The main idea is the use of hashing tables in order to prune a considerable portion of graph database that cannot contain the answer set. These tables are implemented using column-based techniques and are used to store graphs of database, frequent sub-graphs and the neighborhood of nodes. In order to exact checking of remaining graphs, the vertex invariant is used for isomorphism test which can be parallel implemented. The results of evaluation indicate that proposed method outperforms existing methods.展开更多

Different method are proposed to decrease the Total Harmonic Distortion (THD) and caused to be sinusoidal the output voltage of inverters. One of these methods is using multilevel structure. In this structure many important parameters which are effective on voltage source inverter operation that among them we can mention to modulation index (MI). Variation of modulation index can change the THD. One of the harmonic reduction methods is using multilevel structure. In this paper, a sample 5-level SHE-PWM voltage source inverter is presented and all equation and choosing switching angles for elimination desired harmonics from different order. To investigate the effective parameters on the inverter operation, a typical 5-level inverter is simulated in PSPICE software. The simulation has been done for different values of modulation and its effect on the inverter operation is evaluated.展开更多

In protein-identifica...Sequence tag index in the field of computational proteomics can be used to facilitate faster open-search-based identification of modified peptides and in-depth analysis of mass spectrometry data. In protein-identification search engines, sequence tag index are playing a prominent role in recent ten years due to fast searching speed. However, in pursuit of less index space consumption, some protein search engines design excessively concise index schemes which lead to higher computational burden. We proposed a new tag index scheme named TIIP with a better balance between space and time complexity. TIIP has a unique two-level hierarchical index structure which allows rapid retrieval of all peptide sequences and their corresponding masses. Theoretically, the index space consumption of TIIP is not much higher compared to the typical tag index schemes, but the time complexity of sequence retrieval can be reduced to O(1), and practically, TIIP has about one million fold improvement in searching speed compared with brute force approach.展开更多
Cloud computing is a technology that provides users with a large storage space and an enormous computing power.However,the outsourced data are often sensitive and confidential,and hence must be encrypted before being ...Cloud computing is a technology that provides users with a large storage space and an enormous computing power.However,the outsourced data are often sensitive and confidential,and hence must be encrypted before being outsourced.Consequently,classical search approaches have become obsolete and new approaches that are compatible with encrypted data have become a necessity.For privacy reasons,most of these approaches are based on the vector model which is a time consuming process since the entire index must be loaded and exploited during the search process given that the query vector must be compared with each document vector.To solve this problem,we propose a new method for constructing a secure inverted index using two key techniques,homomorphic encryption and the dummy documents technique.However,1)homomorphic encryption generates very large ciphertexts which are thousands of times larger than their corresponding plaintexts,and 2)the dummy documents technique that enhances the index security produces lots of false positives in the search results.The proposed approach exploits the advantages of these two techniques by proposing two methods called the compressed table of encrypted scores and the double score formula.Moreover,we exploit a second secure inverted index in order to manage the users'access rights to the data.Finally,in order to validate our approach,we performed an experimental study using a data collection of one million documents.The experiments show that our approach is many times faster than any other approach based on the vector model.展开更多
Lifetime performance index is a powerful and effective way to analyze whether a product achieves the specified standards.In this paper,we investigate the lifetime performance index for the inverted exponential Rayleig...Lifetime performance index is a powerful and effective way to analyze whether a product achieves the specified standards.In this paper,we investigate the lifetime performance index for the inverted exponential Rayleigh distribution using progressive type II censored sample data.The censored sample is able to greatly save the cost of the experiment and speed up the experiment.We derive the estimation value of lifetime performance index using the maximum likelihood method,and conduct the hypothesis test.Based on extensive numerical simulation,the power function is utilized to assess effectiveness of hypothesis testing.The simulation results show that lifetime performance index is good for determining whether the lifetime of the product reaches the criterion.Finally,a practical dataset is provided to give a demonstration for the procedures of lifetime performance evaluation.展开更多
