Analysis of the Ideological and Political Concepts and Teaching Strategies for Quality Improvement in Physical Education Courses in Colleges and Universities

In today’s higher education system,the physical education program is not only for teaching sports skills and exercising physical fitness but also an important position for cultivating students’character,emotions,and values.With the in-depth development of the concept of ideological education,the ideology of college physical education courses has become an important direction of educational reform.In this paper,we will discuss the connotation of the concept of ideology and politics in college physical education courses,analyze the methods to effectively integrate the ideology and politics elements while guaranteeing the quality of teaching,and put forward the corresponding strategies to improve the quality,with a view to providing new ideas and methods for the construction of ideology and politics in college physical education courses.

Is It Competent Enough for Handling Foodservice Quality？ From the Students＇ Viewpoint of Self-perceived Competence and the Contribution of Hospitality Course

This study evaluated the self-perceived importance and competence with regard to foodservice quality of hospitality students in Taiwan. The study used a 6-dimension food quality scale to gather self-assessed data from student participants. A total of 400 questionnaires were sent out, with 355 （88.75%） returned, validated, and used in research. In the dimension of perceived importance, participants placed the highest importance on ＂food safety＂ and the lowest importance on ＂food characteristics＂. In the dimension of competence, participants placed the highest competence on ＂service quality＂, while the competence concerning ＂culinary skill＂ was lower. An importance-performance analysis （IPA） identified ＂food safety＂ as showing the greatest be improved among the six dimensions. The courses and internship experience predicted 26.4% of the variability in perceived competence of foodservice quality. Both the two variables showed a statistical significance. The culinary courses had a greater impact on food quality-related perceptions than did either hospitality professional or general management courses. Finally, this study identified that the school courses had a positive contribution to the competence of foodservice quality and with hospitality students who completed school courses having better quality perception competence than those who had not.

Experiment of Adopting the Learner Blog in CALL-based Practical English Writing Course

The learner blog is adopted in the instruction of CALL-based Practical English Writing course for A-level non-Eng lish major sophomores in our school in the spring this year.After examining how the program is implemented in detail,sugges tions are provided for future instructors in this related program.To ensure the program a good start,it is advisable for instructors to set aside a certain time to help each student to create a blog account in the beginning.Besides,it is requisite to provide stu dents with blogs titles with elaborate design and with the evaluation and further comment of the blog in the course of face-toface communication.Using of blogs in CALL-based Practical English Course is helpful in improving students'writing quality,in gearing up self-introspection for participants,in creating cooperative learning community,in fostering autonomous learning and cooperative learning,in building up communicative channels between students and instructors and among students themselves.

Teaching Reform of the Course of Introduction to Resource and Environment under "STS" Quality Education Concept

国际混合课程主题研究演进与热点可视化分析——基于WoS2001-2023 年期刊文章数据

混合课程作为一种新型课程形态,是推进高等教育高质量发展的重要抓手。厘清国际混合课程的演进与热点有助于破解教育数字化转型背景下混合课程质量发展问题。本研究以WoS核心合集数据库中2001-2023年的2590篇混合课程主题研究论文为样本,运用可视化分析软件CiteSpace 6.2.R4进行分析。研究发现:混合课程经历了缓慢发展期、持续发展期与快速深度发展期三个阶段,从关注技术到关注课程理论、设计、实施与效果,再到深度关注混合学习设计、学习策略、影响因素、技术支持、实践挑战,实现了从技术到人本需求的转变,推动了混合课程理论与实践的发展。研究热点形成了以学生感知与体验为核心、重视知识达成与技能提升的混合课程研究网络,连接了混合课程设计、实施、评价以及探究社区、技术支持与环境支持等研究。最后,基于课程立场,对我国的混合课程理论研究、实践研究、方法研究提出建议,以推动混合课程高质量发展。

Reservoir quality of fluvial sandstone reservoirs in salt-walled mini- basins： an example from the Seagull field, Central Graben, North Sea, UK

The Triassic fluvial sandstones of the Skagerrak Formation were deposited in a series of salt-walled mini-basins and act as important hydrocarbon reservoirs for several high-pressure, high-temperature（HPHT） fields in the Central Graben, North Sea. The HPHT reservoirs exhibit excellent reservoir quality considering their depth of burial and hence have been of high interest for hydrocarbon exploration. This research uses a multidisciplinary approach to assess the Skagerrak Formation fluvial reservoir quality from the Seagull field incorporating core analysis, petrography, electron microscopy, XRD analysis, fluid inclusion appraisal and burial history modelling. Halokinesis and salt withdrawal at the margin of the saltwalled mini-basin induced early disaggregation bands and fractures at shallow burial and led to increased influx of meteoric water and clay mineral infiltration from overlying sedimentation. The density of disaggregation bands correlates with the occurrence and magnitude of pore-filling authigenic clay minerals, concentrated along the margin of the saltwalled mini-basin. The fluvial channel sandstones of the Skagerrak Formation are subject to strong intra-basinal spatial reservoir quality variations despite diagenesis and low vertical effective stress having played a favourable role in arresting porosity loss.

Effect of TCM Combined with Chemotherapy on Immune Function and Quality of Life of Patients with Non-small Cell Lung Cancer inStage Ⅲ-Ⅳ

Objective: To observe and compare the effect of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) combined with chemotherapy (CT) on immune function and quality of life (QOL)of patients with non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) in stage Ⅲ-Ⅳ. Methods: One hundred cases with stage Ⅲ-Ⅳ NSCLC were randomly divided into two groups. The treated group (n=50) received CT combined with TCM, and the control group received CT alone. The percentage of T lymphocyte subset in peripheral blood and the change of natural killer (NK) cell count were observed after treatment. The QOL and tolerance of CT were also compared between the two groups after treatment. Results: In the treated group, CD3 cell count, CD4 cell count, CD4/ CDg ratio and NK cell activity were higher than those in control group, while CD8 cell count in the treated group was lower than that in the control group (P<0.05), and QOL and tolerance of CT in the treated group were also better (P<0.05). Conclusion: TCM combined with CT could raise the patients' ability in tolerating CT in stage Ⅲ-ⅣNSCLC.

Air Quality Regarding to TSP in Six Cities of Sonora,Mexico,a Criticism to the NOM-025-SSA1-1993 and a Proposed Criterion for Its Non-Compliance

In the present study, the air quality is assessed for the year 2010 regarding to the Total Suspended Particles (TSP) for six cities of Sonora, Mexico, representing the first regional study in Sonora in air quality. The assessment used performance indicators and indicators of compliance with the regulations. It is established that in all the cities the maximum limit value of daily concentration of 210 μg/m3 is exceeded, being the percentage of days above the rule of 30%, 78%, 76%, 6%, 3% and 62% for Agua Prieta, Nogales, Puerto Penasco, Hermosillo, Guaymas and Obregón respectively, classifying these days with poor air quality. According to the annualized index used, the air quality was not satisfactory for the period of study in the six cities. Nogales and Puerto Penasco presented the most adverse conditions of air quality with annual average values of TSP of 363 and 345 μg/m3 and maximum daily of 1047 and 1239 μg/m3 (498% and 590% above the norm) respectively. The requirements of coverage that establishes the Mexican Official Standard NOM-025-SSA1-1993 (SSA, 2005) are questioned for its compliance, proposing in this paper a criterion of non-compliance by prioritizing the protection of health and the precautionary principle. It is recommended to implement air quality management programs (PROAIRE) in these cities.
