[Method] A total of 120 Wanxi white geese at 1 day old were selected, and their law of development of intestinal weight and length was studied by feeding test and slaughter test. [ Re- sult] The growth of Wanxi white geese was slow in the early age, rapid at the age of 2 -5 wk, peaked at about 5 weeks old, and then slowed. The daily weight gain was around 25 g/d at the age of 7 -9 wk. Intestinal growth also peaked at 5 weeks old and almost developed fully at 7 weeks old. Thus, intestinal growth had a similar law with body weight. With the development, the ratios of the length of each intestinal segment to that of total intestinal tract did not vary largely. [ Conclusion] The study provides a theoretical basis for the production and development of germplasm resources of Wanxi white geese.展开更多

Its release is a milestone event in the country’s space history, bearing great importance and profound influence to its future space efforts. The paper here describes the shaping processes of some important new ideas and concepts, including the connotative meaning of “space activities in a broad sense” and the roles and positions of different sectors in such activities. It also briefly discusses related policies concerning the country’s space development and short-term concepts and plans on its civil space activities.展开更多

In terms of their structures, the white papers can be divided into three types: the mixed model, the five-in-one model and the rights-list model. The rights-list model has a consistent style, standard terminology, and an arrangement of rights in line with China’s reality. In terms of contents, the right to subsistence has been gradually reduced and the right to development is increasing. In the 2013 white paper, there was a whole chapter on social security rights, which highlights China’s social development and the priority placed on the people’s wellbeing. The right to development and social security will become a new focus of human rights discourse in China.展开更多

Currently, WLEDs with high color rendering are mainly based on wavelength conversion by one or more phosphor materials. In this review, the recent developments of phosphors for WLEDs were introduced combined with the relative work of our group. The common methods for generating white light for blue/ultraviolet(UV) WLEDs were summarized, including:(1) optimizing the commercially used phosphors;(2) developing some new phosphors based on UV LEDs chips;(3) realizing white light emission based on single host. Moreover, some typical new developed phosphors and their luminescence properties were introduced.展开更多
