There are several design equations available for calculating the torsional compliance and the maximum torsion stress of a rectangular cross-section beam, but most depend on the relative magnitude of the two dimensions of the crosssection(i.e., the thickness and the width). After reviewing the available equations, two thickness-to-width ratio Independent equations that are symmetric with respect to the two dimensions are obtained for evaluating the maximum torsion stress of rectangular cross-section beams. Based on the resulting equations, outside lamina emergent torsional joints are analyzed and some useful design Insights are obtained. These equations, together with the previous work on symmetric equations for calculating torsional compliance, provide a convenient and effective way for designing and optimizing torsional beams in compliant mechanisms. 展开更多

The paper studies the propagation of torsional surface waves in an initially stressed anisotropic poro-elastic layer over a semi-infinite heterogeneous half space with linearly varying rigidity and density due to irregularity at the interface. The irregularity is taken in the half space in the form of a rectangle. It is observed that torsional surface waves propagate in this assumed medium. In the absence of the irregularity, the velocity equation of the torsional surface wave is also obtained. For a layer over a homogeneous half space, the velocity of torsional surface waves coincides with that of the Love waves. 展开更多

The irregularity has been taken in the half-space in the form of a parabola. It is observed that torsional sur- face waves propagate in this assumed medium. In the absence of irregularity the velocity of torsional surface wave has been obtained. The distribution of shear stress on the cross-section of plastic metal solid circular shaft under pure torsion yielding,the applicability of complete plastic model assumption and the shear stress formula were researched.Based on the shear stress formula of circular shaft under pure torsion in elastic stage,the formula of torque in elastic stage and the definition of yield,it is obtained that the yielding stage of plastic metal shaft under pure torsion is only a surface phenomenon of torque-torsion angle relationship,and the distribution of shear stress is essentially different from that of tensile stress when yielding under uniaxial tension.The pure torsion platform-torsion angle and the shape of torque-torsion angle curve cannot change the distribution of shear stress on the shaft cross-section.The distribution of shear stress is still linear with the maximum shear stress τs.The complete plasticity model assumption is not in accordance with the actual situation of shaft under torsion.The experimental strength data of nine plastic metals are consistent with the calculated results of the new limiting strain energy strength theory(LSEST).The traditional yield stress formula for plastic shaft under torsion is reasonable.The shear stress formula based on the plane assumption in material mechanics is applicable for all loaded stages of torsion shaft. 展开更多

The linear and nonlinear torsional free vibration analyses of functionMly graded micro/nuno-tubes (FGMTs) are analytically investigated based on the couple stress theory. The employed non-classical continuum theory contains one material length scale parameter, which can capture the small scale effect. The FGMT model accounts for the through-radius power-law variation of a two-constituent material. Hamilton's principle is used to develop the non-classical nonlinear governing equation. To study the effect of the boundary conditions, two types of end conditions, i.e., fixed-fixed and fixed-free, are considered. The derived boundary value governing equation is of the fourthorder, and is solved by the homotopy analysis method (HAM). This method is based on the Taylor series with an embedded parameter and is capable of providing very good approximations by means of only a few terms, if the initial guess and the auxiliary linear operator are properly selected. The analytical expressions are developed for the linear and nonlinear natural frequencies, which can be conveniently used to investigate the effects of the dimensionless length scale parameter, the material gradient index, and the vibration amplitude on the natural frequencies of FGMTs. 展开更多

为了研究斜腹板箱梁在竖向偏心荷载作用下的受力性能,在合理构造各翘曲位移函数的基础上,用能量变分法建立全面反映竖向弯曲变形以及剪力滞、约束扭转、畸变等翘曲变形的控制微分方程,通过对既有文献中的模型梁进行计算分析,明确剪力滞... 为了研究斜腹板箱梁在竖向偏心荷载作用下的受力性能,在合理构造各翘曲位移函数的基础上,用能量变分法建立全面反映竖向弯曲变形以及剪力滞、约束扭转、畸变等翘曲变形的控制微分方程,通过对既有文献中的模型梁进行计算分析,明确剪力滞、约束扭转及畸变翘曲应力在竖向弯曲应力中的占比情况,并揭示各翘曲广义内力的分布规律。结果表明:按文章解析法求得的模型梁应力理论值与实测值吻合良好,从而验证文章方法的合理性;在偏载作用下箱梁的约束扭转微分方程与畸变微分方程是相互耦联的,这在已有文献中往往被忽略;在剪力滞、约束扭转及畸变翘曲应力中,畸变翘曲应力占据主导地位,剪力滞和约束扭转翘曲应力相对较小,但仍不可忽略,在控制截面上因各种翘曲变形引起的应力放大系数达到1.362;偏心集中荷载引起的各翘曲广义内力均具有快速衰减的分布规律,剪力滞和约束扭转广义内力分布范围很小,而畸变广义内力分布范围广阔。建议在桥梁设计规范相关条文及实际箱梁桥设计中,对畸变效应给予充分重视。 展开更多

In this article, a formulation for a hollow cylinder reinforced with an electroelastic layer is investigated. The hollow cylinder and its electro-elastic coating are under the Saint-Venant torsional loading. First, the solution to the problem containing a Volterra-type screw dislocation is obtained by using the Fourier transform. The problem is then reduced to a set of Cauchy singular integral equations by the distributed dislocation method. Finally, several examples are presented to show the effect of the electro-elastic coating on the reduction of the stress intensity factors at the crack tips. 展开更多

为了便于用解析法分析偏心车道荷载作用下考虑箱梁扭转和畸变翘曲应力影响的应力放大系数,基于薄壁箱梁约束扭转和畸变控制微分方程的初参数解,得到偏心车道荷载作用下简支箱梁同时考虑约束扭转和畸变翘曲内力的解析解,进一步得到相应... 为了便于用解析法分析偏心车道荷载作用下考虑箱梁扭转和畸变翘曲应力影响的应力放大系数,基于薄壁箱梁约束扭转和畸变控制微分方程的初参数解,得到偏心车道荷载作用下简支箱梁同时考虑约束扭转和畸变翘曲内力的解析解,进一步得到相应翘曲应力。结合简支薄壁箱梁数值算例,分析偏心车道荷载作用下计入扭转和畸变翘曲应力后的总应力相对于弯曲应力的应力放大系数。研究结果表明:算例薄壁箱梁跨中截面腹板与底板交点处的正应力放大系数达到1.27,水平形心轴处腹板的剪应力放大系数达到2.21;针对畸变翘曲应力的计算结果表明:跨中截面腹板与底板交点处畸变翘曲正应力约为扭转翘曲正应力的5倍;畸变翘曲剪应力在薄壁箱梁底板、腹板及悬臂板内均较大。 展开更多

目的探讨自噬在大鼠睾丸扭转所致缺血再灌注损伤(I/RI)中的作用机制。方法将40只健康雄性SD大鼠随机分为假手术组、I/RI组、I/RI+雷帕霉素(RAPA)组和I/RI+3-甲基腺嘌呤(3-MA)组,每组10只。后3组大鼠建立左侧睾丸扭转(720°,1 h)复... 目的探讨自噬在大鼠睾丸扭转所致缺血再灌注损伤(I/RI)中的作用机制。方法将40只健康雄性SD大鼠随机分为假手术组、I/RI组、I/RI+雷帕霉素(RAPA)组和I/RI+3-甲基腺嘌呤(3-MA)组,每组10只。后3组大鼠建立左侧睾丸扭转(720°,1 h)复位模型,I/RI+RAPA组和I/RI+3-MA组大鼠造模前分别给予自噬激动剂RAPA和自噬抑制剂3-MA干预。于睾丸复位12 h后取各组大鼠左侧睾丸和附睾,收集精子进行精子质量分析,采用H-E染色观察睾丸组织病理变化,采用试剂盒检测睾丸组织中超氧化物歧化酶(SOD)活性、丙二醛(MDA)含量、总抗氧化能力(T-AOC),采用TUNEL染色检测睾丸组织细胞凋亡水平,通过蛋白质印迹法检测睾丸组织中自噬相关蛋白(Beclin1、p62)和凋亡相关蛋白(Bcl2、Bax、cleaved caspase 3)表达水平。结果与假手术组比较,I/RI组大鼠精子质量下降,睾丸曲细精管排列松散,生殖细胞减少、脱落,睾丸组织SOD活性、T-AOC降低(均P<0.05),MDA含量升高(P<0.05),p62和Bcl2蛋白表达水平降低(均P<0.05),Beclin1、Bax和cleaved caspase 3蛋白表达水平升高(均P<0.05),凋亡生殖细胞明显增多。与I/RI组比较,I/RI+RAPA组大鼠精子质量提高,睾丸曲细精管排列正常,睾丸组织SOD活性、T-AOC升高(均P<0.05),MDA含量降低(P<0.05),Beclin1和Bcl2蛋白表达水平升高(均P<0.05),p62、Bax和cleaved caspase 3蛋白表达水平降低(均P<0.05),凋亡生殖细胞减少;I/RI+3-MA组大鼠精子质量下降,睾丸曲细精管排列松散,睾丸组织SOD活性、T-AOC降低(均P<0.05),MDA含量升高(P<0.05),Beclin1和Bcl2蛋白表达水平降低(均P<0.05),p62、Bax和cleaved caspase 3蛋白表达水平升高(均P<0.05),凋亡生殖细胞增多。结论激活自噬可改善I/RI大鼠精子质量和睾丸组织病理损伤,缓解氧化应激,抑制生殖细胞凋亡。 展开更多

中温回火温度对22MnB5钢扭力梁疲劳性能的影响

An improved boundary element method has been used in analyzing and calculating the problems of the torsion of a prismatic bar with elliptical cross-section. In this paper the calculated results correspond with the values of boundary element method. However, the quantity of data required by the improved boundary element method is much less than that required by boundary element method, and the calculating time will be greatly reduced. Therefore, the procedure of this paper is an economical and efficient numerical computational way for solving Poisson equation problem. 展开更多
