Sairme mineral water, one of the famous mineral waters in Georgia, is renowned for its exceptional healing properties. The distinctiveness and therapeutic benefits of the naturally sourced mineral water, known as “Sairme”, stem from its rich array of microelements, notably including iron and manganese. Since 1948, the bottling of Sairme mineral water has been a prominent activity. Named after the Sairme deposit, this mineral water is packaged in various formats to cater to diverse consumer preferences. The bottling process involves transporting the mineral water from wells to the bottling plant through pipelines. Prior to bottling, the mineral water undergoes meticulous processing stages in adherence to current Georgian and international regulations. This process ensures that the concentration of trace elements in the bottled water is minimized, maintaining its purity and quality. Given the importance of preserving the microelements present in bottled mineral water, our research is dedicated to optimizing the technological process. Our objective is to safeguard the valuable microelements while ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety in the final product. 展开更多

The cation exchange and the chemical weathering are two important processes for sedi-ments to buffer the acidification of surface water. In this paper, for sediments these two processeshave been studied. The relationship between BFC of sediments and ANC of the surface waters andthe weathering characteristics of sediments were discussed. The buffering effect and mechanism of sedi-ments against acidic deposition have also been studied. The results show that BFC of sediments arepositively correlative to ANC of the surface waters. the chemical weathering rate of sediments can beexpressed as R=k×[H ̄ +] ̄m. 展开更多

Objective Most porphyry Cu deposits (PCDs) were formed in association with subduction-related calc-alkaline magmas, which occurred widely in magmatic arcs worldwide. A widely accepted model is that such deposits were formed from hydrothermal fluids exsolved from hydrous, high oxygen fugacity, sulfur-rich arc magmas, derived from a mantle wedge metasomatized by subduction-slab fluids. Recent studies have documented that such deposits may also occur in post-collisional settings, e.g., the Gangdese porphyry Cu belts in Tibet. The formation of such PCDs is very difficult to be explained by the classic PCDs model, which results in an alternative model to be proposed to interpret the genesis of PCDs in such settings. In this alternative model, metals and sulfur of the post-collisional PCDs were generally thought to be derived from a subduction-modified thickened lower crust, rather than a metasomatized mantle wedge. However, our detailed analysis suggests that the sources of metals and sulfur for the PCDs in post-collisional settings still cannot be well explained by the lower-crust melting model. 展开更多

Based on analysis of field survey, drilling and seismic data, the formation and evolution process of Deyang-Anyue erosion rift trough in Sichuan Basin was reconstructed, and exploration areas were divided and evaluated. The results show that:(1) Dengying Formation in and around Deyang-Anyue erosion rift trough varies widely in sedimentary characteristics. The Dengying Formation in the northern part of the erosion rift trough developed deep-water sediments, the Dengying Formation in the northern part of the basin varied gradually from basin to slope, platform margin, and restricted platform, and the Dengying Formation in the middle and southern parts of the trough developed carbonate platform facies.(2) Deyang-Anyue erosion rift trough is formed by extensional rift and karst erosion jointly, the north section of the erosion rift trough is mainly the product of tensile rift, while the middle and south sections are formed by erosion in multi-episodes of Tongwan period.(3) Based on the segmented origins of the erosion rift trough, Dengying Formation in and around it is divided into three exploration fields: lithologic mound and beach bodies at the northern platform margin of the basin, karst mound and beach bodies in the central platform, and karst residual mounds in the central southern trough of the basin, among them, the karst residual mounds in the central southern trough of the basin are a new frontier for natural gas exploration in the basin, and the lithologic mound and beach bodies at the northern platform margin are a new position for increasing the reserves of trillions of cubic meters of natural gas resources in the basin. 展开更多

Finished drinking water usually contains some residual aluminum. The deposition of residual aluminum in distribution systems and potential release back to the drinking water could significantly influence the water quality at consumer taps.A preliminary analysis of aluminum content in cast iron pipe corrosion scales and loose deposits demonstrated that aluminum deposition on distribution pipe surfaces could be excessive for water treated by aluminum coagulants including polyaluminum chloride(PACl).In this work, the deposition features of different aluminum species in PACl were investigated by simulated coil-pipe test, batch reactor test and quartz crystal microbalance with dissipation monitoring. The deposition amount of non-polymeric aluminum species was the least, and its deposition layer was soft and hydrated, which indicated the possible formation of amorphous Al(OH)3.Al(13) had the highest deposition tendency, and the deposition layer was rigid and much less hydrated, which indicated that the deposited aluminum might possess regular structure and self-aggregation of Al(13)could be the main deposition mechanism. While for Al(30),its deposition was relatively slower and deposited aluminum amount was relatively less compared with Al(13).However,the total deposited mass of Al(30) was much higher than that of Al(13),which was attributed to the deposition of particulate aluminum matters with much higher hydration state.Compared with stationary condition, stirring could significantly enhance the deposition process, while the effect of pH on deposition was relatively weak in the near neutral range of 6.7 to 8.7. 展开更多

An empirical simulation method to simulate the possible position of shallow rainfall-induced landslides in China has been developed. This study shows that such a simulation may be operated in real-time to highlight those areas that are highly prone to rainfall-induced landslides on the basis of the landslide susceptibility index and the rainfall intensity-duration(I-D) thresholds.First, the study on landslide susceptibility in China is introduced. The entire territory has been classified into five categories, among which high-susceptibility regions(Zone 4-'High' and 5-'Very high') account for 4.15%of the total extension of China.Second, rainfall is considered as an external triggering factor that may induce landslide initiation.Real-time satellite-based TMPA3B42 products may provide real rainfall spatial and temporal patterns, which may be used to derive rainfall duration time and intensity.By using a historical record of 60 significant past landslides, the rainfall I-D equation has been calibrated. The rainfall duration time that may trigger a landslide has resulted between 3 hours and 45 hours. The combination of these two aspects can be exploited to simulate the spatiotemporal distribution of rainfall-induced landslide hazards when rainfall events exceed the rainfall I-D thresholds, where the susceptibility category is 'high' or 'very high'.This study shows a useful tool to be part of a systematic landslide simulation methodology, potentially providing useful information for a theoretical basis and practical guide for landslide prediction and mitigation throughout China. 展开更多
