Methods: A convenient sample of 90 moderately severe acute pancreatitis was selected from March 2017 to December 2017 in the comprehensive hospital with third grade in Tianjin. The patients were divided into group A (acupoint application combined with microwave treatment), group B (acupoint application) and group C (routine nursing). Thirty patients were included in each group. This study need to get the informed consent of the patients. Acupoint application combined with microwave treatment was used, basing on routine nursing measures in group A. Acupoint application was used by the same way and the same traditional Chinese medicine ,basing on routine nursing measures in group B. Routine nursing used in group C. C-reactive protein and the score of intestinal function were measured on 3 th day, 7 th day and 10 th day, after intervention. To record the effective ratio of the treatment after 10 days of intervention. Results: There are significant statistical difference among the three group after intervention (P < 0.05). Conclusion: In some way, acupoint application combined with microwave treatment are able to decrease the time about the recovery of intestinal barrier dysfunction in moderately severe acute pancreatitis and to alleviate the suffering of patients.展开更多

Methods: Eighty patien...Objective: To observe the clinical effect of warm moxibustion therapy and acupoint application therapy on recovery of gastrointestinal functions in postoperative patients with colorectal cancer. Methods: Eighty patients with colorectal cancer were admitted to Department of Gastrointestinal surgery Tianjin Nankai Hospital. A retrospective analysis of 20 cases as control group. 60 patients near admitted and the use of randomly divided into three treatment groups, 20 cases of each group. The control group received conventional therapy and nursing, and three treatment groups respectively received warm moxibustion therapy, acupoint application therapy and both the two methods above together additionally. Then compared the intervention effect of them. Results: General information on four groups of comparison, there was no statistics significance (P > 0.05), between the four groups were comparable. Analysis of variance of repeated measures indicated that the interaction effect of intervention time and grouping had significant influence on Chinese medicine symptom. Two groups of the Chinese medicine symptom integral changing are inconsistent (P < 0.01). Chinese medicine symptom efficacy total effective rate of treatment group was superior to the control group (P < 0.01). And first postoperative exhaust time, defecating time and eating time were earlier than control group (P < 0.01). Conclusion: Warm moxibustion therapy and acupoint application therapy had certain clinical effect on the recovery of gastrointestinal function in patients with colorectal cancer after operation, and worthy of further application in clinical practice.展开更多

Methods: Ninety...Objective: To explore and analyze the effect of moxibustion combined with acupoint application on enteral nutrition tolerance, nutritional status and comfort in patients with severe acute pancreatitis. Methods: Ninety-six patients who were hospitalized in a third-grade class-A general hospital in Tianjin were selected and divided into three groups: A, B, and C, each with 32 cases. Group A uses usual treatment and care methods, group B implements acupoint application treatment, group C was treated with moxibustion on the basis of acupoint application. Intervention time is from the first day of the enteral nutrition to the 7th day, the tolerance of enteral nutrition in patients 7 days during the intervention and the level of serum albumin and pre-protein in the nutritional indicators of patients on day 3 of intervention and intervention on day 7, as well as the comfort level of the patients on the 7th day of intervention were observed and recorded. Results:(1) The difference in the incidence of enteral nutrition intolerance among the three groups was significantly statistical (P < 0.05). The incidence of enteral nutrition intolerance in group C was lower than that in group B (P < 0.05) and group A (P < 0.05). There was no significant difference between group B and group C (P > 0.05).(2) Nutritional index levels of three groups of patients, on the third day of intervention, the serum albumin and serum pre-protein were significantly statistical (P < 0.05). Comparing the two groups, the serum albumin level in group A was significantly different from that in group B (P < 0.05). There was significant difference between group A and group C (P < 0.05). There was no significant difference between the group and the group C (P > 0.05). On the 7th day of intervention, the difference between group A and group B was statistically significant (P < 0.05). There was a statistically significant difference between group A and group C (P < 0.05), group B and group C (P < 0.05). Pre-protein levels in three groups, there was a significantly statistical difference between intervention days 3 and 7 (P < 0.05), further comparison was made between the two groups. On the third day of intervention, there were significant differences between group A and group B, group A and group C, group B and group C (P < 0.05). On the 7th day of intervention, there were significant differences between group A and group B, group A and group C, group B and group C (P < 0.05).(3) On the 7th day of intervention, the comfort level of the three groups was significantly different (P < 0.05). Further comparison between the two groups was made. The comfort score of group C was higher than that of group B and group A (P < 0.05), and the score of group B was higher than group A (P < 0.05). Conclusion: Moxibustion combined with acupoint application can effectively improve the tolerance level of enteral nutrition and improve the nutritional status of patients and increase patient comfort.展开更多

Methods: Ninety patients undergoing laparoscopic cholecystectomy were randomly divided into three groups: control group, intervention group 1 and intervention group 2. All three groups received routine perioperative nursing. Intervention group 1 and group 2 were given acupoint application of Chinese medicine at 0.5 h and 6 h after operation, and the waveform was monitored by electrogastrogram on the 1st day before operation and 3 d after operation. The first anal exhaust time, defecation time, abdominal distension and electrogastrogram changes were analyzed and compared in the three groups. Results: Compared with the first exhaust time and defecation time after operation, the intervention group 1 was earlier than the intervention group 2, and the intervention group 2 was earlier than the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05). The average frequency, waveform response area and average amplitude of the intervention group 1 were better than those of the intervention group 2, and the intervention group 2 was better than the control group (P < 0.05). Conclusion: Administration of Chinese medicine acupoint application within 0.5 hours after operation can promote the recovery of gastrointestinal function and improve gastric motility in patients undergoing abdominal surgery, and the curative effect is significant and safe.展开更多

Methods Sixty-two cases were randomly divided into 2 groups, named acupoint application group (32 cases) and Chinese herb group (30 cases). In the acupoint application group, Chinese herbal plaster was applied on Tianshu (天枢 ST 25), Gufnyuan (关元 CV 4) and Qihai (气海 CV 6). In the Chinese herb group, Congrong Tongbian Koufuye (苁蓉通便口服液) was administered orally. The efficacy was observed after 7 days treatment. Results The total effective rate was 81.3% (26/32) in the acupoint application group and was 60.0% (18/30) in the Chinese herb group, indicating significant statistical difference in comparison (P〈0.05). The significant difference presented in the time of the first defecation after treatment between two groups (P〈0.05). The defecation promotion in the acupoint appli- cation group was superior to that in the Chinese herb group. The significant difference resulted in the comparison of clinical symptom integral before and after treatment in two groups (P〈0. 05). The group comparison did not present significant difference. Conclusion Acupoint application of Chinese herbs has definite efficacy on constipation. It is convenient in operation, no pain and less toxic side effect and good in compliance.展开更多

Methods One hundred and seven cases of windstroke were randomized into acupoint application with puncture group (55 cases) and puncture group (52 cases). The total effective rate, the National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) scores, Barthel index score and recurrence rates within one year were observed before and after treatment in two groups. Results The total effective rate was 81.8% in acupoint application with puncture group and 44.2% in puncture group, with statistical significant difference (P〈0 01) ; the significant differences were presented statistically in comparison of NIHSS and Barthel between the two groups after treatment, and in both groups before and after treatment (P〈0.01), and presented as well in comparison of recurrence rates within one year between the two groups (P〈0.05). Conclusion Weight intervention helps to not only recover the function of affected extremities, but also probably be good for reducing recurrence rate of windstroke.展开更多

Methods: Seventy eligible patients with post-stroke const...Objective: To observe the prevention effect of Tui-pushing the Large Intestine Meridian plus point sticking at Tianshu(ST 25) for post-stroke constipation. Methods: Seventy eligible patients with post-stroke constipation were randomized into a treatment group and a control group, 35 cases in each group. Both groups were intervened by conventional treatment and care in Western medicine, while the treatment group was also by Tui-pushing the Large Intestine Meridian and point sticking at Tianshu(ST 25). The treatment lasted for 14 d. Therapeutic efficacy was evaluated by the first defecation time, constipation incidence and Chinese stroke scale(CSS) score. Results: After treatment, the first defecation time was(1.86 ± 0.74) d in the treatment group, shorter than(2.77 ± 0.83) d in the control group; constipation incidence was 14.3% in the treatment group, significantly lower than 37.1% in the control group, and the between-group differences in the two items were statistically significant(both P〈0.05). CSS score in both groups dropped significantly after treatment(both P〈0.05); the improvement in the treatment group was better than that in the control group, and the inter-group difference was statistically significant(P〈0.05). Conclusion: Tui-pushing the Large Intestine Meridian plus point sticking at Tianshu(ST 25) can effectively prevent post-stroke constipation, and can also promote the rehabilitation of nerve functions.展开更多

Methods: A total of 120 cases were allocated into an observation group, a warm needling group and an acupoint sticking group according to the random number table, with 40 cases in each group. Cases in the observation group received warm needling moxibustion plus acupoint sticking therapy;cases in the warm needling group received the same warm needling moxibustion in the observation group;cases in the acupoint sticking group received the same acupoint sticking therapy in the observation group. The scores of Japanese Orthopaedic Association (JOA) and visual analog scale (VAS) were recorded before and after treatment. Results: The total effective rate was 95.0% in the observation group, versus 77.5% in the warm needling group and 75.0% in the acupoint sticking group (both P<0.05). Inter-group differences in JOA and VAS between the observation group and the other two groups were statistically significant (all P<0.05). Conclusion: Warm needling moxibustion plus acupoint sticking therapy is effective in treating cervical radiculopathy, and it can significantly alleviate pain and enhance clinical efficacy, and thus is worth clinical popularization.展开更多

Methods: A total of 98 patients with cervical radiculopathy were randomly divided into an observation group and a control group based on the random digital table. The observation group (50 cases) was treated by acupuncture plus external medicine application and the control group (48 cases) was treated by acupuncture alone. The patients received the treatment every day. Ten sessions made a course. Cervical spondylosis symptom scale was used to assess the cases before and after the treatment. The clinical efficacy was compared between the two groups after the treatment. Results: The total effective rate was 98.1% in the observation group versus 87.6% in the control group with a statistically significant difference between the two groups (P〈0.05). The cure rate was 52.0% in the observation group versus 18.8% in the control group with a significant difference between the two groups (P〈0.05). There was no significant difference in the score of cervical spondylosis symptom scale between the two groups before the treatment (P〉0.05). It increased with a significant difference in both groups after the treatment (both P〈0.05), while a significant difference was found in the results between the two groups after the treatment (P〈0.05). Conclusion: Acupuncture plus external medicine application is more effective than acupuncture alone for treating cervical radiculopathy. The method also effectively improves the clinical symptoms.展开更多

Methods: 300 cases of asthma out-patients in a remission period were divided into a treatment group (150 cases) and a control group (150 cases). The control group was given the basic treatment, and the treatment group was given external application on the acupoints in July and December every year, as well as the basic treatment of the control group, with continuous treatment for 2 years as one course. ECP, 6-keto-PGF 1, and TXB2 were checked every year in the patients of the two groups, and an Asthma Control Test Table was filled in for comparative analysis. Results: After the external application on the acupoints, the frequency of seizures, dyspnea and frequency of medication administration of the patients had been more reduced than those in the control group, indicating that the levels of ECP in inflammation of air passage and of 6-eto-GF 1 and TXB2 were obviously improved (P〈0.05). Conclusion: The herbal application on the acupoints is effective and positively influential to the improvement of the symptoms in the asthma patients and to ECP, 6-keto-PGF 1, and TXB2 remarkably.展开更多

Conclusion: Tui-pushing the Large Intestine Meridian plus point sticking at Tianshu(ST 25) can effectively prevent post-stroke constipation, and can also promote the rehabilitation of nerve functions.
文摘Objective: To observe the clinical effect of warm needling moxibustion plus acupoint sticking therapy for cervical radiculopathy. Methods: A total of 120 cases were allocated into an observation group, a warm needling group and an acupoint sticking group according to the random number table, with 40 cases in each group. Cases in the observation group received warm needling moxibustion plus acupoint sticking therapy;cases in the warm needling group received the same warm needling moxibustion in the observation group;cases in the acupoint sticking group received the same acupoint sticking therapy in the observation group. The scores of Japanese Orthopaedic Association (JOA) and visual analog scale (VAS) were recorded before and after treatment. Results: The total effective rate was 95.0% in the observation group, versus 77.5% in the warm needling group and 75.0% in the acupoint sticking group (both P<0.05). Inter-group differences in JOA and VAS between the observation group and the other two groups were statistically significant (all P<0.05). Conclusion: Warm needling moxibustion plus acupoint sticking therapy is effective in treating cervical radiculopathy, and it can significantly alleviate pain and enhance clinical efficacy, and thus is worth clinical popularization.
文摘Objective: To observe the clinical effects of acupuncture plus external medicine application for cervical radiculopathy. Methods: A total of 98 patients with cervical radiculopathy were randomly divided into an observation group and a control group based on the random digital table. The observation group (50 cases) was treated by acupuncture plus external medicine application and the control group (48 cases) was treated by acupuncture alone. The patients received the treatment every day. Ten sessions made a course. Cervical spondylosis symptom scale was used to assess the cases before and after the treatment. The clinical efficacy was compared between the two groups after the treatment. Results: The total effective rate was 98.1% in the observation group versus 87.6% in the control group with a statistically significant difference between the two groups (P〈0.05). The cure rate was 52.0% in the observation group versus 18.8% in the control group with a significant difference between the two groups (P〈0.05). There was no significant difference in the score of cervical spondylosis symptom scale between the two groups before the treatment (P〉0.05). It increased with a significant difference in both groups after the treatment (both P〈0.05), while a significant difference was found in the results between the two groups after the treatment (P〈0.05). Conclusion: Acupuncture plus external medicine application is more effective than acupuncture alone for treating cervical radiculopathy. The method also effectively improves the clinical symptoms.
文摘Objective: To observe the influence of acupoint application therapy on serum eosinophilic granulocyte cationic protein (ECP), 6 keto prostaglandin F 1 (6-keto-PGF 1) and thromboxane B2 (TXB2). Methods: 300 cases of asthma out-patients in a remission period were divided into a treatment group (150 cases) and a control group (150 cases). The control group was given the basic treatment, and the treatment group was given external application on the acupoints in July and December every year, as well as the basic treatment of the control group, with continuous treatment for 2 years as one course. ECP, 6-keto-PGF 1, and TXB2 were checked every year in the patients of the two groups, and an Asthma Control Test Table was filled in for comparative analysis. Results: After the external application on the acupoints, the frequency of seizures, dyspnea and frequency of medication administration of the patients had been more reduced than those in the control group, indicating that the levels of ECP in inflammation of air passage and of 6-eto-GF 1 and TXB2 were obviously improved (P〈0.05). Conclusion: The herbal application on the acupoints is effective and positively influential to the improvement of the symptoms in the asthma patients and to ECP, 6-keto-PGF 1, and TXB2 remarkably.
