Research on Urban Tourism Image Positioning:A Case Study of Dengfeng in Henan Province

Aiming at facilitating the research of urban tourism image positioning,this paper summarizes the domestic and abroad theories on urban tourism image and analyzes its significance for cities.With Dengfeng as an example,its goal is to boost development of Dengfeng tourism,which is an excellent tourism city in China.This paper presents its current urban tourism developing situation,positions its tourism image,concludes the plan of image brand and proposes promotional slogans based on the analysis of Dengfeng tourism local features,its core elements and perceptions of visitors.

URBAN TOURISM RESEARCH METHODOLOGY——A Case Study of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Area

This paper tries to apply a new and more comprehensive method to urban tourism research in an expanded field instead of only partially, unilaterally and separately focusing on the city itself. Taking the urban tourism of Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao as an example, it aims at presenting a new spatial system of urban tourism research and pointing out the new orientation of urban tourism research in combination of macro level and micro level, from description to explanation. The meanings of the spatial framework construction for urban tourism study are to make clear how urban tourism studies vary with the changes of dimensions of time and space. This is a meaningful discussion because it will bring great changes to the using of literatures, the opening of research perspectives on urban tourism and the upgrading of theories, so as to create a new stage for urban tourism study.

Evaluation on Urban Tourism Competitiveness of Beibu Gulf Rim Based on the Entropy Approach

The tourism competitiveness of the cities around the Beibu Gulf was studied using the entropy method from the perspective of the 14 indexes of tourism current competitiveness,tourism support competitiveness and tourism potential competitiveness.The results show that the cities of Sanya,Nanning and Haikou have the stronger competitiveness;the cities of Zhanjiang,Beihai,Chongzuo and Maoming have moderate competitiveness;and the cities of Yulin,Qinzhou,Yangjiang and Fangchenggang have the weak competitiveness.According to the analysis of the index weight and comprehensive ranking,almost each aspect contributes to the city competitiveness.The index weights of the tourism current competitiveness,tourism support competitiveness and tourism potential competitiveness are 0.27222,0.3938 and 0.33398,respectively.Based on the niche theory,the article put forward the strategies:dislocation development,balanced development and regional tourism competition and cooperation development.

Spatial characteristics of development efficiency for urban tourism in eastern China： A case study of six coastal urban agglomerations

The traditional data envelopment analysis（DEA）, bootstrap-DEA and Malmquist models are employed to measure different tourism efficiencies and their spatial characteristics of 61 cities in six coastal urban agglomerations in eastern China. The following conclusions are drawn.（1） The comprehensive efficiency（CE） of urban tourism using the bootstrap-DEA model is lower than the CE level using the DEA-CRS model, which confirms the significant tendency of the DEA-CRS model to overestimate results.（2） The geometric CE averages of urban tourism in the Yangtze River Delta（YRD） and the Pearl River Delta（PRD） have changed from ineffective to effective since 2000, the averages in the Beijing-TianjinHebei（BTH） and the Shandong Peninsula（SDP） have changed from ineffective to moderately effective since 2000, and those in the Central and Southern Liaoning（CSL） and the West Bank of Taiwan Strait（WBTS） have been ineffective since 2000.（3） The CE values of urban tourism in the PRD, the YRD, the BTH and the SDP have been slightly affected by the pure technical efficiency（PTE）, whereas the CE values in the CSL and the WBTS have been slightly affected by the scale efficiency（SE） since 2000.（4） Spatially, the range of geometric averages of the total factor productivity（TFP） for the PRD, the YRD, the BTH, the SDP, the WBTS and the CSL has decreased sequentially, while the one for most cities in six urban agglomerations has exhibited a downward trend since 2000.（5） Collectively, the natural conditions, the economic policies and the tourism capital drive the SE change of urban tourism of the CSL and the WBTS. The tourism enterprises for increasing returns to scale and imitating innovative technology have an effect on the CE change of urban tourism in the BTH and the SDP. The tourism market competition drives the PTE change of urban tourism in the PRD and the YRD. Although the PTE and the SE of urban tourism in six coastal urban agglomerations suffer from uncertain events, the CE maintained overall sound momentum since 2000.

Tourism sectorization opportunity spectrum model and space partition of tourism urbanization area:a case of the Mayangxi ecotourism area,Fujian province,China

Nowadays, tourism has become an increasingly significant driving force of modern urbanization in China. However, it has caused varieties of problems, such as resource unreasonable utilization, society unfair play, and environment pollution, etc. Thus, the establishment of an efficient and sustainable space partition model for tourism urbanization, from the geographical perspective, is highly necessary and urgent. Herein, a new evaluation model of tourist town space, referred to as Tourism Sectorization Opportunity Spectrum(TSOS), is established on the relationships between productionliving-ecology spaces. TSOS is a kind of quantitative evaluation model involving such factors as urban living area, ecological conservation area and the tourism industry. Furthermore, the analysis of quantitative production-living-ecology spatial overlap has been utilized for space division in a tourism urbanization area. This paper, using both the TSOS model and GIS technology, analyzes the spatial restructure of the Mayangxi ecotourism area. Theresult demonstrates that tourism industrial space takes the Shanchong Village as a core which shows a pattern of local regional agglomeration and a fuzzy edge extending along the entire Mayangxi River. The urban living area should be consolidated in the Shili village with the supporting facilities and living space for tourism. In addition, Tianzhu Mountain forest park should be the key environmental protection area. The case study on the Mayangxi ecotourism area verifies that the TSOS model has strong operability. Therefore, TSOS model provides a scientific foundation for the space reconstruction of new urbanization area, and an effective tool for optimizing the space partition of a tourism urbanization area.

How to Develop Chinese Rural Tourism in the Context of New Urbanization?

With economic development,the type and form of tourism products are constantly innovated,and rural tourism has become one of the main travel choices of contemporary Chinese people. In 2014,China formulated National New Urbanization Plan,providing a new opportunity for development of rural tourism. In this paper,we first summarize the development situation and connotation of new urbanization and rural tourism,then discuss the mutually reinforcing interaction between the two,analyze the main problems in Chinese rural tourism under new urbanization,and finally put forth the recommendations,in order to better meet the needs of new urbanization,and strive to create a new model of tourism urbanization.

Study on the Development of Urban Ecotourism:A Case Study of the Bund of Shanghai

Based on the analysis of biological and non-biological factors in ecotourism development of the Bund,strengths,weaknesses,opportunities and challenges of its ecotourism development were explored from the perspectives of resource,location,tourist source and policy,and suggestions were given to further promote ecotourism development of the Bund.

Urban Repair Routes Toward Cultural Tourism:A Case Study of the Old Town of Jiazhou in Leshan,Sichuan

Cultural tourism is one of the directions of urban transformation and development,but there are still problems such as fragmentation of resource development models.Urban repair,as a comprehensive,systematic,and holistic updating project under the guidance of the problem,is an important way to promote the sustainable development of urban cultural tourism by paying attention to the connotative development of the "stock" of urban scale.Based on the analysis of the western urban cultural renaissance concept,this study closely followed the actual situation of cultural tourism development in the old city of China,re-examined the scale,goals and values of the current urban repair research to find breakthroughs for urban repair,put forward basic routes for the renewal of the built-up area,and analyzed the project practice of the Old Town of Jiazhou,with a view to providing a new "repair" model for promoting cultural tourism in small and medium-sized cities in China.

The Coupling of Landscape Pattern and Landscape Esthetics of Urban Traditional Cultural Tourism Destination: A Case Study of Confucius Temple-Qinhuai River Scenic Area in Nanjing City

Study on the relationship between landscape beauty and ecological beauty is an important scientifi c problem that refl ects the nature of man-land relation, and current academic researches on this topic are most based on a single perspective. Therefore, this paper took the Confucius Temple–Qinhuai River Scenic Area in Nanjing City as a typical case of urban traditional cultural tourism destination, adopted landscape pattern indexes and balanced incomplete block comparison and evaluation method as the evaluation standards of ecological beauty and landscape beauty, and analyzed the coupling characteristics and rules of landscape pattern and landscape aesthetics. The results showed that(a) The overall landscape of the study area had higher fragmentation degree, but different landscape groups were infl uenced by different human interventions, landscape patches showed moderate diversity and heterogeneity, patch area, spatial distribution and spatial aggregation degree showed structural differences.(b) The locals and visitors had aesthetic perception of the study area, but preferred the beautiful natural scenery of the Qinhuai River, as well as the historical buildings and cultural landscapes that contain rich memories of the city.(c) Landscape pattern and landscape aesthetics showed coupled complementation and harmonious coexistence. The Confucius Temple–Qinhuai River Scenic Area has profound historical and cultural background, but it has witnessed gradual loss of cultural characteristics and fast "delocalization" against the background of rapid urbanization. As an urban traditional cultural tourism destination, it carries the responsibility of protecting city memories and inheriting regional cultures.

To Withstand Loneliness in the Process of Urbanization——Research on the Construction and Planning of Metropolitan Suburban Rural Tourism Scenic Areas

Abstract The conflicts between rurality and urbanization,tradition and modernity,industry and environmental resource in the rural tourism have become major difficulties of its sustainable development in China.This paper analyzed the characteristics and difficult situations of metropolitan suburban rural tourism,put forward four kinds of region-city functions in the development of metropolitan suburban rural tourism,and researched on the construction of rural tourism scenic areas in metropolis suburb—"to Withstand Loneliness in the Process of Urbanization"—as the following aspects:the space organization mode,localization,social organization and management,the product organization and spatial planning modes and contents.

Tourism Marketing Strategies for Satellite City against the Background of New Urbanization

Considering the development features of new urbanization, and tourism development conditions of Xinzhou District, Wuhan City, this paper explored the inner integrated point of new urbanization and tourism industry, and on this basis proposed strategies for tourism marketing of satellite city by innovating traditional marketing, and applying new marketing methods, so as to build a high-efficiency, high-coverage marketing network, to promote the development of urban tourism, the integration of industries, and economic strength of satellite city, and to push forward the further implementation of new urbanization.

Dynamic Evaluation on Regional Tourism Competitiveness:Urban Agglomeration of Shandong Peninsula,Eastern China

The article establishes the appraisal index system for entire urban agglomeration and its interior cities individually,concretely including five aspects:driving forces for tourism development,the level of tourism development,tourism impacts,tourism economic connection and tourism contributions of different cities to the whole urban agglomeration.As tourism competitiveness has the characteristics of comprehensiveness,systematicness and dynamicness,the article attempts to apply the structural prediction means of system dynamics to evaluating tourism competitiveness,aiming to provide some research methods and analysis ideas for tourism competitiveness measurement and trends analysis in urban agglomeration.Taking Shandong Peninsula urban agglomeration as the study area,the article simulates and analyzes the tourism competitiveness trend of the whole region and its interior cities from 2005 to 2020,and the result reflects that integrated development and regional combination of tourism are important means to upgrade tourism competitiveness in this region.

城乡等值化视角下旅游驱动乡村治理的理论逻辑与作用机制

乡村旅游是乡村振兴的重要路径,而乡村治理又是乡村振兴的核心内容.通过旅游驱动乡村治理已在实践层面和理论研究中受到持续关注,但是对其理论逻辑和作用机制的探究还有待深化.该文基于城乡等值化视角,分析旅游驱动城乡要素流动改善乡村治理的理论逻辑和作用机制.研究发现:1)乡村旅游能够打破乡村治理的边界,桥接城乡要素的流动,通过促进城乡要素的双向循环流动来推动乡村治理;2)在城乡等值化背景下,乡村旅游通过调整土地、人才、资本、文化、生态、技术等城乡要素的流动状态,在乡村治理层面形成响应,进而助推达成乡村经济、社会、文化、生态、政治等多元治理目标;3)应根据乡村旅游发展实际,将其置于城乡协调发展的整体框架下,旅游驱动乡村治理的积极贡献才能最大地发挥出来.

文化空间理论视角下博物馆对城市旅游发展的影响研究:以北京为例

博物馆作为一种文化空间,在城市旅游发展中扮演重要角色。梳理现有文献可见,相关研究主要从博物馆与城市旅游资源、城市旅游空间、城市旅游公共服务等维度展开。本文基于文化空间理论,从聚集空间、符号空间、社会空间三个层面探讨博物馆作为文化空间的内涵,并提出博物馆对城市旅游发展的三重影响。具体包括:赋能城市旅游资源、产品和产业的显性影响,优化城市旅游空间结构、改善城市人文环境的隐性影响,完善旅游公共服务、塑造城市旅游形象的社会影响。在此基础上,以北京为例,验证了博物馆对城市旅游发展的影响及路径,并提出博物馆参观旅游体验化、博物馆资源文化资本化、博物馆空间场景化、博物馆布局科学化、博物馆公共服务共享化以及博物馆品牌标志化等建议。

数字赋能提升城市旅游绩效机制初探

数字赋能对中国旅游业实现高质量发展起到关键作用。在理论分析数字赋能对旅游业价值重塑与价值创造基础上,本文使用我国城市面板数据,实证检验数字赋能城市旅游绩效的文化赋能、景区赋能和生态赋能机制。研究发现:(1)数字赋能显著提升了城市旅游绩效,并且结果在剔除可能的极端值,变换估计方法下依旧显著;(2)机制检验结果表明数字赋能通过激发以非物质文化遗产为代表的文化资源经济价值、加强以5A级景区为代表的景区资源优势、提升以生态效率为代表的生态价值转换方式促进城市旅游绩效提升;(3)区域异质性的考察发现,中部和西部地区以文化赋能和景区赋能为主,生态赋能的作用在东部和西部地区更为突出。基于上述发现,本文提出加快旅游产业数字化转型、推动非物质文化遗产数字化传播、推进旅游景区数字化改造、利用数字技术扩大优质生态产品供给、充分发挥东中西地区优势等建议。

泰州乡村旅游产业城乡融合建设对策研究

长江经济带旅游业-新型城镇化-生态环境耦合协调的时空动态演进及影响因素研究

以长江经济带11省市为研究对象,借助熵权-TOPSIS法和耦合协调度模型计算其2010-2021年旅游业、新型城镇化、生态环境系统(简称TUE系统)的发展水平和耦合协调度,并用标准差椭圆、地理探测器等分析其演化特征和驱动因素。结果表明:各省区TUE系统发展水平波动上升且空间差异显著,大体呈“三级阶梯状”;TUE耦合状态处于不断变化中,时间上呈平稳上升趋势、空间上呈东部和西北部高、中部和西南部低的“U”型分布格局;标准差椭圆及重心呈“东北-西南”格局,紧缩态势明显;核密度曲线均向右移动,各省区协调逐渐趋优,但省际内部差异明显;TUE系统耦合协调的空间差异受对外开放、市场需求等因子共同影响,交互作用呈双因子增强和非线性增强特征。
