Traditional Chinese Medicine in colorectal cancer treatment:a bibliometrics study and visualization analysis via CiteSpace

Objective:To evaluate the current state of research and areas of interest for traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)in the field of colorectal cancer treatment.Methods:Related papers published between January 1,2012,and November 27,2021,were found using the Web of Science Core Collection Science Citation Index Expanded.Using CiteSpace's network map generation capability,we then determined the top writers,organizations,countries,keywords,co-cited writers,journals,references,and research trends.Results:This investigation yielded a total of 336 relevant papers.China is the most productive country.Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine is the leading institution.The journal with the most popularity and publishing volume is Evidence-based Complementary and Alternative Medicine.The author with the most citations and centrality is Lin JM.The terms"epithelial-mesenchymal transition,""cell cycle arrest,""apoptosis,"and"autophagy"are highly frequent and have a high betweenness centrality.Conclusion:According to the results,research on natural products,traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)extracts,and the molecular mechanisms of TCM chemical constituents constitutes the primary focus within TCM cancer treatment investigations.In recent years,there has been a surge of interest in exploring the role of gut microbiota in TCM chemical constituents research,particularly in its ability to induce apoptosis and autophagy in tumor cells,thereby suppressing tumor cell proliferation,metastasis,and invasion.However,due to the intricate composition of TCM and existing technical limitations,the underlying principles guiding TCM's efficacy in treating colorectal cancer remain unclear and warrant further investigation.

Dynamic Visualization Analysis of China's Urban Greenway Research Based on CiteSpace

Greenway is an organic part of urban ecological network system,and its construction is closely related to urban ecological civilization.Urban greenway not only provides elastic space for high-density cities,but also promotes the construction of low-carbon and resilient cities,thus constantly creating ideal living environment.Through visualization analysis of 1,315 literatures on China's urban greenway included in CNKI from 1986 to the first half of 2022,the paper analyzed the published papers,research strength,research hotspots and frontier trend of China's urban greenway research based on CiteSpace,in order to provide a reference for future research of urban greenway in China.

Visualization analysis of lecithin in drugs based on electrochemiluminescent single gold microbeads

Fast and high-throughput determination of drugs is a key trend in clinical medicine.Single particles have increasingly been adopted in a variety of photoanalytical and electroanalytical applications,and microscopic analysis has been a hot topic in recent years,especially for electrochemiluminescence(ECL).This paper describes a simple ECL method based on single gold microbeads to image lecithin.Lecithin reacts to produce hydrogen peroxide under the successive enzymatic reaction of phospholipase D and choline oxidase.ECL was generated by the electrochemical reaction between a luminol analog and hydrogen peroxide,and ECL signals were imaged by a camera.Despite the heterogeneity of single gold microbeads,their luminescence obeyed statistical regularity.The average luminescence of 30 gold microbeads is correlated with the lecithin concentration,and thus,a visualization method for analyzing lecithin was established.Calibration curves were constructed for ECL intensity and lecithin concentration,achieving detection limits of 0.05 m M lecithin.This ECL imaging platform based on single gold microbeads exhibits outstanding advantages,such as high throughput,versatility and low cost,and holds great potential in disease diagnostics,environmental monitoring and food safety.

Information visualization analysis on Advances in Psychological Science:1983-2014

Objective： To describe the revolution and research status of Advances in Psychological Science. Methods： A total of 3060 articles published in Advances in Psychological Science from 1983 to 2014 were analyzed with the information visualization method using Citespace software from the aspects of pub- lications, cited frequency and downloads, funding, organizations, authors and keywords. Results： The results showed that the amount of literature published annually had an upward tendency, and 49.4% of the papers were supported by national or provincial projects. Institutions such as the Chinese Academy of Sciences （CAS） and the normal universities were rated in the forefront of the sci- entific research output. Xiting Huang, Hong Li and Yuejia Luo were at the top of the list of prolific authors. Conclusions： A new pattern of cooperative development of the theory and application in the field of psychological research is forming.

Visualization analysis of the study of fund-sponsored clinical nursing papers

Objective： The aims of this study were to understand the status quo of authors, collaborations between institutions, research hotspots, and research frontiers of fund-sponsored clinical nursing papers and to provide a reference for Chinese scholars to conduct clinical nursing studies in the future.Methods： The visualization software CiteSpace was used to analyze fund-sponsored clinical nursing papers published between 2012 and 2016 in 12 core journals of nursing.Results： In the clinical nursing field, there are many co叩erative author groups; however, the collaborations between institu加 not close and exist mainly within the same province or city. High-frequency keywords have revealed the four clinical nursing research hotspots of population, diseases, nursing intervention, and others. Chinese medicine nursing, prevention, treatment and nursing, and new technology-aided nursing of ventilator-associated pneumonia are the study frontiers of clinical nursing.Conclusions： Clinical nursing studies are rich in content and cover a wide range of areas, and their hotspots and frontiers are closely related to the requirements of clinical nursing. Collaborations across regions, provinces, and cities are not adequate; there is an urgent need to strengthen the cross-regional exchanges and collaborations to promote the further development of clinical nursing.

A Study on Chinese Waterfront Landscape Based on CiteSpace V Visualization Analysis

Taking 457 papers in core journals of Chinese waterfront landscape included in CNKI database from 2000 to the fi rst half of 2020 as samples,visualization analysis of the number of papers,research institutions,research authors,key words and spatial and temporal distribution of domestic research papers on waterfront landscape in the past 20 years were performed to grasp the dynamic process of the development of domestic waterfront landscape research and clarify the development context,so as to provide academic information with scientific basis and valuable theoretical reference for waterfront landscape related research in China.The results showed that the researches on domestic waterfront landscape presented a downward trend from prosperity to decline;research forces were mainly concentrated in colleges and universities,and most research institutions did not form cooperative relations with authors,and were still in a relatively isolated situation.At present,the research hotspots and frontiers of waterfront landscape in China mainly focus on urban waterfront,urban historical landscape,ecology,cultural landscape and plants landscape.

Visualization Analysis for China’s Business Schools Accreditation Studies Based on Knowledge Mapping

The aim of the paper is to identify and explore leading thematic areas within the research field related to Business Schools Accreditation in China.Based on data from the China National Knowledge Infrastructure(CNKI)database,the keywords frequency was analyzed,and the theory of mapping knowledge domain was used to visualize the keywords co-occurrence network to make further research of the heated issues.The findings indicate that the research scope involved in business school accreditation research is broad,and research content focus on teaching,management,talent cultivation.According to the results of keywords co-occurrence analysis of different stages,AACSB,AACSB Accreditation,international accreditation,business school,AOL,internationalization,accreditation are the most important issues to business school research in China,given their position and role in the research network.The paper generates the added value mainly from the point of view of theory development.

Visualization Analysis of Research on Student Classroom Engagement by Knowledge Mapping

The aim of the paper is to identify and explore leading development situation within the research field related to student classroom engagement.Using knowledge mapping tools,this paper conducted the visualization analysis on internationalliteraturein relation to student classroom engagementfrom the Web of Science databases.By combination of the statistical data and visualizationmapping,this paper studied on the research relationship networks and status for the co-authors'countries/institutions,co-citation documents/journalsand co-occurring keywordsbased on the sample datafromliterature.The results indicate that the number ofpublished papershasincreased obviously and expanded graduallysince 2000.Main countries and institutions of researches were the UnitedStates,Australia,United Kingdom,Canada and China in order,and these countries had intense collaboration.The theoretical basis of the research come from education and teaching,psychology.The hotspots of researches fromthe global literature coveredvarious fields including achievement,motivation,behavior,education,performance.As a result of the multidisciplinary integration,many relevant internationalresearch constantly expanded the research scopes,which promoted the combination and development of theories.

Hot Spots and Frontiers of Research on Degenerative Lumbar Spondylolisthesis in China-Visualization Analysis Based on Citespace

Objective:Through the presentation and visual analysis of the Citespace knowledge map,the future research hotspots and trends of domestic research on degenerative lumbar spondylolisthesis are predicted.Methods:By searching the relevant literature on"degenerative lumbar spondylolisthesis"included in the CNKI database from the establishment of the database to January 1,2021,the annual publication volume,fund projects,research authors,research institutions,and research of the included literature For hotspots and other aspects,visual analysis was carried out with the help of Citespace software.Results:(1)A total of 266 related documents were included,of which 27 were published at the end of 2020;(2)The most funded projects are the National Natural Science Foundation of China(9 projects)and the National Science and Technology Support Program(5 projects);(3)In terms of author analysis,Zhu Liguo(16 articles),Yu Jie(13 articles),and Gao Chunyu(8 articles)rank the top three in terms of author analysis;(4)In terms of research institutions,Wangjing Hospital of China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences(17 articles),Henan University of Chinese Medicine(4 articles),and Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine(4 articles)were the top 3 research institutions in terms of publication volume;(5)The keyword clustering label was"degenerative lumbar spondylolisthesis","lumbar spine","lumbar spondylolisthesis","degenerative lumbar spondylolisthesis","clinical observation"and"tuina".Conclusion:Research on"degenerative lumbar spondylolisthesis"has gradually received widespread attention,but the amount of publications is still relatively small;relevant domestic researchers and research institutions have formed a certain degree of influence across the country,but large-scale national cooperation research is still scarce,and strengthening academic exchanges and cooperation is still an important direction for researchers and research institutions in this field in the future.The research direction of lumbar spinal stenosis caused by degenerative lumbar spondylolisthesis will be a new direction and entry point for the study of degenerative lumbar spondylolisthesis in recent years.

Data Visualization Analysis Based on Explainable Artificial Intelligence:A Survey

With the rapid development of computer hardware and big data processing technology,the bottleneck of intelligent analysis of massive data has changed from“how to deal with massive data quickly”to“how to mine valuable information quickly and effectively from massive data”.Visualization and visualization analysis based on human visual perception characteristics,combined with data analysis and human-computer interaction and other technologies,use visual charts to deconstruct the knowledge and rules contained in complex data.This technology runs through the whole life cycle of data science,known as the last kilometer in the field of big data intelligence,and has achieved remarkable results in many big data application analysis scenarios.Traditional visualization analysis is extremely dependent on the user’s frequent active participation in the whole life cycle of visualization analysis,including data preparation,data conversion,visualization mapping,visual rendering,user interaction,visual analysis and other stages,which require high professional skills of users and low intelligence of the system.Therefore,the traditional visualization analysis mode and systems have the challenges of high threshold of visualization analysis,high cost of data preparation,high latency of interaction response,and low efficiency of interaction mode.Therefore,this paper introduces the application,challenges in visualization based on explainable AI.

Bibliometric analysis of research in epilepsy and comorbid depression from 2014 to 2023

BACKGROUND Epilepsy and depression have complicated bidirectional relationships.Our study aimed to explore the field of epilepsy comorbid with depression in a bibliometric perspective from 2014-2023.AIM To improve our understanding of epilepsy and depression by evaluating the relationship between epilepsy and depression,bibliometric analyses were performed.METHODS Epilepsy and depression-related publications from the last decade were retrieved from the Web of Science Core Collection.We conducted bibliometric and visual analysis using VOSviewer and CiteSpace,examining authorships,countries,institutions,journals of publication,co-citations of references,connections between keywords,clusters of keywords,and keywords with citation bursts.RESULTS Over the past ten years,we collected 1045 research papers focusing on the field of epilepsy and comorbid depression.Publications on epilepsy and depression have shown a general upward trend over time,though with some fluctuations.The United States,with 287 articles,and the University of Melbourne,contributing 34 articles,were the top countries and institutions,respectively.In addition,in the field of epilepsy and depression,Professor Lee,who has published 30 articles,was the most contributing author.The hot topics pay attention to the quality of life in patients with epilepsy and depression.CONCLUSION We reported that quality of life and stigma in patients with epilepsy comorbid with depression are possible future hot topics and directions in the field of epilepsy and depression research.

Research Characteristics of Thermal Comfort of Urban Block Landscape Based on Knowledge Graph Analysis

The landscape environment of urban blocks plays a significant role in improving the comfort of urban thermal environment and promoting green and high-quality development.The 342 papers related to the research on the impact of urban block landscape environment on thermal comfort in China,collected by CNKI(China National Knowledge Infrastructure)from 2002 to 2022,are used as the research object.Through bibliometric statistical analysis,LLR algorithm,and cluster analysis,the current research status of the impact of urban block landscape environment on thermal comfort in China is analyzed and processed,and its external characteristics are identified.Using the information visualization software CiteSpace,the research topics in the field of the impact of urban block landscape environment on thermal comfort are presented in the form of knowledge graphs.Through co-occurrence analysis of keywords and trend of word frequency changes,the development trends of research hotspots and cutting-edge fields of the impact of urban block landscape environment on thermal comfort are determined,hoping to provide reference for future research in this field.

Visualization analysis of rainfall-induced landslides hazards based on remote sensing and geographic information system-an overview

In recent years,RS and GIS technologies have played an increasingly important role in various aspects of rainfall induced landslide research.In order to systematically understand their application situation,this paper extensively used various visualization analysis technologies for in-depth analysis of 1,161 documents collected by the WOS data platform in the past 27 years by combining quantitative and qualitative methods.Then,this article focuses on sub domain analysis from four aspects:landslide detection and monitoring,prediction models,sensitivity mapping,and risk assessment.The study found that the number of literature in thisfield has steadily increased and is expected to continue to rise.This literature review has attracted widespread attention from the academic community,but it challenging to meet research needs.Frequent and effective cooperationis between countries,institutions,and authors is very beneficial for promoting progress in thisfield.The future development direction is a new intelligent hybrid model that integrates multiple research methods.This study can provide researchers in thisfield with the core research force,hot topic evolution,and future development trends of future rainfall-induced landslides and contribute to landslide prevention and control decision-making and achieving the United Nations’sustainable development goals.

Large-scale spatial data visualization method based on augmented reality

Background A task assigned to space exploration satellites involves detecting the physical environment within a certain space.However,space detection data are complex and abstract.These data are not conducive for researchers'visual perceptions of the evolution and interaction of events in the space environment.Methods A time-series dynamic data sampling method for large-scale space was proposed for sample detection data in space and time,and the corresponding relationships between data location features and other attribute features were established.A tone-mapping method based on statistical histogram equalization was proposed and applied to the final attribute feature data.The visualization process is optimized for rendering by merging materials,reducing the number of patches,and performing other operations.Results The results of sampling,feature extraction,and uniform visualization of the detection data of complex types,long duration spans,and uneven spatial distributions were obtained.The real-time visualization of large-scale spatial structures using augmented reality devices,particularly low-performance devices,was also investigated.Conclusions The proposed visualization system can reconstruct the three-dimensional structure of a large-scale space,express the structure and changes in the spatial environment using augmented reality,and assist in intuitively discovering spatial environmental events and evolutionary rules.

Visual Analysis of Application and Development Trend of Agarwood Based on CiteSpace

The Chinese traditional medicine,agarwood,is a commonly used medicine for regulating qi,which has many clinical applications because of its unique curative effect.In this study,CiteSpace software was used to visually analyze the application and development trend of agarwood in the literature from CNKI website in the period of 2007-2022.The analysis results showed that the research on agarwood has basically formed core groups of authors,and universities and their affiliated hospitals are main publishing institutions.Moreover,in this study,several research directions of agarwood were also summarized,including clinical research,chemical composition,structural identification and quality standards,showing that agarwood has rich and flexible application prospects in many aspects.On this basis,several suggestions were put forward:strengthening the cooperation between universities and research institutes and building a scientific research cooperation community,and promoting the combination of clinical research and laboratory research.

Measurement Analysis and Evaluation of Twenty-Five Years of Mathematics Education Research in China:Visual Econometric Analysis Based on CiteSpace Knowledge Mapping(1999-2024)

Since the new century,China’s mathematics curriculum reform in basic education has continued to move forward in attempts and explorations,presenting many new changes,trends,movements,and developments.Sorting out,analyzing,and summarizing the achievements,experiences,problems,and challenges in this journey are conducive to providing insights for the reform and development of the Chinese basic education mathematics curriculum in the new era.This paper analyses the research on mathematics education in China(1999-2024)using the visual measurement of CiteSpace knowledge mapping,hoping to provide directions for the future of mathematics education in China.

A bibliometrics visualization analysis and hotspots prediction for natural product on osteoporosis research from 2000 to 2021

Aim The purpose of this study was to explore the application status of natural products in osteoporosis research and explore its research hotspots and future research directions by analyzing the literature in the field of natural products therapy for osteoporosis from 2000 to 2021.Method Publications on natural products in osteoporosis research were extracted from the Web of Science core collection database.Bibliometrics package in R language,VOSviewer and CiteSpace software were used for visualization analysis.Result From 2000 to 2021,the number of articles on natural products in osteoporosis research was 1596,and the total number of articles increased rapidly.China was the driving force in this field,and the top-contributing institution was Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine.Most publications were published in the Journal of Ethnopharmacology.While J.K.Xu and Y.Zhang were the most cited and co-cited author.Countries,research institutions and authors in different regions cooperate closely.The hot topics included osteoporosis,differentiation,expression,in vitro,cell,osteogenesis and osteogenesis were the research frontiers in recent years.Conclusion This study conducted a bibliometric visualization analysis on the research status,research hotspots and development trend of natural products in osteoporosis for the first time.In addition,this paper also puts forward suggestions and prospects for the future development of this field,which will help researchers to open up new directions for future research in this field.

Visualization Analysis of CRISPR Gene-editing Knowledge Map Based on CiteSpace

CRISPR is an adaptive immune defense system found in bacteria and archaea that is resistant to heterologous invasive genetic material.Later studies showed that the CRISPR system can be used for gene editing.This study used the Web of Science database as a search object,then visually analyzed the literature related to CRISPR gene-editing technology with CiteSpaceV.The results show that publications had increased year by year.USA ranked first in terms of publications,China is second,but the centrality is very low.Doudna JA and Zhang F have made outstanding contributions.There are close connections between the internal institutions of the various states,but there are few links between the states.The hot spot and frontier are the application of CRISPR in animals,plants,detection,diagnosis,and clinical treatment.

CiteSpace-Based Metrical and Visualization Analysis of Tai Chi Chuan Analgesia

Objective:The objective of the study was to explore the research status and hot topics that are most studied about in Tai Chi Chuan(TCC)analgesia through a metrical and visualization analysis of the literature and provide some references for the experimental research on the analgesic effect of TCC and its clinical applications.Methods:The literature on TCC analgesia was collected from the Web of Science database,and the metrical and visualization analysis was performed using the Cite Space.5.6.R4 software in terms of publication outputs,countries,institutions,keywords,highly cited articles,and highly cited journals.Results:The number of annual publications gradually increased over time.The five research groups presented stable cooperative relationships and more publications.The authors ranked as top 1 were from America rather than China,which has more publications.The most common keywords were Tai Chi,randomized controlled trial,older adults,exercise,pain,low back pain,quality of life,management,etc.The literature on knee osteoarthritis and fibromyalgia had the highest citation frequency.The journals with high citation frequency included Cochrane Database System Review,Pain,and Plos One.Conclusions:Increasing attention has been paid to TCC analgesia.Randomized controlled trials,older adults,low back pain,and quality of life were found to be most studied in this field.Investigating clinical efficacy and conducting meta-analyses could be a promising direction in the future.The international cooperation and literature quality of TCC analgesia should be further strengthened.

Multimodal sentiment analysis for social media contents during public emergencies

Purpose:Nowadays,public opinions during public emergencies involve not only textual contents but also contain images.However,the existing works mainly focus on textual contents and they do not provide a satisfactory accuracy of sentiment analysis,lacking the combination of multimodal contents.In this paper,we propose to combine texts and images generated in the social media to perform sentiment analysis.Design/methodology/approach:We propose a Deep Multimodal Fusion Model(DMFM),which combines textual and visual sentiment analysis.We first train word2vec model on a large-scale public emergency corpus to obtain semantic-rich word vectors as the input of textual sentiment analysis.BiLSTM is employed to generate encoded textual embeddings.To fully excavate visual information from images,a modified pretrained VGG16-based sentiment analysis network is used with the best-performed fine-tuning strategy.A multimodal fusion method is implemented to fuse textual and visual embeddings completely,producing predicted labels.Findings:We performed extensive experiments on Weibo and Twitter public emergency datasets,to evaluate the performance of our proposed model.Experimental results demonstrate that the DMFM provides higher accuracy compared with baseline models.The introduction of images can boost the performance of sentiment analysis during public emergencies.Research limitations:In the future,we will test our model in a wider dataset.We will also consider a better way to learn the multimodal fusion information.Practical implications:We build an efficient multimodal sentiment analysis model for the social media contents during public emergencies.Originality/value:We consider the images posted by online users during public emergencies on social platforms.The proposed method can present a novel scope for sentiment analysis during public emergencies and provide the decision support for the government when formulating policies in public emergencies.
