This study provides theoretical basis for the treatment of PID;we recommend this achievement to colleagues. Method: Firstly, we searched and collected the literatures from last three decades in CNKI, Wanfang and VIP databases, which are about classical prescriptions treating endometriosis. Then, by screening all the literatures, we obtained the clinical research literatures and individual case reports. Finally, we went through the internal quality of the two categories of literatures to get the dominant prescriptions. Using a retrospective study of evidence-based medicine research, we comprehensively collect literature, standardize the disease spectrum, classify the evidence, and then evaluate the internal quality. Results: We refine 4 prescriptions which commonly are used in the treatment of PID;in other words, they are also the clinical symptoms of PID: Gui Zhi Fu Ling Wan symptom, which manifests blood stasis and cold-damp stagnancy;Dang Gui Shao Yao San symptom, which manifests disharmony of liver and spleen, qi-blood stasis and damp obstruction;Da Huang Mu Dan Tang symptom, which manifests the gathering toxic heat and qi-blood stasis;Yi Yi Fu Zi Bai Jiang San symptom, which manifests the internal toxic heat and qi-blood injury. Conclusion: This study is gospel for the patients with recurrent episodes of PID who can’t often use antibiotics. At the same time, it is also a green therapeutics which Chinese ancients dedicated to human medicine.展开更多

[Methods] A total of 92 patients with AECOPD who came to Nanchong Chinese Medicine Hospital from March 2022 to February 2023 were selected for the study, and the intervention group (TCM nursing based on syndrome differentiation, 46 cases) and the conventional group (basic nursing, 46 cases) were selected for the study, and the pulmonary function and quality of life of the two groups were compared. [Results] Before nursing, there was no significant difference in levels of forced vital capacity (FVC), forced expiratory volume in one second (FEV1), and percentage of forced expiratory volume in one second to forced vital capacity (FEV1/FVC) between the intervention group and conventional group ( P >0.05). After 3 months of nursing, the levels of FVC, FEV1 and FEV1/FVC in the intervention group were higher than those in the conventional group ( P <0.05). Before nursing, there was no significant difference in the scores of health, emotion and social functions between the two groups ( P >0.05). At three months of nursing, the scores of health, emotion, and social functions in the intervention group were higher than those in the conventional group ( P <0.05). [Conclusions] The implementation of TCM nursing based on syndrome differentiation in patients with AECOPD can effectively improve the pulmonary function and quality of life of patients, and has significant clinical implementation value.展开更多

Despite advancements in accurately identifying biomarkers for detecting and diagnosing this harmful disease, there remains an urgent need for new biomarkers to enable early detection of DKD. In this study, we modeled publicly available transcriptome datasets as a graph problem and used GraphSAGE Neural Networks (GNNs) to identify potential biomarkers. The GraphSAGE model effectively learned representations that captured the intricate interactions, dependencies among genes, and disease-specific gene expression patterns necessary to classify samples as DKD and Control. We finally extracted the features of importance;the identified set of genes exhibited an impressive ability to distinguish between healthy and unhealthy samples, even though these genes differ from previous research findings. The unexpected biomarker variations in this study suggest more exploration and validation studies for discovering biomarkers in DKD. In conclusion, our study showcases the effectiveness of modeling transcriptome data as a graph problem, demonstrates the use of GraphSAGE models for biomarker discovery in DKD, and advocates for integrating advanced machine-learning techniques in DKD biomarker research, emphasizing the need for a holistic approach to unravel the intricacies of biological systems.展开更多
