西藏交通警察道路执法工作的风险与防范

西藏自治区自然、地理与气候环境复杂且特殊,道路交通环境相对恶劣,这导致当地交通警察道路执法工作面临诸多风险,包括警员人身安全和执法效能等风险。对此,文章对西藏交通警察道路执法工作风险进行了调查分析,从地区环境、警员安全意识与技能、执法装备、社会宣传和教育等角度探讨了相关风险的成因,针对性相关风险成因,提出从优化警力配置与道路信息推送、加强警员培训、完善警务装备、加强法治化宣传教育等工作来消除相关风险,以期保障警员安全并改善西藏交通环境。

QoE Assessment of Group Synchronization Control Scheme with Prediction in Work Using Haptic Media

This paper proposes a group synchronization control scheme with prediction in work using haptic media. The scheme adjusts the output timing among multiple terminals and keeps the interactivity high. It outputs position information by predicting the future position later than the position included in the last-received information by a fixed amount of time. It also advances the output time of position information at each local terminal by the same amount of time. We deal with two different types of work using haptic media so as to demonstrate the effectiveness of the scheme. We assess the output quality of haptic media for the two types of work subjectively and objectively by Quality of Experience (QoE) assessment. We further clarify the relationship between subjective and objective assessment results.

“Chinese Social Work 2.0” and Its Historical and International Significance

This paper explores the idea of“Chinese social work 2.0”by reviewing the situation,issues,and needs of Chinese social work for further advancement in historical and comparative perspectives.The“10 years of Chinese social work(2006-2016)”vs.a 30-year history of rebuilding social work in the Chinese mainland can be explained with the transition of GPP(general public policy).This helps to understand the various pitfalls and seeming downturns in Chinese social work over the past years and to understand the major decisions of the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China(CPC)by understanding the historical backdrop and theoretical rationale of“seeking balance”meaning that China formally parts with its“GDP first”doctrine and withdraws its“economic state”GPP from the historical stage,and“seeking sufficiency”meaning that China continues to base its public policy on economic construction rather than to follow a welfare state GPP.Chinese social work professionals should take advantage of the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China(CPC)by highlighting the core issue of“balanced”development and play a leading role in promoting social fairness and justice.The precondition for fulfilling this role is that social work must be placed among the main disciplinary categories(“Group I subject of social science and humanities”)in China with the enhancement of research and faculty competence via well-designed(doctoral)social work education.

A Large-Scale Group Decision Making Model Based on Trust Relationship and Social Network Updating

With the development of big data and social computing,large-scale group decisionmaking(LGDM)is nowmerging with social networks.Using social network analysis(SNA),this study proposes an LGDM consensus model that considers the trust relationship among decisionmakers(DMs).In the process of consensusmeasurement:the social network is constructed according to the social relationship among DMs,and the Louvain method is introduced to classify social networks to form subgroups.In this study,the weights of each decision maker and each subgroup are computed by comprehensive network weights and trust weights.In the process of consensus improvement:A feedback mechanism with four identification and two direction rules is designed to guide the consensus of the improvement process.Based on the trust relationship among DMs,the preferences are modified,and the corresponding social network is updated to accelerate the consensus.Compared with the previous research,the proposedmodel not only allows the subgroups to be reconstructed and updated during the adjustment process,but also improves the accuracy of the adjustment by the feedbackmechanism.Finally,an example analysis is conducted to verify the effectiveness and flexibility of the proposed method.Moreover,compared with previous studies,the superiority of the proposed method in solving the LGDM problem is highlighted.

社会工作质性评估研究的回顾(1990-2003)对中国社会工作的启示

Objective: This paper reviewed and examined the quality of all the qualitative evaluation studies indexed by two key search terms of “qualitative” and “evaluation” in the Social Work Abstracts database from 1990 to 2003 against a number of criteria typically adopted in the field of qualitative research. The review led to a dissatisfactory finding of the low quality of many qualitative evaluation studies due to their insensitivity to the following issues: philosophical basis of the study, auditability (detailed documentation of the participants and data collecting procedure), biases (acknowledgement of biases and preoccupation, and steps to deal with them), credibility or trustworthiness (triangulation, peer checking and participant verification of the findings), consistency (reliability consciousness and audit trails), and critical interpretation of the data (alternative explanations, disconfirming evidence, and limitations of the study). It was recommended that researchers be cautious when utilizing findings from the published qualitative evaluation studies; that social workers be sensitive to the issue of quality when conducting qualitative evaluation studies; that researchers be critical when judging the qualitative evaluation studies in social work; that researchers develop a clear set of guidelines for qualitative studies; that social work training institutes design qualified qualitative research courses; that a database of social work in China be established; that researchers be engaged in more qualitative studies that demonstrate high quality; that myths in qualitative research be debunked; and that adequate training for social workers on qualitative evaluation studies be provided.

Application of New Concept for Multiple Intelligences Calculation for Personality and Social Groups Comparison Research

A person is considered as information-energy system with a host of feedbacks. The possibility of determining the statistical characteristics in a multiple intelligences profile of various social groups’ representatives using the vibraimage technology is investigated. Theft and alcohol abuse have been chosen as examples of significant social problems including deviant behavior and the trigger of formation of various socially vulnerable groups. The comparative analysis of conscious and unconscious attitudes in multiple intelligences structure of individuals prone to deviant behavior and the control group allows differentiating professional preferences and the impact of society on different social groups.

Interpersonal Perception in Virtual Groups: Examining Homophily, Identification and Individual Attraction Using Social Relations Model in Network

With the penetration of the Internet, virtual groups have become more and more popular. The reliability and accuracy of interpersonal perception in the virtual environment is an intriguing issue. Using the Social relations model (SRM) [1], this paper investigates interpersonal perception in virtual groups from a multilevel perspective. In particular, it examines the following three areas: homophily, identification, and individual attraction, and explores how much of these directional and dyadic relational evaluations can be attributed to the effect of the actor, the partner, and the relationship.

自从事高中英语教学三年多来,笔者通过多次外出学习观摩,从专家关于教学方面的讲座中,深刻体会到,如果我们教师满堂灌,而学生被动地接受,这种做法只能让学生成为考试的机器,而不是真正地让他们在英语的听说读写能力,尤其是创新能力和实践能力得到全面的发展。

Mining Social Groups with Weighted Similarity in Campus Wireless Network

With the popularity of wireless networks and the prevalence of personal mobile computing devices, understanding the characteristic of wireless network users is of great significance to the network performance. In this study, system logs from two universities, Dartmouth College and Shanghai Jiao Tong University(SJTU), were mined and analyzed. Every user's log was represented by a user profile. A novel weighted social similarity was proposed to quantify the resemblance of users considering influence of location visits. Based on the similarity, an unsupervised learning method was applied to cluster users. Though environment parameters are different, two universities both form many social groups with Pareto distribution of similarity and exponential distribution of group sizes. These findings are very important to the research of wireless network and social network .

Peacebuilding Is Social Work:From Political Science to Social Psychology

For the longest time,peacemaking and peacekeeping were the only post-factum interventions to resolve armed conflicts usually related to a nation-state’s borders or territory.Peacebuilding has its origins in sociology(Galtung,1969;1975)and is used today as a preferred concept in matters of conflict.However,this paper explores why peacebuilding,as the Secretary General of the United Nations advocates in A New Agenda for Peace,must become a nonlinear and contextual process that promotes the prevention of conflict and invites a transformative approach to addressing the linkages between peace,security,and climate.Furthermore,this paper advocates that peacebuilding grounded in social psychology and social anthropology will bring about transformative outcomes as it will build relationships at the community level and become a preventive tool to address incipient tensions within the community.Peacebuilding as social work will benefit the community and lay the necessary foundations for a sustainable future.Social workers are equipped to assess,analyze,and solve problems.Their capacity to do ongoing social diagnosis is a critical tool to prevent skirmishes degenerating into conflicts.Social work could be the much-needed resource to further develop theory and practice that contributes to active peacebuilding.

The Analysis of an HIV and AIDS Empowering Group Work Programme for Adolescents: A Quantitative Evaluation

In this article an HIV and AIDS group work programme empowering adolescents to deal with the possible death of their parents/caregivers will be evaluated in a quantitative fashion. The data were obtained by means of the Child Functioning Inventory High School (CFI-HIGH) developed by Perspective Training College and the Generalized Contentment Scale (GCS) of Hudson (Bloom et al., 1999: 220). The guidelines for selection and inclusion of respondents in the comparison and experimental groups will be discussed, followed by information on the measuring instruments. The article will conclude with conclusions and recommendations.

Path Analysis of Rural Social Work Intervention in Precision Poverty Alleviation in Sichuan Province

The targeted poverty alleviation policy isone of the important methods to solve the problemof poverty in China. After the implementation of thetargeted poverty alleviation policy in China, someresults have shown positive. However, due to theshortage of resources and talents for poverty alleviation,there are still some shortcomings in the targeted povertyalleviation work. In the process of targeted povertyalleviation, if we can promote social work to participatein targeted poverty alleviation and use a wider rangeof social forces to provide more professional andtargeted assistance work for the poor, we will achievethe final sprint for the success of targeted povertyalleviation in China and a well-off society. Based onthe actual situation of China’s current targeted povertyalleviation work, this article takes the relationship andcontent of rural social work in Sichuan Province aspart of the targeted poverty alleviation as well as thedifficulties it faces. The analysis focuses on the pathof rural social work in Sichuan Province to targetedpoverty alleviation and aims to provide more referencesuggestions for targeted poverty alleviation in China.

Consensus model of social network group decision-making based on trust relationship among experts and expert reliability

Due to people’s increasing dependence on social networks,it is essential to develop a consensus model considering not only their own factors but also the interaction between people.Both external trust relationship among experts and the internal reliability of experts are important factors in decision-making.This paper focuses on improving the scientificity and effectiveness of decision-making and presents a consensus model combining trust relationship among experts and expert reliability in social network group decision-making(SN-GDM).A concept named matching degree is proposed to measure expert reliability.Meanwhile,linguistic information is applied to manage the imprecise and vague information.Matching degree is expressed by a 2-tuple linguistic model,and experts’preferences are measured by a probabilistic linguistic term set(PLTS).Subsequently,a hybrid weight is explored to weigh experts’importance in a group.Then a consensus measure is introduced and a feedback mechanism is developed to produce some personalized recommendations with higher group consensus.Finally,a comparative example is provided to prove the scientificity and effectiveness of the proposed consensus model.

A Discrepancy between An Advocacy of Group Work and the Reality of Its Poor Implementation ELT Classrooms of Junior High Schools in China's Mainland

The paper investigates how group work was implemented in English teaching classrooms in a junior high school of China's Mainland as a case study. The research data was collected by classroom observations, a survey of the students and interviews with the classroom teachers. The research finds a mismatch between an advocacy of group work and the reality of its poor implementation. It has implications on English curriculum innovation and the advocacy of group work in ELT classrooms in China's Mainland.

The Application of Group Work in Higher Vocational College English Teaching in Beibu Gulf

Christian Faith Rush in Rural Areas and Social Work Intervention

To make the public have rational knowledge of the Christian faith rush in rural areas and guide coordinated development of Christianity with the socialist society, we analyzed reasons and complex influence on rural social development from aspects of society and individual and attraction of Christianity by the Literature Analysis Method. In view of its negative effect, we put forward several countermeasures from the perspective of social work intervention, such as improving farmers' overall qualities, promoting effective implementation of social security system, and correcting believers' understanding of Christianity. Finally, we introduced situation of Christian faith in other countries and reference and directive significance to China.

Practice Wisdom Knowledge Versus Empirical Science Knowledge:Guiding Historical Social Work Direct Practice

For social workers who are interested in research associated with validating methodology for the amelioration of human problems,or the mastery of intervention models,used in direct practice;definitive consensus,on guidelines,remains elusive.Much has been written in recent years about the necessity of the profession to be guided by either empirical research,which has validated specific interventions,or by the theory,heuristic rules,and the decision‐making schema of experienced practitioners.The debate is not simply limited to clinical practice issues,or factions defending or refuting,a particular theoretical stance.On one hand,social research has in recent years,invalidated some long held practice models,and has modified our understanding of core social problems.Yet,social research is an often difficult and arduous pursuit,which may require some time to make thorough evaluation,as compared to the immediacy of emerging social concerns.This transmission of scholarly research findings takes time and considerable effort to disseminate and gain understanding and acceptance within the practice community even when well received.On the other hand,practitioners serve as the wellspring of observations,which are often translated into models or theory,and frequently become the subject matter of empirical research.However,few in the practice community are encouraged or committed,to systematically review research findings so as to modify practice approaches,which have not been well validated by recent research findings.

Disadvantageous Position,Exclusion and Empowerment： Social Integration of Marginal Groups

Marginalized groups,affected by the stigma of the label,have low intra-individual self-efficacy,lack external support in social life,and are often excluded in the economic,political and social relations,which is not conducive to social justice and stability. In the perspective of empowerment theory,the marginalized groups need to be integrated into the society on individual,interpersonal,and political levels. On the individual empowerment level,self-efficacy is to be enhanced in the marginalized groups to promote their self-acceptance;on the interpersonal empowerment level,social resources for the marginalized groups are to be expanded through self-help groups so as to build an extensive social support network; on the political empowerment level,it is advocated to improve the relevant legislation and policy support. Social workers and various social parties should work together to create a good environment for the social integration of marginalized groups.
