Goats were fed with Juncao+concentrate(control group), pel-leted total mixed ration I(particle size 6 mm, experimental group I) and II(particle size 5 mm, experimental group II), respectively. The trial lasted 45 d.[Result](1) The final weight and daily gain of experimental group II were significantly higher than those of control group( P<0.05), and the daily gain of experimental group II was also higher than that of experimental group I(P<0.05);the feed intake of experimental group II was markedly higher than that of control group(P<0.05), but was significantly lower than that of experimental group I(P<0.05). The feed/gain ratio of experimental group II was significantly lower than those of control group and experimental group I(P<0.05).(2) The feed gain cost of experimental group II was markedly lower than that of control group(P<0.05), but the gross profit was significantly higher than those of control group and experimental group I(P<0.05).(3) Compared with the control group, the serum total protein content of experimental group II increased markedly( P<0.05) while the urea nitrogen level decreased(P>0.05).[Conclusion] The pelleted total mixed ration with the particle size of 5 mm obtained better fattening ef-fect, and obviously improved the serum total protein level.展开更多
目的设计制造一种考虑假体尺寸的全膝关节置换术截骨导板(简称截骨导板),实现术中快速、精准定位、辅助截骨的目的。方法截骨导板采用德国EOS公司的FORMIGA P 110三维(3D)打印设备制造,打印材料为聚十二内酰胺(PA12)。通过CT、股骨3D重...目的设计制造一种考虑假体尺寸的全膝关节置换术截骨导板(简称截骨导板),实现术中快速、精准定位、辅助截骨的目的。方法截骨导板采用德国EOS公司的FORMIGA P 110三维(3D)打印设备制造,打印材料为聚十二内酰胺(PA12)。通过CT、股骨3D重建、假体逆向重建获得股骨远端与假体的数字模型,用计算机手术预演确定合理尺寸的假体,固定股骨远端与假体的接触面作为截骨平面,以该平面为基准逐步装配其他部件。3D打印设备模型输入格式为病理性股骨标准模板库(STL),采用选择性激光烧结(SLS)技术生产截骨导板,打印主体材料为聚十二内酰胺(PA12)。制造成品灭菌消毒后,于2019年至2021年用于3例因严重骨关节炎实施的截骨手术,其中男性2例,女性1例;患处位于左侧1例,右侧2例;年龄54~67岁,平均年龄59岁。术中医生严格按照截骨导板使用指南实施截骨手术。统计术中和术后失血量、手术时间、髋膝踝角、胫股角、美国膝关节协会评分(AKS)与美国特种外科医院(HSS)膝关节功能评分对手术结果进行评估。结果成功打印制造截骨导板,主要尺寸:固定钉钉孔到截骨平面的垂直距离10.17~12.51 mm,前髁固定钉钉孔直径3.18 mm;截骨槽宽度1.42 mm,固定钉中心点距离45.44 mm,固定钉钉孔直径3.16 mm。临床试用表明,在截骨手术中使用截骨导板定位股骨远端面,切面呈规则“8”字形状,无明显过切或少切现象,能保证截骨的准确性。未发生摆锯与截骨导板干涉或截骨导板破裂等需要中断手术的事件。术后患者膝关节功能恢复良好,随访过程中未出现假体松动、下沉、膝内外翻畸形、移位、股骨端骨折、脂肪栓塞等不良反应。结论实验研究设计制造的截骨导板能够准确定位,相较于普通截骨工具具有无需开髓、一次安装、多次定位的功能。基于3D打印技术的手术预演有利于医生术前根据患者骨形确定假体规格,提前熟悉截骨参数,预估手术难度,考虑术中可能出现的各种问题,从而制订适合患者的个体化、最优化手术方案。展开更多

A total of 110 pairs of pretreatment dental study casts (41 male and 69 female) were selected from patients treated in Department of Orthodontics of Union Hospital in Wuhan, China. A sliding dental Vernier caliper was used for the measurement of the mesiodistal tooth width. Descriptive statistical mean values, standard deviation, standard error of the mean values, coefficient of variance and the t-test were used for the statistical analysis of the data. The study found that TBI, ABI and the total sum of teeth width had no significant difference between male and female. Male group indicated that Bolton Index (BI) was mostly influenced by the width of lower right second premolar, whereas female group showed that BI was mostly influenced by the width of both the right and left maxillary lateral incisor.展开更多

METHODS: A prospective double-blind study of 50 arthroplasties was performed. Firstly, the reliability and correspondence between the size of said measurement and the actual implant utilized was determined. Secondly, the existing correlation between the intra- and interobserver determinations with the intraclass correlation coefficient was analyzed. RESULTS: An overall correspondence of 54%, improving up to 92% when the measured size admitted a difference of one size, was found. Good intra- and interobserver reliability with an intraclass correlation coefficient greater than 0.90(P < 0.001) was also discovered. CONCLUSION: Agreement between the preoperative measurement with standardized acetate templates and the prosthetic size implanted can be considered satisfactory. Methods: Retrospective comparative study including 143 consecutive cataractous eyes undergoing phacoemulsification cataract surgery with the Visalis 500 device. The 20G and 21G phaco tips were used in 46 and 97 eyes, respectively. The EPT and TPT values were evaluated. Results: Median TPT was 11.25 s and 17.50 s in the 20G and 21G groups, respectively (p = 0.0011). Median EPT values were 3.15 s and 5.00 s in the 20G and 21G groups, respectively (p = 0.0032). TPT and EPT were significantly lower in 3/3+ cataract eyes compared to 4/4+ using both tips (p < 0.001). Conclusions: The Visalis 500 allows cataract surgery with reduced TPT and EPT, even in hard cataracts. This study attempts to ...Object: Although pain relief is a primary goal of a total knee arthroplasty (TKA) and partial knee arthroplasty (PKA), a significant number of arthroplasty patients experience unexplained pain. This study attempts to determine preoperative or intraoperative factors that may predict pain after knee arthroplasty. Methods: 2585 primary TKAs and 423 PKAs were performed between 1993 and 2013. Infections, loosening, and revision arthroplasty were excluded. Knee Society scores, demographics, component sizes, pre- and postoperative alignment, treatment of the posterior cruciate ligament, range of motion, and diagnosis were analyzed. Statistical analysis utilized repeated measures ANOVA. Results: Significant predictors of increased pain after TKA were pre-operative varus alignment >5° (p = 0.0042), postoperative flexion range of motion 5° (p = 0.0006), small tibial component sizes (p = 0.0080), excision of the posterior cruciate ligament (p = 0.0259), and diagnosis as osteonecrosis (p = 0.0077). Factors not associated with pain included age, body mass index, gender, postoperative alignment and bone quality. For PKA, age was the only factor associated with pain. Conclusions: Six factors were found to be relevant to postoperative pain in TKA. For PKA, reported pain is not associated with any of the same factors, but is associated with age. Surgeons should be aware of these risk factors as we continue to understand pain after total and partial knee arthroplasty.展开更多
