Spatiotemporal mapping of(ultra‐)mafic magmatic mine areas:Implications of economic and political realities in China

The spatiotemporal extension/expansion of mine areas is affected by multiple factors.So far,very little has been done to examine the interaction between mine areas and political or economic realities.The(ultra‐)mafic magmatic mines in China played a specific role in supporting national development and providing an ideal research subject for monitoring their interrelationship.In this study,remote sensing and mining‐related GIS data were used to identify and analyze 1233(ultra‐)mafic magmatic mine area polygons in China,which covered approximately 322.96 km2 of land and included a V–Ti–Fe mine,a copper–nickel mine,a chromite mine,an asbestos mine,and a diamond mine.It was found that(1)the areal expansion of mines is significantly related to the mine types,perimeter,topography,and population density.(2)The mine area variation also reflects market and policy realities.The temporal expansion of the mine area from 2010 to 2020 followed an S‐shaped pattern(with the turning point occurring in 2014),closely related to iron overcapacity and tightened mining policies.(3)The complexity(D)of the mine area may reflect mine design and excavation practices.To be specific,lower D indicates early‐stage or artisanal/small‐scale mining,whereas higher D represents large‐scale mining.This study demonstrates that the detailed mapping of mine land can serve as an indicator to implement miningrelated market and policy changes.The(ultra‐)mafic mines area data set can be accessed at https://zenodo.org/record/7636616#.Y-p0uXaZOa0. 展开更多

Anisotropy of Trabecular Bone from Ultra-Distal Radius Digital X-Ray Imaging: Effects on Bone Mineral Density and Age

Background: When applied to trabecular bone X-ray images, the anisotropic properties of trabeculae located at ultra-distal radius were investigated by using the trabecular bone scores (TBS) calculated along directions parallel and perpendicular to the forearm. Methodology: Data from more than two hundred subjects were studied retrospectively. A DXA (GE Lunar Prodigy) scan of the forearm was performed on each subject to measure the bone mineral density (BMD) value at the location of ultra-distal radius, and an X-ray digital image of the same forearm was taken on the same day. The values of trabecular bone score along the direction perpendicular to the forearm, TBS<sub>x</sub>, and along the direction parallel to the forearm, TBS<sub>y</sub>, were calculated respectively. The statistics of TBS<sub>x</sub> and TBS<sub>y</sub> were calculated, and the anisotropy of the trabecular bone, which was defined as the ratio of TBS<sub>y</sub> to TBS<sub>x</sub> and changed with subjects’ BMD and age, was reported and analyzed. Results: The results show that the correlation coefficient between TBS<sub>x</sub> and TBS<sub>y</sub> was 0.72 (p BMD and age was reported. The results showed that decreased trabecular bone anisotropy was associated with deceased BMD and increased age in the subject group. Conclusions: This study shows that decreased trabecular bone anisotropy was associated with decreased BMD and increased age. 展开更多

The aim and scope of the present study were to determine the efficacy of UFFA in evaluating the workability,static and dynamic stabilization properties,retention period,and slump loss of SCC systems in their fresh state,as well as their compressive strength at various ages.Microstructure(SEM and XRD)of blended SCC systems were studied.Also,the thermogravimetry behavior of blended SCC specimens were researched.According to the evaluated results,incorporating up to 20%UFFA into fresh concrete improved its performance due to its engineered fine particle size and spherical geometry,both of which contribute to the enhancement of characteristics.Blends of 25%and 30%of UFFA show effect on the water-binder ratio and chemical enhancer dosage,resulting in a loss of homogeneity in fresh SCC systems.The reduced particle size,increased amorphous content,and increased surface area all contribute to the pozzolanic reactivity of the early and later ages,resulting in denser packing and thus an increase in compressive strength.The experimental results indicate that UFFA enhances the properties of SCC in both its fresh and hardened states,which can be attributed to the particles’fineness and their relative effect on SCC. 展开更多

目的探讨Xpert MTB/RIF Ultra在快速检测结核分枝杆菌和利福平耐药中的应用价值。方法收集2019年12月至2020年5月就诊于福州肺科医院的447例疑似肺结核患者的痰标本,分别进行MGIT960液体培养及药敏、Xpert MTB/RIF(Xpert)和Xpert Ultra... 目的探讨Xpert MTB/RIF Ultra在快速检测结核分枝杆菌和利福平耐药中的应用价值。方法收集2019年12月至2020年5月就诊于福州肺科医院的447例疑似肺结核患者的痰标本,分别进行MGIT960液体培养及药敏、Xpert MTB/RIF(Xpert)和Xpert Ultra检测,将检出MTB的菌株和痰液进行rpoB基因Sanger测序。以临床诊断结果为参照,比较MGIT960液体培养、Xpert、Xpert Ultra检测MTB的敏感度和特异度;分别以液体药敏和测序结果为金标准,评价Xpert Ultra检测MTB利福平耐药性的效能。结果以临床确诊为参照,Xpert Ultra敏感度高于液体培养和Xpert,差异有统计学意义(χ^(2)=28.97、164.86,P均<0.05),特异度与液体培养和Xpert比较差异无统计学意义(P均>0.05)。分别以利福平液体药敏表型结果和rpoB基因测序结果为金标准,Xpert Ultra的敏感度为88.89%和93.75%。同时经测序分析,35例利福平耐药样本中,rpoB的531位点突变最为常见,占48.57%。结论Xpert Ultra能快速检测痰液中的MTB及其利福平耐药性,对肺结核早期诊疗有良好的临床应用价值,适合在各级实验室推广。 展开更多

In this paper,we propose a low complexity spectrum resource allocation scheme cross the access points(APs)for the ultra dense networks(UDNs),in which all the APs are divided into several AP groups(APGs)and the total bandwidth is divided into several narrow band spectrum resources and each spectrum resource is allocated to APGs independently to decrease the interference among the cells.Furthermore,we investigate the joint spectrum and power allocation problem in UDNs to maximize the overall throughput.The problem is formulated as a mixed-integer nonconvex optimization(MINCP)problem which is difficult to solve in general.The joint optimization problem is decomposed into two subproblems in terms of the spectrum allocation and power allocation respectively.For the spectrum allocation,we model it as a auction problem and a combinatorial auction approach is proposed to tackle it.In addition,the DC programming method is adopted to optimize the power allocation subproblem.To decrease the signaling and computational overhead,we propose a distributed algorithm based on the Lagrangian dual method.Simulation results illustrate that the proposed algorithm can effectively improve the system throughput. 展开更多

Subducting passive continental margins with crustal (ultra)mafic intrusions: An underappreciated mechanism for recycling water back into the mantle

It is well known that outer rise bending-assisted oceanic plate hydration is an important mechanism for transporting substantial amounts of water into the mantle.A key question is:Are there other equally or more important water transport mechanisms?Here we propose,for the first time,that subducting passive continental margins,particularly those with crustal(ultra)mafic intrusions,play a critical role in recycling water back into the mantle.Evidence for this mechanism is the exceptionally high outer rise seismicity observed in a subducting passive continental margin(i.e.,the northeastern South China Sea continental margin)near the northern Manila trench,characterized by a high-velocity lower crust that has been attributed to(ultra)mafic intrusions.Our interpretation of this correlation between high outer rise seismicity and lower crust(ultra)mafic intrusions is that(ultra)mafic intrusions alter the crustal rheology and increase brittle deformation in the lower crust in this region,thereby promoting lithospheric fracturing and plate hydration,which is evidenced by increased outer rise seismicity. 展开更多

Mutual coupling reduction or isolation enhancement in antenna arrays is an important area of research as it severely affects the performance of an antenna.In this paper,a new type of compact and highly isolated Multiple-Input-Multiple-Output(MIMO)antenna for ultra-wideband(UWB)applications is presented.The design consists of four radiators that are orthogonally positioned and confined to a compact 40×40×0.8 mm3 space.The final antenna design uses an inverted L shape partial ground to produce an acceptable reflection coefficient(S11<−10 dB)in an entire UWB band(3.1–10.6)giga hertz(GHz).Moreover,the inter-element isolation has also been enhanced to>20 db for majority of the UWB band.The antenna was fabricated and tested with the vector network analyzer(VNA)and in an anechoic chamber for scattering parameters and radiation patterns.Furthermore,different MIMO diversity performance metrics are also measured to validate the proposed model.The simulation results and the experimental results from the constructed model agree quite well.The proposed antenna is compared with similar designs in recently published literature for various performance metrics.Because of its low envelope correlation coefficient(ECC<0.1),high diversity gain(DG>9.99 dB),peak gain of 4.6 dB,reduced channel capacity loss(CCL<0.4 b/s/Hz),and average radiation efficiency of over 85%,the proposed MIMO antenna is ideally suited for practical UWB applications. 展开更多

GeneXpert MTB/RIF Ultra has been shown to provide rapid results for detection of MTBC and associated Rifampin resistance, but there is limited data regarding standardized methods for CSF processing on this assay. An ultrahigh performance liquid chromatography-triple quadrupole tandem mass spectrometry(UPLC-MS/MS)was established to quickly and accurately determine the content of oleuropein in cosmetics.The samples were extracted with methanol-aqueous solution,and the mobile phase with methanol-formic acid solution(0.1 mol/L)=40∶60 was separated by Agilent ZORBAX Eclipse Plus C18(2.1 mm×50 mm×1.8μm-Micron)column temperature 30℃,flow rate 0.3 mL/min.The MS end was detected by electrospray negative mode ionization(ESI-)and multiple reaction monitoring(MRM)mode.The results show a good linear relationship in the range of 0.002~5 mg/L,with a correlation coefficient R2 of 0.999,5.Method recovery range from 84.2%~107.6%and the relative standard deviation RSD is 5.8%.The detection time is 5 min,the detection limit is 0.000,6 mg/L,and the limit of quantification is 0.002 mg/L.This method has the advantages of convenient operation,low quantification limit,high precision and good repeatability,and is suitable for measuring the content of oleuropein in many kinds of cosmetics. 展开更多

In ultra-high-dimensional data, it is common for the response variable to be multi-classified. Therefore, this paper proposes a model-free screening method for variables whose response variable is multi-classified from the point of view of introducing Jensen-Shannon divergence to measure the importance of covariates. The idea of the method is to calculate the Jensen-Shannon divergence between the conditional probability distribution of the covariates on a given response variable and the unconditional probability distribution of the covariates, and then use the probabilities of the response variables as weights to calculate the weighted Jensen-Shannon divergence, where a larger weighted Jensen-Shannon divergence means that the covariates are more important. Additionally, we also investigated an adapted version of the method, which is to measure the relationship between the covariates and the response variable using the weighted Jensen-Shannon divergence adjusted by the logarithmic factor of the number of categories when the number of categories in each covariate varies. Then, through both theoretical and simulation experiments, it was demonstrated that the proposed methods have sure screening and ranking consistency properties. Finally, the results from simulation and real-dataset experiments show that in feature screening, the proposed methods investigated are robust in performance and faster in computational speed compared with an existing method. 展开更多

We calculate the production of χ<sub>c</sub> and η<sub>c</sub> by the two-photon process in ultra-peripheral heavy ion collisions at Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider (RHIC) and Large Hadron Collider (LHC) energies. The differential cross section of transverse momentum distribution and rapidity distribution for (H = χ<sub>c</sub> and η<sub>c</sub>), are estimated by using the equivalent photon flux in the impact parameter space. The numerical results indicate that the study of χ<sub>c</sub> and η<sub>c</sub> in ultra-peripheral heavy ion collisions are feasible at RHIC and LHC energies. 展开更多

目的评估超敏结核分枝杆菌和利福平耐药基因检测(XpertUltra)方案检测痰液及支气管肺泡灌洗液(BALF)标本在涂阴肺结核患者中早期、快速诊断的价值。方法选择2020年5月-2021年12月在山东省公共卫生临床中心就诊的痰涂片阴性疑似肺结核患... 目的评估超敏结核分枝杆菌和利福平耐药基因检测(XpertUltra)方案检测痰液及支气管肺泡灌洗液(BALF)标本在涂阴肺结核患者中早期、快速诊断的价值。方法选择2020年5月-2021年12月在山东省公共卫生临床中心就诊的痰涂片阴性疑似肺结核患者93例,其中临床诊断为涂阴肺结核57例,非肺结核36例。收集所有患者的痰液及BALF标本,分别采用Xpert Ultra、GeneXpert MTB/RIF(Xpert)、BACTEC MGIT 960培养(MGIT 960培养)进行检测。以临床诊断为参考标准,评价3种检测方案及相互联合检测痰液及BALF标本时诊断涂阴肺结核的敏感度、特异度及符合率。结果以临床诊断结果为参考标准,Xpert Ultra检测痰液标本对涂阴肺结核诊断的敏感度明显高于Xpert[56.14%(32/57)vs.36.84%(21/57),P=0.03]和MGIT960培养[56.14%(32/57)vs.33.33%(19/57),P=0.014];Xpert Ultra检测BALF标本对涂阴肺结核诊断的敏感度明显高于Xpert[75.44%(43/57)vs.56.14%(32/57),P=0.030]和MGIT960培养[75.44%(43/57)vs.38.60%(22/57),P<0.01]。3种检测方案及相互联合检测痰液标本诊断涂阴肺结核,受试者工作特征(ROC)曲线下面积(AUC)依次为:三者联合(0.807)>Xpert Ultra+Xpert(0.798)>Xpert Ultra+MGIT 960培养(0.789)>Xpert Ultra(0.781)>Xpert(0.684)>MGIT 960培养(0.667);检测BALF标本,AUC依次为:三者联合(0.895)=Xpert Ultra+Xpert(0.895)>XpertUltra+MGIT960培养(0.877)=XpertUltra(0.877)>Xpert(0.781)>MGIT960培养(0.693)。3种检测方案均未在入组患者中检测到利福平耐药。结论Xpert Ultra对早期、快速诊断涂阴肺结核具有较高的临床应用价值;其检测BALF的敏感度高于痰液标本,建议优先选择BALF标本。 展开更多

目的评估超敏结核分枝杆菌和利福平耐药基因(Xpert MTB/RIF Ultra,简称"Xpert Ultra")检测脑脊液(cerebral spinal fluid,CSF)对结核性脑膜炎(tuberculous meningitis,TBM)的诊断价值。方法连续纳入2017年1月至2018年12月首... 目的评估超敏结核分枝杆菌和利福平耐药基因(Xpert MTB/RIF Ultra,简称"Xpert Ultra")检测脑脊液(cerebral spinal fluid,CSF)对结核性脑膜炎(tuberculous meningitis,TBM)的诊断价值。方法连续纳入2017年1月至2018年12月首都医科大学附属北京胸科医院就诊的疑似TBM患者189例,依据入组标准最终纳入151例,其中临床诊断TBM患者106例(包括32例确诊、55例很可能,19例可能),非TBM患者45例。收集所有患者的CSF,评价抗酸染色涂片镜检、BACTEC MGIT 960培养(简称"MGIT 960培养")、GeneXpert MTB/RIF(简称"Xpert")和Xpert Ultra检测CSF对TBM的诊断效能。结果以临床诊断为参考标准,Xpert Ultra对106例临床诊断TBM患者检测的敏感度[(44.3%,47/106)]明显高于Xpert[24.5%(26/106)],差异有统计学意义(χ^(2)=16.000,P<0.01);对76例行CSF培养的TBM患者的检测敏感度[44.7%(34/76)]明显高于MGIT 960培养[18.4%(14/76)],差异有统计学意义(χ^(2)=12.893,P<0.01)。纳入Xpert Ultra检测结果后,诊断TBM的确诊率从30.2%(32/106)上升至50.0%(53/106)。Xpert Ultra对62例培养阴性患者的阳性检出率[38.7%(24/62)]明显高于Xpert[21.0%(13/62)],差异有统计学意义(χ^(2)=7.692,P=0.003)。Xpert和Xpert Ultra对接受抗结核治疗TBM患者CSF的阳性检出率[分别为13.3%(8/60)和20.0%(12/60)]均明显低于未接受抗结核治疗患者[分别为39.1%(18/46)和76.1%(35/46)],差异均有统计学意义(χ^(2)=9.360,P=0.002;χ^(2)=33.189,P<0.01);且Xpert Ultra对未接受抗结核治疗的TBM患者的阳性检出率明显高于Xpert(χ^(2)=15.059,P<0.01)。Xpert Ultra和Xpert同时检出利福平耐药者1例,利福平敏感者5例,与表型药物敏感性试验结果一致。结论 Xpert Ultra检测CSF诊断TBM的敏感度明显高于Xpert和MGIT 960培养;且在培养阴性的TBM患者中,Xpert Ultra阳性检出率明显优于Xpert。Xpert Ultra可快速诊断TBM,值得临床推广应用。 展开更多

目的:通过观察Ultra Q∶YAG玻璃体消融术治疗飞蚊症的长期效果,评价Ultra Q:YAG较传统Nd∶YAG激光的治疗优势。方法:回顾性分析2018-05/2020-01于我院确诊为玻璃体混浊并接受激光玻璃体消融术治疗的112例130眼患者的临床资料。所有患者... 目的:通过观察Ultra Q∶YAG玻璃体消融术治疗飞蚊症的长期效果,评价Ultra Q:YAG较传统Nd∶YAG激光的治疗优势。方法:回顾性分析2018-05/2020-01于我院确诊为玻璃体混浊并接受激光玻璃体消融术治疗的112例130眼患者的临床资料。所有患者均接受了激光玻璃体消融术治疗,根据不同治疗方法分为A、B两组,A组(60例70眼)接受Ultra Q∶YAG玻璃体消融术治疗;B组(52例60眼)接受传统Nd∶YAG激光治疗。根据患者玻璃体混浊的形态将A、B组各分为两亚组:其中A1组45例52眼和B1组30例38眼,玻璃体混浊形态多为Weiss环、絮状、致密膜状;A2组15例18眼和B2组22例22眼,玻璃体混浊形态多为细点状、丝状、网状。比较治疗前后的BCVA,治疗次数差异及主觉症状改善情况。结果:BCVA:治疗前A1组和A2组、B1组和B2组、A组和B组均无差异(P>0.05);A组和B组在治疗后2wk,1mo时均有差异(P<0.001),A1组和A2组在治疗后1、6、12mo均有差异(P=0.019、0.042、<0.001)。A组患者治疗后的主觉症状改善程度优于B组(P=0.006)。A1组治疗后的主觉症状改善程度优于A2组(P<0.001)。Ultra Q∶YAG比传统Nd∶YAG激光所需的激光治疗次数少(P<0.001)。同一种激光方法,不同玻璃体混浊形态,治疗次数无差异(P>0.05)。结论:Ultra Q∶YAG较传统Nd∶YAG激光进行玻璃体消融治疗飞蚊症,更易于操作、更安全、具有更好的主觉症状改善,尤其是对于伴有Weiss环、絮状、致密膜状混浊物的患者。 展开更多
