With the rapid development and application of emerging information technologies such as cloud computing,big data,artificial intelligence,5G,satellite communication,and blockchain in urban rail transit,China’s urban rail transit has entered an era of intelligent transformation and upgrading.The development of intelligent systems and the construction of smart urban rail transit have formed a consensus in the industry.The electromechanical system is an important component of urban rail transit engineering,covering power supply stations,vehicles,stations,and lines.The depot and control center are important support for promoting the development of urban rail transit towards informatization and intelligence.However,research on the technical standards for the smart urban rail vehicle-ground integrated electromechanical system has just begun,and a technical standards system has not yet been formed,which cannot better support the electromechanical system.Therefore,it is necessary to conduct research on the technical standards system,propose the common criteria structure and standards list of the standards system,which can provide reference and guidance for the planning and establishment of China’s smart urban rail standards system. 展开更多

Braking of the urban vehicles of public service wastes a large number of engine energy in the condition of starting and stopping frequently. Aiming at the problem, an electro-mechanical braking energy regeneration system was proposed which adopted a high-speed flywheel and a battery to recover the braking energy and achieve the secondary traction for the auxiliary start function. The system strategy was designed and the braking simulation was processed to validate its feasibility. The experiment results show that the system can effectively recover the braking energy, improve the starting performance of the city bus and it can be applied to the engineering. 展开更多

A health status assessment method based on cross entropy and support vector machine(SVM)is proposed for the new urban rail vehicle traction systems.First,an index system for health assessment of the traction system is established,and combined weights of the index layer are obtained via cross entropy.Then,an SVM assessment model considering actual operating data and each status level of the traction system is established.Finally,the model is simulated in Matlab to obtain assessment results.The results indicate that the proposed method can provide the health status information of the traction system intuitively and complete the health status assessment of the traction system of the new urban rail vehicle effectively,by exploiting the traction system’s layered analysis model.The health status can be assessed accurately and reliably by adopting the cross entropy theory and SVM theory. 展开更多

Several civilian vehicles in China operate in urban traffic conditions and have their motor oil changed every 5,000 km.This study investigates the variations in oil properties after servicing at 5,000 km,based on systematic road tests(including a repeated test,a parallel test,and a new vehicle test).The physicochemical properties,changes in components,oxidation stability,detergent‐dispersant performance,and tribological properties of motor oils were analyzed.The results showed that the total acid number(TAN)of oils increased with the operation mileage,by up to 1.41 mgKOH/g.The total base number(TBN)decreased after the road tests were completed,and the decrease was less than 44.6%.The kinematic viscosity(KV)of most oils decreased initially and then stabilized in the middle stage,before starting to increase later in the experiment.The change in KV at 100℃was less than 15.96%.The oxidation onset temperature(OOT)of the oils diminished gradually with the operation mileage.All OOT values of the used oils were higher than 210℃.A spot test indicated that the used oils retained their detergentdispersant performance to an appropriate extent.The four‐ball wear scar diameters and friction coefficient of the used oils did not increase significantly after the road tests were completed.This study can serve as a reference for end‐users when changing motor oils. 展开更多

Relay navigation strategy study on intelligent drive on urban roads

In order to solve navigation problem of intelligent vehicle driving on urban roads and to achieve the navigation in intersection area, intersection transition area and section area. The relay navigation strategy and algorithm can solve the navigation problem of intelligent vehicle driving in typical urban roads such as intersection area, intersection transition area and section area, realizing seamless handover among different typical areas. Bezier curve function model was introduced to different typical areas, which solved the self-adaption recognition problem in different typical areas and revised positional accuracy with the help of cloud computing positioning service. In order to explain the strategy implement, an instance based on the strategy was adopted. Instance analysis indicates that as for the navigation problem in intersection area, intersection transition area and section area, if the relay navigation strategy is utilized, the self-adaption recognition problem in different typical areas can be handled. Based on the relay navigation strategy, the drive of intelligent vehicle on urban roads can effectively solve the self-adaption recognition problem in different typical areas in urban and further solve driving problems of intelligent vehicle of the same category in urban roads. 展开更多
