Training Strategies for Applied German-speaking Talents in the"One Belt One Road"Initiative

Under the"One Belt One Road”initiative,China and Germany have become closer in cooperation and have made substantial progress in the fields of economy,trade,culture,science,and technology.The close cooperation between China and Germany has raised the demands for diversified German-speaking talents.After years of development and continuous exploration,China's educational institutions with German majors have established a mature talent training model but it is not enough to meet the country's growing demands for applied talents along with the economic development.With the advancement of the national education reform,many majors in various schools are thinking of reform plans suitable for their own development.Although German as a uminor^^language major is not very widely used,it plays an active and effective role in China's trade and cultural exchanges.Hence,there is a need to comprehensively improve students9 overall quality,advocate diversified training methods,adopt German-English bilingualism and professional German teaching methods,increase the cooperation of education between companies and institutions,as well as strive to train more applied German-speaking talents for the country.

TRAINING STRATEGIES FOR LISTENING SUB-TEST IN IELTS

Study on the Training Strategy of High Skilled Talents of Spray Coatings for Automobile in Secondary Vocational School——from the Perspective of Made in China 2025 Strategy

Made in China 2025 Strategy requires a large number of high skilled talents,which the high-skilled talents are the core backbone of skilled workers and a significant force to promote technological innovation and realize the transformation of scientific and technological achievements.In this study,combined with automotive spraying industry characteristics,four cultivation strategies are established by the construction of the system of high-skilled talent formation,training mode of on-campus+on-job highskilled talents,the common trail of national certification and enterprise certification and the star system spiraling excitation in order to create a new growth path for the cultivation of high-skilled talents in automobile spraying.

Strategies for Cultivating College Students'Innovation and Entrepreneurial Ability

Employment is the first priority for survival today.With the increasingly severe employment situation,the employment problem of college students has become inevitable.In recent years,with the expansion of university scale,the number of university graduates is increasing rapidly,with an imbalance in the number,structure,and social demand of talents;moreover,there are significant differences between college students'employment quality and social expectations.In order to cultivate the innovation and entrepreneurship ability of college students,this paper provides new ideas,analyzes the factors affecting the formation and development of college students'innovation and entrepreneurship ability,as well as proposes several strategies to enhance its scientificity,pertinence,and effectiveness,which are conducive to further strengthening innovation and entrepreneurship education as well as cultivating innovation and entrepreneurship talents in colleges and universities,thus providing strong support for talent training and teaching reform in colleges and universities in China.It also provides a solid foundation for China's social innovation and entrepreneurship,along with innovative and entrepreneurial services to meet the needs of society,so as to improve the success rate of entrepreneurship among college students,effectively promote entrepreneurship-driven employment,and solve the employment problems of college students,which are conducive to China's rapid transformation into an innovative country and a powerful country in terms of human resources.

An Overview of Language Learning Strategies

Improving non-English majors' listening comprehension through strategy training

Listening is an important part in the second language learning process,so how to improve students’ listening comprehension especially for non-English majors becomes a main concern to teachers.For this purpose,a targeted listening strategy training was conducted in listening classes.Test results manifest that sixty participants get more or less improvement in their listening comprehension after receiving a strategy training every two hours over ten weeks.Low and middle achievers make relatively more progress than high-achievers.Interviews also indicate that high achievers use top-down strategies more than low achievers in listening process,while low achievers employ more bottom-up strategies than high achievers.This indicates that effective strategy training in listening class could enhance students’ listening performance.It is hoped that this study could give some insights to the future listening teaching.

A great many recent studies have shown that making good use of learning strategies can contribute much to students' foreign language learning. This paper deals with some important issues about strategy training based on O'Malley and Chamot's theory, including the concept, value and goals of strategy training and approaches to such training.

Image captioning refers to automatic generation of descriptive texts according to the visual content of images.It is a technique integrating multiple disciplines including the computer vision(CV),natural language processing(NLP)and artificial intelligence.In recent years,substantial research efforts have been devoted to generate image caption with impressive progress.To summarize the recent advances in image captioning,we present a comprehensive review on image captioning,covering both traditional methods and recent deep learning-based techniques.Specifically,we first briefly review the early traditional works based on the retrieval and template.Then deep learning-based image captioning researches are focused,which is categorized into the encoder-decoder framework,attention mechanism and training strategies on the basis of model structures and training manners for a detailed introduction.After that,we summarize the publicly available datasets,evaluation metrics and those proposed for specific requirements,and then compare the state of the art methods on the MS COCO dataset.Finally,we provide some discussions on open challenges and future research directions.

Algorithm of Helmet Wearing Detection Based on AT-YOLO Deep Mode

The existing safety helmet detection methods are mainly based on one-stage object detection algorithms with high detection speed to reach the real-time detection requirements,but they can’t accurately detect small objects and objects with obstructions.Therefore,we propose a helmet detection algorithm based on the attention mechanism(AT-YOLO).First of all,a channel attention module is added to the YOLOv3 backbone network,which can adaptively calibrate the channel features of the direction to improve the feature utilization,and a spatial attention module is added to the neck of the YOLOv3 network to capture the correlation between any positions in the feature map so that to increase the receptive field of the network.Secondly,we use DIoU(Distance Intersection over Union)bounding box regression loss function,it not only improving the measurement of bounding box regression loss but also increases the normalized distance loss between the prediction boxes and the target boxes,which makes the network more accurate in detecting small objects and faster in convergence.Finally,we explore the training strategy of the network model,which improves network performance without increasing the inference cost.Experiments show that the mAP of the proposed method reaches 96.5%,and the detection speed can reach 27 fps.Compared with other existing methods,it has better performance in detection accuracy and speed.

Modeling and simulation of high-speed passenger train movements in the rail line

In this paper, we propose a new formula of the real-time minimum safety headway based on the relative velocity of consecutive trains and present a dynamic model of high-speed passenger train movements in the rail line based on the proposed formula of the minimum safety headway. Moreover, we provide the control strategies of the high-speed passenger train operations based on the proposed formula of the real-time minimum safety headway and the dynamic model of highspeed passenger train movements. The simulation results demonstrate that the proposed control strategies of the passenger train operations can greatly reduce the delay propagation in the high-speed rail line when a random delay occurs.

Synthetic Data Generation and Shuffled Multi-Round Training Based Offline Handwritten Mathematical Expression Recognition

Offline handwritten mathematical expression recognition is a challenging optical character recognition(OCR)task due to various ambiguities of handwritten symbols and complicated two-dimensional structures.Recent work in this area usually constructs deeper and deeper neural networks trained with end-to-end approaches to improve the performance.However,the higher the complexity of the network,the more the computing resources and time required.To improve the performance without more computing requirements,we concentrate on the training data and the training strategy in this paper.We propose a data augmentation method which can generate synthetic samples with new LaTeX notations by only using the official training data of CROHME.Moreover,we propose a novel training strategy called Shuffled Multi-Round Training(SMRT)to regularize the model.With the generated data and the shuffled multi-round training strategy,we achieve the state-of-the-art result in expression accuracy,i.e.,59.74%and 61.57%on CROHME 2014 and 2016,respectively,by using attention-based encoder-decoder models for offline handwritten mathematical expression recognition.
