The functionally graded (FG) plate exhibits a different material properties in-plane, and the power-law rule is adopted as the governing principle for material mixing. To validate the harmonic response and demonstrate the accuracy and convergence of the isogeometric modeling, ANASYS is utilized to compare with numerical examples. A plane wave serves as the acoustic excitation, and the Rayleigh integral is applied to discretize the radiated plate. The STL results are compared with the literature, confirming the reliability of the coupling system. Finally, the investigation is conducted to study impact of cavity depth and power-law parameter on the STL.展开更多

Under non-forcible synchronization condition zero-phase synchronization of the machine is non-stationary and it-phase synchronization is stable. Under half-forcible synchronization condition in which only one motor is controlled being synchronous to another, only lag synchronization near zero-phase synchronization can be realized. Both of the characteristics have never been revealed with classical theory quantitatively. The problem is solved by means of establishing an electromechanical coupling mathematical model of the system and numerical analysis of the starting processes.展开更多

The receiving coil, integrated in microsystems and the external transmitting coil compose a loosely coupled transformer. The coupling coefficient was calculated and measured on spacing misalignments. The geometric size of transmitting coil was analyzed for the target of remotely delivering power. The received power was maximized by choosing appropriate value of frequency, tuning capacitance and the load resistance. A conventional full bridge rectifier circuit was employed to convert ac to dc voltage. The received dc power was up to 160 mW with a transmitting vohage of 5 Vrms when the receiving coil was placed at the center of the transmitting coil. This may meet the requirement of some microsystems for high power over a long time.展开更多

In the finite element model, not only the nonlinearity of wires and suspension insulators are considered, but also the support towers are included. The incremental and iterative approaches are combined by applying the unbalanced loads incrementally during each iteration cycle. The approach was illustrated with an example of a Hanjiang- River long-span transmission line system subjected to a shield wire and a conductor failure, respectively. The analysis results showed that the proposed dynamic simulation approach can demonstrate the kinetic process of the tower-line system subjected to wire ruptures: The frequencies of line components were lower and densely distributed, but the frequencies of tower components were higher and sparsely distributed. Anyhow, the dynamic effects of wire ruptures on tower-line system could not be ignored in analysis of tower-line system subjected wire failures.展开更多

The limited channel bandwidth limits the increase in inductively coupled data transmission rate.In order to improve the inductively coupled data transmission rate of mooring buoy as much as possible without damaging the data transmission performance, a new method was proposed in this paper. The method is proposed to improve the data transmission rate by selecting the appropriate carrier signal frequencies based on the principle of maximizing the amplitude value of amplitude-frequency characteristic curve of the system. Research has been done according to this method as follows. Firstly, according to the inductively coupled transmission mooring buoy structure, the inductively coupled data transmission circuit model was established. The binary frequency shift keying(2FSK) digital signal modulation mode was selected. Through theoretical analysis, the relation between the carrier signal frequency and the data transmission performance, the relation between the carrier signal frequency and the 2FSK signal bandwidth were obtained. Secondly, the performance and the bandwidth of the signal transmission were studied for the inherent characteristics of the actual inductively coupled data transmission system. The amplitude-frequency characteristic of the system was analyzed by experiments. By selecting the appropriate carrier signal frequency parameters, an excellent data transmission performance was guaranteed and a large 2FSK signal bandwidth was obtained. Finally, an inductively coupled data transmission rate optimization experiment and a bit error rate analysis experiment were designed and carried out. The results show that the high-speed and reliable data transmission of the system was realized and the rate can reach 100 kbps.展开更多

Because of the couple-stress effects, there are three types of elastic waves in the couple-stress elastic solid, two of which are dispersive. The interface conditions between two couple-stress solids involve the surface couple and rotation apart from the surface traction and displacement. The nontraditional interface conditions between the slab and two solid half-spaces are used to obtain the linear algebraic equation sets from which the amplitude ratios of reflection and transmission waves to the incident wave can be determined. Then, the energy fluxes carried by the various reflection and transmission waves are calculated numerically and the normal energy flux conservation is used to validate the numerical results. The special case, couple-stress elastic slab sandwiched by the classical elastic half-spaces, is also studied and compared with the situation that the classical elastic slab sandwiched by the classical elastic half-spaces. Incident longitudinal wave(P wave) and incident transverse wave(SV wave) are both considered. The influences of the couplestress are mainly discussed based on the numerical results. It is found that the couple-stress mainly influences the transverse modes of elastic waves.展开更多

The population in rural areas of sub-Saharan African (SSA) countries is generally low, making it economically unfeasible to implement traditional rural electrification (CRE) projects due to the high cost of establishing the necessary distribution infrastructure. To address this cost issue, one alternative technology for rural electrification (URE) that can be explored is the Capacitor Coupled Substation (CCS) technology. CCS is a cost-effective solution for supplying electricity to rural areas. The research is necessitated by the need to offer a cost-effective technology for supplying electricity to sparsely populated communities. This paper examines the impact on the transmission network when a 400 kV/400V CCS is connected to it. The system response when a CCS is connected to the network was modeled using MATLAB/Si-mulink. The results, based on the fixed load of 80 kW, showed negligible interference on the transmission line voltage. However, there was minor impact on the parameters downstream of the tapping point. These findings were further supported by introducing a fault condition to the CCS, which showed that interferences with the CCS could affect the overall stability of the transmission network downstream of the tapping node, similar to the behavior of an unstable load.展开更多

Combined with the dynamic thermal rating technology and energy forecasting, the approach can track both the electrical variables and transmission lines’ temperature varying trajectory under anticipated contingencies. Accordingly, it identifies the serious contingencies by transmission lines’ temperature violation rather than its power flow, in this case the time margin of temperature rising under each serious contingency can be provided to operators as warning information and some unnecessary security control can also be avoided. Finally, numerical simulations are carried out to testify the validity of the proposed approach.展开更多

Such a coupling has been designed as an alternative to traditional couplings to transmit the rotation from the orbiting gear to the output shaft. The driving shaft transmits a couple consisting of two equal and opposite forces to a central element which, in turn, transmits the same couple, also consisting of two equal and opposite forces to the driven shaft. This novel coupling was successfully used instead of a traditional coupling resulting in, not only a smother operation, but also a more efficient power transmission.展开更多

The transmission efficiency was measured at various distances using the transmission and receiver resonator in the tube. Furthermore, the transmission and receiver resonator were set respectively outside and inside of the tube. Experiment results were assessed computationally using the finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) simulation. As a result, the transmission efficiency of the transmitter and receiver resonators in the metallic slit tube was higher than that of the case without a metallic tube in the range of the normalized transmission-distance of x/d > 0.4. In the simulation, the current density on the metallic tube around both transmitter and receiver coil were connected. These results reveal that the slit on the tube plays a role of the relay coil.展开更多

文摘In the inductively coupled data transmission system of the mooring buoy, the carrier signal frequency of the transmission channel is limited due to the inherent characteristics of the system, resulting in limited channel bandwidth. The results show that the high-speed and reliable data transmission of the system was realized and the rate can reach 100 kbps.

文摘The accuracy of RV reducer transmission is mainly affected by the transmission accuracy. Taking the high precision RV-80E reducer as the research object, aiming at its structural characteristics, the rigid-flexible coupling model of RV reducer is established by using ADAMS multi-body dynamics simulation software, and the correctness of the model is verified. At the same time, the rigid-flexible coupling model is used to design several groups of simulation prototypes with different errors, and the influence of different error factors on the transmission accuracy of the whole machine is analyzed by simulation. Finally, through different error factors, it is concluded that the error combination of positive equidistance+negative offset or negative equidistance+positive offset can effectively reduce the influence of transmission error on the transmission accuracy of the whole machine.

文摘Inductive coupling transmission system is an important measurement device for acquiring and transmitting marine environmental information. However, low transmission rate cannot meet the current demand for large data transmission in marine environment detection at home.In order to improve the transmission performance of the system in practical communication system, optimizing the design by directly changing the circuit parameters is time-consuming and expensive. Therefore,a set of inductive coupling transmission channel analysis system is designed based on virtual instrument to improve the transmission rate and reliability of inductive coupling transmission system. The bit error rate of channel system at different frequency and noise levels are tested by using three kinds of digital modulation mode including amplitude shift keying(ASK),frequency shift keying(FSK)and differential phase shift keying(DPSK),taking square wave and sine wave as a carrier. Finally, the sine wave is selected to be carrier signal and DPSK is chosen to be modulation mode. The reliable transmission of signal with the error rate less than0.005and the transmission rate of9600bps,at the noise level of-10dB,is realized and verified by the debugging circuit experiments with multi-nodes in the laboratory. The study provides an important experimental evidence for improving signal transmission reliability of inductive coupling transmission system.

文摘In order to reduce the labor intensity, improve the production efficiency and enhance the equipment stability and the branding accuracy of the pattern,we have completed a double-row high-efficiency wooden ice cream stick branding machine structural design. The rigid-flexible coupling dynamics model is established and the movement and stress of the first-stage chain drive are calculated and analyzed. The comparison of the theoretical calculation results shows that the dynamic modeling and the structural design of the equipment are reasonable and the result of dynamic calculation also provides the basis of load data for dynamic strength calculation of structural components.
文摘A static security assessment approach considering electro-thermal coupling of transmission lines is proposed in this paper. Finally, numerical simulations are carried out to testify the validity of the proposed approach.
文摘A novel coupling for two parallel shafts with non-collinear axes has been developed and used in a cycloidal transmission with magnetic gears. This novel coupling was successfully used instead of a traditional coupling resulting in, not only a smother operation, but also a more efficient power transmission.

文摘A quasi 0-dB coupler composed of a composite right-/left-handed transmission line (CRLH TL) and a conventional right-handed transmission line (RH TL) is presented. This coupler is shown to exhibit broad bandwidth and tight coupling char- acteristics. The circuit model and S-parameter results are also demonstrated. Another coupler with properly chosen loaded lumped-elements LL and CL in the CRLH TL is proposed to gain further understanding of the coupling mechanism. By adjusting the spacing between the CRLH TL and RH TL from 8 mm to 0.2 mm, it can be shown that backward coupling occurs in the left-handed region.
文摘Wireless power transfer (WPT) using a metallic tube with axial slits was attempted to demonstrate WPT using magnetic resonance coupling to the diagnostics infrastructure. These results reveal that the slit on the tube plays a role of the relay coil.
