日本明治时期的汉语教科书《燕语生意筋络》保存了大量极具特色的北京话口语词。选取其中的部分口语词加以解释,将之与本土文献进行对比研究,从共时和历时两个方面描写书中的北京话口语词汇概貌。通过研究发现,《燕语生意筋络》的语言极具口语特色和时代、地域特点,充分反映了当时北京的社会生活和商业发展的风貌。同时,对书中北京话口语词的研究,也能为汉语词汇史研究提供重要的参考。

Routes Choice of Urban Agriculture,Ecotourism and Cultural Innovation Industry Fusion

The fusion of urban agriculture, ecotourism and cultural innovation industry has been a necessary way for industry updating, value increase and income im- provement of farmers in suburbs. The methods available of the fusion are as fol- lows： corporation development and operation, led by government with an integrated plan; corporation management and development under guidance of market with sup- port from government; collective development under guidance of market and policies; individual development and operation with the model of ＂villagers participation de- pending on infrastructure provided by government＂. The four routes enjoy exclusive advantages and characters. Hence, different villages and towns should adopt the most suitable one according to local conditions for further development and management.

Clinical relevance and public health significance of hepatitis B virus genomic variations

Ten hepatitis B virus （HBV） genotypes （A-J） and 34 HBV subgenotypes have been identified so far. HBV genotypes and subgenotypes have distinct geographical distributions, and have been shown to differ with regard to clinical outcome, prognosis, and response to interferon treatment. Infection with subgenotype A2 is frequently associated with high viral load, resulting in acute infection via horizontal transmission. Genotypes A and B are more sensitive to interferon treatment than genotypes D and C, respectively. Genotype B is more frequent in acute hepatitis than genotype C, whereas genotype C （C2） is more frequently associated with an increased risk of hepatocellular carcinoma （HCC）, mostly cirrhotic, as compared with genotype B （B2）. Genotype mixture is associated with high viral load and worse outcome of HBV infection. HBV mutations in the S genes, especially amino acids substitution at position 145 （G145R）, are associated with immune escape, whereas mutations in the PreS or S genes which impair HBsAg secretion could present a risk to blood safety. HBV variants harboring mutations in the viral polymerase gene that confer resistance to nucleoside analogs may be selected during antiviral therapy. Different genotypes have distinct mutation patterns in the PreS and EnhH/BCP/Precore regions. PreS deletions, C1653T, T1753V, and A1762T/G1764A are associated with an increased risk of HCC. HCC- associated HBV mutants may not transmit via motherto-child transmission, and are likely generated during HBV-induced pathogenesis. Examination of HBV mutations alone or in combination and host genetic suscep-tibility will be helpful in classifying the HBV-infected subjects who will develop HCC and need active antiviral treatments.

Heme oxygenase-1 system and gastrointestinal inflammation:A short review

Heme oxygenase-1(HO-1) system catalyzes heme to biologically active products:carbon monoxide,biliverdin/bilirubin and free iron.It is involved in maintaining cellular homeostasis and many physiological and pathophysiological processes.A growing body of evidence indicates that HO-1 activation may play an important protective role in acute and chronic inflammation of gastrointestinal tract.This review focuses on the current understanding of the physiological significance of HO-1 induction and its possible roles in the gastrointestinal inflammation studied to date.The ability to upregulate HO-1 by pharmacological means or using gene therapy may offer therapeutic strategies for gastrointestinal inflammation in the future.

Mechanistic basis and clinical relevance of the role of transforming growth factor-β in cancer

Transforming growth factor-β(TGF-β) is a key factor in cancer development and progression. TGF-β can suppress tumorigenesis by inhibiting cell cycle progression and stimulating apoptosis in early stages of cancer progression. However, TGF-β can modulate cancer-related processes, such as cell invasion, distant metastasis, and microenvironment modification that may be used by cancer cells to their advantage in late stages. Corresponding mechanisms include angiogenesis promotion, anti-tumor immunity suppression, and epithelial-to-mesenchymal transition(EMT) induction. The correlation between TGF-β expression and cancer prognosis has also been extensively investigated. Results suggest that TGF-β pathway can be targeted to treat cancer; as such, the feasibility of this treatment is investigated in clinical trials.

Overexpression of DNA methyltransferase 1 and its biological significance in primary hepatocellular carcinoma

AIM： To explore the relationship between DNA methyltransferase 1 （DNMT1） and hepatitis B virus （HBV）-related hepatocellular carcinoma （HCC） and its biological significance in primary HCC. METHODS： We carried out an immunohistochemical examination of DNMT1 in both HCC and paired nonneoplastic liver tissues from Chinese subjects. DNMT1 mRNA was further examined in HCC cell lines by real-time PCR. We inhibited DNMT1 using siRNA and detected the effect of depletion of DNMT1 on cell proliferation ability and cell apoptosis in the HCC celt line SMMC-7721. RESULTS： DNMT1 protein expression was increased in HCCs compared to histologically normal nonneoplastic liver tissues and the incidence of DNMT1 immunoreactivity in HCCs correlated significantly with poor tumor differentiation （P = 0.014）. There were more cases with DNMT1 overexpression in HCC with HBV （42.85%） than in HCC without HBV （28.57%）. However, no significant difference in DNMT1 expression was found in HBV-positive and HBV-negative cases in the Chinese HCC group. There was a trend that DNMT1 RNA expression increased more in HCC cell lines than in pericarcinoma cell lines and normal liver cell lines. In addition, we inhibited DNMT1 using siRNA in the SMMC-7721 HCC cell line and found depletion of DNMT1 suppressed cells growth independent of expression of proliferating cell nuclear antigen （PCNA）, even in HCC cell lines where DNMT1 was stably decreased. CONCLUSION： The findings implied that DNMT1 plays a key role in HBV-retated hepatocellular tumorigenesis. Depletion of DNMT1 mediates growth suppression in SMMC-7721 cells.

The possible effects on the future management of local Italian authorities following the use of financial derivative instruments

The appeal from municipalities, provinces and regions to financial derivative instruments is tied to the need of overcoming the situations in a state of urgency inherent in a balance. On average, one local Italian authority in twenty has decided to underwrite a derivative product, giving life to a number of contracts that had a value of over 35 billion euro with an average value of 6.5 million for each contract until 2007. The boom of swaps has, since 2000 on, experienced a peak period from 2003 to the end of 2005, in which the Euribor rate touched a very low level, maintained itself for long periods at around 2% and fallen in some cases even under this value. Many of the contracts completed before 2006, which link the debt of local authorities to variable rates, but also many of those completed from 2006 onwards that moved debt onto fixed rate, which are now a source of loss for the balance of local authorities that have underwritten them. In the 2002-2008 period, the number of the stipulation of contracts local authorities reported to the Ministry of Economy and Finance is about 900, corresponding to more or less 150 per year, which affected 18 regions, 44 provinces, 532 municipalities and 4 mountain commtmities, for a total of 594 authorities. Therefore, the local authorities have approached the derivative instruments in an often approximate way without a real awareness, both for the conditions that were being negotiated and the effects that they would have produced in perspective. The purpose of this work is to highlight the consequences of the use of derivative instruments on the future management of local authorities.

Reflection--The Story of Water

Starting from the fact that water is quite arguably the source of life, the authors agreed to set up a project on water and name it： ＂REFLECTION＂. Particular focus was placed on the following issues： water in nature, importance of water in human life, physical and chemical properties of water, protection of water in nature. The aim of the project was to make students aware of the importance of water for health as well as to help them develop a rational relationship towards drinking water. In order to find answers to the issues raised, the authors designed worksheets, PowerPoint presentations, educational games （ecological postcards, dominoes, memory games, etc.）. The authors even tried our hand at making a comic strip. Students learned about the influence of water on health, as well as about water content in particular foods. The long-term goal of the project is to introduce children to scientific approach and methodology. Through active participation and dialogue, students discover cooperative learning and acquire skills that will be beneficial to them as well as to the wider community. Working on the project, students＇ evidence that the role of an individual is a key one in building a better world. This insight helps develop their civic skills and attitudes that serve as the starting point for environmental education. The authors made numerous adaptations and implemented individual approach with the goal of training students for independent work and life according to their personal abilities in line with the principles of inclusive education. Students conduct experiments following step-by-step instructions on specially adapted worksheets. Each student gets positive feedback and experiences the joy of success that leads to the development of self-confidence and love of work and learning.

Women＇s Role in Family Business： Evolution and Evidences from a European Case Study

When we look at the possibility of women occupying top management positions, gender stereotypes are still quite strong. Especially in the past, women＇s professional capabilities and competencies were mostly ignored, both in family firms, and in non-family business. Many wives and daughters, and women in general, had played several roles in firms, but often they were invisible, with no consideration and no monetary gain. Women commonly were not respected and they had no chance to show their capabilities （Dumas, 1998）. Even though women CEOs and founders are an emerging phenomenon, nowadays, still many obstacles, stereotypes and mistrust are preventing women from reaching important positions also in family owned business. In today＇s world of family ambition and increasing gender neutrality, women＇s roles encompass higher achievement in organizational hierarchies. Particularly in the last decades, great advancement in the involvement of women in entrepreneurial and managerial roles, especially in family owned businesses, has been achieved, and the situation is changing fast. More and more, wives and daughters are rising to the leadership of family-firms - even in some of the most male-dominated industries （Nelton, 1999）. According to some authors, today women have gone from ＂invisible to invincible＂ （Nelton, 1999）. This paper pursues two main aims： （1） to show the evolution of the women＇s role in family business and to better understand the obstacles/drivers and possible solutions; and （2） to understand the impact of women on family firms considering several aspects such as their leadership styles, and impact on firm＇s strategy, organization, managerialization and performance. In order to summarize the main obstacles and positive aspects concerning the women＇s involvement in family business, we have applied the framework proposed by Martinez Jimenez （2009）. This framework has been used because it helps to better understand which are the obstacles and drivers that impact on the women＇s involvement in family business. The research method is based on the longitudinal analysis of a case study concerning a medium sized family firm operating in the service sector in Europe. The analysis of the case study has confirmed most of the obstacles/weakness and positive aspects/strengths highlighted by the literature. In the period of analysis, an evolution of the role of women among family generations had emerged, as well a less relevant role of obstacles with respect to strengths can be identified.

CLINICAL SIGNIFICANCE OF COMPLETE LEFT BUNDLE BRANCH BLOCK IN DILATED CARDIOMYOPATHY

Clinical, electrocardiographic and echocardiographic findings in 64 patients with dilated cardiomyopathy were retrospectively studied. Compared with 51 patients without complete left bundle branch block (CLBBB), 13 patients with CLBBB had higher New York Heart Association (NYHA) functional class (P<0. 05), increased left ventricular end-diastolic and end-systolic diameters (P<0. 002) and myocardial mass (P<0. 02). severe mitral regurgitation (P<0. 01) and higher mortality rate (P<0. 04). Multivariate stepwise regression analysis revealed that the presence of CLBBB was an independent prognostic factor for patients with dilated cardiomyopathy.

A CDA Approach to Understanding Chinese Basic Education Reform From Sino-US News Reports

It has been about one decade since China takes effect the basic education reform, and this study chooses 14 news reports about Chinese basic education reform in the recent years from both America and China as the research samples, and analyzes the samples from the perspective of critical discourse analysis （CDA） to show whether there are differences in the two countries＇ news reports. The samples in this study are selected from the official websites of the two countries. Among the American news reports, some reports from New York Times and others from CNN; while among the Chinese reports, some are from China Daily and others are from CCTV. Under the theoretical framework of CDA, this paper is based on Fairclough＇s three-dimensional modes, and chooses Halliday＇s systemic-functional grammar as the analytical tool. It aims to reveal the hidden relationship between news reports language and ideology as well as power through the contrastive analysis. Through the analysis it finds out that the power relations and ideologies tend to exist in news reports on the issue of Chinese basic education reform. The purposes of news reports are not only to provide the latest information to readers, but also to influence the readers ideologies and at last even to control the readers＇ ideologies through reading of the very issue

On the Generation of Nominalization and its Ecological Significance in Poetic Language

In consideration of the confused debates about the value of nominalization, this paper tries to explore the original generation of nominalization and analyze its use in poetry. This paper attempts to explore the generation of nominalization from a comprehensive point of view, to distinguish between ＂primary nominalization＂ and ＂ideological nominalization＂, to trace the root of primary nominalization, and to analyze the use of primary nominalization in poetry. Based on these analyses, this paper points out that primary nominalization in poetry is more consonant with the Green grammar, with the undivided, holistic ecological worldview and has ecological significance. However, the ideological nominalization in some other nonliterary formal style is an obstacle to the solution to environment problem, and so we should understand the function of nominalization with its contexts and pay more attention to poetic language.

Genetic and molecular changes in ovarian cancer

Epithelial ovarian cancer represents the most lethal gynecological malignancy in the developed world, and can be divided into five main histological subtypes: high grade serous, endometrioid, clear cell, mucinous and low grade serous. These subtypes represent distinct disease entities, both clinically and at the molecular level. Molecular analysis has revealed significant genetic heterogeneity in ovarian cancer, particularly within the high grade serous subtype. As such, this subtype has been the focus of much research effort to date, revealing molecular subgroups at both the genomic and transcriptomic level that have clinical implications.However, stratification of ovarian cancer patients based on the underlying biology of their disease remains in its infancy. Here, we summarize the molecular changes that characterize the five main ovarian cancer subtypes, highlight potential opportunities for targeted therapeutic intervention and outline priorities for future research.

Study on the Current Physical Quality of Modem College Students and the Countermeasures

In recent years, the unexpected accidents of college students have occurred frequently in the playground. A student in Shanghai Sanda University suddenly fell at tile basketball class at the end of last year. In the same month, a male student in Shanghai East China University fell on the ground when taking part in the physical test of lkm running, and then passed away after the rescue was not valid. In this paper, the physical quality of the current college students is discussed on the basis of studying college students＇ quality education. This study is expected to play a role in reference.

A Deep-Ecological Reading of William Wordsworth＇s Poetry

From the 1960s, the increasingly serious ecological crisis gave rise to ecocriticism. William Wordsworth （1770-1850）, a representative of romantic poets, composes substantial poems to eulogize nature and to encourage equality and harmony between nature and human beings. From the angle of deep ecology, a branch of ecological study, this paper aims to analyze the ecological consciousness conveyed in Wordsworth＇s poetry. It analyzes the adverse impacts of industrialization on nature and man in Wordsworth＇s poetry. It elaborates further on ecological thoughts in Wordsworth＇s poetry. And finally, it summarizes how Wordsworth criticizes industrialization in his poetry and how he expresses his ecological thoughts--ecological equilibrium, social equality and harmony, and nature preservation

Nature of Valuational Consciousness in Good Life

I make an attempt in the paper to argue in favor of the person-centered view of good life, where becoming a good person involves seeking to qualitatively transform oneself into a worthy human being. I maintain that becoming fully a person and respecting others as persons are achievements that are not assured for all of us. Thus, for the purpose I prepare the ground for an account of good life that rests on valuational consciousness. I propose that one may ascribe valuational consciousness to a person who is a value-sensitive rational being striving to attain a kind of inner transparency. Evidently, to say that a person has valuational consciousness is to stress the values, which are built into personal consciousness. The life of a person, whether that of truth, courage, nobility, justice, kindness, is a life marked by ego transcending personal consciousness that reaches out to humanity at large. And such a repository of values enables a human being to attain the ideal of good life. The ideal of good life, I contend, consists of attaining the higher order posture of selflessness--a posture of inner transparency. It is to shake off the egocentric partiality that characterizes our usual attitudinal stance towards one another.

Quality of ulcer healing in gastrointestinal tract:Its pathophysiology and clinical relevance

In this paper, we review the concept of quality of ulcer healing （QOUH） in the gastrointestinal tract and its role in the ulcer recurrence. In the past, peptic ulcer disease （PUD） has been a chronic disease with a cycle of repeated healing/remission and recurrence. The main etiological factor of PUD is Helicobacter pylori （H. pylorl~, which is also the cause of ulcer recur- rence. However, H. pylori-negative ulcers are pres- ent in 12%-20% of patients; they also recur and are on occasion intractable. QOUH focuses on the fact that mucosal and submucosal structures within ulcer scars are incompletely regenerated. Within the scars of healed ulcers, regenerated tissue is immature and with distorted architecture, suggesting poor QOUH. The abnormalities in mucosal regeneration can be the basis for ulcer recurrence. Our studies have shown that persistence of macrophages in the regenerated area plays a key role in ulcer recurrence. Our studies in a rat model of ulcer recurrence have indicated that proinflammatory cytokines trigger activation of macro- phages, which in turn produce increased amounts of cytokines and chemokines, which attract neutrophils to the regenerated area. Neutrophils release proteolytic enzymes that destroy the tissue, resulting in ulcer re- currence. Another important factor in poor QOUH can be deficiency of endogenous prostaglandins and a defi- ciency and/or an imbalance of endogenous growth fac- tors. Topically active mucosal protective and antiulcer drugs promote high QOUH and reduce inflammatory cell infiltration in the ulcer scar. In addition to PUD, the concept of QOUH is likely applicable to inflammatory bowel diseases including Crohn＇s disease and ulcer- ative colitis.

Clinical significance of Smac expression on non-small cell lung cancers

Objective:The aim of our study was to investigate the clinical significance of Smac(second mitochondria-derived activator of caspase) expression on non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC).Methods:The expression of Smac was evaluated on RNA and protein level in tumor tissues.The expression of Smac mRNA was examined by RT-PCR in 59 samples of tumor tissues and matched normal lung tissues.The expression of Smac protein was examined by IHC in 213 cancer tissues.Results:The positive rate of Smac mRNA was found in 59.3% of cancer tissues,but only in 30.5% of matched normal tissues(P<0.05).The positive rate of Smac protein was 76.5%.The expression of Smac in stage II disease was significantly higher than that in stage I disease(P=0.001).The survival of patients with Smac overexpression was significantly shorter than those who were negative.Conclusion:Smac might be involved in the progression of NSCLC,the biologic significance of Smac in primary lung cancer needs further study.

A dynamic optimization model of an integrated coal supply chain system and its application

Various nodes,logistics,capital flows,and information flows are required to make systematic decisions concerning the operation of an integrated coal supply system. We describe a quantitative analysis of such a system. A dynamic optimization model of the supply chain is developed. It has achieved optimal system profit under conditions guaranteeing a certain level of customer satisfaction. Applying this model to coal production of the Xuzhou coal mines allows recommendations for a more systematic use of washing and processing,transportation and sale resources for commercial coal production to be made. The results show that this model,which is scientific and effective,has an important value for making reasonable decisions related to complex coal enterprises.
