The Declaration was based on Southern scholarship, such as the pioneering research conducted by the Senegalese jurist Kéba M’baye. And its adoption was the result of joint stage management performed by diplomats from different continents. Therefore the Declaration serves as a source of inspiration for the work of drafting a Comprehensive Southern Vision on human rights. 文摘Irecently read Studies on the Universal Declaration of Human Rights by Prof. Sun Pinghua. With the support ofgovernmental social science fund ing, Prof. Sun wrote the book on the basis of his doctoral thesis. I would like to share my thoughts after read ing this book. After the Universal Declaration of Human Rights was published on Dec. 10, 1948, Chinese scholars and media studied the document and introduced it to China. Since the adoption of the reform and opening up policy three decades ago, and with the building of the socialist legal system with Chinese charac teristics and the deepening of human rights dialogue between China and other countries and international organizations, the academic com munity has shown more interest in studying the document. 文摘On Dec. 10, 2009, the International Human Rights Day, Scholars and students inBeijing gathered to commemorate the 61st anniversary of the adoption of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights in China University of Political Science and Law. The Human Rights and Humanitarian Law Institute of China University of Political Science and Law, the Law School of Renmin University of China, and the LawSchool of Tsinghua University jointly sponsored the commemorations. The commemoration consisted of four parts including "the 61 st Anniversary of the Adoption of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights Photo Exhibition", "Remembrance of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights", and relative academic seminars.
文摘Having proper sanitation and hygiene, access to affordable health care and enough food on the table are the basic conditions for a dignified life. This link between human dignity and the right to development was made very persuasively already in the White Paper on human rights, issued by the State Council of P.R.C. in 1991. The Declaration on the right to development can be considered the first successful joint action undertaken by Southern states in the area of human rights. The Declaration was based on Southern scholarship, such as the pioneering research conducted by the Senegalese jurist Kéba M’baye. And its adoption was the result of joint stage management performed by diplomats from different continents. Therefore the Declaration serves as a source of inspiration for the work of drafting a Comprehensive Southern Vision on human rights. The Vision document will lay out a common Southern outlook on human rights issues as an elaboration of the Universal Declaration.
文摘To inherit and develop the traditional Chinese medicine, the scientific and technological innovation is the key. With the development of the artificial intelligence (AD, it provides strong technical support for the development of the TCM intellectualized development. But there are many common problems in the intellectualization of the traditional Chinese medicine. The practicability is not strong, with the lack ofsystematicness, and it cannot reflect the core thought of the TCM syndrome differentiation and treatment. This article focuses on these problems and puts forward the basic strategies for the intellectualization and sustainable development of the traditional Chinese medicine, advocating that the intellectualization of the traditional Chinese medicine should adhere to the holistic point of five internal organs, the holism of body and spirit and the holism of human beings and universe.
