Effect of dioscorea opposite waste on growth performance, blood parameters, rumen fermentation and rumen bacterial community in weaned lambs

This study investigated the effects of dioscorea opposite waste(DOW) on the growth performance, blood parameters, rumen fermentation and rumen microbiota of weaned lambs. Sixty healthy weaned Small-Tailed Han lambs(male,(22.68±2.56) kg initially) were used as the experimental animals. Four levels of concentrate: 0(control, CON), 10%(DOW1), 15%(DOW2) and 20%(DOW3), were replaced with DOW in the basal diet as experimental treatments. The results showed that lambs fed the DOW2 diet had a higher(P<0.05) dry matter intake(DMI) than the other groups. There was no significant difference(P>0.05) among DOW groups in average daily weight gain(ADG), and replacing concentrate with DOW linearly or quadratically increased(P<0.05) the ADG, while lambs fed the DOW2 diet showed greater(P<0.05) ADG than the CON group. The relative plasma concentration of growth hormone(GH), insulin like growth factor-1(IGF-1) and insulin were affected by DOW, replacing concentrate with DOW linearly or quadratically(P<0.05) enhanced the plasma concentration of GH, IGF-1 and insulin, which was significantly higher(P<0.05) in the DOW2 group than in the CON, DOW1 and DOW3 groups. In addition, the DOW treatment showed a lower(P<0.05) concentration of blood urea nitrogen(BUN) than the CON group. Replacing concentrate with DOW quadratically decreased(P<0.05) the ruminal ammonia nitrogen(NH3-N) and increased(P<0.05) the total of volatile fatty acids(TVFAs) at 0 and 4 h after feeding as well as linearly decreased(P<0.05) the NH3-N at 8 h after feeding. Replacing concentrate with DOW linearly decreased(P<0.05) the propionate and increased the aceate before feeding, and linearly decreased(P<0.05) propionate and quadratically increased(P<0.05) the aceate at 4 and 8 h after feeding. Lambs fed the DOW2 diet increased the phylum Firmicutes and genera Succiniclasticum and Ruminococcus_1 groups, whereas decreased(P<0.05) the relative abundance of phylum Deferribacteres and genera intestinimonas and Ruminiclostridium. In summary, replacing the concentrate with 15% DOW was beneficial for improving the rumen fermentation and ADG by increasing the DMI and modulating the rumen microbial community.

Phase transition in bilayer quantum Hall system with opposite magnetic field

We construct a mapped bilayer quantum Hall system to realize the proposal that two nearly flatbands have opposite Chern numbers.For the C=±1 case,the two Landau levels of the bilayer experience opposite magnetic fields.We consider a mapped bilayer quantum Hall system at total fillingν_(t)=1/2+1/2where the intralayer interaction is repulsive and the interlayer interaction is attractive.We take exact diagonalization(ED)calculations on a torus to study the phase transition when the separation distance d/l_(B)is driven.The critical point at d_(c)/l_(B)=0.68 is characterized by a collapse of degeneracy and a crossing of energy levels.In the region d/l_(B)<d_(c)/l_(B),the states of each level are highly degenerate.The pair-correlation function indicates electrons with opposite pseudo-spins are strong correlated at r=0.We find an exciton stripe phase composed of bound pairs.The ferromagnetic ground state is destroyed by the strong effective attractive potential.An electron composite-Fermion(eCF)and a hole composite Fermion(hCF)are tightly bound.In the region d/lB>d_(c)/l_(B),a crossover from the d→d_(c)limit to the large d limit is observed.The electron and hole composite Fermion liquids(CFL)are realized by composite Fermions(CF)which attach opposite fluxes,respectively.

The gaze is a means of power that can flow through family relationships.It has intense regulatory overtones.In her short story Mr.Tang’s Girls,Malaysian-Chinese Anglophone diasporic writer Shirley Geok-lin Lim shows the conflict between Eastern and Western cultures and the resistance of women under the oppression of patriarchy through the portrayal of the father,Ah Kong,and the eldest daughter,Kim Li.Based on Foucault’s discipline gaze and Hooks’oppositional gaze,this article analyzes the power operation in the story from the following three aspects:the male gaze,discipline and self-discipline,and the oppositional gaze.Kim Li’s subjective image of breaking free from male ownership control has been presented.It suggests the difficulties encountered by female groups in their rebellion against the male gaze and their pursuit of freedom and emancipation.It also reflects the tragedy of awakening women’s destinies under the dual oppression of patriarchy and the East-Westen cultural conflict.

On the Theme of Coexistence of Opposites in The Left Hand of Darkness

As one of the best-known literary works of the American novelist Ursula K.Le Guin,The Left Hand of Darkness is not only successful in its splendid plots and beautiful language but also in the important function of its readers in reading.In the thesis,one of its themes,coexistence of opposites,is analyzed in the reader response perspective in order to reveal Le Guin's reader-consciousness.The theme exists on a higher level in the novel and expresses Le Guin's attitude towards life and universe.Le Guin unified her own philosophy in the novel and tried to call for the reader's resonance.

Identification of Polysaccharides from Chinese Yam(Dioscoreae opposite “Qi”) by Infrared Spectroscopy

In this study, the structure of polysaccharides from Chinese yam （Dioscoreae opposite ＂Qi＂） was analyzed and identified by infrared spectroscopy within an infrared spectral range of 400-4 000 cm^-1, Characteristic absorption peaks were observed at 840 cm^-1 （α-glucosidic bond）, 759.21 cm^-1 （xylose）, 830.87 cm^-1 （rhamnose）, 812.81 cm^-1, 876.60 cm^-1 （mannose） and 842.64 cm^-1 （arabinose） in infrared spectra of polysaccharides from D. opposite ＂Qi＂, indicating that D. opposite ＂Qi＂ polysaccharides exist mainly in the form of α-glucosidic bonds, including xylose, rhamnose, mannose and arabinose. The experimental results could provide the basis for quantitative analysis, development and application of polysaccharides from D. opposite ＂Qi＂.

Combustion simulation and key parameter optimization for opposite axial piston engine in small-scale

As potential alternative power sources used in portable electric generators, opposite axial piston engines in small-scale were investigated to show their advantages in power density. A novel cylinder charge system was introduced, based on which a quasi-dimension model and a CFD(computational fluid dynamics) model were established. Comparison of those two models was carried out to validate the quasi-dimension model. Furthermore, optimal diameter of charge cylinder and speed were determined after evaluating the quasi-dimension model based on different parameters. High agreement between the quasi-dimension model and the CFD model validates the quasi-dimension model. Further studies show that the power of engine increases with the diameter of charge cylinder. However, a too big charge cylinder lowers the fuel efficiency instead. Taking economic influence into consideration the charge cylinder should be 1.4 times power cylinder, which could ensure the power density, volumetric efficiency and fuel economic at the same time. Axial piston engine running at 1.0×104 r/min could achieve a better overall performance. The maximal power of engine with optimal parameters is 0.82 k W, which fits the power need of the portable electric generators completely.

Newton’s Method and an Exact Opposite That Average into Halley’s Method

This note is mainly concerned with the creation of oppositely converging and alternatingly converging iterative methods that have the added advantage of providing ever tighter bounds on the targeted root. By a slight parametric perturbation of Newton’s method we create an oscillating super-linear method approaching the targeted root alternatingly from above and from below. Further extension of Newton’s method creates an oppositely converging quadratic counterpart to it. This new method requires a second derivative, but for it, the average of the two opposite methods rises to become a cubic method. This note examines also the creation of high order iterative methods by a repeated specification of undetermined coefficients.

Large-amplitude dust acoustic solitons in an opposite polarity dusty plasma with generalized polarization force

Linear and nonlinear dust acoustic(DA)waves have been investigated in an opposite polarity dusty plasma comprising negatively and positively charged dust grains,Maxwellian electrons and ions,including the generalized polarization force effect.The properties of linear DA waves have been significantly altered by the dual dust polarity and polarization force.Large amplitude DA solitons have been discussed in the framework of the Sagdeev potential technique.Our results show that both rarefactive and compressive solitons can exist in such a dusty plasma.The basic features of the Sagdeev potential have been examined under the effect of the polarization force parameter R,the ratio of the charge number of the positive dust to that of the negative dust Z,and the Mach number M.The results show that these parameters play a significant role in determining the region of existence of large amplitude DA solitons.

Three-Dimensional Dust-Acoustic Waves in a Collisional Dusty Plasma with Opposite Polarity Particles

The dispersion relation is derived for three-dimensional dust-acoustic waves in a current-driven dusty plasmas with both positively and negatively charged dust particles. The dependencies of the frequency and the growth rate on the wave number K, the intensity of magnetic field B, and the inclination angle θ have been numerically shown in this paper. The growth rate is negative for the laboratory dusty plasma, but it is positive for the cosmic dusty plasma. It is found that when the inclination angle θ = π/2, there is no instability. The effect of the electrostatic field Eo has also been studied in this paper.

THEORY OF OPPOSITE ACUPOINTS AND ITS CLINICAL APPLICATION

In the light of the position character, acupoints situating on the corresponding medial and lateral sides of the limbs or in the front and back parts of the body trunk are called as “opposite acupoints”. In the present paper, the author expounds its theoretical basis from yin-yang theory, investigates its origin from the location of acupoints and ancient clinical application, and introduces its current application in clinical practice. In addition, the author lists 4 typical cases about treatment of hysteric convulsion, pregnant hypertension, child bed-wetting and leucorrhagia with opposite acupoints. Clinical practice demonstrates that opposite acupoints therapy is fewer in taking acupoints for one session of treatment, simple in operation, and good in the therapeutic effect for treatment of various diseases of different systems in the human body.

Recognizing Ancient South Indian Language Using Opposition Based Grey Wolf Optimization

Recognizing signs and fonts of prehistoric language is a fairly difficult job that requires special tools.This stipulation make the dispensation period over-riding,difficult and tiresome to calculate.This paper present a technique for recognizing ancient south Indian languages by applying Artificial Neural Network(ANN)associated with Opposition based Grey Wolf Optimization Algorithm(OGWA).It identifies the prehistoric language,signs and fonts.It is an apparent from the ANN system that arbitrarily produced weights or neurons linking various layers play a significant role in its performance.For adaptively determining these weights,this paper applies various optimization algorithms such as Opposition based Grey Wolf Optimization,Particle Swarm Optimization and Grey Wolf Opti-mization to the ANN system.Performance results are illustrated that the proposed ANN-OGWO technique achieves superior accuracy over the other techniques.In test case 1,the accuracy value of OGWO is 94.89%and in test case 2,the accu-racy value of OGWO is 92.34%,on average,the accuracy of OGWO achieves 5.8%greater accuracy than ANN-GWO,10.1%greater accuracy than ANN-PSO and 22.1%greater accuracy over conventional ANN technique.

A New Symbolic Algorithm for Solving General Opposite-Bordered Tridiagonal Linear Systems

In the current article we propose a new efficient, reliable and breakdown-free algorithm for solving general opposite-bordered tridiagonal linear systems. An explicit formula for computing the determinant of an opposite-bordered tridiagonal matrix is investigated. Some illustrative examples are given.

注意缺陷多动障碍共患对立违抗障碍儿童大脑皮质形态学特点

目的:探讨注意缺陷多动障碍(ADHD)共患对立违抗障碍(ODD)儿童的大脑皮质形态学特点。方法:选取符合美国精神障碍诊断与统计手册第4版(DSM-IV)诊断标准的ADHD共患ODD儿童16例,不共患ODD的ADHD儿童20例,及性别、年龄匹配的36例正常对照儿童。采用中国修订韦氏儿童智力量表(C-WISC)评估智商。所有被试进行脑磁共振成像扫描及数据采集,采用FreeS urfer软件分析大脑皮质形态学指标。结果:ADHD伴ODD组[(6528.1±857.5)mm^(3)vs.(7591.2±657.3)mm^(3)]、ADHD不伴ODD组[(6867.2±841.3)mm^(3)vs.(7591.2±657.3)mm^(3)]左外侧颞上回脑区皮质体积均小于正常对照组(P<0.05),而ADHD伴ODD与ADHD不伴ODD两组间体积差异无统计学意义(P>0.05);ADHD组左外侧颞上回脑区皮质体积与ODD症状的相关无统计学意义(P>0.05)。3组间皮质厚度、表面积和曲率差异无统计学意义(均P>0.05)。结论:左外侧颞上回皮质体积减小可能是ADHD儿童的重要脑结构异常指征,共患ODD未改变这一特点。

Effect of process parameters on electrical,optical properties of IZO films produced by inclination opposite target type DC magnetron sputtering

IZO films were deposited onto PET substrate at room temperature with the inclined opposite target type DC magnetron sputtering equipment,in which a sintered oxide IZO target(doped with 10% ZnO,packing density of 99.99%) was used.The effects of total sputtering pressure and film thickness on IZO films properties were studied.All the films produced at room temperature have a amorphous structure,irrespective of the total sputtering pressure and film thickness.A resistivity of the order of 10-4 Ωcm was obtained for IZO films deposited at lower pressure(film thickness of 190 nm).The resistivity of IZO films deposited at room temperature depends on film thickness and shows a minimum at a thickness of 530 nm.

论我国民事诉讼法学的法理化——兼论法理学与法教义学的关系

我国民事诉讼法学历经注释学到规范研究的方法迭代。着眼于规范研究超然于现行立法和司法实践,受法理学和部门法学之影响,民事诉讼法教义学被青睐和提倡。囿于我国民事诉讼立法和司法的发展阶段,尤其是当事人主义诉讼体制转型尚未最终完成,民事诉讼法教义学存在异化可能,即低估理论对实践的指引作用,盲从于立法和司法实践,消解来之不易的诉讼理论共识,蕴含退回职权主义诉讼体制之系统风险。停留在注释和实证分析的民事诉讼法教义学也终将枯竭其思想体系而退化为单纯的知识体系,最终由“深科学”退步为“浅科学”。充分肯定和贯彻当事人主义,实现法理在法律体系和审判实践中的泛在,这既是改革开放以来我国民事诉讼体制转型和研究方法革新的有益经验,亦是民事诉讼法教义学的中国式现代化必须坚持的目标与路径。
