Active Anomalous Transmission and Its Application in Compensating Waveform Distortions

Recently, active non-Foster e... In theoty, engineered anomalous transmission in passive materials and waveguide devices can be used to compensate for wavetorm distortions. However, they suffer from inherent dissipation. Recently, active non-Foster elements with imaginary immittance monotonically decreasing with frequency have shown important potentials in broadening bandwidths of electromagnetic devices. So far, they are implemented besed on negative impedance convertors (NICs) loaded with Foster devices. This makes them intrinsically one-port elements and thus cannot be used to compensate for distortions of signals. We construct a two-port network with a non-Foster transmission coefticient based on an unconventional use of NICs. Simulation and experiments show that it can compensate for extremely distorted signals. The proposed method can be used to broaden existing applications in different areas such as antennas, circuits and systems, and physical-layer signal processing. 展开更多

Design and Analysis of Axial Thrust Roller-Exciting Vibrating Table and Its Motor-Control System Based on Co-simulation

Aiming at improving the mechanical vibrating equipment,the axial thrust roller-exciting vibrating tables and its motor-control system based on co-simulation were put forward. First, the structures of vibrating table and its surface equations and boundary conditions were established through reversal process. Second,waveform distortion influenced by random and harmonic waves was analyzed by equivalent parametric transition. These two steps were both technological challenge and contribution for the vibrating table.Finally, based on research above, a proportion integration differentiation( PID) motor-control system was built to show its rapid operation and convenient control. All the results show that not only does vibrating table have lower waveform distortion than traditional ones,but its control system narrows down the fluctuation and improves anti-interference performance. Hence,it provides a more extensive selection for efficient and practical mechanical vibrating table. 展开更多

The first photon bias of photon detection results in distortion of the photon waveform,which seriously affects the accurate acquisition of target information.A rapid universal recursive correction method is proposed,which is suitable for multi-trigger and single-trigger modes of photon detection.The calculation time is 2 to 3 orders of magnitude faster than that of Xu et al.'s method.In the experiment,we have obtained good correction results for area targets and targets with varying depths.When the average number of echo photons is 0.89,the correlation distance of the correction waveform is reduced by 85%. 展开更多

In this paper, the microwave large signal dynamic waveform characteristics of an advanced InGaP HBT are investigated experimentally for 5.8 GHz power amplifier applications. The microwave large signal waveform distortions at various input power levels, especially at large signal level, are investigated and the reasons are analyzed. The output power saturation is also explained. These analyses will be useful for power amplifier designs. 展开更多
