“Voices of Heaven and Rhymes of God”——My English and Chinese Poetry Written from the Bible in Rhyme and Rhythm is Worth over Fifteen Towns together

Thanks to Heavens bestow me natural gift and literary talent, so that I not only like English and Chinese poems, but also can write poems in English and Chinese. After my 2nd book English Letters and Essays published by Sichuan University Press in March 2016, I began to write my 3rd book Voices of Heaven and Rhymes of God-My English and Chinese poetry written from the Bible in Rhyme and Rhythm. Imitating the most famous British, American and Italian poets, I have written more than one thousand English and Chinese bilingual poems from free poems, prose, addresses and narratives in the nine copies of the Bible in fourteen kinds of English metrical stanzas of poems, such as couplet, tercet, quatrain, cinquain, sixain, septet, octive, Spenserian stanza, ten-line stanza, sonnet, crown sonnet and long-stanzas (12, 13, 18) in rhyme and rhythm, in iambic pentameter and iambic tetrameter. And my Chinese poems in the version are in five, six, seven, eight and nine Chinese characters. We know the story in the Spring and Autumn Dynasty, Bian He’s Jade is the Jade of jades, the Treasure of treasures, and it is worth fifteen towns together. And I think my treasury Voices of Heaven and Rhymes of God is the Gem of jades and treasures, cause it brings us proverbs, wisdom, courage, confidence, strength, lifestyle etc. from the Bible, it really brings us heavenly grace, gift and wisdom. Voices of Heaven and Rhymes of God will be submitted out respectfully to common people;its soul is praising the Heavens sincerely, and hearing a universal singing.

Interpreting Chinese Nursery Rhymes from Mental Space Theory

Although nursery rhymes and other texts for children often involve implausible or even fantastic combinations of elements,children seem to have no trouble following them.The paper tries to account for the phenomenon in perspective of mental space theory,suggesting that children are adept at the sort of mental process called as conceptual integration.

Based on the Theory of Five Yun Six Qi to Study the Clinical Effect of Chaigui Decoction on Jueyin Type Hypertension

[Objectives]To study the clinical effect of Chaigui decoction(CGD)on Jueyin type hypertension based on the theory of Five Yun Six Qi.[Methods]52 patients with Jueyin type hypertension in Wuxi Hospital Affiliated to Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine from January,2020 to March,2021 were randomly divided into Western medicine control group(18 cases)and CGD group(34 cases).CGD group was treated with CGD,while the control group was treated with irbesartan or amlodipine.[Results]After treatment,the systolic blood pressure(SBP)of the two groups decreased significantly,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,the diastolic blood pressure(DBP)of CGD group was significantly lower than that of the control group(P<0.05).[Conclusions]Based on the theory of Five Yun Six Qi,CGD has significant effect on Jueyin type hypertension,and the effect of reducing DBP is better than that of Western medicine control group.

Appreciation of the Rhyme of Poems and Sonnets

In poetry, the device of ending two or more lines with words that sound alike is called end rhyming;end words that share a particular sound are end rhymes. When used in a poem,end rhymes set up a definite pattern of sounds-a rhyme scheme.

基于Yun SDR的L⁃DACS1系统前向链路平台的设计与实现

针对L频段数字航空通信系统接收机DME信号干扰抑制算法缺乏真实验证平台这一问题,利用软件无线电技术搭建L⁃DACS1的原型系统。按照L⁃DACS1系统前向链路的技术参数和超帧结构,设计实现了基于Yun SDR320和Matlab的L⁃DACS1系统前向链路发射机和接收机的原型构建,在真实的无线信道环境下实现信号的发送与接收。测试结果表明,所设计的L⁃DACS1系统前向链路平台符合系统规范、工作稳定,该平台可以用作未来DME干扰抑制算法的验证平台。

Effect of Crossbreed on the Muscle Quality(Chemical Composition) in Yun-Ling Black Goats

Twenty castrated male goats, each of Yun-Ling Black goats （YLB goat）, N × YLB hybrid goats （Nubian ♂ ×Yun-Ling Black goats 9） and B × YLB hybrid goats （Boer ♂× Yun-Ling Black goats ♀）, were used to evaluate the effect of crossbreeding on the meat chemical composition in the YLB goats of China. After weaning of 90 days, all the experimental goats were reared on natural pasture when they were slaughtered at an age of 730 days. The longissimus dorsi （LD） and biceps femoris （BF） muscles were sampled from each carcass to determine chemical compositions. Both hybrid goats had higher protein content （P 〈 0.01） and lower fat content （P 〈 0.05） than the YLB goats in the two types of muscle. The inosinic acid contents of LD muscle for the YLB goats and the B × YLB hybrid goats were significantly higher （P 〈 0.05） than that for the N × YLB hybrid goats. The LD muscle from the YLB goats contained higher essential amino acid （P 〈 0.01）, total amino acid （P 〈 0.01）, and some individual amino acid （P 〈 0.05） than those from the hybrid goats. The concentration of unsaturated fatty acid （USFA） of LD muscle from the N × YLB hybrid goats was significantly higher than the other two goat breeds （P〈0.05） but did not differ between the other two goat breeds （P〉0.05）. The YLB goats had significantly higher （P〈0.05） concentrations of oleic acid （C18：1） and linolenic acid （C18：3） of LD muscle than the hybrid goats, had significantly higher （P 〈 0.05） proportion of mono-unsaturated （Sum for C 16：1 and C 18：1） than the B ×YLB hybrid goats, and tended to be higher than the N × YLB hybrid goats （P 〉 0.05）. In contrast, the proportion of poly-unsaturated in the YLB goats was significantly lower （P 〈 0.05） than that in the hybrid goats.

美国韩裔传播学者Young Yun Kim提出的跨文化适应与传播整合理论是目前传播学角度跨文化适应研究较为完善的理论之一。该理论整合了宏观与微观、长期和短期、问题/学习视角、同化主义和多元主义的研究成果,认为跨文化适应的核心是个体通过新文化学习和旧文化削弱实现的内在转变,其实质是个体与环境之间的契合,而传播是驱动这一过程的关键。该理论诞生以来在国外跨文化传播研究中得到广泛应用,却尚未为国内新闻传播学界所熟知。本文介绍了该理论的概念、模型和评价,并评述了国内研究现状及其在我国传播研究中的应用前景。

The blended teaching mode has the advantages of combining traditional teaching methods with online teaching.It can not only play the leading role of teachers in guiding,inspiring,and monitoring the teaching process,but also fully reflect the initiative,enthusiasm,and creativity of students as the main body of the learning process.This paper mainly explores“Yunban Class”for College English based on blended teaching mode.This learning mode is characterized by problem-oriented and task-driven pattern and requires teachers to assign online learning tasks and offline learning tasks to students at different stages.Meanwhile,classroom performance takes a large portion in evaluating students’learning by combining formative assessment and summative assessment in order to motivate students to learn and make them get more involved in class activities so that independent learning could be gradually achieved.

Applying the Frame Theory to Translating Animal Metaphors in Cantonese Nursery Rhymes into English

From the perspective of the frame theory,with the analysis of animal metaphors in Cantonese nursery rhymes,this paper discusses the feasible translation strategies,suggesting that direct translation can be adopted for animal metaphors that can evoke the similar cognitive frame in both Cantonese and English cultural contexts.As for those without identical frame,translation without the original vehicle can be used for the metaphors of physicalification,while translation with annotation can be applied for the metaphors of personification.

Chen Yun's Rural Surveys in China

In order to explore a way to completely transform China,the Chinese Communists have vigorously promoted the style of investigations and research in rural areas.Chen Yun is a model of this rural investigation movement.He focused on understanding the life of the peasant class and the reality of China's rural areas through field investigations.The survey content was meticulous and extensive,and the survey process sought truth from facts.He creatively used a variety of survey methods based on objective conditions,and strove to earnestly benefit the people.Chen Yun provided Marxist guiding ideology for rural investigations in China,guided rural investigations to proceed on the right track,and at the same time infused rural investigations with the value concept of putting the people first,which still has important reference significance for solving the problems of agriculture,rural areas and farmers in the new situation.

A Systemic-functional Approach to Ideational Metaphor in English Nursery Rhymes

Ideational metaphor is a typical type of grammatical metaphor. The analysis of grammatical metaphor in English nursery rhymes from the perspective of ideational metaphor, which tries to explore possible evidence of the existence of ideational metaphor in the language of young children-nursery rhymes. Children learn probably many equally complex systems as that of human language.

On Rhyme and Symmetry in the Translation of Tang Poetry:A Case Study of Xu Yuanchong’s English Translation of 300 Tang Poems

Ancient poetry represents historical and cultural legacies accumulated by the Chinese nation for thousands of years and underpins the strong cultural confidence of the Chinese people.Tang poetry distinguishes itself from other literary works with its beautiful rhyme and symmetry.Previous studies of English translations of Tang poetry mostly focused on appreciation,analysis,and critics of different translation versions.Few researchers have delved into the specific translation methods for achieving the rhyming and symmetrical effects of Tang poetry in the target text.This paper examined Professor Xu Yuanchong’s English translation of 300 Tang Poems as the research object,and elaborated on how to retain the rhyming and symmetrical effects of Tang poems.This paper also summarized some practical methods that can be applied to translating Tang poems.Rhyming can be realized by the addition of end rhyme words and changes in word or line order.Symmetry can be achieved by the omission of a modifier or predicate,the addition of function words,changes in word order,or parallelism with the original sentence structure.

An Analysis of the Functions of Nursery Rhymes in Alice's Adventure in Wonderland

Alice's Adventures in Wonderland is a famous novel in children's literature by Lewis Carroll, plays an important role in the history of children's literature. Large amount of nursery rhymes are used in the novel. This paper simply analyzes the embodiment and function of the nursery rhymes in Alice in Wonderland, and the understanding of children's literature. It also points out the reasons for the existence of nursery rhymes.
