Firstly, the adaptive feedback controller which can guarantee the stability of the closed-loop system in the sense of uniform ultimate boundedness is proposed. Then the proposed adaptive idea is extended to robust stabilizing designing method for a class of large-scale interconnected systems. Here, another problem we address is to design a decentralized feedback adaptive controller such that the closed-loop system is stable in the sense of uniform ultimate boundedness for all admissible uncertainties and time-delay. By using purely mathematical transformations, the decou...A novel adaptive fault-tolerant control scheme in the differential algebraic framework was proposed for attitude control of a heavy lift launch vehicle (HLLV). By using purely mathematical transformations, the decoupled input-output representations of HLLV were derived, rendering three decoupled second-order systems, i.e., pitch, yaw and roll channels. Based on a new type of numerical differentiator, a differential algebraic observer (DAO) was proposed for estimating the system states and the generalized disturbances, including various disturbances and additive fault torques. Driven by DAOs, three improved proportional-integral- differential (PID) controllers with disturbance compensation were designed for pitch, yaw and roll control. All signals in the closed-loop system were guaranteed to be ultimately uniformly bounded by utilization of Lyapunov's indirect method. The convincing numerical simulations indicate that the proposed control scheme is successful in achieving high performance in the presence of parametric perturbations, external disturbances, noisy corruptions, and actuator faults.展开更多

Firstly, the controller for each agent is proposed by employing the error terms between the state of the agent and the average state of its neighbors. Secondly, a sufficient condition for the swarm to achieve flocking is presented under assumptions that the gradient of the environment is bounded and the initial position graph is connected. Thirdly, as the environment is a plane, it is further proved that the velocity of each agent finally converges to the velocity of the swarm center although not one agent knows where the center of the group is. In this paper, a high-dimensional nonlinear stochastic differential equation model is constructed to describe the continuous culture of microorganisms with multiple nutrients and the flocculation process of microorganisms. The study of the dynamics of this model can provide feasible control strategies for the collection/extraction of microorganisms. The main theoretical results are sufficient conditions for the permanence and extinction of the stochastic differential equation model, which are also extensions of some results in the existing literatures. However, bidirec- tional coupling in real...Wu, Chen, and Cai (2007) investigated chaos synchronization of two identical generalized Lorenz systems unidirectionally coupled by a linear state error feedback controller. However, bidirec- tional coupling in real life such as complex dynamical networks is more universal. This paper provides a unified method for analyzing chaos synchronization of two bidirectionally coupled generalized Lorenz systems. Some sufficient synchronization conditions for some special coupling matrices (diagonal ma- trices, so-called dislocated coupling matrices, and so on) are derived through rigorously mathematical theory. In particular, for the classical Lorenz system, the authors obtain synchronization criteria which only depend upon its parameters using new estimation of the ultimate bounds of Lorenz system (Chaos, Solitons, and Fractals, 2005). In this paper,we investigate a two-dimensional avian influenza model with Allee effect and stochasticity.We first show that a unique global positive solution always exists to the stochastic system for any positive ini...In this paper,we investigate a two-dimensional avian influenza model with Allee effect and stochasticity.We first show that a unique global positive solution always exists to the stochastic system for any positive initial value.Then,under certain conditions,this solution is proved to be stochastically ultimately bounded.Furthermore,by constructing a suitable Lyapunov function,we obtain sufficient conditions for the existence of stationary distribution with ergodicity.The conditions for the extinction of infected avian population are also analytically studied.These theoretical results are conformed by computational simulations.We numerically show that the environmental noise can bring different dynamical outcomes to the stochastic model.By scanning different noise intensities,we observe that large noise can cause extinction of infected avian population,which suggests the repression of noise on the spread of avian virus.展开更多
