[Objectives]To make safety evaluation of water environment carrying capacity of five cities in Ningxia based on ecological footprint of water resources.[Methods]With the help of the grey relational model,15 indicators were selected from the natural,economic,and social aspects,and the most influential factors in the three fields were selected.Based on the concept of ecological priority,the water resources carrying capacity of the five cities in Ningxia from 2010 to 2019 was calculated with the help of the water resources ecological footprint model.Then,the indicators of the water resources ecological footprint model were coupled with the existing indicators to establish a comprehensive evaluation indicator system.Finally,the changes of the water environment carrying capacity of the five cities in Ningxia were analyzed with the help of the principal component analysis(PCA).[Results]The ecological pressure of water resources and the ecological deficit of water resources in the five cities were relatively large.Specifically,Yinchuan City had the most obvious deficit of water resources but good carrying capacity;Zhongwei City had a large ecological deficit of water resources,poor carrying capacity,and the largest ecological pressure index of water resources;Guyuan City had low water resources ecological deficit,water resources ecological carrying capacity and water resources ecological pressure index.[Conclusions]Through the analysis of the coupling indicator system,it can be seen that the water environment carrying capacity of the five cities is in an upward trend,indicating that the water environment in each region tends to become better. 展开更多

Geological conditions of Junggar Basin are analyzed in this study,it is located in the northwest arid areas of China with a vulnerable supergene eco-environment.Based on the relationship between underground water and ecological environment,natural geological conditions are combined to classify ecosystem types in the study area,space-time evolution of its eco-environment in three periods is discussed:1990,2000 and 2009;development and utilization of water resources in Junggar Basin as well as its eco-environment evolution laws are taken to analyze problems brought by eco-environment changes,focusing on the following points:A.decreasing area of permanent glacier in mountainous ecosystem,increasing volume of river runoff,reducing capacity of mountainous ecosystem in conserving water resources;B.decreasing underground water,overflowing belt shifting northwards;C.shrinking lake area;D.degrading natural vegetation;E.expanding area of cultivated land and construction land;F.more cultivated land influenced by salinization,showing an increasing trend between 1990 and 2000,maintaining stable between 2000 and 2009,which implies that traditional agricultural irrigation method has brought significant influence on the utilization of water resources,and resulted in the shifting area of salinization. 展开更多

The Badain Jaran Desert is the third largest desert in China,covering an area of 50000 km2.It lies in Northwest China,where the arid and rainless natural environment has a great impact on the climate,environment,and human living conditions.Based on the results of 1∶250000 regional hydrogeological surveys and previous researches,this study systematically investigates the circulation characteristics and resource properties of the groundwater as well as the evolution of the climate and ecological environment since the Quaternary in the Badain Jaran Desert by means of geophysical exploration,hydrogeological drilling,hydrogeochemistry,and isotopic tracing.The results are as follows.(1)The groundwater in the Badain Jaran Desert is mainly recharged through the infiltration of local precipitation and has poor renewability.The groundwater recharge in the desert was calculated to be 1.8684×10^(8)m^(3)/a using the water balance method.(2)The Badain Jaran Desert has experienced four humid stages since the Quaternary,namely MIS 13-15,MIS 5,MIS 3,and the Early‒Middle Holocene,but the climate in the desert has shown a trend towards aridity overall.The average annual temperature in the Badain Jaran Desert has significantly increased in the past 50 years.In detail,it has increased by about 2.5℃,with a higher rate in the south than in the north.Meanwhile,the precipitation amount has shown high spatial variability and the climate has shown a warming-drying trend in the past 50 years.(3)The lakes in the hinterland of the Badain Jaran Desert continuously shrank during 1973‒2015.However,the vegetation communities maintained a highly natural distribution during 2000‒2016,with the vegetation cover has increased overall.Accordingly,the Badain Jaran Desert did not show any notable expansion in that period.This study deepens the understanding of groundwater circulation and the climate and ecological evolution in the Badain Jaran Desert.It will provide a scientific basis for the rational exploitation of the groundwater resources and the ecological protection and restoration in the Badain Jaran Desert. 展开更多

On the bases of the field survey and a large number of testing data, we process the qualitative and quantitative assessment of the mine environment in the mid south of Shandong Province using the following grade Ⅰ factors:the surface subsidence in mining area, the three wastes of mine industries, the pollution sources, the surface water pollution, the underground water pollution and the air pollution. By means of emitting factor judgment and water quality indexes, we locate pollution sources, main pollutants, pollution type and pollution grade in the study area. Using the MAPGIS, we draw a zonality map of the mine environment. This paper attempts to offer a concrete example, including valuable assessment method, data and conclusion, for the assessment of mine environment from the integrated assessment of mineral resources and mine environment. This paper examines the current status of water resource management and conservation in China,along with strategies to address the water resource crisis.Given the current situation,the paper highlights issues such as incomplete legal mechanisms,limited environmental awareness among enterprises,and insufficient government investment.To ad-dress these challenges,the paper proposes a series of strategies,including improving the ecological environment,enhanc-ing production techniques,strengthening management systems,rationalizing water resource allocation,and implementing water-saving measures in both industrial and agricultural production.These strategies serve to achieve sustainable water resource management,reduce water pollution,and effectively tackle the pressing water resource issues faced in China currently. 展开更多

By constructing evaluation indicator system of sustainable land use of Tibet from three aspects of ecological environment, economic development, resources and social advancement, this article studies the following contents respectively in two dimensions of time and space: the changes of sustainable land use of Tibet in recent 20 years and spatial characteristics of sustainable land use of Tibet in 2002. The following conclusions can be drawn from evaluation results .① With regard to com- prehensive evaluation value of sustainable land use, the trend of Tibet sustainable land use evaluation values from 1983 to 2002 are very close to the comprehensive evaluation values of ecological environment, which is up trend; ② sustainable utilization degree of land use in eastern region of Tibet is much higher than that of western region. ③ the sustainable land use evaluation value of Nyingtri County is the highest, and the counties with relatively higher land sustainable use values include Lhasa, Lhoka, Chamdo. While Nakchu, Ngari, Shigatse counties have the relatively lower evaluation values; ④ By analyzing each evaluation indicator's weight on sustainable land use, it can be concluded that the key limiting factors of sustainable Tibet land resource utilization are land desertification, grassland degradation and low economic level. 展开更多

Ecological environment in China refers to the state of people’s living environment,which is mainly represented in soil erosion,garbage pollution,air pollution,noise pollution and so on.The basic situation of ecological environment in China is that the governance capacity is far behind the speed of destruction,and the ecological deficit is gradually expanding.Excessive deforestation,indiscriminate reclamation,exceeding hunting,and random wild plants picking have been failed to be prohibited.Forest fires and pests and diseases are still very serious threats to forestry.In this paper,based on the generality of sustainable development,a systematic discussion was made to the framework theory of sustainable forestry development and sustainable forest management,followed by further exploration of forest resources and sustainable development.Moreover,based on the investigation on related concepts of forest resources,review of historic process of forest resources,and analysis on the grim situation of forest resources,some countermeasures were proposed to carry out the sustainable utilization of forest resources in China. 展开更多

以国家生态环境监测网数据为基础,分析2023年中国生态环境质量状况及2016年以来的变化特征。结果表明:2023年中国生态环境质量保持优良水平,其中,环境空气优良天数比例为85.5%,优良水质断面比例为89.4%,功能区声环境昼间和夜间达标率分... 以国家生态环境监测网数据为基础,分析2023年中国生态环境质量状况及2016年以来的变化特征。结果表明:2023年中国生态环境质量保持优良水平,其中,环境空气优良天数比例为85.5%,优良水质断面比例为89.4%,功能区声环境昼间和夜间达标率分别为96.1%和87.0%,生态质量指数为59.6;2016—2023年生态环境质量持续改善,其中,环境空气优良天数比例上升2.4个百分点,优良水质断面比例上升21.6个百分点,功能区声环境昼间和夜间达标率分别上升3.9个、13.0个百分点。但各生态环境要素质量在部分区域、特定时段不容乐观,京津冀及周边地区、汾渭平原空气质量总体水平仍低于全国平均水平,颗粒物和臭氧浓度偏高;个别流域仍为轻度污染,优良水质断面比例远低于全国水平,某些流域仍存在劣Ⅴ类水质断面,化学需氧量、总磷和高锰酸盐指数是地表水中的主要超标指标;声环境1类和4a类功能区夜间达标率仍相对较低;新疆中北部和甘肃西部地区仍有部分县域生态质量为四类或五类,生态脆弱的情况尚未得到根本改善。随着生态环境污染治理进入攻坚期,控制污染增量的边际成本增加,生态环境质量进一步改善的难度越来越大。 展开更多

为考察黄河流域水资源-生态-城市-产业协同的动态演进及其地区差异和来源,基于2016—2020年黄河流域76个主要地级市数据,采用协同度模型、核密度估计和Dagum基尼系数及其分解方法进行实证测度。结果表明:处于初级、中级和良好协同的城... 为考察黄河流域水资源-生态-城市-产业协同的动态演进及其地区差异和来源,基于2016—2020年黄河流域76个主要地级市数据,采用协同度模型、核密度估计和Dagum基尼系数及其分解方法进行实证测度。结果表明:处于初级、中级和良好协同的城市数量分别为30个、33个和13个。各城市协同度水平呈现上升趋势,但城市间绝对差异在扩大,相对差异在缩小;除呼包鄂榆城市群外,其他六大城市群协同度绝对差异均呈扩大趋势。黄河上游和下游内部差异呈下降趋势,中游内部差异呈上升趋势;上游和中游间差异最大,且呈现进一步扩大趋势,上游和下游间差异逐渐缩小。呼包鄂榆城市群群内差异最小,关中城市群群内差异最大;关中城市群与山东半岛城市群群间差异最小,晋中城市群与山东半岛城市群群间差异最大。未来应进一步加强要素协同、区域协同,发挥各地区动态比较优势,因地制宜推进黄河流域生态保护和高质量发展重大国家战略深入实施。 展开更多
