To accelerate the information exchanges between check nodes and variable nodes, the bit-flipping step and the check node updating step of the original algorithm are parallelized. The simulation experiments demonstrate that the improved PWBF algorithm provides about 0. 1 to 0. 3 dB coding gain over the original PWBF algorithm. And the improved algorithm achieves a higher convergence rate. The choice of the threshold is also discussed, which is used to determine whether a bit should be flipped during each iteration. The appropriate threshold can ensure that most error bits be flipped, and keep the right ones untouched at the same time. The improvement is particularly effective for decoding quasi-cyclic low-density paritycheck(QC-LDPC) codes.展开更多

Particular attentions are paid on establishing a muhilevel evaluation model for damaged prestressed concrete bridge, and the evaluation indices of the model as well as the rating standards are defined in the model. A normal relative function about the evaluation indices of each element is developed to calculate the relative degree, and for each element which is no sub-level elements. When evaluating the elements in sub-item level or index level of the model, the weights of elements that are pertained to one element are adopted, taking account of their deterioration degree. At the same time, the dam- age conditions of bridge are characterized by relative degree, element evaluation scale and structural technology mark of bridge, so it agrees with Code for Maintenance of Highway Bridges and Culvers.展开更多

On the basis, hybrid flux vector splitting method is utilized to intelligently judge the amplitude of the gap between grid interfaces. After the simulation and analysis of 1D convection equation with different initial conditions, modified WENO scheme is proved to be able to independently distinguish the gap amplitude and generate corresponding dissipation according to the grid resolution. Using the idea of flux reconstruction at grid interfaces, modified WENO scheme with increasing dissipation is applied at grid points, while DRP scheme with low dispersion and dissipation is applied at the inner part of grids. Moreover, Gauss impulse spread and periodic point sound source flow among three cylinders with multi-scale grids are carried out. The results show that the flux reconstruction method at grid interfaces is capable of dealing with Computational Aero Acoustics(CAA) multi-scale problems.展开更多
