So an anonymous mobile agent security mechanism with the secure authentication infrastructure based on PKI (public key infrastructure) is proposed in the paper. The multi-agent system is programmed by java language and every agent must register itself in CA (certificate authority) before working in the net and express his legit identity which is temptly produced and used only once. The CA ensures the legal of all agents' identity which take part in communicaiton or trade. And every user agent identity only is used once which makes other agents cannot decipher users' private information. The security mechanism of the multi-agent system implements anonymity, integrity, data confidentiality of mobile agent based on the MH(multiple hop) integrity protection regard to PKI limit.展开更多

The tourism mobile applications currently can be argued to be one of the most useful applications that can facilitate the movement of travelers. However, existing usability evaluation metrics are too general to be applied to a more specific application, such as mobile tourism application. Thus, the objective of the study is to propose usability evaluation metrics for tourism mobile applications. The study employs four phases: identifying problem and the objective, encompassing the techniques of developing usability measurement of metrics, selecting the usability metrics of tourism mobile application and conducting expert review and verification. The verification phase was conducted using expert review approach to measure the proposed metrics in terms of its consistency ease of use, understandable, verifiable and overall impression. The finding revealed that the proposed metrics have been well received by the experts in terms of consistency, ease to use, understandable, verifiability and overall impression. Finally, this study presented usability metrics for the tourism mobile applications that can be used by designers or usability practitioners in creating a useable mobile application for the tourists.展开更多

Smart mobile technology is capable of improving communication of biosecurity monitoring, mitigation, and eradication measures to tourists in Ireland. The scope of this research is to assess biosecurity communication from Ireland’s major ports, state agencies, and governing bodies involved in outdoor recreational activities. The aim of this paper is to assess Ireland’s biosecurity communication for any smart mobile technology in national agencies. A mixed method approach was utilised which consisted of content analysis as well as structured qualitative interviews. Analysis has revealed that no evidence of smart mobile technology for biosecurity communication is in place for tourists arriving in Ireland’s ports or in national agencies. The importance of timely communication of biosecurity measures and alerts seems to not have been recognised. The use of this technology could mitigate the risk of tourists vectoring dangerous microbes and aiding biological invasions. This paper concludes that a low emphasis on adopting smart mobile technology could be unnecessarily contributing to Ireland’s biosecurity risk. It offers an opportunity to be improved before a serious biosecurity breach occurs possibly resulting in a lost tourist season or expensive eradication programmes as has been witnessed in other destinations worldwide.展开更多

Mobile edge computing is trending nowadays for its computation efficiency and privacy.The rapid development of e-commerce show great interest in mobile edge computing due to numerous rise of small and middle-sized ent...Mobile edge computing is trending nowadays for its computation efficiency and privacy.The rapid development of e-commerce show great interest in mobile edge computing due to numerous rise of small and middle-sized enterprises(SMEs)in the internet.This paper predicts the overall sales volume of the enterprise through the classic ARIMA model,and notes that the behavior and arrival differences between the new and old customer groups will affect the accuracy of our forecasts,so we then use Pareto/NBD to explore the repeated purchases of customers at the individual level of the old customer and the SVR model to predict the arrival of new customers,thus helping the enterprise to make layered and accurate marketing of new and old customers through machine learning.In general,machine learning relies on powerful computation and storage resources,while mobile edge computing typically provides limited computation resources locally.Therefore,it is essential to combine machine learning with mobile edge computing to further promote the proliferation of data analysis among SMEs.展开更多
