This unambiguous method can be used to achieve a high accuracy and to simultaneously measure the weak temporal phase and temporal profile of pulses, which are almost transform- limited. A detailed analysis shows that this iterative method has valuable potential applications in the charac- terization of pulses with weak temporal phase.展开更多

A current–phase diagram, single and multi-valued relation, is presented with a rescaled barrier height and width. Our results show that the finite size makes the current–phase relation deviate a little bit from the cosine form for the soliton solution in the limit of a vanishing barrier, and the periodic boundary condition selects only the plane wave solution in the case of high barrier. The reason for multi-valued current–phase relation is given by investigating the behavior of soliton solution.展开更多

We derive the exact expressions of the optimal quantum Fisher information (QFI) and success probability of phase estimation for an exactly solving model consisting of a qubit interacting with a structured reservoir. We show that the QFI can be obviously enhanced by means of the WM and QMR in different regimes. In addition, we also show that the magnitude of the decoherence involved in the WM and QMR can be a general complex number, which extends the applicable scope of the WM and QMR approach.展开更多

The gas is assumed to be polytropic whereas the liquid is treated as an incompressible fluid. We give the proof of the global existence and uniqueness of weak solutions whenβ∈ (0, 1), which have improved the result of Evje and Karlsen, and we obtain the regularity of the solutions by energy method.展开更多
