The fingerprint information of Bupleurum at five wavelengths (210, 254, 265, 280 and 320 nm) collected by HPLC-DAD instrument was fused to overall control its quality. The fusion fingerprints and four components (saikosaponin a, saikosaponin d, rutin, quercitrin) were studied by systematic quantitative fingerprint method and principal component analysis, respectively. Besides, fingerprint-efficacy relationship was constructed in vitro using partial least-squares model. [Objectives]This study aimed to evaluate the quality of Bupleurum falcatum Linne interplanted with walnut in Ganluo and study the development and utilization value of other parts.[Methods]The contents of saikosaponins...[Objectives]This study aimed to evaluate the quality of Bupleurum falcatum Linne interplanted with walnut in Ganluo and study the development and utilization value of other parts.[Methods]The contents of saikosaponins a and d were determined with RP-HPLC,and the contents of 7 kinds of harmful elements were determined by ICP-MS.The quality of B.falcatum Linne was compared with that of other Bupleurum species.[Results]The total saikosaponin content in Radix Bupleurum Falcatum(15.894 mg/g)was higher than that in Radix Bupleuri of other origins(8.748 mg/g).The total saikosaponin content in leaves of B.falcatum Linne(7.518 mg/g)is more than twice the limit promulgated by Chinese Pharmacopoeia.The contents of Al,Cr,Cu,As,Cd,Pb and Hg in B.falcatum Linne were all lower than the limits promulgated by the pharmacopoeia.In short,the quality of Radix Bupleurum Falcatum was better than that of Radix Bupleurum Marginatum(S3,S4)and Radix Bupleurum Sachalinense(S5).The leaves of B.falcatum Linne contained more saikosaponins and less harmful elements.[Conclusions]The method and technology of interplanting B.falcatum Linne with walnut in Ganluo are mature.The quality of the medicinal materials produced is superior,and the leaves are also rich in saikosaponins a and d,and can be used as the raw material for extracting saikosaponins a and d.This study provides a basis for further in-depth research on the cultivation of B.falcatum Linne in the domestic market.展开更多

Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of Shexian bupleurum on insomnia based on evaluation scales and polysomnogram(PSG).Methods:A total of 260 patients suffering from insomnia admitted to the outpatient departme...Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of Shexian bupleurum on insomnia based on evaluation scales and polysomnogram(PSG).Methods:A total of 260 patients suffering from insomnia admitted to the outpatient department of Handan Central Hospital were included in a randomized,double blind,placebo-controlled trial.The patients were randomly divided into two groups:a control group(receiving placebo,n=150),and an intervention group(receiving Shexian bupleurum treatment,n=110).The clinical trial lasted for 4 weeks.The Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI),Insomnia Severity Index(ISI),Patient Health Questionnaire(PHQ)-9,Generalized Anxiety Disorder(GAD)-7,17 items of Hamilton Depression Scale(HAMD-17),and Hamilton Anxiety Scale(HAMA)were used to evaluate the patients at baseline as well as two weeks and four weeks after treatment;the Treatment Emergent Symptom Scale(TESS)was used to evaluate adverse reactions;polysomnography(PSG)was used to monitor and analyze their sleep characteristics at baseline and four weeks after treatment.Results:The PSQI,ISI,PHQ-9,HAMD-17,and HAMA scores of the intervention group significantly decreased compared to the control group,while the total sleep time,rapid eye movement sleep latency,stage 2 sleep,deep sleep,rapid eye movement sleep,and sleep efficiency of the intervention group significantly increased compared to the control group.The PHQ-9 score of the control group only decreased two weeks after treatment(p<0.05)compared to the intervention group.In addition,there were no obvious adverse events in both the intervention group and the control group.Conclusion:Shexian bupleurum not only improves sleep quality,but also relieves depression and anxiety in patients who suffer from insomnia.展开更多

Forty lactating Holstein cows were randomly assigned to 1 of 4 treatments. The treatments consisted of 0, 0.25, 0.5, and 1.0 g of BE kg-1 dry matter. Supplementation with BE decreased (P〈0.05) blood urea nitrogen (BUN) contents and increased blood total protein (TP) and albumin (ALB) levels compared with control cows, but it had no effects (P〉0.05) on blood glucose (GLU), nonesterified fatty acid (NEFA), total triglycedde (TG), low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C), and high density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C). Compared with control cows, cows fed BE had higher (P〈0.05) superoxide dismutase (SOD) and glutathione peroxidase (GSH-Px) activity. However, supplementation with BE had no effect (P〉0.05) on total antioxidant capacity (T-AOC) or malondialdehyde (MDA) levels. The immunoglobulin (Ig) A and G contents increased (P〈0.05) in cows fed 0.25 or 0.5 g of BE kg-1. Interleukin (IL)-2 and IL-4 levels were higher (P〈0.05) in cows fed 0.5 and 1.0 g of BE kg-1, and IL-6 was significantly elevated (P〈0.05) in cows fed 0.5 g of BE kg-1. The results showed that the germination rate of fresh water at 12 h was significantly higher than that at 8 h and 36 h; The germination rate of seeds treated with constant temperature 15℃ and variable temperature 25 ℃/15 ℃ (day/night) was significantly higher than that of other temperature treatments. Seed soaking time and culture temperature also influenced seed germination start day and peak day. Different concentrations of regulatory substances could promote seeds germination. The germination rate of seeds induced by 0.50 mg/L 6-BA was the highest, the start day and peak day were 4 days and 5 days earlier than control check (CK) respectively.展开更多

The results showed that the germination rate of fresh water at 12 h was significantly higher than that at 8 h and 36 h; The germination rate of seeds treated with constant temperature 15℃ and variable temperature 25 ℃/15 ℃ (day/night) was significantly higher than that of other temperature treatments. Seed soaking time and culture temperature also influenced seed germination start day and peak day. Different concentrations of regulatory substances could promote seeds germination. The germination rate of seeds induced by 0.50 mg/L 6-BA was the highest, the start day and peak day were 4 days and 5 days earlier than control check (CK) respectively.
文摘A new saikosaponin was isolated from Bupleurum chinense DC., and its structure was identified as 3β,16α,23,28,30_pentahydroxy_olean_11,13(18)_dien_3_O_β_D_glucopyranosyl(1→6)_[α_L_rhamnopyranosyl (1→4)]_β_D_glucopyranoside on the basis of chemical and spectral evidence, named as saikosaponin q_1. In addition, two known saikosaponins, 3″_O_acetyl_saikosaponin d and 3″_O_acetyl_saikosaponin b 2, were also isolated and identified from this plant for the first time.
文摘A new lignanoside, saikolignanoside A, was isolated from the roots of Bupleurum scorzonerifolium. Its structure was determined as 3-methoxy-4-hydroxy-5-[ (8 S ) -3-methoxy-4- hydroxyphenylpropyl alcohol]-E-cinnamic alcohol-4-O-b-D-glucopyranoside by means of NMR and MS analysis, acid hydrolysis and optical data.
