This paper deals with Wiener model based predictive control of a pH neutralization process.The dynamic linear block of the Wiener model is parameterized using Laguerre filters while the nonlinear block is constructed ...This paper deals with Wiener model based predictive control of a pH neutralization process.The dynamic linear block of the Wiener model is parameterized using Laguerre filters while the nonlinear block is constructed using least squares support vector machines (LSSVM).Input-output data from the first principle model of the pH neutralization process are used for the Wiener model identification.Simulation results show that the proposed Wiener model has higher prediction accuracy than Laguerre-support vector regression (SVR) Wiener models,Laguerre-polynomial Wiener models,and linear Laguerre models.The identified Wiener model is used here for nonlinear model predictive control (NMPC) of the pH neutralization process.The set-point tracking performance of the proposed NMPC is compared with those of the Laguerre-SVR Wiener model based NMPC,Laguerre-polynomial Wiener model based NMPC,and linear model predictive control (LMPC).Validation results show that the proposed NMPC outperforms the other three controllers.展开更多

In this work, an improved constrained model predictive control algorithm is presented for Hammerstein-Wiener systems. In the new approach, the maximum and minimum of partial derivative for input and output nonlinearities are solved in the neighbourhood of the equilibrium. And several parameter-dependent Lyapunov functions, each one corresponding to a different vertex of polytopic descriptions models, are introduced to analyze the stability of Hammerstein-Wiener systems, but only one Lyapunov function is utilized to analyze system stability like the traditional method. Consequently, the conservation of the traditional quadratic stability is removed, and the terminal regions are enlarged. Simulation and field trial results show that the proposed algorithm is valid. It has higher control precision and shorter blowing time than the traditional approach.展开更多

In particular, the open source software extends to the cloud service and edge computing. Recently, OSF Edge Computing Group is launched by OpenStack. There are big data behind the internet services such as cloud and edge computing. Then, it is important to consider the impact of big data in order to assess the reliability of open source software. Various optimal software release problems have been proposed by specific researchers. In the typical optimal software release problems, the cost parameters are defined as the known parameter. However, it is difficult to decide the cost parameter because of the uncertainty. The purpose of our research is to estimate the effort parameters included in our models. In this paper, we propose an estimation method of effort parameter by using the genetic algorithm. Then, we show the estimation method in section 3. Moreover, we analyze actual data to show numerical examples for the estimation method of effort parameter. As the research results, we found that the OSS managers would be able to comprehend the human resources required before the OSS project in advance by using our method.</span> </div>展开更多

Secondly,the Wiener kernel of power load...The uniform mathematical model of distortion signals in power grid has been setup with the theory of Wiener-G Functional. Firstly,the Matlab simulation models were established. Secondly,the Wiener kernel of power load was found based on the Gaussian white noise as input. And then the uniform mathematical model of the power grid signal was established according to the homogeneous of the same order of Wiener functional series. Finally,taking three typical distortion sources which are semiconductor rectifier,electric locomotive and electric arc furnace in power grid as examples,we have validated the model through the Matlab simulation and analyzed the simulation errors. The results show that the uniform mathematical model of distortion signals in power grid can approximation the actual model by growing the items of the series under the condition of the enough storage space and computing speed.展开更多
