While Variational Mode Decomposition (VMD) and Empirical Wavelet Transform (EWT) offer valuable support for studying signal components, they also present certain limitations. This article integrates the strengths of both methods and proposes an enhanced approach that integrates VMD into the frequency band division principle of EWT. Initially, the method decomposes the signal using VMD, determining the mode count based on residuals, and subsequently employs EWT decomposition based on this information. This addresses mode aliasing issues in the original method while capitalizing on VMD’s adaptability. Feasibility was confirmed through simulation signals and ultimately applied to noise signals from vibrators. Experimental results demonstrate that the improved method not only resolves EWT frequency band division challenges but also effectively decomposes signal components compared to the VMD method.展开更多

With the development of aircraft hydraulic system to high pressure, high speed and high power ratio, the fluid-structure interaction vibration mechanism of hydraulic pipeline is more complex and the influence of friction coupling on vibration cannot be ignored. The fluid-structure interaction of hydraulic pipeline will lead to system vibration, lower reliability of system operation and even pipeline rupture. Taking a hydraulic pipeline of C919 aircraft wingtip as the research object,a 14-equation model of fluid-structure interaction vibration considering friction coupling effect is established in this paper. The effects of friction and fluid parameters on the pipeline fluid-structure interaction vibration characteristics are studied and verified by experiments. The research results will provide theoretical guidance for the analysis of the pipeline fluid-structure interaction vibration and have important theoretical significance and great engineering value for promoting the localization process of large aircraft.展开更多

The model is universal and can simulate the vibration characteristic of the shell under different states including the states in which PSDP cannot be connected, partially connected, and completely connected to the shunt circuit. The equivalent loss factor and elastic modulus with frequency dependence are proposed to consider the electrical damping effect of resistance shunt circuits. Moreover, the semi-analytical dynamic equation of the cylindrical shell with PSDP is derived by the Lagrange equation. An experimental test is carried out on the cylindrical shell with PSDP to verify the vibration suppression ability of PSDP on the cylindrical shell and the correctness of the proposed model. Furthermore, the parameter analysis shows that determining the appropriate resistance value in the shunt circuit can achieve a good vibration suppression effect.展开更多

Experimental results demonstrate that the improved method not only resolves EWT frequency band division challenges but also effectively decomposes signal components compared to the VMD method.

文摘As the power transmission system of an aircraft,a hydraulic pipeline system is equivalent to the " blood vessel" of the aircraft. The research results will provide theoretical guidance for the analysis of the pipeline fluid-structure interaction vibration and have important theoretical significance and great engineering value for promoting the localization process of large aircraft.

文摘A typical blasting vibration wave is a composite wave, and its attenuation law is affected by the type of dominant wave component. The purpose of the present study is to establish an attenuation equation of the peak particle velocity(PPV),taking into account the attenuation characteristics of P-,S-and R-waves in the blasting vibration wave.Field blasting tests were carried out as a case to specifically apply the proposed equation. In view of the fact that the discrete properties of rock mass will inevitably cause the uncertainty of blasting vibration,we also carried out a probability analysis of PPV uncertainty, and introduced the concept of reliability to evaluate blasting vibration. The results showed that the established attenuation equation had a higher prediction accuracy, and can be considered as a promising equation implemented on more complex sites. The adopted uncertainty analysis method can comprehensively take account of the attenuation law of blasting vibration measured on site and discrete properties of rock masses. The obtained distribution of the PPV uncertainty factor can quantitatively evaluate the reliability of blasting vibration, which is a powerful and necessary supplement to the PPV attenuation equation.

文摘This article investigates the characteristics of shock wave overpressure generated by multi-layer composite charge under different detonation modes.Combining dimensional analysis and the explosion mechanism of the charge,a peak overpressure prediction model for the composite charge under singlepoint detonation and simultaneous detonation was established. The effects of the charge structure and initiation method on the overpressure field characteristics were investigated in AUTODYN simulation. The accuracy of the prediction model and the reliability of the numerical simulation method were subsequently verified in a series of static explosion experiments. The results reveal that the mass of the inner charge was the key factor determining the peak overpressure of the composite charge under single-point detonation. The peak overpressure in the radial direction improved apparently with an increase in the aspect ratio of the charge. The overpressure curves in the axial direction exhibited a multi-peak phenomenon, and the secondary peak overpressure even exceeded the primary peak at distances of 30D and 40D(where D is the charge diameter). The difference in peak overpressure among azimuth angles of 0-90°gradually decreased with an increase in the propagation distance of the shock wave. The coupled effect of the detonation energy of the inner and outer charge under simultaneous detonation improved the overpressure in both radial and axial directions. The difference in peak overpressure obtained from model prediction and experimental measurements was less than 16.4%.

文摘The portal structure is the support equipment in the catenary, which bears the load of contact suspension and support equipment. In practical work, with the change of external forces, the support equipment bears complex and changeable loads,so it has higher requirements for its reliability and safety. In order to study the dynamic characteristics of catenary portal structure on continuous beam of four-way bridge, taking the catenary portal structure on Dshaping four-way bridge as the research object, the portal structure simulation model of bridgenetwork integration was established in Midas Civil. The maximum point of deformation and stress was determined by finite element analysis of catenary hard span equipment, and the frequency and mode of natural vibration of hard span were obtained by modal analysis.Secondly, through the field dynamic stress acquisition test, combined with the results of finite element analysis, the fault location is determined, and the vibration characteristics are analyzed. Finally, based on the results of modal analysis and vibration analysis, the method that the vibration of portal structure beam is affected by structural stiffness and vibration frequency amplitude is proposed. The torsional vibration of the portal structure beam was suppressed by increasing the stiffness of the beam and reducing the vibration conduction between the trolley and the beam, and the hard cross beam was optimized by strengthening the hanging column and the connecting beam and adding diagonal support between the pillar and the portal structure beam.By comparing the values of shear, bending moment, displacement and dynamic stress on the hard span before and after optimization, the amplitude peak after structural optimization is reduced by about 25%,and the application of oblique support and reinforcement of the beam can significantly improve the portal structure vibration.

文摘By considering electromechanical coupling, a unified dynamic model of the cylindrical shell with the piezoelectric shunt damping patch(PSDP) is created. Furthermore, the parameter analysis shows that determining the appropriate resistance value in the shunt circuit can achieve a good vibration suppression effect.

文摘Oceanic front plays a significant role in the ocean vertical mixing and the regulation of air-sea interaction, among others. The western branch of the subarctic front(WSAF)located in the Northwest Pacific has attained lots of attention given its strong intensity and widespread influence on this region. In this study,we take advantage of the merged sea surface temperature(SST)at a high spatial resolution of 0.05°to investigate the characteristics of WSAF.The front detection algorithm that combines the Sobel operator and histogram analysis is adopted. It is advantageous in both preserving the front intensity represented by the SST gradient as well as reducing the detection noise level. We systematically applied this algorithm to the daily SST products for front detection, based on which the WSAF characteristics including its intensity, occurrence of frequency, latitudinal position and coverage area are then extracted.WSAF is mostly located within a small latitude range between 40°N and 41°N with a clear seasonal trend in its intensity that peaks in the winter and troughs in the summer. The seasonal variation of WSAF intensity is almost consistent throughout the temporal period of interest from 2010 to 2018.Similar seasonality is observed for its occurrence of frequency with the winter-summer contrast reaching up to5%.The findings presented here shall help better interpret the WSAF characteristics in the long-term run as well as their impact on the regional weather and climate patterns at high spatial resolution.

文摘We present a statistical investigation of the degree of influence that assumptions made in relation to the mechanical parameters of a pylon have on its ground-induced vibrations. The study is set up by using as a key kinematic variable the displacement at the top of a reference,a stand-alone pylon with a uniform cross-section and fixity at its base.Next, statistics are produced using a dimensionless displacement ratio defined between the‘parental’and the‘subsidiary’cases, the latter defined for the pylon(a)resting on compliant soil,(b)having an attached top mass, and(c)being non-uniform with height.Furthermore, two materials are examined, namely, steel and reinforced concrete(R/C).More specifically, this displacement ratio is independent of the excitation and plays the role of a transfer function between the base and the top of the pylon. Both horizontal and vertical motions are considered, and the equations of motion are solved in the frequency domain. The ensuing statistical analysis is conducted for the following parameter combinations:(a)pylon founded on soft, intermediate, and stiff soil;(b)low, intermediate, and high-mass ratios of the attached mass to the pylon′s mass;(c)a constant and quadratic degree of pylon tapering with height.Spearman correlation coefficients are calculated for all the above combinations to arrive at statistical results that establish validity bounds and quantify the degree of influence of each assumption on the pylon′s response.

文摘Computational fluid dynamics(CFD)and the finite element method(FEM)are used to investigate the wind-driven dynamic response of cantilever traffic signal support structures as a whole.By building a finite element model with the same scale as the actual structure and performing modal analysis,a preliminary understanding of the dynamic properties of the structure is obtained.Based on the two-way fluid-structure coupling calculation method, the wind vibration response of the structure under different incoming flow conditions is calculated, and the vibration characteristics of the structure are analyzed through the displacement time course data of the structure in the crosswind direction and along-wind direction. The results show that the maximum response of the structure increases gradually with the increase of wind speed under 90°wind direction angle, showing a vibration dispersion state, and the vibration response characteristics are following the vibration phenomenon of galloping;under 270°wind direction angle, the maximum displacement response of the structure occurs at the lower wind speed of 5 and 6m/s,and the vibration generated by the structure is vortex vibration at this time;the displacement response of the structure in along-wind direction increaseswith the increase of wind speed. The along-wind displacement response of the structure will increase with increasing wind speed, and the effective wind area and shape characteristics of the structurewill also affect the vibration response of the structure.
文摘A case study of excessive vibration on a motor-compressor system is presented in this paper. After barely two months of operation, the reciprocating compressor motor’s routine monitoring revealed excessive axial vibration amplitude. For this reason, the Operational Modal Analysis(OMA)was carried out in order to identify the pri-mary cause.According to the investigation, one of the harmonic components which was 18 times the motor’s running speed matched with a resonance frequency of 112 Hz.According to OMA study, the motor was vibrating in torsional motion because the compressor’s load had stimulated the entire motor-compressor unit at this reso-nance frequency. The analysis also demonstrates the bulging effect of the motor shaft’s axial vibration on the motor’s endplate.

文摘Based on Kirchhoff plate theory and the Rayleigh-Ritz method, the model for free vibration of rectangular plate with rectangular cutouts under arbitrary elastic boundary conditions is established by using the improved Fourier series in combination with the independent coordinate coupling method(ICCM).The effect of the cutout is taken into account by subtracting the energies of the cutouts from the total energies of the whole plate. The vibration displacement function of the hole domain is based on the coordinate system of the hole domain in this method. From the continuity condition of the vibration displacement function at the cutout, the transition matrix between the two coordinate systems is constructed, and the mass and stiffness matrices are completely obtained. As a result, the calculation is simplified and the computational efficiency of the solution is improved. In this paper, numerical examples and modal experiments are presented to validate the effectiveness of the modeling methods, and parameters related to influencing factors of the rectangular plate are analyzed to study the vibration characteristics.
