Reinforcement corrosion is the main cause of performance deterioration of reinforced concrete(RC)structures.Limited research has been performed to investigate the life-cycle cost(LCC)of coastal bridge piers with nonuniform corrosion using different materials.In this study,a reliability-based design optimization(RBDO)procedure is improved for the design of coastal bridge piers using six groups of commonly used materials,i.e.,normal performance concrete(NPC)with black steel(BS)rebar,high strength steel(HSS)rebar,epoxy coated(EC)rebar,and stainless steel(SS)rebar(named NPC-BS,NPC-HSS,NPC-EC,and NPC-SS,respectively),NPC with BS with silane soakage on the pier surface(named NPC-Silane),and high-performance concrete(HPC)with BS rebar(named HPC-BS).First,the RBDO procedure is improved for the design optimization of coastal bridge piers,and a bridge is selected to illustrate the procedure.Then,reliability analysis of the pier designed with each group of materials is carried out to obtain the time-dependent reliability in terms of the ultimate and serviceability performances.Next,the repair time of the pier is predicted based on the time-dependent reliability indices.Finally,the time-dependent LCCs for the pier are obtained for the selection of the optimal design. 展开更多

To better improve the lightweight and fatigue durability performance of the tractor cab,a multi-objective lightweight design of the cab was carried out in this study.First,the finite element model of the cab with counterweight loading was established and then confirmed by the physical testing,and use the inertial reliefmethod to obtain stress distribution under unit load.The cab-frame rigid-flexible couplingmulti-body dynamicsmodelwas built by Adams/car software.Taking the cab airbag mount displacement and acceleration signals acquired on the proving ground as the desired signals and obtaining the fatigue analysis load spectrum through Femfat-Lab virtual iteration.The fatigue simulation analysis is performed in nCode based on the Miner linear fatigue cumulative damage theory.Then,with themass and fatigue damage values as the optimization objectives,the bending-torsional stiffness and first-order bending-torsional mode as constraints,the thickness variables are screed based on the sensitivity analysis.The experimental design was carried out using the Optimal Latin hypercube method,and the multi-objective optimal design of the cab was carried out using theKriging approximationmodel fitting and particle swarmalgorithm.The weight of the optimized cab is reduced by 7.8%on the basis of meeting the fatigue durability performance.Finally,a seven-axis road simulation test rig was designed to verify its fatigue durability.The results show the optimized cab can consider both lightweight and durability. 展开更多

First, the basic concept of DZS for concrete structure design is defined. Then the basic principles for DZS are established. The factors for zonation according to natural environmental conditions and structural importance are identified. The usefulness of DZS by citing a real application for concrete highway bridges in Zhejiang Province is demonstrated. Finally, durability regulations are provided accordingly to zonation. 展开更多

According to the Fick's second law of diffusion, six analytical solutions of chloride profile in concrete were studied and discussed with regard to different boundary and initial conditions. In those analytical solutions, the most prevailing error-function solution which is based on semi-infinite assumption is the simple one, but may under-estimate the chloride content in concrete and over-rate the life time prediction of concrete structures. The experimental results show that compared with other solutions, the chloride content in concrete predicted by error-function model is the minimum, and the calculation difference produced by different analytical models should not be ignored. The influence of models on chloride content prediction is more than other environment and material coefficients in some time. In order to get a more realistic prediction model, modification to error-function model is suggested based on analysis and calculation examples concerning the boundary and edge effect. 展开更多

Durability design of recycled high performance concrete(RHPC) is fundamental for improving the use rate and level of concrete waste as coarse recycled aggregate(CRA). We discussed a frostdurability-based mix proportion design method for RHPC using 100 % CRA and natural sand. Five groups of RHPC mixes with five strength grades(40, 50, 60, 70 and 80 MPa) were produced using CRA with four quality classes, and their workability, 28 d compressive strengths and frost resistances(measured by the compressive strength loss ratio and the relative dynamic modulus of elasticity) were tested. Relationships between the 28 d compressive strength, the frost resistance and the CRA quality characteristic parameter, water absorption, were then developed. The criterion of a CRA maximum water absorption limit value for RHPC was suggested, independent of its source and quality class. The results show that all RHPC mixes achieve the expected target workability, strength, and frost durability. The research results demonstrate that the application of the proposed method does not require trial testing prior to use. 展开更多

A reliability-based quantitative durability design methodology is presented for reinforced concrete(RC)structures in the marine environment on the basis of natural exposure data derived from four berths(1.5,1.5,4 and 15 years)of a concrete port.More than 200 chloride profiles are obtained and analyzed.The relationship between nominal surface chloride ion concentration and altitude is discussed.Subsequently,the formula of the apparent chloride diffusion coefficient is proposed with consideration of the surrounding temperature,sodium chloride solution concentration,age factor and altitude.Then,the reliability-based method to predict the durability of RC structures is developed according to Fick s second law.Relationships between the predicted penetration depth of the chloride ion,the ratio of the wetting time per-period and the corresponding altitude are discussed.Subsequently,the environmental zonation methodology is established for concrete structures under a marine chloride environment by considering the ratio of the wetting time per-period of concrete as the zoning index.Finally,the corres-ponding durability design method for each zone level is established,which contains the durability design regulations of the specimen,and correction coefficients for different water/binder ratios,ages,temperatures and chloride ion concentrations. 展开更多

Rational architecture design has turned out to be an effective strategy in improving the electrochemical performance of electrode materials for batteries.However,an elaborate structure that could simultaneously endow active materials with promoted reaction reversibility,accelerated kinetic and restricted volume change still remains a huge challenge.Herein,a novel chemical interaction motivated structure design strategy has been proposed,and a chemically bonded Co(CO_(3))_(0.5)OH·0.11 H_(2)O@MXene(CoCH@MXene)layered-composite was fabricated for the first time.In such a composite,the chemical interaction between Co^(2+)and MXene drives the growth of smaller-sized CoCH crystals and the subsequent formation of interwoven CoCH wires sandwiched in-between MXene nanosheets.This unique layered structure not only encourages charge transfer for faster reaction dynamics,but buffers the volume change of CoCH during lithiation-delithiation process,owing to the confined crystal growth between conductive MXene layers with the help of chemical bonding.Besides,the sandwiched interwoven CoCH wires also prevent the stacking of MXene layers,further conducive to the electrochemical performance of the composite.As a result,the as-prepared CoCH@MXene anode demonstrates a high reversible capacity(903.1 mAh g^(-1)at 100 mA g^(-1))and excellent cycling stability(maintains 733.6 mAh g^(-1)at1000 mA g^(-1)after 500 cycles)for lithium ion batteries.This work highlights a novel concept of layerby-layer chemical interaction motivated architecture design for futuristic high performance electrode materials in energy storage systems. 展开更多

河口船闸在服役过程中会受其下游海水入侵的影响,加之船闸运行时由于频繁灌泄水作用,使得船闸结构受盐水干湿交替的频次较海洋潮汐环境更高,混掺盐水高频率干湿交替的复杂环境下船闸钢筋混凝土(RC)易受腐蚀,结构耐久性问题突出。然而,... 河口船闸在服役过程中会受其下游海水入侵的影响,加之船闸运行时由于频繁灌泄水作用,使得船闸结构受盐水干湿交替的频次较海洋潮汐环境更高,混掺盐水高频率干湿交替的复杂环境下船闸钢筋混凝土(RC)易受腐蚀,结构耐久性问题突出。然而,针对河口船闸RC结构的耐久性设计参数目前未见明确的规范条文规定。为此,通过现场实测数据,推求得到了船闸工程建成后环境水中腐蚀因子对结构物的腐蚀程度,结合我国现行与混凝土耐久性相关的设计规范,经对比分析初定了河口船闸RC结构的耐久性设计参数(强度等级、水胶比、保护层厚度等)。在此基础上,综合考虑大体积混凝土在施工过程中的水化放热所引起的工程质量问题,依托既有工程的相关设计资料,提出了针对河口船闸RC受盐水入侵影响的结构耐久性设计参数建议值,以期为实际工程设计提供数据参考和技术支撑。 展开更多

永磁辅助同步磁阻电机具有高效率、高功率密度、低维护需求等优点,在电机的电磁设计时,由于涉及的参数变量较多,如磁通密度、线圈匝数、永磁材料的选择等,尤其是在追求最大化效率和输出功率的同时,还需要考虑到成本、物料的可获得性以... 永磁辅助同步磁阻电机具有高效率、高功率密度、低维护需求等优点,在电机的电磁设计时,由于涉及的参数变量较多,如磁通密度、线圈匝数、永磁材料的选择等,尤其是在追求最大化效率和输出功率的同时,还需要考虑到成本、物料的可获得性以及设计的可行性。该文基于永磁辅助同步磁阻电机基本工作原理及结构估算模型,以提高电机额定工况下运行效率为优化目标,采用田口法对电机相关参数进行优化设计,并对优化后的结果与原始方案进行对比。测试结果表明,与原始设计相比,优化后的电机在效率、温升控制和输出扭矩方面均有明显改进,尤其是在高负载条件下,优化电机展现出更稳定的性能和更高的能效。研究结果旨在通过采用先进的设计方法和试验验证,为永磁辅助同步磁阻电机性能的优化提供相关参考和建议。 展开更多

近几十年来,氧析出反应因其在能量储存和转换技术中的关键作用而受到了广泛关注。然而,它需要高效的催化剂例如IrO2和RuO2,来加速其缓慢的反应动力学。在所开发的低成本材料中,镍铁层状双氢氧化物(NiFe LDH)较为有前景,其在碱性电解质... 近几十年来,氧析出反应因其在能量储存和转换技术中的关键作用而受到了广泛关注。然而,它需要高效的催化剂例如IrO2和RuO2,来加速其缓慢的反应动力学。在所开发的低成本材料中,镍铁层状双氢氧化物(NiFe LDH)较为有前景,其在碱性电解质中表现出出色的氧析出性能,过电位很低,在10 mA·cm^(-2)处仅需200-300 mV。虽然人们在开发基于NiFe LDH的高效电催化剂方面做出了巨大努力并取得了一些成果,但是要进一步降低其过电位具有相当的挑战性。为了克服这个瓶颈,就需要明确识别其活性位点和催化机理,从根本出发来探究新的解决方案,以获得具有超低过电位的催化剂。本综述首先回顾了NiFe LDH的结构、组成和发展历史。虽然人们在研究催化活性位点和机制方面付出了巨大努力,但其真正的催化位点和机制仍然是模棱两可并存在争议的。我们对催化位点研究的代表性工作进行了全面分析,希望对催化机理和活性位点能提供一些深入认识和理解。此外,我们还就增强其催化活性的各种策略,如杂原子掺杂和引入空位等,进行了总结并基于电子和几何结构对其活性提高原理进行了分类,为开发高性能的NiFe LDH基催化剂提供新的见解和方向。此外,催化剂的稳定性,尤其是在高电流密度等技术条件下的稳定性至关重要,但常常被人们忽视。最新的研究表明,NiFe LDH基催化剂在高电流密度下运行一段时间就会出现严重的活性衰减。因此,本综述强调了稳定性问题的重要性,以引起更多研究者对此问题的关注,并分析了NiFe LDH基催化剂的衰减机理,总结和讨论了基于这些衰减机理开发的改善稳定性问题的最新策略。最后,本综述讨论了制备兼具优异催化活性和稳定性的NiFe LDH基的高效催化剂的可能发展方向。 展开更多

依托青岛轨道交通R3线,根据清水混凝土构件的技术要求选取原材料,开展混凝土配合比试验,分析单掺矿粉,双掺矿粉+粉煤灰,三掺矿粉+粉煤灰+硅粉对清水混凝土性能和外观质量的影响。试验结果表明:与单掺矿粉和双掺矿粉+粉煤灰相比,三掺矿粉... 依托青岛轨道交通R3线,根据清水混凝土构件的技术要求选取原材料,开展混凝土配合比试验,分析单掺矿粉,双掺矿粉+粉煤灰,三掺矿粉+粉煤灰+硅粉对清水混凝土性能和外观质量的影响。试验结果表明:与单掺矿粉和双掺矿粉+粉煤灰相比,三掺矿粉+粉煤灰+硅灰可大幅改善混凝土的工作性能,保障混凝土28 d抗压强度,大幅降低电通量,提高混凝土的耐久性能和外观质量。采用三掺矿粉+粉煤灰+硅粉的掺入方式,设计了不同强度等级混凝土的配合比并配制了混凝土。经测试,不同强度等级混凝土工作性能均良好;含气量在2.3%~2.4%,满足技术要求;抗压强度满足各自强度等级要求;28 d电通量在420~480 C,耐久性能好;外观颜色均匀,光泽度好,无明显气泡。配制的清水混凝土在青岛地铁R3号线两河站和灵山卫站中得到应用,各个部位清水混凝土外观质量满足JGJ 169—2009《清水混凝土应用技术规程》要求,工程应用效果良好。 展开更多

石衡沧港城际铁路工程滨海盐田区域为强腐蚀性环境,为保证桥梁结构的长期运营安全,开展相关的耐久性研究,提高桥梁结构耐久性是本工程亟待解决的问题。通过详细调研和分析该区域内桥梁工程的侵蚀性环境特点,对桥梁结构的暴露环境进行评... 石衡沧港城际铁路工程滨海盐田区域为强腐蚀性环境,为保证桥梁结构的长期运营安全,开展相关的耐久性研究,提高桥梁结构耐久性是本工程亟待解决的问题。通过详细调研和分析该区域内桥梁工程的侵蚀性环境特点,对桥梁结构的暴露环境进行评定,开展桥梁混凝土结构耐久性设计研究,形成如下研究成果。针对铁路工程面临的侵蚀性环境问题,提出了总体设计方案原则;对滨海强腐蚀环境桥梁桥墩承台和灌注桩高耐久混凝土进行配合比设计,形成适用于滨海盐田强腐蚀环境高耐久性混凝土的制备技术;研究耐久性构造设计,提出构造设计原则及物理隔绝设计理念,提出提高耐久性结构设计控制措施,进行结构物理隔绝措施设计,有效地提高桥梁结构的耐久性;针对本工程侵蚀性特点提出硅烷浸渍防护及耐蚀钢筋附加强化防护措施;研究和应用了透水模板布,提高混凝土的施工质量和密实性;在工程现场建立暴露试验站,开发钢筋混凝土耐久性无线监测系统,实现钢筋锈蚀全过程监测。通过滨海强腐蚀环境桥梁混凝土结构耐久性设计研究,达到滨海盐田严酷服役条件下铁路工程混凝土结构耐久性提升的目的,同时为服役期桥梁结构耐久性后期评估打下坚实的基础。 展开更多
