New Research of English Teaching in Secondary Vocational School-Based on Postmethod Pedagogy

Postmethod pedagogy of B. Kumaravadivelu can bring a new hope for English teaching of secondary vocational schools. This new research has gained some inspiration for English teaching from the perspective of teachers, students, teacher educators and so on based on postmethod pedagogy.

An Investigation into English Teaching Methods in Secondary Vocational Schools in Zhejiang Province

New requirements in English teaching were brought up under vocational curriculum reform in Zhejiang province.The work presented in this paper mainly focus on three aspects of the following: Teaching methods in class,the students' knowledge background and learning motivation.Methods used in this investigation are known as questionnaires as well as interview.Total182 students from two Vocational Schools in Hangzhou city were surveyed in random manner,aiming at the students' knowledge background,learning motivation and teachers' teaching methods.Interview was used as supplementary information.It's in order to get an entire grasp of the present situation of English teaching Methods in secondary vocational schools and to find out an effective way to solve the problems.After that,as a result of the Investigation indicates that problems still exist in secondary vocational schools.Suggestions are to put forward some effective strategies and approaches that will improve English teaching quality in secondary vocational schools; what is more,according to students' choices and interests,situational teaching and layered teaching could be implemented in order to improve students' English ability.

An Introduction to The Construction of English Multiplex Teaching Evaluation System in Secondary Vocational Schools

In view of the current situation that the evaluation mode of English Teaching in secondary vocational school is still dominated by the summative evaluation,the new evaluation mode,the multiple evaluation system,is applied to the English teaching practice of secondary vocational school in the form of experiment,and the situation of studentst learning strategies,autonomous learning,interest in learning and English level after the implementation of the multiple evaluation system is analyzed.The results show that the multiple evaluation system of English Teaching in secondary vocational school has a positive impact on studentst English learning strategies,learning autonomy and learning interest,and also plays a certain role in promoting the improvement of students’ overall English level.

Application of Context Theory in English Vocabulary Teaching in the Secondary Vocational School

This paper conducts a study of English vocabulary teaching in the secondary vocational school based on context theory. Through the quantitative research method, results of the study indicate that it is effective for the secondary vocational school students to improve their vocabulary mnemonic ability, English proficiency and words guessing ability through English vocabulary teaching based on context.

An Empirical Study on Classroom Learning Anxiety of Secondary Vocational English Learners in Content-based Instruction

This research aims to study the relationship between content-based instruction and secondary vocational English learners.Two classes in one secondary vocational school were chosen as participants.The result shows that CBI teaching has a negative correlation with English learning anxiety and has an impact on alleviating students' anxiety.

Online teaching would become a development trend in the field of education.Based on the characteristics of online education and the theory of constructivism,the elements of online teaching would undergo fundamental changes which would certainly lead to revolutionary educational concepts,contents,designs,methods,etc.With the continuous rapid development of China's economy,the scale of vocational education has expanded.In combination with the constructivist learning theory to explain the meaning of online education,analysis of the feasibility of secondary vocational education and their students,as well as the online education in secondary vocational schools,a feasible online teaching design is constructed for vocational teachers.Through research,it is found that the online teaching of secondary vocational education teachers based on constructivism requires improvement in some of their abilities and personal qualities.

Should and Can Flipped Classroom Be Introduced to Secondary Vocational Schools in China?

The flipped learning model, which “flips” traditional in-class lectures with cooperative activities, has obtained lots of followers and backers in education. Usually teachers have a negative attitude toward flipped model. Teachers have their stance, and flipped model is still in the exploration stage in vocational education context at present. Studies and design models for flipped learning in secondary vocational education are insufficient. However, flipped classroom is an educational tool which may benefit students. This paper attempts to provide a foundation for further research and implementation for flipped learning in secondary vocational education. It was found that there is no quick answer to the question whether the flipped classroom should and can be introduced to secondary vocational schools or not, but teachers should implement flipped classroom positively.

为革新中职院校的课堂教学模式,提升课堂教学效果,现以混合式教学在中职UG三维造型设计课程的应用为研究对象,采用调查研究法,得到了中职UG三维造型设计课程的现状以及存在的问题,在研究“线上+线下”教学设计基础上,提出“以学生为中心”和“以学习活动为中心”的课堂教学策略,并依托“超星学习通”平台,设计了“线上+线下”混合式教学新模式,并将该模式运用于中职UG三维造型设计课程中。研究结果表明,该模式提升了中职课堂教学效果,为中职课堂教学模式的改革提供参考。

国家中职示范校专业课教师教学行为问题诊断与对策——基于课堂观察法的实证研究

中职专业课教师的课堂教学行为是影响教学质量的关键因素。在分析国内外课堂教学行为文献的基础上,基于问题类型分析法、师生对话深度分析法、课堂有效性提问分析法、S-T分析法和小组合作学习行为分析法5种课堂观察法,以2所国家中职示范校的48名专业课教师为研究对象,对其课例进行编码和分析,并与北京1所国家中职示范校4位教师的8节课例分析结果做对比。结果显示,两校教师课堂教学存在以教师为中心、侧重理论知识学习、忽视学生综合职业能力培养、教师专业实践教学能力弱、教学组织和应用能力不强、小组合作学习质量不高、评价方式单一等共性问题。根据上述痛点问题,结合行动导向教学理论、建构主义学习理论和绩效管理理论等,提出国家落实职校教师准入制度,设立由政府、职校、企业或行业联合开办的“产业学院”,为教师提供深度企业实践机会;学校加强新手教师岗前培训,建立教师顶岗实习考核机制;专业课教师强化职教前沿理论学习,转变传统教学模式,优化课堂教学设计,采用多元评价方式等对策。

基于有意义学习理论的PBL教学模式设计与实践——以中等职业教育“常用工具软件”课程为例

以“有意义学习理论”为导向,针对当前中等职业教育传统课堂教学模式的特点与不足,运用PBL(Problem-Based Learning)教学模式,以“常用工具软件”课程为例进行教学设计和实践;通过设计七步教学模式:创设问题、分析问题、解决问题、成果展示、多元评价、反思交流、扩展应用,促进学生的知识建构和有意义学习,为专业课程提供更多的改革思路和方法,以此拓展PBL教学模式与有意义学习理论的适用范围。
