An analysis of the influencing factors and mechanism of tourist revisiting willingness by adopting the multiple regressionmodel based on the survey data obtained from 581 valid questionnaires concerning Kaiping Diaolou and Villages reveals that the maininfluencing factors of revisit intention are : tourist spot image, cognitive attitude, tourists' expectation and satisfaction. Of the fourmain factors, tourists' cognitive attitude is the direct influence factor, and the image of the sites and tourists' expectation indirectlyinfluence the revisit intention through tourists' satisfaction. The HIV/AIDS epidemic has grown on an unprecedented scale since it was first recognized, and presently it is considered as a well known global public health crisis. In making the health policy where millions of populations are at risk, it is necessary to understand the knowledge level about HIV/AIDS. So, this study aimed at to investigate the knowledge level about HIV/AIDS among the villagers. Data and necessary information were collected from one hundred villagers of Salmanpur from Comilla district, Bangladesh through a structured questionnaire. The collected data were used for univariate analysis, to carry out the description of the variables;and to justify the total score of knowledge about HIV/AIDS among the respondents, Cronbach’s alpha (α) was calculated. The results revealed that almost all the respondents (92.00%) were ever heard about HIV/AIDS and half of them (51.00%) were known it as a communicable disease. Majority of the respondents (62.00%) believed that it is caused by heterosexual relation as well as sex with HIV positive persons. However, a good number of respondents were found unaware about the major causes and preventive ways of AIDS. Less than half of the respondents (45.00%) had medium knowledge (α = 0.34 - 0.66) and only 36.00% had the enough knowledge about HIV/AIDS. The knowledge level is increasing with the increase of education level, and the respondents who involved in agricultural works are found the lowest knowledge level (47.00%) about HIV/AIDS. The villagers were known about HIV/AIDS but they do not have accurate information about the ways in which AIDS virus can or cannot be transmitted. Therefore, effective programs should be taken to increase the knowledge level about HIV/AIDS among the villagers in Bangladesh. 展开更多

The effective use of land in Northeast China is of great significance for ensuring national food security and regional rural revitalization.In this study,based on the survey data collected from Jilin Province,Northeast China,we analyzed the vacancy rates of rural homesteads in suburban,outer suburban,and remote villages,as well as the withdrawal intention of rural-settled farmers,urbansettled farmers,and farmers with urban and rural dual residency from vacant homesteads.From the perspective of farmers’perceptions,this study constructed a theoretical framework of the influence mechanism of their withdrawal intention and analyzed such mechanism by constructing a structural equation model.The results indicated that:1)rural homestead vacancy rates increased with distance from the village to the city.2)rural-settled farmers showed a low withdrawal intention for vacant rural homesteads,followed by urban and rural dual-residence farmers,and urban-settled farmers showed the highest withdrawal intention.3)the relative importance of the factors influencing withdrawal intention is in the following order:policy awareness>interest perception>living environment perception>family characteristics.Finally,this study discussed the reformation of the homestead system and rural homestead transition in Northeast China,which can provide policy support to increase the potential of cultivated land and promote sustainable rural development and urban-rural coordination. 展开更多

Existing studies of tourists’behaviors of tourism destination focus on place attachment.Although tourists’attachment is related to tourists’emotional experiences at the attractions of a tourism destination(ATDs),the rolethat tourists’attachment styles play in establishing their emotional experiences and behavioral intentions towarddifferent ATD types have not been verified.This study used the Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village as a typical tourismdestination to examine these effects.Based on research on attachment styles,emotional experiences,and behavioral intentions,a conceptual model of the relationships among tourists’attachment styles,emotional experiences of,and behavioral intentions toward ATDs was constructed.The impact of tourists’attachment styles between their emotional experiences of and behavioral intentions toward ATDs was then studied empirically.Theimpact pathways of tourist attachment styles on different ATD types were tested.The results indicate that tourists’emotional experiences of ATDs had no significant or direct impacts on their behavioral intentions in terms of relationship closeness and diversive exploration.Both their emotional experiences of and their behavioral intentionstoward ATDs were affected by the mediating effects of attachment anxiety and avoidance,which were full and partial,respectively.Further,the paths of the mediating effects of tourists’attachment styles on the emotional experiences of and behavioral intentions toward different types of ATDs varied significantly.Tourists’emotion-behaviorpaths when experiencing a TD were clarified,providing a theoretical basis to satisfy their real needs for experiencing ATDs. 展开更多
