Vegetable fields are often contaminated by heavy metals,and Spodoptera exigua is a major vegetable pest which is stressed by heavy metals mainly by feeding.In this study,cadmium accumulation in the tissues of S.exigua exposed to cadmium and its effects on the growth and development of the parents and the offspring were investigated.Under the stress of different concentrations of cadmium(0.2,3.2,and 51.2 mg kg^(-1)),the cadmium content in each tissue of S.exigua increased in a dose-dependent manner.At the larval stage,the highest cadmium accumulation was found in midgut in all three cadmium treatments,but at the adult stage,the highest cadmium content was found in fat body.In addition,the cadmium content in ovaries was much higher than in testes.When F1S.exigua was stressed by cadmium and the F_(2)generation was not fed a cadmium-containing diet,the larval survival,pupation rate,emergence rate and fecundity of the F_(2)generation were significantly reduced in the 51.2 mg kg^(-1)treatment compared to the corresponding F1generation.Even in the F_(2)generation of the 3.2 mg kg^(-1)treatment,the fecundity was significantly lower than in the parental generation.The fecundity of the only-female stressed treatment was significantly lower than that of the only-male stressed treatment at the 3.2 and 51.2 mg kg^(-1)cadmium exposure levels.When only mothers were stressed at the larval stage,the fecundity of the F_(2)generation was significantly lower than that of the F1generation in the 51.2 mg kg^(-1)treatment,and it was also significantly lower than in the 3.2 and 0.2 mg kg^(-1)treatments.The results of our study can provide useful information for forecasting the population increase trends under different heavy metal stress conditions and for the reliable environmental risk assessment of heavy metal pollution. 展开更多

Anthropogenic activities have greatly affected water resources on a global scale where the world is experiencing water quality and resources issues. Heavy metal is a crucial group of pollutants that is toxic to the environment even at low concentrations due to its bioaccumulation and biomagnification capabilities in living organisms. The detrimental effects of heavy metals on living organisms are due to their bioaccumulation in the aquatic ecosystem. Cadmium may result in adverse health effects due to its high toxicity. The study is conducted to determine the cadmium exposure effects on the morphometric indices of Anabas testudineus which are the Scaling Coefficient (SC) and Condition Factor (K) of such species. Anabas testudineus is exposed to four different cadmium treatment groups namely the control group, cadmium treatment group of 0.005 mg/L, 0.010 mg/L, and 0.015 mg/L for 16 weeks. The findings of the study have reported inconsistent trends in the values of SC and a decrease in the value of K with increasing cadmium concentration. The trend for the average SC has shown an overall decrease in value while the pattern of the K value is inconsistent in each treatment group with exposure time. Collectively, no significant differences for SC and K of A. testudineus in different treatment groups as well as comparison between treatment groups with time exposure. 展开更多

Causal Analysis Between Rice Growth and Cadmium Accumulation and Transfer under Arbuscular Mycorrhizal Inoculation

Cadmium(Cd)contamination in rice has been a serious threat to human health.To investigate the effects of arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi(AMF)on the Cd translocation in rice,a controlled pot experiment was conducted.The results indicated that AMF significantly increased rice biomass,with an increase of up to 40.0%,particularly in root biomass by up to 68.4%.Notably,the number of prominent rice individuals also increased,and their plasticity was enhanced following AMF inoculation.AMF led to an increase in the net photosynthetic rate and antioxidant enzyme activity of rice.In the AMF treatment group,the Cd concentration in the rice roots was significantly higher(19.1%‒68.0%)compared with that in the control group.Conversely,the Cd concentration in the rice seeds was lower in the AMF treatment group,indicating that AMF facilitated the sequestration of Cd in rice roots and reduced Cd accumulation in the seeds.Path coefficients varied across different treatments,suggesting that AMF inoculation reduced the direct impact of soil Cd concentration on the total Cd accumulation in seeds.The translocation of Cd was consistently associated with simultaneous growth dilution and compensatory accumulation as a result of mycorrhizal effects.Our study quantitatively analyzed this process through path analysis and clarified the causal relationship between rice growth and Cd transfer under the influence of AMF. 展开更多

Background:Heavy metal cadmium(Cd)is a widespread environmental contaminant with a potential toxicity that might negatively affect female reproduction and fertility.It has been reported that Cd exposure impaired the quality of oocytes and led to a defective maturation and fertilization,through oxidative stress induction.Resveratrol(Res)is a natural polyphenol with strong antioxidant properties that exhibited protective role in preventing oocyte redox homeostasis disruption and quality decline.Here,we explored whether the addition of Res to in vitro maturation(IVM)medium might act as a protection against Cd-induced toxicity on ovine oocyte maturation and fertilization.Firstly,we evaluated the effect of supplementing IVM medium with two different Res concentrations(1and 2μmol/L)on nuclear maturation and fertilization of oocytes matured under CdCl2(2μmol/L)exposure.Therefore,the concentration of 1μmol/L Res was selected to analyse the effects of this compound on intracellular ROS levels,mitochondrial(mt)distribution and activity,chromatin configuration,cytoskeleton morphology,cortical granules(CGs)distribution and mRNA expression of genes associated with cellular response to oxidative stress(i.e.SIRT1,SOD 1,GPX1,GSR,CAT)in Cd-exposed in vitro matured oocytes.Results:We found that 1μmol/L Res restored the reduced oocyte meiotic competence induced by Cd exposure as well as,Res sustained oocyte ability to be normally fertilized and decreased polyspermic fertilization at both tested concentrations.Moreover,we demonstrated that 1μmol/L Res mitigated Cd-induced alterations of oocyte cytoplasmic maturation by reducing reactive oxygen species(ROS)accumulation,preventing mt dysfunction,maintaining the correct meiotic spindle and cortical F-actin assembly and the normal cortical granule distribution as well as up-regulating SIRT1,SOD1 and GPX1 genes.Conclusions:Taken together,our findings highlighted the beneficial influence exerted by Res in preventing Cdinduced disturbance of nuclear and cytoplasmic maturation and subsequent fertilization in ovine oocytes.Res treatment may help to establish defence strategies counteracting Cd-induced toxicity on the female gamete. 展开更多

The presence of toxic elements in milk may threaten the public health. This study reports the levels of Cadmium (Cd), Cobalt (Co) and Lead (Pb) in raw cow’s milk collected from different areas of Zanzibar Island during March - May 2016. The samples of raw milk were analyzed by Thermo Scientific-Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer for quantitative determination of the metals in the matrix. The concentration of Co in this study ranged from ND at Mwanakwerekwe (MK1 and MK2) to a maximum of 0.004 mg/L at Mshelishelini (MS5) and Fuoni (F5) sites with mean concentration of 0.020 ± 0.003 mg/L for all sites. Concentration of Pb ranged between 0.05 - 0.51 mg/L at Fuoni (F7) and Mwanakwerekwe (MK1) respectively, with mean concentration of 0.263 ± 0.031 mg/L for all sites. However, Cd was only detected in one sample collected at Fuoni (F3) with a concentration of 0.001 mg/L. The results revealed that cow’s milk is contaminated with toxic metals, particularly Pb which exceeded the WHO maximum permissible level of 0.02 mg/L. The study furthermore sheds light on possible consequences to public health. It is recommended that, stakeholders especially in Zanzibar such as Zanzibar Food and Drug Authorities (ZFDA) and Zanzibar Bureau of Standards (ZBS) as well as researchers, use the findings of this study for policy making, future study plans, formulation of technical strategies to control milk contamination, risk assessment and develop new alternative methods to measure milk contamination even at a low detection limit for the sake of the consumers’ welfare before posing any serious effects to their health. 展开更多

Biomonitoring using fish has been a popular method of assessing the toxic effects of cadmium concentrations of cadmium in water bodies and has led to bioaccumulation in fish contributing to various morphological alterations. Among the known effects of these alterations is developmental instability via fluctuating asymmetry (FA). The utilization of FA data is a simple yet effective method to evaluate the toxic effects of cadmium on the stability of development. This study used climbing perch (Anabas testudieneus) to assess the FA in the diameter of the eye because of low-level cadmium exposure. The left and right sides of the traits were measured once every four weeks for 16 weeks. The average measurements from both sides of the traits were used to calculate the FA value. Results found that the highest mean FA for the diameter of the eye was obtained in the highest treatment group, 0.015 mg/L. The results also indicate that increasing concentrations of cadmium exposure had a statistically significant effect on the FA of eye diameter. There was also a statistically significant interaction between the duration of exposure and treatment groups in FA of the diameter of the eye. The results from the study indicate that prolonged exposure to sub-lethal concentrations of cadmium can cause significant effects on the normal development of eyes in Anabas testudineus. This study can add to the body of research regarding fluctuating asymmetry as a tool to study developmental toxicants and assess other bilateral organs. 展开更多

Dopamine alleviates cadmium stress in apple trees by recruiting beneficial microorganisms to enhance the physiological resilience revealed by high-throughput sequencing and soil metabolomics

Dopamine has demonstrated promise as a stress-relief substance.However,the function of dopamine in Cd tolerance and its mechanism remains largely unknown.The current study was performed to investigate the mechanism of dopamine on alleviating apple Cd stress through regular application of CdCl2 and dopamine solution to potting soil.The results indicated that dopamine significantly reduced reactive oxygen species(ROS)and Cd accumulation and alleviated the inhibitory effect of Cd stress on the growth of apple plants through activation of the antioxidant system,enhancement of photosynthetic capacity,and regulation of gene expression related to Cd absorption and detoxification.The richness of the rhizosphere microbial community increased,and community composition and assembly were affected by dopamine treatment.Network analysis of microbial communities showed that the numbers of nodes and total links increased significantly after dopamine treatment,while the keystone species shifted.Linear discriminant analysis effect size indicated that some biomarkers were significantly enriched after dopamine treatment,suggesting that dopamine induced plants to recruit potentially beneficial microorganisms(Pseudoxanthomonas,Aeromicrobium,Bradyrhizobium,Frankia,Saccharimonadales,Novosphingobium,and Streptomyces)to resist Cd stress.The co-occurrence network showed several metabolites that were positively correlated with relative growth rate and negatively correlated with Cd accumulation,suggesting that potentially beneficial microorganisms may be attracted by several metabolites(L-threonic acid,profenamine,juniperic acid and(3β,5ξ,9ξ)-3,6,19-trihydroxyurs-12-en-28-oic acid).Our results demonstrate that dopamine alleviates Cd stress in apple trees by recruiting beneficial microorganisms to enhance the physiological resilience revealed.This study provides an effective means to reduce the harm to agricultural production caused by heavy metals. 展开更多

Using environment-friendly and low-cost biowaste adsorbents as toxic metal ion removal substrates from aqueous solutions has a great economic advantage. This work evaluated pumpkin and potato peel biowastes for the adsorption of cadmium ions. The biowastes were treated with acid or base. Batch experiments were carried out by introducing a known concentration of metal ion solution into the biowaste sorbent at various pH levels. The pH and metal ion concentration was monitored with pH and cadmium ion-selective electrode continuously for two hours, and the final concentration for the metal ion after 24 hours was measured with the cadmium electrode and then confirmed with ICP-OES. L-type isotherms were obtained that fit to Freundlich model. Adsorption isotherms showed chemical adsorption and the kinetics following the second order model. Equilibrium adsorption capacity is higher than 29 mg/g at pH 5.6 when the initial concentration is 220 ppm. Dynamic cadmium adsorption capacity is 17 mg/g from aqueous solution when the feed solution is 220 ppm with pumpkin peel biowaste sorbent. The biowaste materials can be regenerated with acid washing. 展开更多

Cadmium(Cd)is one of the most toxic heavy metals in the environment.Atmospheric deposition has been found to be the main source of Cd pollution of soil on a large scale in China,and identification of the relationships between anthropogenic emission,atmospheric deposition,and Cd accumulation in soil is important for developing ways to mitigate Cd non-point pollution.In this study,the relationship between atmospheric emission,atmospheric deposition,and soil Cd accumulation in the Middle-Lower Yangtze Plain in China was investigated using datasets of atmospheric emission,deposition,and soil accumulation from the literatures published between 2000 and 2020.The results showed that the soil Cd accumulation rate in the study area exceeded the national average(4.0μg kg^(–1)yr^(–1))and continued to accumulate in recent decades,although the average accumulation rate decreased from 9.45μg kg^(–1)yr^(–1)(2000–2010 period)to8.86μg kg^(–1)yr^(–1)(2010–2020 period).The contribution of atmospheric deposition flux to Cd increment in the soil was in the range of 22–29%,with the atmospheric deposition flux decreasing from 0.54 mg m^(–2)yr^(–1)(2000–2010)to 0.48 mg m^(–2)yr^(–1)(2010–2020),both values being greater than the national average.Atmospheric Cd deposition and emission were highly correlated in a provincial administrative region,which is close to a ratio of 1.0.Emission factors may be in a state of dynamic change due to the influences of new Cd emission control technologies and environmental policies.As the main sources of Cd emissions,dust,and smoke emissions per ton of non-ferrous metal production decreased by 64.7%between the 2000–2010 and 2010–2020 periods.Although new environmental policies have been instigated,atmospheric emission of Cd is still excessive.It was hoped that the findings of this work would provide a scientific basis for the rational control of atmospheric emissions and Cd pollution of soil. 展开更多

Potentilla sericea is a heavy metal hyperaccumulator landscaping plant.MYB transcription factors play an important role in regulating plant stress response to adversity.However,there are few studies on MYB transcription factors in stress tolerance in Potentilla sericea.In this study,the PsMYB62 gene was successfully cloned from Potentilla sericea.Methods:Bioinformatic analysis and real-time quantitative PCR(qPCR)methods were used to evaluate this gene.The transgenic A.thaliana were obtained by flower dipping and the gene function was identified by determining physiological indicators under cadmium stress.Results:The open reading frame of PsMYB62 is 942 bp,which encodes 313 amino acids(aa)and belongs to the R2R3 MYB transcription factor.The plant overexpression vector PBI121-PsMYB62-GFP was constructed and successfully transferred into A.thaliana.The relative expression level of PsMYB62 was significantly increased by CdCl_(2),NaCl,ABA,and mannitol treatments.The germination rate of transgenic seeds was higher than those of wild type(WT)and empty vector(EV)under different concentrations of cadmium treatment.Upon treatment with 100μmol·L^(−1)of CdCl_(2)·2.5H_(2)O,the activities of superoxide dismutase(SOD),peroxidase(POD),and catalase(CAT)in the transgenic plants were significantly higher than those in the WT and EV.The contents of H_(2)O_(2),O_(2)·−and malondialdehyde(MDA)in transgenic lines were increased,but lower than those in WT and EV.The expression levels of AtGSH,AtPCS,and AtNAS4 that were related to the regulation of cadmium were increased,but the expression levels of transgenic lines were higher than those of WT and EV.Conclusion:The above results showed that PsMYB62 could be induced by cadmium and could improve the cadmium resistance of plants. 展开更多

Biochar is a functional and environmentally friendly material mainly made from by-products of industrial and agricultural production as raw material, which is cracked at high temperatures and slow speeds. The preparation of biochar requires the thermochemical conversion of biomass in an oxygen-restricted environment. Different raw materials and preparation processes result in biochar with different internal structures and biofunctional groups, which often have different properties. Adsorption of heavy metal pollutants is one of the main research directions for biochar application, and there are still areas that can be improved in the current research for biochar for treating heavy metal wastewater. In this study, we take the treatment of cadmium-containing wastewater as an example, walnut shell biochar (WSBC) as a carrier, iron(VI) compounds as a modifying reagent, and test the performance of cadmium-containing wastewater treatment using simulated cadmium-containing wastewater by adjusting the pyrolysis process and modification method at the same time to find the optimal experimental scheme, and give a reasonable theoretical explanation in relation to the results of the characterization tests, such as SEM, FT-IR, and so on. The characterized results show that iron(VI) compound (K<sub>2</sub>FeO<sub>4</sub>)-modified WSBC has a significant ability to remove cadmium contamination in the wastewater (remove 96.62% of cadmium in 1 minute), and its structure is different from other iron compound-modified ones. The aim of this study is to improve the efficiency of cadmium adsorption by specific types of biochar, while realizing the whole process as environmentally friendly as possible. 展开更多

In this study,the potential of a low-cost bio-adsorbent,taken directly from Date Palm Trunk Fibers(DPTF)agricultural wastes,for cadmium ions removal from wastewaters is examined.The performances of this adsorbent are evaluated by building breakthrough curves at different bed heights and flow rates while keeping other parameters,such as the initial feed concentration,pH,and particle size,constant.The results indicate that the maximum cadmium adsorption capacity of DTPF can be obtained from the Thomas model as 51.5 mg/g with the most extended mass transfer zone of 83 min at the lowest flow rate at 5 ml/min.The saturation concentrations(NO)and the rate constant(kab)obtained from the BDST(bed depth service time)model are 7022.16 mg/l and 0.0536 l/mg.min,respectively.Using the Yon-Nelsen Model,it is found that operating at a lower flow rate leads to a larger value of the elapsed needed time to reach a 50%breakthrough.The Wolborska model indicates that the bed capacity increases with decreasing the flow rate,and the adsorbent can achieve a greater external mass transfer kinetic coefficient(2.271/min)at a higher flow rate. 展开更多

Although Platycodon grandiflorum(Jacq.)A.DC.is a renowned medicine food homology plant,reports of excessive cadmium(Cd)levels are common,which affects its safety for clinical use and food consumption.To enable its Cd levels to be regulated or reduced,it is necessary to first elucidate the mechanism of Cd uptake and accumulation in the plant,in addition to its detoxification mechanisms.This present study used inductively couple plasma-mass-spectrometry to analyze the subcellular distribution and chemical forms of Cd in different tissues of P.grandiflorum.The experimental results showed that Cd was mainly accumulated in the roots[predominantly in the cell wall(50.96%-61.42%)],and it was found primarily in hypomobile and hypotoxic forms.The proportion of Cd in the soluble fraction increased after Cd exposure,and the proportion of insoluble phosphate Cd and oxalate Cd increased in roots and leaves,with a higher increase in oxalate Cd.Therefore,it is likely that root retention mechanisms,cell wall deposition,vacuole sequestration,and the formation of low mobility and low toxicity forms are tolerance strategies for Cd detoxification used by P.grandiflorum.The results of this study provide a theoretical grounding for the study of Cd accumulation and detoxification mechanisms in P.grandiflorum,and they can be used as a reference for developing Cd limits and standards for other medicine food homology plants. 展开更多

【目的】研究桂西北岩溶区镉(Cd)污染棕色石灰土母质稻田土壤团聚体Cd赋存形态特性,为区域内该类型Cd污染稻田稻米安全生产提供数据参考。【方法】采用湿筛法将采样土壤团聚体分离成>2.000 mm、1.000~2.000 mm、0.250~1.000 mm、0.07... 【目的】研究桂西北岩溶区镉(Cd)污染棕色石灰土母质稻田土壤团聚体Cd赋存形态特性,为区域内该类型Cd污染稻田稻米安全生产提供数据参考。【方法】采用湿筛法将采样土壤团聚体分离成>2.000 mm、1.000~2.000 mm、0.250~1.000 mm、0.074~0.250 mm和<0.074 mm 5个粒级的团聚体,研究桂西北岩溶区0~20、20~30、30~50和50~80 cm剖面深度土壤团聚体粒径组成、不同粒径团聚体Cd含量及其主要赋存形态。【结果】各层剖面0.250~1.000 mm粒径团聚体占比较为稳定,均在30.00%以上,各层剖面间无显著差异(P>0.05)。0~20 cm剖面(耕作层)中>2.000 mm粒径团聚体占比最大(40.20%),随着剖面深度增加,>2.000 mm粒径团聚体占比迅速降低,<0.250 mm粒径团聚体占比呈逐渐增加趋势。不同粒径团聚体Cd含量分析结果表明,在0~20、20~30和30~50 cm剖面中,Cd主要富集在>2.000 mm粒径团聚体中,Cd含量分别高达2.22、1.66和0.95 mg/kg,在50~80 cm剖面中,Cd主要富集在1.000~2.000 mm粒径团聚体中。>2.000 mm粒径团聚体在0~30 cm土层中对全土Cd含量的贡献率最大。不同剖面深度团聚体中Cd赋存形态存在明显差异,0~20 cm剖面各粒径团聚体中Cd主要以有机结合态存在,可交换态Cd占比最小(<0.074 mm粒径团聚体除外),随着剖面深度增加,团聚体中可交换态Cd占比明显增加,当剖面深度增加至30 cm以下时,团聚体中Cd主要以碳酸结合态存在,残渣态含量最小。【结论】桂西北岩溶区Cd污染棕色石灰土母质稻田Cd主要富集在>2.000 mm和1.000~2.000 mm粒径的团聚体中;0~20 cm耕作层各粒径团聚体中的Cd主要以有机结合态存在,可交换态占比最小,随着剖面深度的增加,可交换态Cd占比明显增加,稳定形态Cd占比明显降低。因此,在实际生产过程中要注重提高土壤大粒径团聚体含量,避免过度精耕和深翻,减少耕层土壤可交换态Cd含量,降低水稻生产过程中稻米Cd超标的风险。 展开更多

研究镉(Cd)污染对滩涂湿地围垦区西兰花根际土壤细菌群落结构的影响,探求有益于Cd污染农田土壤修复的耐Cd细菌菌群。采用Illumina Miseq高通量测序技术,分析Cd浓度分别为0,3.5,60 mg·kg^(-1)时对台州湾滩涂湿地围垦区西兰花根际土... 研究镉(Cd)污染对滩涂湿地围垦区西兰花根际土壤细菌群落结构的影响,探求有益于Cd污染农田土壤修复的耐Cd细菌菌群。采用Illumina Miseq高通量测序技术,分析Cd浓度分别为0,3.5,60 mg·kg^(-1)时对台州湾滩涂湿地围垦区西兰花根际土壤细菌群落结构和多样性指数的影响。结果表明:所有样品中检测到的细菌菌群分属于35门、97纲、205目、315科、506属。低浓度Cd污染时,西兰花根际土壤细菌Chao 1指数和Shannon指数与对照相比大幅度升高,而高浓度Cd污染时,土壤细菌Chao 1指数和Shannon均大幅度下降。随着Cd污染程度的增加,西兰花根际土壤放线菌门和浮霉菌门相对丰度呈一直下降的趋势,拟杆菌门和芽单胞菌门相对丰度呈一直升高的趋势。土壤变形菌门和髌骨菌门相对丰度呈先下降后上升的趋势,而土壤酸杆菌门、棒状杆菌门、疣微菌门、硝化螺旋菌门和厚壁菌门相对丰度呈先上升后下降的趋势。变形菌门、拟杆菌门、髌骨菌门和芽单胞菌门在高浓度Cd污染下为农田土壤细菌群落的主体。土壤罗思河小杆菌属相对丰度在低浓度Cd污染时呈下降趋势,而在高浓度Cd污染时呈升高趋势,土壤鞘氨醇单胞菌属的相对丰度在低浓度Cd污染时呈上升趋势,在高浓度Cd污染时呈下降趋势。土壤罗思河小杆菌属、马赛菌属、黄杆菌属和杜擀氏菌属可以被认为是西兰花根际土壤高抗Cd污染的细菌菌属。研究结果可为滨海滩涂地西兰花重金属污染土壤微生物修复提供依据。 展开更多

土壤镉(Cd)污染的生态安全问题不容忽视,我国目前尚缺乏基于生态风险的土壤Cd环境基准。本研究通过调研国内外关于土壤Cd的生态毒性研究,收集并筛选基于我国土壤的Cd毒性效应数据,采用物种敏感性分布法并结合Cd的生态毒性预测模型,推导... 土壤镉(Cd)污染的生态安全问题不容忽视,我国目前尚缺乏基于生态风险的土壤Cd环境基准。本研究通过调研国内外关于土壤Cd的生态毒性研究,收集并筛选基于我国土壤的Cd毒性效应数据,采用物种敏感性分布法并结合Cd的生态毒性预测模型,推导不同用地方式下的土壤全量和EDTA提取态Cd生态安全环境基准。共收集与筛选出包含13个物种或生态过程的126个土壤Cd生态毒性数据,其中陆生植物毒性数据60个(6个物种)、无脊椎动物毒性数据39个(3个物种)、生态过程毒性数据27个(4种指标)。土壤Cd生态毒性预测模型研究结果表明,土壤pH是影响Cd生态毒性的最重要因子。自然保护地和农业用地、公园用地、住宅用地、商服及工业用地不同土壤pH值范围的土壤全量Cd生态安全基准分别为1.91~5.25、3.94~11.1、7.59~22.0和10.5~30.8 mg·kg^(-1),基于EDTA提取态Cd的生态安全基准分别为1.13~3.12、2.34~6.62、4.51~13.1和6.24~18.4 mg·kg^(-1)。研究结果可为我国土壤污染风险管控标准的制修订提供依据。 展开更多

本研究旨在探究不同浓度镉(Cd)对川芎苓种萌发和幼苗生长的影响。采用以石英砂为基质的水培试验,施加不同浓度CdCl 2·2.5 H 2O(0、0.1、0.25、0.5、1、2 mmol/L)溶液处理川芎苓种,研究Cd胁迫对川芎苓种萌发、幼苗生长、生理代谢及C... 本研究旨在探究不同浓度镉(Cd)对川芎苓种萌发和幼苗生长的影响。采用以石英砂为基质的水培试验,施加不同浓度CdCl 2·2.5 H 2O(0、0.1、0.25、0.5、1、2 mmol/L)溶液处理川芎苓种,研究Cd胁迫对川芎苓种萌发、幼苗生长、生理代谢及Cd含量的影响。结果显示,随着Cd浓度的增加,株高抑制率、根长抑制率上升;根、叶及节盘Cd含量显著升高;株高、根长、叶鲜重、根鲜重下降;抗氧化酶(过氧化氢酶、过氧化物酶、超氧化物歧化酶)活性、非酶系统物质(可溶性蛋白、谷胱甘肽、脯氨酸)含量以及丙二醛含量先升高后降低。研究表明,0.1~2.0 mmol/L Cd对川芎苓种萌发和早期幼苗生长均有明显的毒害作用,随着Cd胁迫浓度的升高毒害作用增强,其中川芎幼苗根对Cd胁迫最敏感。Cd胁迫下川芎幼苗生理生化指标整体上呈现低促高抑的Hormesis效应。川芎幼苗通过提高抗氧化酶活性和非酶系统物质积累,减少膜系统损伤、活性氧蓄积,缓解Cd毒害作用,提高耐受性。 展开更多
