As the scale of urban rail transit(URT)networks expands,the study of URT resilience is essential for safe and efficient operations.This paper presents a comprehensive review of URT resilience and highlights potential ...As the scale of urban rail transit(URT)networks expands,the study of URT resilience is essential for safe and efficient operations.This paper presents a comprehensive review of URT resilience and highlights potential trends and directions for future research.First,URT resilience is defined by three primary abilities:absorption,resistance,and recovery,and four properties:robustness,vulnerability,rapidity,and redundancy.Then,the metrics and assessment approaches for URT resilience were summarized.The metrics are divided into three categories:topology-based,characteristic-based,and performance-based,and the assessment methods are divided into four categories:topological,simulation,optimization,and datadriven.Comparisons of various metrics and assessment approaches revealed that the current research trend in URT resilience is increasingly favoring the integration of traditional methods,such as conventional complex network analysis and operations optimization theory,with new techniques like big data and intelligent computing technology,to accurately assess URT resilience.Finally,five potential trends and directions for future research were identified:analyzing resilience based on multisource data,optimizing train diagram in multiple scenarios,accurate response to passenger demand through new technologies,coupling and optimizing passenger and traffic flows,and optimal line design.展开更多
Accurate origin–destination(OD)demand prediction is crucial for the efficient operation and management of urban rail transit(URT)systems,particularly during a pandemic.However,this task faces several limitations,incl...Accurate origin–destination(OD)demand prediction is crucial for the efficient operation and management of urban rail transit(URT)systems,particularly during a pandemic.However,this task faces several limitations,including real-time availability,sparsity,and high-dimensionality issues,and the impact of the pandemic.Consequently,this study proposes a unified framework called the physics-guided adaptive graph spatial–temporal attention network(PAG-STAN)for metro OD demand prediction under pandemic conditions.Specifically,PAG-STAN introduces a real-time OD estimation module to estimate real-time complete OD demand matrices.Subsequently,a novel dynamic OD demand matrix compression module is proposed to generate dense real-time OD demand matrices.Thereafter,PAG-STAN leverages various heterogeneous data to learn the evolutionary trend of future OD ridership during the pandemic.Finally,a masked physics-guided loss function(MPG-loss function)incorporates the physical quantity information between the OD demand and inbound flow into the loss function to enhance model interpretability.PAG-STAN demonstrated favorable performance on two real-world metro OD demand datasets under the pandemic and conventional scenarios,highlighting its robustness and sensitivity for metro OD demand prediction.A series of ablation studies were conducted to verify the indispensability of each module in PAG-STAN.展开更多

To realize a better automatic train driving operation control strategy for urban rail trains,an automatic train driving method with improved DQN algorithm(classical deep reinforcement learning algorithm)is proposed as...To realize a better automatic train driving operation control strategy for urban rail trains,an automatic train driving method with improved DQN algorithm(classical deep reinforcement learning algorithm)is proposed as a research object.Firstly,the train control model is established by considering the train operation requirements.Secondly,the dueling network and DDQN ideas are introduced to prevent the value function overestimation problem.Finally,the priority experience playback and“restricted speed arrival time”are used to reduce the useless experience utilization.The experiments are carried out to verify the train operation strategy method by simulating the actual line conditions.From the experimental results,the train operation meets the ATO requirements,the energy consumption is 15.75%more energy-efficient than the actual operation,and the algorithm convergence speed is improved by about 37%.The improved DQN method not only enhances the efficiency of the algorithm but also forms a more effective operation strategy than the actual operation,thereby contributing meaningfully to the advancement of automatic train operation intelligence.展开更多

Factors considered in the multi- objective optimization model include transport capacity, the requirements of traffic organization, corporation benefits, passenger demands, and passenger choice behavior under multi-train-routing mode. According to the characteristics of this model and practical planning experience, a three-phase solution was designed to gradually optimize the train formarion, train counts as well as operation periods. In order to obtain the trend of urban rail transit traffic flow and grasp the fluctuation range of passenger flow better,this paper proposes a combined forecasting model of passenger flow fluctuation range based on fu...In order to obtain the trend of urban rail transit traffic flow and grasp the fluctuation range of passenger flow better,this paper proposes a combined forecasting model of passenger flow fluctuation range based on fuzzy information granulation and least squares support vector machine(LS-SVM)optimized by chaos particle swarm optimization(CPSO).Due to the nonlinearity and fluctuation of the passenger flow,firstly,fuzzy information granulation is used to extract the valid data from the window according to the requirement.Secondly,CPSO that has strong global search ability is applied to optimize the parameters of the LS-SVM forecasting model.Finally,the combined model is used to forecast the fluctuation range of early peak passenger flow at Tiyu Xilu Station of Guangzhou Metro Line 3 in 2014,and the results are compared and analyzed with other models.Simulation results demonstrate that the combined forecasting model can effectively track the fluctuation of passenger flow,which provides an effective method for predicting the fluctuation range of short-term passenger flow in the future.展开更多
In order to explore the influence of soil resistivity on stray current in power supply system of urban rail transit,we establish an equivalent circuit model of the rail-to-ground structure based on resistance network ...In order to explore the influence of soil resistivity on stray current in power supply system of urban rail transit,we establish an equivalent circuit model of the rail-to-ground structure based on resistance network method first.After measuring the soil resistivity of a real subway system,a simulation model is established in Matlab to obtain the stray currents at different soil resistivities.Then the influence of soil resistivity on stray current is analyzed.Afterwards,to verify the rationality and reliability of the simulation model,we design a test circuit to measure the stray current and rail-to-ground voltage in a real subway system,and a comparison of the experimentally measured results and simulation results is presented.The results show that the stray current is the maximum when the soil resistivity is 211.57Ω·m;when the soil resistivity is 768.47Ω·m,the stray current is the minimum,that is,the smaller the soil resistivity,the greater the stray current.Therefore,the resistivity should be increased as much as possible when ramming the track foundation in urban rail transit system.展开更多
The rapid development of urban rail transit brings convenience to the public,but its huge energy consumption problem cannot be ignored.A microgrid composed of photovoltaic power generation unit,regenerative braking en...The rapid development of urban rail transit brings convenience to the public,but its huge energy consumption problem cannot be ignored.A microgrid composed of photovoltaic power generation unit,regenerative braking energy feedback unit and battery energy storage unit is proposed,which provides green power for the station.In order to suppress the fluctuation of photovoltaic power generation and the intermittence of regenerative braking feedback energy,the energy management mode of microgrid is designed according to the illumination situation,braking energy feedback situation,battery state of charge and so on.In addition,a coordination control method based on virtual synchronous generator(VSG)is proposed to realize smooth switching among modes.Finally,the proposed energy management and coordination control method for elevated station microgrid is verified by Matlab/Simulink.The results show that the elevated station microgrid can operate safely and reliably under various energy management modes and realize smooth switching among modes.展开更多

When an urban rail transit system is evaluated in terms of its service capacity, the train departure capacity is an important index that can objectively reflect the service level of an urban rail transit facility. In light of the existing cellular automaton models, this paper proposes a suitable cellular automaton model to analyze the train departure capacity of urban rail transit under different variable factors and conditions. The established model can demonstrate the train operating processes by implementing the proposed sound rules, including the rules of train departure at the origin and intermediate stations, and the velocity and position updating rules. The properties of train traffic are analyzed via numerical experiments. The numerical results show that the departure capacity is negatively affected by the train departure control manner. In addition, (i) the real-time signal control can offer a higher train service frequency; (ii) the departure capacity gradually rises with the decrease in the line design speed to a limited extent; (iii) the departure capacity decreases with extension in the train length; (iv) the number of departed trains decreases as the train stop time increases; (v) the departure capacity is not affected by the section length. However, the longer the length, the worse the service quality of the urban rail transit line. The experiments show that the proposed cellular automaton model can be used to analyze the train service capacity of an urban rail transit system by performing quantitative analysis under various considered factors, conditions, and management modes.展开更多

The proposed system consists of a main substation (MSS) and cable traction network (CTN). The MSS includes a single-phase main traction transformer and a negative-se- quence compensation device, while the CTN includes double-core cables, traction transformers, overhead catenary system, rails, etc. Several key techniques for the proposed system were put forward and discussed, which can be summarized as (1) the power supply principle, equivalent circuit and transmission ability of the CTN, the cable-catenary matching technique, and the selection of catenary voltage level; (2) the segmentation technology and status identification method for traction power supply network, distributed and centralized protection schemes, etc.; (3) a power supply scheme for single-line MSS and a power supply scheme of MSS shared by two or more lines. The proposed industrial frequency single-phase AC traction power supply system shows an excellent technical performance, good economy, and high reliability, hence provides a new alternative for metro and urban rail transit power supply systems.展开更多

Urban rail transit has the advantages of large traffic capacity,high punctuality and zero congestion,and it plays an increasingly important role in modern urban life.Braking system is an important system of urban rail...Urban rail transit has the advantages of large traffic capacity,high punctuality and zero congestion,and it plays an increasingly important role in modern urban life.Braking system is an important system of urban rail train,which directly affects the performance and safety of train operation and impacts passenger comfort.The braking performance of urban rail trains is directly related to the improvement of train speed and transportation capacity.Also,urban rail transit has the characteristics of high speed,short station distance,frequent starting,and frequent braking.This makes the braking control system constitute a time-varying,time-delaying and nonlinear control system,especially the braking force changes directly disturb the parking accuracy and comfort.To solve these issues,a predictive control algorithm based on T-S fuzzy model was proposed and applied to the train braking control system.Compared with the traditional PID control algorithm and self-adaptive fuzzy PID control algorithm,the braking capacity of urban rail train was improved by 8%.The algorithm can achieve fast and accurate synchronous braking,thereby overcoming the dynamic influence of the uncertainty,hysteresis and time-varying factors of the controlled object.Finally,the desired control objectives can be achieved,the system will have superior robustness,stability and comfort.展开更多

文摘With the rapid development of urban rail transit,the traditional operation and maintenance methods mainly rely on manpower,and the pressure on equipment operation and maintenance is increasing,and the low work efficiency,high intensity and high operating costs have always been the main problems at this stage.Through BIM visualization technology can effectively solve those problems,the operation and maintenance mode of urban rail signal equipment at this stage is discussed,the integration and visualization of BIM technology are used to make the judgments and early warnings on the maintenance of urban rail signal equipment,and play a positive and important role in operation and maintenance work,this research result can provide ideas and references for urban rail transit operation and maintenance in the new era.

文摘As a development direction of urban rail transit system,the train autonomous circumambulate system(TACS)can operate in a safer,more efficient,and more economical mode.However,most urban rail transit systems transmit signals through industrial,scientific,and medical(ISM)frequency bands or narrow frequency bands,which cannot meet the requirements of TACS.As a promising solution,the 5th generation(5G)mobile communication provides more services for the future urban rail transit systems,and covers the shortages of exiting communication technologies in terms of capacity and reliability.In this paper,we first briefly review the research status of current train control system and introduce its limitations.Next,we propose a novel network architecture,and present new technologies and requirements of the proposed architecture for TACS.Some potential challenges are then discussed to give insights for further research of TACS.

文摘The train plan of urban rail transit under multi-routing mode can be divided into three parts: train formation, train operation periods and corresponding train counts of each routing in each period. Based on the analysis of passen- ger's general travel expenses and operator's benefits, the constraints and objective functions are defined and the multiobjective optimization model for the train plan of urban rail transit is presented. Factors considered in the multi- objective optimization model include transport capacity, the requirements of traffic organization, corporation benefits, passenger demands, and passenger choice behavior under multi-train-routing mode. According to the characteristics of this model and practical planning experience, a three-phase solution was designed to gradually optimize the train formarion, train counts as well as operation periods. The instance of Changsha Metro Line 2 validates the feasibility and efficiency of this approach.

文摘In order to obtain the trend of urban rail transit traffic flow and grasp the fluctuation range of passenger flow better,this paper proposes a combined forecasting model of passenger flow fluctuation range based on fuzzy information granulation and least squares support vector machine(LS-SVM)optimized by chaos particle swarm optimization(CPSO).Due to the nonlinearity and fluctuation of the passenger flow,firstly,fuzzy information granulation is used to extract the valid data from the window according to the requirement.Secondly,CPSO that has strong global search ability is applied to optimize the parameters of the LS-SVM forecasting model.Finally,the combined model is used to forecast the fluctuation range of early peak passenger flow at Tiyu Xilu Station of Guangzhou Metro Line 3 in 2014,and the results are compared and analyzed with other models.Simulation results demonstrate that the combined forecasting model can effectively track the fluctuation of passenger flow,which provides an effective method for predicting the fluctuation range of short-term passenger flow in the future.

文摘In order to explore the influence of soil resistivity on stray current in power supply system of urban rail transit,we establish an equivalent circuit model of the rail-to-ground structure based on resistance network method first.After measuring the soil resistivity of a real subway system,a simulation model is established in Matlab to obtain the stray currents at different soil resistivities.Then the influence of soil resistivity on stray current is analyzed.Afterwards,to verify the rationality and reliability of the simulation model,we design a test circuit to measure the stray current and rail-to-ground voltage in a real subway system,and a comparison of the experimentally measured results and simulation results is presented.The results show that the stray current is the maximum when the soil resistivity is 211.57Ω·m;when the soil resistivity is 768.47Ω·m,the stray current is the minimum,that is,the smaller the soil resistivity,the greater the stray current.Therefore,the resistivity should be increased as much as possible when ramming the track foundation in urban rail transit system.

文摘The rapid development of urban rail transit brings convenience to the public,but its huge energy consumption problem cannot be ignored.A microgrid composed of photovoltaic power generation unit,regenerative braking energy feedback unit and battery energy storage unit is proposed,which provides green power for the station.In order to suppress the fluctuation of photovoltaic power generation and the intermittence of regenerative braking feedback energy,the energy management mode of microgrid is designed according to the illumination situation,braking energy feedback situation,battery state of charge and so on.In addition,a coordination control method based on virtual synchronous generator(VSG)is proposed to realize smooth switching among modes.Finally,the proposed energy management and coordination control method for elevated station microgrid is verified by Matlab/Simulink.The results show that the elevated station microgrid can operate safely and reliably under various energy management modes and realize smooth switching among modes.

文摘As an important traffic mode, urban rail transit is constantly developing toward improvement in service capacity and quality. When an urban rail transit system is evaluated in terms of its service capacity, the train departure capacity is an important index that can objectively reflect the service level of an urban rail transit facility. In light of the existing cellular automaton models, this paper proposes a suitable cellular automaton model to analyze the train departure capacity of urban rail transit under different variable factors and conditions. The established model can demonstrate the train operating processes by implementing the proposed sound rules, including the rules of train departure at the origin and intermediate stations, and the velocity and position updating rules. The properties of train traffic are analyzed via numerical experiments. The numerical results show that the departure capacity is negatively affected by the train departure control manner. In addition, (i) the real-time signal control can offer a higher train service frequency; (ii) the departure capacity gradually rises with the decrease in the line design speed to a limited extent; (iii) the departure capacity decreases with extension in the train length; (iv) the number of departed trains decreases as the train stop time increases; (v) the departure capacity is not affected by the section length. However, the longer the length, the worse the service quality of the urban rail transit line. The experiments show that the proposed cellular automaton model can be used to analyze the train service capacity of an urban rail transit system by performing quantitative analysis under various considered factors, conditions, and management modes.
文摘To avoid stray current and maintain the benefit of no phase-split in the DC traction power supply system, an AC traction power supply system was proposed for the urban public transport such as metro and light rail transit. The proposed system consists of a main substation (MSS) and cable traction network (CTN). The MSS includes a single-phase main traction transformer and a negative-se- quence compensation device, while the CTN includes double-core cables, traction transformers, overhead catenary system, rails, etc. Several key techniques for the proposed system were put forward and discussed, which can be summarized as (1) the power supply principle, equivalent circuit and transmission ability of the CTN, the cable-catenary matching technique, and the selection of catenary voltage level; (2) the segmentation technology and status identification method for traction power supply network, distributed and centralized protection schemes, etc.; (3) a power supply scheme for single-line MSS and a power supply scheme of MSS shared by two or more lines. The proposed industrial frequency single-phase AC traction power supply system shows an excellent technical performance, good economy, and high reliability, hence provides a new alternative for metro and urban rail transit power supply systems.

文摘With the rapid development of urban rail transit,passenger traffic is increasing,and obstacle violations are more frequent,and the safety of train operation under high-density traffic conditions is becoming more and more thought provoking.In order to monitor the train operating environment in real time,this paper first adopts multisensing technology based on machine vision and lidar,which is used to collect video images and ranging data of the track area in real time,and then it performs image preprocessing and division of regions of interest on the collected video.Then,the obstacles in the region of interest are detected to obtain the geometric characteristics and position information of the obstacles.Finally,according to the danger degree of obstacles,determine the degree of impact on the train operation,and use the signal system automatic response ormanual response mode to transmit the detection results to the corresponding train,so as to control the train operation.Through simulation analysis and experimental verification,the detection accuracy and control performance of the detection method are confirmed,which provides safety guarantee for the train operation.
文摘This paper is engaged in the research of urban rail transit hub integration and transfer.Firstly,this paper focuses on the space division,the aggregation form of hub subsystems,the spatial layout of hub subsystems,and the design of integrated functions to achieve an integrated layout.In addition,this study also conducted a selection of transfer classification and transfer station layout of urban rail transit hubs,with the aims to promote the improvement of the functions of urban rail transit hubs,the rationality of transfers,and to improve the service quality of the hub system which meet the demand of the public travel.

文摘Urban rail transit has the advantages of large traffic capacity,high punctuality and zero congestion,and it plays an increasingly important role in modern urban life.Braking system is an important system of urban rail train,which directly affects the performance and safety of train operation and impacts passenger comfort.The braking performance of urban rail trains is directly related to the improvement of train speed and transportation capacity.Also,urban rail transit has the characteristics of high speed,short station distance,frequent starting,and frequent braking.This makes the braking control system constitute a time-varying,time-delaying and nonlinear control system,especially the braking force changes directly disturb the parking accuracy and comfort.To solve these issues,a predictive control algorithm based on T-S fuzzy model was proposed and applied to the train braking control system.Compared with the traditional PID control algorithm and self-adaptive fuzzy PID control algorithm,the braking capacity of urban rail train was improved by 8%.The algorithm can achieve fast and accurate synchronous braking,thereby overcoming the dynamic influence of the uncertainty,hysteresis and time-varying factors of the controlled object.Finally,the desired control objectives can be achieved,the system will have superior robustness,stability and comfort.

文摘Urban rail transit(URT) has been playing an important role in urban sustainable development with its advantages of high speed,large capacity,high efficiency and low pollution.Estimating URT network scale is the key to ensure the scientificity and feasibility of its construction.The existing studies on rational scale of URT network have not dealt with the interaction of supply and demand.This paper describes the establishment of a system dynamics model of rational URT network scale determination,considering the interaction between URT construction and city social economic development as well as the dynamic equilibrium of capital supply and traffic demand,and the verification of the model validity by applying it to the case of Wuhan City's URT construction.
