A mathematical energy coupling model was developed to analyze the light transmission in the keyhole and energy distribution on the keyhole wall.The main characteristics of the model include:1) a prototype of the key...A mathematical energy coupling model was developed to analyze the light transmission in the keyhole and energy distribution on the keyhole wall.The main characteristics of the model include:1) a prototype of the keyhole and the inverse Bremsstrahlung absorption coefficient in the keyhole plasma are obtained from the experiments;2) instead of using a parallel incident beam,a focused laser beam with real Gaussian intensity distribution is implemented;3) both Fresnel absorption and inverse Bremsstrahlung absorption during multiple reflections are considered.The calculation results show that the distribution of absorbed laser intensity by the keyhole wall is not uniform.The maximum laser energy is absorbed by the bottom of the keyhole,although no rays irradiate directly onto the bottom.According to analysis of beam focusing characteristics,the location of the focal plane plays a more important role in the laser energy absorption by the front wall than by the rear wall.展开更多
Isotropic consolidation test and consolidated-undrained triaxial test were first undertaken to obtain the parameters of the modified cam-clay(MCC)model and the behavior of natural clayey soil.Then,for the first time,n...Isotropic consolidation test and consolidated-undrained triaxial test were first undertaken to obtain the parameters of the modified cam-clay(MCC)model and the behavior of natural clayey soil.Then,for the first time,numerical simulation of the two tests was performed by three-dimensional finite element method(FEM)using ABAQUS program.The consolidated-drained triaxial test was also simulated by FEM and compared with theoretical results of MCC model.Especially,the behaviors of MCC model during unloading and reloading were analyzed in detail by FEM.The analysis and comparison indicate that the MCC model is able to accurately describe many features of the mechanical behavior of the soil in isotropic consolidation test and consolidated-drained triaxial test.And the MCC model can well describe the variation of excess pore water pressure with the development of axial strain in consolidated-undrained triaxial test,but its ability to predict the relationship between axial strain and shear stress is relatively poor.The comparison also shows that FEM solutions of the MCC model are basically identical to the theoretical ones.In addition,Mandel-Cryer effect unable to be discovered by the conventional triaxial test in laboratories was disclosed by FEM.The analysis of unloading-reloading by FEM demonstrates that the MCC model disobeys the law of energy conservation under the cyclic loading condition if the elastic shear modulus is linearly pressure-dependent.展开更多
In the present paper, 126 patients with neuralgia involving the mandibular branch of trigeminal nerve were treated mainly by puncturing the mental foramen and the mandibular foramen. The two foramina are both located ...In the present paper, 126 patients with neuralgia involving the mandibular branch of trigeminal nerve were treated mainly by puncturing the mental foramen and the mandibular foramen. The two foramina are both located in the focus through which the Stomach Channel of Foot Yangming passes. Among the 126 patients, 42 were attributed to the light type, 61 to the moderate type one and the other 23 to serious type. Acupuncture treatment was given once daily, 30 min every time, with 10 days being a therapeutic course. After 3 courses of treatment, results showed that 29 (69.1%) light type cases, 35(57.4%) moderate type cases and 6 (26.1%) serious type cases were cured. It displays that the less serious the symptom, the higher is the cure rate, and the shorter the duration of disease, the better is the therapeutic effect.展开更多
