With the rapid urbanization process,the space of traditional villages in China is undergoing significant changes.Studying the spatial evolution of traditional villages is significant in promoting rural spatial transfo...With the rapid urbanization process,the space of traditional villages in China is undergoing significant changes.Studying the spatial evolution of traditional villages is significant in promoting rural spatial transformation and realizing rural revitalization and sustainable rural development.Based on the traceability analysis of spatial production theory,this paper constructed an analytical framework for the spatial production evolution of traditional villages,analyzed the spatial evolution process and characteristics of traditional villages by using buffer analysis,spatial syntax,and other research methods,and revealed the characteristics of the spatial production evolution of traditional villages and the driving mechanism.The results show that:(1)The village spatial formation and development follow the village life cycle theory and usually develop from embryonic villages to diversified and integrated villages;(2)The evolution of village spatial production is characterized by the diversity of material space,the sublimation of daily life space,and the integration of social system space and generalization of emotional space;(3)The evolution of village spatial production from backward and poor village to ecologically well-off village is influenced by a combination of factors;(4)The village has formed a spatial structure of"people-land-scape-culture-industry",realized comprehensive reconstruction and spatial reproduction.The study results reflect the spatial evolution characteristics of traditional villages in mountainous areas in a more comprehensive way,which helps to promote the protection and development of traditional villages in mountainous areas and,to a certain extent,provides a reference for the development of rural revitalization.展开更多

Traditional Chinese villages,vital carriers of traditional culture,have faced significant alterations due to urbanization in recent years,urgently necessitating artificial intelligence data updates.This study integrat...Traditional Chinese villages,vital carriers of traditional culture,have faced significant alterations due to urbanization in recent years,urgently necessitating artificial intelligence data updates.This study integrates high spatial resolution remote sensing imagery with deep learning techniques,proposing a novel method for identifying rooftops of traditional Chinese village buildings using high-definition remote sensing images.Using 0.54 m spatial resolution imagery of traditional village areas as the data source,this method analyzes the geometric and spectral image characteristics of village building rooftops.It constructs a deep learning feature sample library tailored to the target types.Employing a semantically enhanced version of the improved Mask R-CNN(Mask Region-based Convolutional Neural Network)for building recognition,the study conducts experiments on localized imagery from different regions.The results demonstrated that the modified Mask R-CNN effectively identifies traditional village building rooftops,achieving an of 0.7520 and an of 0.7400.It improves the current problem of misidentification and missed detection caused by feature heterogeneity.This method offers a viable and effective approach for industrialized data monitoring of traditional villages,contributing to their sustainable development.展开更多
Post-disaster reconstruction is a topic of global concern,and traditional villages have special heritage attributes and need to face more requirements and obstacles in post-disaster reconstruction.This paper summarize...Post-disaster reconstruction is a topic of global concern,and traditional villages have special heritage attributes and need to face more requirements and obstacles in post-disaster reconstruction.This paper summarizes four concepts based on the research on post-disaster reconstruction both domestically and internationally,as well as the recovery and reconstruction of cultural heritage.Through a field survey of traditional villages in the Ms 6.8 Luding earthquake-stricken area,it is found that there are problems such as insufficient awareness of heritage value,misalignment of scientific reconstruction technology,and insufficient protection of reconstruction elements during the reconstruction process.Traditional villages face the risk of declining or even loss of heritage value.In order to effectively protect traditional villages and inherit the carrier of regional culture,four targeted reconstruction response strategies are proposed,i.e.,to"establish special planning for traditional village preservation","emphasize recovery of the authenticity of village heritage","ensure elements for village heritage recovery"and"promote the activation and utilization of village heritage",based on the problems discovered during the survey and the four concepts summarized in the research on post-disaster reconstruction of traditional villages.The research results hope to provide useful reference for ancient cultural areas affected by earthquakes on how to protect cultural heritage during the post-disaster reconstruction process.展开更多

The results showed that the traditional villages in Guangdong were distributed compactly, which was similar to that in other provinces; on the prefecture-level city scale, they were mainly distributed in Meizhou, Qingyuan, Zhanjiang, and Zhaoqing, showing a central distribution; on the regional scale, they were mainly distributed in northern Guangdong and the Pearl River Delta, indicating an unbalanced distribution; their density of spatial distribution showed a significant difference with a provincial distribution density of 0.59 per thousand km^2 and the highest distribution density of 2.14 per thousand km^2; there were four gathering areas accommodating many traditional villages, namely Meizhou-Chaoshan area, Guangfo-Dongguan area, Leizhou in Zhanjiang, and Lianzhou in Qingyuan; the spatial distribution of traditional villages, which presented a pattern of hot spot—sub-hot spot—sub-cold spot—cold spot, had a significant global spatial autocorrelation, and areas in similar sizes were tending towards gathering; traditional villages in Guangdong belonged to the Cantonese-speaking group and Hakka-speaking group with a density of 0.59 per thousand km^2 and 0.48 per thousand km^2 respectively, and Han subgroup with the highest distribution density was the minority areas of 1.31 per thousand km^2, followed by Shaozhou dialect area with a density of 1.00 per thousand km^2.展开更多

With the rapid improvement of urbanization and industrialization in countries around the world,how to effectively solve the rapid demise of traditional villages is a social dilemma faced by all countries,which is why ...With the rapid improvement of urbanization and industrialization in countries around the world,how to effectively solve the rapid demise of traditional villages is a social dilemma faced by all countries,which is why a series of relevant protection regulations have been promulgated in different historical periods.However,the formulation of relevant policies is still not scientific,universal,and long-term.In this study,we constructed an evolutionary game model of local governments and residents based on the evolutionary game theory(EGT),which is used to explore the evolutionary stability strategy(ESS)and stability conditions of stakeholders under the premise of mutual influence and restriction.Besides,the study also included the analysis about the impacts of different influence factors on the evolution tendency of the game model.At the same time,numerical simulation examples were used to verify the theoretical results and three crucial conclusions have been drawn.Firstly,the strategic evolution of stakeholders is a dynamic process of continuous adjustment and optimization,and its results and speed show consistent interdependence.Secondly,the decision-making of stakeholders mainly depends on the basic cost,and the high cost of investment is not conducive to the protection of traditional villages.Thirdly,the dynamic evolutionary mechanism composed of different influence factors will have an impact on the direction and speed of decision-making of stakeholders,which provides the basis for them to effectively restrict the decision-making of each other.This study eliminates the weaknesses of existing research approaches and provides scientific and novel ideas for the protection of traditional villages,which can contribute to the formulation and improvement of the relevant laws and regulations.展开更多

Traditional villages have high historical,cultural,scientific,artistic,social and economic value.They reflect the harmony and balance among long-term production,human life and natural environment.They are a community ...Traditional villages have high historical,cultural,scientific,artistic,social and economic value.They reflect the harmony and balance among long-term production,human life and natural environment.They are a community of tangible and intangible cultural heritages,and have received extensive attention from political circles,academic circles and the public.Through the Arc GIS10.3 geographic information system,724 traditional villages in Guizhou Province,China are visualized,and the nearest neighbor index,geographic concentration index,imbalance index,kernel density estimation and other methods are employed to analyze the spatial distribution type,distribution balance,spatial agglomeration characteristics and influencing factors.Studies have shown that the traditional villages in Guizhou Province tend to be concentrated and distributed,spatially forming high-density areas in southeastern Guizhou,second high-density areas in Anshun,moderate-density areas in Tongren,and low-density areas in Zunyi.From the city (prefecture) scale,traditional villages in Guizhou Province are relatively concentrated in Qiandongnan Prefecture,Tongren City,Anshun City and Qiannan Prefecture.From a regional perspective,the distribution of traditional villages in Guizhou Province is uneven,mainly distributed in Qiannan,Qiandong and Qianzhong.Their spatial distribution is affected by factors such as natural environment,traffic accessibility,ethnic culture,and economic development.It reveals the spatial distribution characteristics and influencing factors of traditional villages in Guizhou Province,and provides relevant realistic and theoretical foundations for the protection,inheritance and innovative development of traditional villages.In addition,the formation mechanism of traditional villages needs to be further analyzed based on information reflecting the attributes of traditional villages such as village history,village types,site selection patterns,characteristic buildings,production and life.It is also necessary to improve the traditional village database and grading evaluation system,and formulate protection and development plans,to realize the activation and utilization of traditional village resources,and promote their renewal and modernization.展开更多

文摘A total of 126 traditional villages in Guangdong were selected for research to analyze their spatial distribution pattern, spatial autocorrelation, and Han subgroup characteristics through the spatial analysis with GIS. The results showed that the traditional villages in Guangdong were distributed compactly, which was similar to that in other provinces; on the prefecture-level city scale, they were mainly distributed in Meizhou, Qingyuan, Zhanjiang, and Zhaoqing, showing a central distribution; on the regional scale, they were mainly distributed in northern Guangdong and the Pearl River Delta, indicating an unbalanced distribution; their density of spatial distribution showed a significant difference with a provincial distribution density of 0.59 per thousand km^2 and the highest distribution density of 2.14 per thousand km^2; there were four gathering areas accommodating many traditional villages, namely Meizhou-Chaoshan area, Guangfo-Dongguan area, Leizhou in Zhanjiang, and Lianzhou in Qingyuan; the spatial distribution of traditional villages, which presented a pattern of hot spot—sub-hot spot—sub-cold spot—cold spot, had a significant global spatial autocorrelation, and areas in similar sizes were tending towards gathering; traditional villages in Guangdong belonged to the Cantonese-speaking group and Hakka-speaking group with a density of 0.59 per thousand km^2 and 0.48 per thousand km^2 respectively, and Han subgroup with the highest distribution density was the minority areas of 1.31 per thousand km^2, followed by Shaozhou dialect area with a density of 1.00 per thousand km^2.

It deserves protection but currently is faced with severe destruction resulting from unsuccessful village planning or implementation. In this paper, problems existing in the planning of traditional villages are analyzed, and countermeasures for environmental protection and planning as well as proposals for implementation are put forward.

文摘As the building of a socialist countryside in China is at a critical stage,village rules and regulations,as an important means of rural governance,is also in the orderly construction and operation. However,there still exist obvious shortcomings in the contemporary rural governance,which hinders the active inheritance of the traditional villages' culture. Through the in-depth analysis of the relevant theories of rural governance and the historical culture of Ancient Zhentou Village,this study is expected to exploit the concept of the ancient village's culture in the heart of its dwellers so as to help them to better collect their existing cultural heritage.
文摘As a large province committed to developing ecological civilization,Jiangxi province is among the top provinces that boast the largest amount of traditional villages.Although maintaining a relatively intact ecological environment,Jiangxi Province is relatively backward in economy,which makes it an urgent mission for the local authorities to vigorously develop traditional village tourism.But many traditional vil ages landscapes have been destroyed in the process of development since there is no specific guidelines or regulations.This paper analyzed the development of Youshan Village-a traditional village that has made remarkable achievements in developing its tourism resources while conserving its original landscape features,concluded the methods and principles of constructing traditional village landscapes of Jiangxi province and expected to further explore the development mode for prospering tourism in the traditional villages.

文摘In this paper, a total of 723 traditional villages in Hunan were selected for research. With the aid of spatial analysis of GIS, the number equilibrium and spatial autocorrelation of the traditional villages were analyzed quantitatively, watershed distribution characteristics and ethnic distribution characteristics of the traditional villages were analyzed both qualitatively and quantitatively, and the influence factors of distribution of the traditional village were explored in terms of three aspects of agricultural production and population migration, history and culture, and economic activities.

文摘Traditional villages in the Pearl River Delta are known as "Lingnan water village".Urbanization affects the style of traditional villages in three ways.It also presents a positive side under the background of new urbanization.The living space of Xiaozhou Village has the unique characteristics of Lingnan water village.At the same time,it is obviously affected by urbanization.Industrialization and commercialization continue to promote the villagers to dismantle the old and build new ones until it becomes a village in the city.The evolution of the traditional living space is reflected in three aspects:being nibbled away or even disappeared,destroying the traditional style,function disappearance or transformation.In the later stage of urbanization,some living spaces have been repaired and updated.

文摘The development types of traditional village B&B can be divided into spontaneous style,scenic area driven style and new rural construction led style.The development of B&B in Jinlin Village has certain livable environment and resource conditions,good location,profound cultural heritage and government support.It has experienced three stages of construction,namely scenic spot development,civilized village and new countryside.The development type of B&B in Jinlin Village belongs to the dual type of scenic spot driving and new countryside construction.However,over construction has negative impact on the development of B&B.Four planning strategies are put forward,including protecting and activating the traditional houses,increasing the green space to isolate and buffer the impact of new houses on traditional dwellings,opening up new lakeside residential area,and fully protecting and utilizing peripheral farmlands.

文摘With the rapid improvement of urbanization and industrialization in countries around the world,how to effectively solve the rapid demise of traditional villages is a social dilemma faced by all countries,which is why a series of relevant protection regulations have been promulgated in different historical periods.However,the formulation of relevant policies is still not scientific,universal,and long-term.In this study,we constructed an evolutionary game model of local governments and residents based on the evolutionary game theory(EGT),which is used to explore the evolutionary stability strategy(ESS)and stability conditions of stakeholders under the premise of mutual influence and restriction.Besides,the study also included the analysis about the impacts of different influence factors on the evolution tendency of the game model.At the same time,numerical simulation examples were used to verify the theoretical results and three crucial conclusions have been drawn.Firstly,the strategic evolution of stakeholders is a dynamic process of continuous adjustment and optimization,and its results and speed show consistent interdependence.Secondly,the decision-making of stakeholders mainly depends on the basic cost,and the high cost of investment is not conducive to the protection of traditional villages.Thirdly,the dynamic evolutionary mechanism composed of different influence factors will have an impact on the direction and speed of decision-making of stakeholders,which provides the basis for them to effectively restrict the decision-making of each other.This study eliminates the weaknesses of existing research approaches and provides scientific and novel ideas for the protection of traditional villages,which can contribute to the formulation and improvement of the relevant laws and regulations.

文摘The Fukouxing Ancient Road has a long history and is one of the Taihang Eight Passages.It has played a very important social,military and economic role in the long history.It is an important cultural route and an important clue for current cultural heritage protection.In the context of linear cultural heritage protection,through the methods of document collection and field investigation,the Fukouxing Ancient Road,which has been preserved to this day,was explored and discussed,and the traditional villages preserved along the route were analyzed and researched,based on the ArcGIS geographic information system,so as to explore the spatial distribution characteristics and distribution influencing factors of traditional villages on its route.

文摘Traditional villages are an important carrier of Chinese civilization, carrying the historical memory of the Chinese nation. Tourism development has become an effective way to protect traditional villages and a special way to modernize traditional villages. In this paper, the conditions for tourism development in Shanxijie Village, Dawenkou Town, Tai’an City were analyzed, and the existing problems in its tourism development were discussed. Meanwhile, corresponding strategies for tourism development were put forward to guide Shanxijie Village to embark on a high-quality tourism development road.

文摘Traditional villages have high historical,cultural,scientific,artistic,social and economic value.They reflect the harmony and balance among long-term production,human life and natural environment.They are a community of tangible and intangible cultural heritages,and have received extensive attention from political circles,academic circles and the public.Through the Arc GIS10.3 geographic information system,724 traditional villages in Guizhou Province,China are visualized,and the nearest neighbor index,geographic concentration index,imbalance index,kernel density estimation and other methods are employed to analyze the spatial distribution type,distribution balance,spatial agglomeration characteristics and influencing factors.Studies have shown that the traditional villages in Guizhou Province tend to be concentrated and distributed,spatially forming high-density areas in southeastern Guizhou,second high-density areas in Anshun,moderate-density areas in Tongren,and low-density areas in Zunyi.From the city (prefecture) scale,traditional villages in Guizhou Province are relatively concentrated in Qiandongnan Prefecture,Tongren City,Anshun City and Qiannan Prefecture.From a regional perspective,the distribution of traditional villages in Guizhou Province is uneven,mainly distributed in Qiannan,Qiandong and Qianzhong.Their spatial distribution is affected by factors such as natural environment,traffic accessibility,ethnic culture,and economic development.It reveals the spatial distribution characteristics and influencing factors of traditional villages in Guizhou Province,and provides relevant realistic and theoretical foundations for the protection,inheritance and innovative development of traditional villages.In addition,the formation mechanism of traditional villages needs to be further analyzed based on information reflecting the attributes of traditional villages such as village history,village types,site selection patterns,characteristic buildings,production and life.It is also necessary to improve the traditional village database and grading evaluation system,and formulate protection and development plans,to realize the activation and utilization of traditional village resources,and promote their renewal and modernization.
