It is assumed that pedestrians prefer to walk a path with the lowest instantaneous travel cost from origin to destination, under the consideration of the current traffic conditions and the tendency to avoid a high-density region and an obstruction. An algorithm for the pedestrian flow model is based on a cellcentered finite volume method for a scalar conservation law equation, a fast sweeping method for an Eikonal-type equation and a second-order TVD Runge-Kutta method for the time integration on unstructured meshes. Numerical results demonstrate the effectiveness of the algorithm. It is verified that density distribution of pedestrian flow is influenced by the position of the obstruction and the path-choice behavior of pedestrians.展开更多
Objective:To study the application effects of teach-back method combined with WeChat education in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD).Methods:Convenience sampling was used to select 103 patients ...Objective:To study the application effects of teach-back method combined with WeChat education in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD).Methods:Convenience sampling was used to select 103 patients with COPD hospitalized in the department of respiratory medicine of a tertiary-level hospital from March to June 2021 as study subjects.Randomized grouping was carried out using the random number table method.The routine care was given in the control group,and the teach-back method combined with WeChat tutorials on the basis of routine care was applied in the intervention group.In the follow-up three months after discharge,the changes in pulmonary function,self-care ability,and quality of life of patients in the two groups were observed and compared.Results:After the intervention,the pulmonary function indexes of both groups improved significantly,and the improvement effect was more significant in the intervention group(P<0.05);after the intervention,the self-care ability scores of the patients in the intervention group were significantly higher than those of the control group(P<0.05);the quality-of-life scores of the patients in the two groups decreased at 3 months after discharge,and the scores of the patients in the intervention group were significantly lower than those of the patients in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:The teach-back method combined with WeChat education can effectively improve the pulmonary function,self-care ability,and quality of life of patients with COPD.展开更多

First, considering the structure of the obstacles and symmetrical mechanism of the robot prototype, four basic subactions were abstracted to fulfill full-path kinematic tasks. Then, a multi-rigid-body dynamic model of the robot was built with Lagrange equation, whil^e a multi-flexible-body dynamic model of a span of lin~ was obtained by combining finite element method (FEM), modal synthesis method and Lagrange equation. The two subsystem models were coupled under rolling along no-obstacle segment and overcoming obstacle poses, and these simulations of three subactions along different spans of line were performed in ADMAS. The simulation results, including the coupling vibration parameters and driving moment of joint motors, show the dynamic performances of the robot along ftexibile obstructive working path: in flexible obstructive working environment, the robot can fulfill the preset motion goals; it responses slower in more flexible path; the fluctuation of robot as well as driving moment of the corresponding joint in startup and brake region is greater than that in rigid environment; the fluctuation amplitude increases with increasing working environment flexibility.展开更多

The nutritional status is closely related to the prognosis of patients with COPD and nutritional support has played an important role in the treatment of COPD. In order to provide proper nutritional support, this article reviews the progress of nutritional support in COPD from the causes of malnutrition, energy demand assessment, assessment of nutritional risk and nutritional support methods. Moreover, this review specially reviewed the application of traditional Chinese medicine diet.展开更多
