The bamboo scrimber is an anisotropic material.The elastic constant values of the bamboo scrimber specimens measured by the dynamic and static methods are consistent,and the dynamic test method has the advantages of rapidity,simplicity,good repeatability,and high precision.Bamboo scrimber has strong potential as a building material,and its elastic constant is an important index to measure its mechanical properties.To quickly,simply,non-destructively,and accurately detect the elastic constant of the bamboo scrimber,they were dynamically tested by the free plate transient excitation method and cantilever plate torsional vibration method.The static four-point bending method was used to verify the accuracy and reliability of the dynamic elastic modulus,shear modulus,and Poisson’s ratio of the bamboo scrimber.The mechanism analysis and evaluation of the quality grade,homogeneity,and size effect of the bamboo scrimber whole board were carried out.The main results show that the dynamic elastic modulus,shear modulus,and Poisson’s ratio of the bamboo scrimber are 12 GPa,1500 MPa,and 0.31,respectively,which meet the requirements of GB/T 40247-2021 for structural bamboo scrimber. 展开更多

Characteristic analysis of air pressure wave generated by high-speed trains traveling through a tunnel

It is a complicated dynamic phenomenon when a transient pressure pulse is triggered by two high-speed trains passing each other in a tunnel. The air pressure pulse is a transient excitation to side wall of the car body. It can stimulate almost all vibration modes of the car body and the correlated assemblies, cause serious aerodynamic noise, and have important impacts on car body distortion, train noise, and operation safety. This article analyzes the time- frequency characteristics and main parameters of field-measured the air pressure wave, and its relationship with the train velocity as well as the vibration of the car body. Cepstrum analysis concludes that in the process of the meeting, the air pressure wave in tunnel crossing is a multiplying pressure wave instead of a superposed wave. The pressure pulse during the meeting is non-symmetrical one featured with a sharp front, large amplitude, fluctuating central sec- tion, and less sharp tail. The pulse width is inversely proportional to the train speed. As the speed increases, the impulse amplitude is amplified, and the speed of pulse front is advanced. 展开更多

The Ni-like Ag 13.9 nm x-ray laser has been previously demonstrated that the higher gain near critical surface contributes little to the amplification of the x-ray laser because of severe refraction. In this paper, the transient collision excitation (TCE) Ni-like Ag 13.9 nm x-ray laser is simulated, driven by two 3 ps short pulse preceded by a 330 ps long prepulse, optimization of the peak to peak delay time of the two short pulses is made to get the best results. Simulation indicates that by producing lowly ionized preplasma with smoothly varying electron density, it is possible to decrease electron density gradient in higher density region, and thus higher gains near this region could be utilized, and if the main short pulse is delayed by 900ps, local gains where electron density larger than - 4 × 10^20 cm^-3 could be utilized. 展开更多
