Simple Analysis on the Diffe Culture-Specific Lexicon, Figure of Speech and Four-Chinese-Character Structures

Huangdi's Internal Classics(Neijin) is one of the most important ancient medical classics, which plays far-reaching influence in medical field. More and more domestic and overseas scholars published their translated texts on Neijing. Due to the diversity of editions and different understanding, the translating styles and contents are widely different. This study will focus on the different translating styles on culture-specific lexicon、figure of speech and four-Chinese-character structures in Neijin.

问题导向的“钢结构设计原理”课堂理论教学改革

“钢结构设计原理”是道路桥路与渡河工程专业的核心专业课程,扎实提升课堂理论教学效率和效果是该课程教学改革的重要任务和目标。细致分析“钢结构设计原理”的课程内容特点以及由此导致学生学习过程中存在的问题,有针对性地提出从多层次网格模块化教学内容、建立“思维主线”、引入真实工程案例、坚持精确理论推导与定性分析相结合、开展课程横向比较等方面开展课堂理论教学改革,进而从根本上提升课堂理论教学的效率与效果。

汉字识别中图特征提取方法

为解决图像像素表示汉字特征方法不能有效表示汉字本质特征、空间复杂度较高的问题,提出了一种汉字图特征提取方法。方法主要包含汉字图像二值化,汉字图像骨架提取,汉字图特征提取3个部分;二值化消除图像中的噪声,提高图特征提取的准确度;骨架提取保留图像中重要的像素点,剔除无关的像素点;图特征提取将汉字关键点与图数据结构结合来表示汉字形状特征。在3 908个常用汉字的5种字体上进行实验。结果表明,该方法能够正确提取笔画复杂汉字的图特征,有效表示汉字本质特征;不同字体汉字图特征相同的汉字数量最高为3 195个,方法表现较稳定;平均每个汉字可以用22.6个图节点、19.1个边表示,相较于用单通道图像表示汉字特征,可大幅降低空间复杂度。

“卞”字构形补议

“卞”“弁”均是晚出的字形。有学者将“卞”字的形体与战国楚文字中出现的“鞭”之古文“■”一类形体相联系,认为“卞”由这类字形的分化省简而来,也有学者认为“卞”为“弁”之俗体或省文。文章通过梳理相关字形,认为“卞”形出现于东汉前后,楚简中的“■”类字形与后世“卞”的字形并无关联,只是偶然造成的局部同形而已。而“弁”形的出现则要晚至约后赵时期,是隶书楷化的结果。隶、楷书中的“卞”与“弁”字,应均由早期隶书中的“■”形分化演变而来。

《古船》三重人格结构分析

一株海洋杆菌属新菌种XAAS-72^(T)的植物促生功能分析及ACC脱氨酶蛋白结构预测

【目的】研究海洋杆菌属新菌种XAAS-72的植物促生功能,挖掘其潜在功能基因。【方法】通过对菌株全基因组测序,分析相关功能基因组成,挖掘ACC脱氨酶合成相关的候选基因,并进行功能预测。【结果】海洋杆菌属新种Pontibacter kalidii XAAS-72菌悬液处理可显著提高盆栽小麦麦苗生长,其基因组长度为5054860 bp,含1个环形质粒,总GC含量为54.52%,注释的基因数目为4391个,编码蛋白数4261个,具有多种抗逆和促生相关基因。其与Pontibacter sp.BAB1700的ACC脱氨酶(1-aminoeyclopropane-1-earboxylate-deaminase)相似度最高为72.48%。该蛋白属于不稳定亲水性蛋白,不具备跨膜结构,且无信号肽结构。【结论】海洋杆菌属新种XAAS-72蕴藏着丰富的抗逆和植物促生相关基因。

碳纤维表面处理技术的研究进展

碳纤维具有很多优异的特性,被誉为“新材料之王”,广泛应用于很多方面。由于碳纤维表面平滑且化学反应活性不活跃,导致碳纤维复合材料力学性能较差。为了优化复合材料的界面特性和整体性能,必须对其进行表面改性。总结了碳纤维的种类、表面结构特点和性能、改性方法及其应用,为未来碳纺织品的发展提供一定的理论参考,推动碳纤维纺织品向着绿色、安全、高效的方向发展。

不同生境水曲柳种子的形态结构及抗旱性分析

为选育水曲柳耐干旱品种提供理论依据,选取不同生境水曲柳(Fraxinus mandshurica)种子为试验材料,对比分析不同生境下水曲柳种子的形态结构特征和吸水特性,采用不同质量浓度的聚乙二醇(Polyethylene glycol,PEG)溶液对水曲柳种子进行干旱胁迫,比较分析不同生境水曲柳种子在干旱环境下的萌发表现。研究结果显示,1)半干旱生境水曲柳的种子和种翅大小、千粒质量及种皮厚度等形态结构均显著大于适生生境种子;2)半干旱生境种子萌发时的吸水率显著低于适生生境种子7.75%;3)当PEG溶液质量浓度为10%时,半干旱生境水曲柳种子的发芽率、发芽指数、活力指数以及胚根长度开始显著高于适生生境种子。对发芽率进行线性回归,半干旱生境水曲柳种子的耐旱极限质量浓度是适生生境种子的1.23倍,具有更强的耐旱能力;4)干旱胁迫下,两生境水曲柳种子的过氧化氢酶、过氧化物酶、超氧化物歧化酶活性均表现出先上升后下降的趋势,且半干旱生境种子的酶活性始终高于适生生境。此研究结果表明在干旱环境造林选种时,可优先选用半干旱生境水曲柳种子作为造林种源,以提高种子萌发率和苗木成活率,为水曲柳资源扩大提供保障。
