研究亚稳β型钛合金Ti-6Cr-5Mo-5V-4Al固溶和时效过程中的析出序列及显微组织和拉伸性能之间的关系。在400~450℃时效时,合金析出等温ω相(ω_(iso)),引起高硬化行为和脆性断裂。在450~500℃时效时,随时效时间增加,ω_(iso)相逐渐演化... 研究亚稳β型钛合金Ti-6Cr-5Mo-5V-4Al固溶和时效过程中的析出序列及显微组织和拉伸性能之间的关系。在400~450℃时效时,合金析出等温ω相(ω_(iso)),引起高硬化行为和脆性断裂。在450~500℃时效时,随时效时间增加,ω_(iso)相逐渐演化为次生α相(α_(s))。在更高温度(580~600℃)时效时,ω_(iso)相析出受到抑制,α_(s)相直接从β相析出。由于ω_(iso)相析出,合金在450℃时效12 h时的屈服强度为1368 MPa,伸长率为5.5%。随α_(s)相析出和粗化,合金在600℃时效12 h时的屈服强度为1108 MPa,伸长率提高到15.4%。 展开更多

通过对亚稳β-Ti2448合金进行Gleeble热模拟压缩实验,研究其在单相β区的高温变形机制。结果表明:Ti2448合金的高温变形机制与应变速率有关,在较低应变速率(10^(-3)~10^(-1)s^(-1))范围内,合金表现出初始应力峰值,随后逐渐软化直到达... 通过对亚稳β-Ti2448合金进行Gleeble热模拟压缩实验,研究其在单相β区的高温变形机制。结果表明:Ti2448合金的高温变形机制与应变速率有关,在较低应变速率(10^(-3)~10^(-1)s^(-1))范围内,合金表现出初始应力峰值,随后逐渐软化直到达到稳态流变;其变形机制主要是形核和新晶粒长大的不连续动态再结晶(DDRX)。在较高的应变速率(1~63 s^(-1))范围内,合金首先表现出明显的硬化,随后略有软化,最后达到稳态;其变形机制主要是位错滑移主导的塑性变形,位错与晶界以及亚晶界之间的相互作用促使小角度晶界向高角度晶界的转变,表明变形机制为连续动态再结晶(CDRX)。 展开更多

研究了低弹性模量β-Ti合金[MoTi14]Zr1Ti78.2Mo11.2Zr10.6和[SnTi14]Mo1Ti75.7Mo10.9Sn13.4中第二相析出对弹性模量和力学性能的影响及其拉伸过程中合金组成相的变化.利用Cu模吸铸快冷技术制备了直径6 mm的合金棒,并采用XRD和TEM分析... 研究了低弹性模量β-Ti合金[MoTi14]Zr1Ti78.2Mo11.2Zr10.6和[SnTi14]Mo1Ti75.7Mo10.9Sn13.4中第二相析出对弹性模量和力学性能的影响及其拉伸过程中合金组成相的变化.利用Cu模吸铸快冷技术制备了直径6 mm的合金棒,并采用XRD和TEM分析合金拉伸前后的相析出行为及组织.结果表明,在β基体上只有少量α″的析出使得[SnTi14]Mo1合金具有较低的弹性模量(70 GPa),而ω相的存在使得[MoTi14]Zr1合金的弹性模量略高(80 GPa);且[SnTi14]Mo1合金中较细的薄片状β孪晶组织使得合金具有优良的力学性能.在拉伸过程中,[MoTi14]Zr1合金中应力诱发的马氏体含量增加,而在[SnTi14]Mo1合金中β基体晶粒易于发生扭转,从而合金塑性提高. 展开更多

In order to study the effect of element Nb on the microstructure and properties of the biomedical β-type Ti-Mo based alloys,Ti-15Mo-xNb(x=5,10,15 and 20 in %) alloys were investigated.The dry wear resistance of β-type Ti-15Mo-xNb alloys against Gr15 ball was investigated on CJS111A ball-disk wear instrument.Experimental results indicate that crystal structure and morphology of the Ti-15Mo-xNb alloys are sensitive to their Nb contents.Ti-15Mo-xNb alloys match those for β phase peaks and no any phases are found.The Vickers hardness values of all the Ti-15Mo-xNb alloys are higher than HV200.The compression yield strength of the Ti-15Mo-5Nb alloy is the lowest and that of the Ti-15Mo-10Nb alloy is the highest.For all the Ti-15Mo-xNb alloys,the friction coefficient is not constant but takes a higher value.In dry condition,SEM study reveals deep parallel scars on the wear surfaces of all the Ti-15Mo-xNb alloys under different loads.The friction coefficient of the Ti-15Mo-5Nb alloy under 1 N is the lowest.The wear principal mechanism for Ti-15Mo-xNb alloys is adhesive wear. 展开更多

A layer of porous film containing Ca and P was prepared by the micro-arc oxidation method on the surface of a novel near β biomedical Ti-3Zr-2Sn-3Mo-25Nb alloy, and then NH2- active group was introduced to the films by activation treatment. The phase composition, surface micro-topography and elemental characteristics of the micro-arc oxidation films were investigated with XRD, SEM, EDS and XPS, and the osteoinduction of the micro-arc oxidation films was tested using the simulated body fluid immersion, the in-vitro osteoblast cultivation test and animal experiment. The results show that the oxide layer is a kind of porous ceramic intermixture and contains Ca and P. The films in the simulated body fluid can induce apatite formation, resulting in excellent bioactivity. The cell test discovers that osteoblasts can grow well on the surface of micro-arc oxidation films. And the Ti-3Zr-2Sn-3Mo-25Nb biomedical alloy coated with active porous calcium-phosphate films shows better osteoinduction in vivo. 展开更多

To develop novel β-type biomedical titanium alloys,a series of Ti-15Mo-xNb alloys(x=0,5,10 and 15,mass fraction in%) were designed and prepared by using vacuum arc melting method.The present study focused on the effect of Nb addition on the microstructure,mechanical properties and castability of Ti-15 Mo alloy.Phase analysis and microstructure observation show that all the alloys consist of single β phase and the equiaxed β grain is refined with increasing Nb content.These β-type Ti-15Mo-xNb alloys exhibit good plasticity and rather low compression elastic modulus(in the range of 18.388-19.365 GPa).After Nb addition,the compression yield strength of the alloys increases.With increasing Nb content,the micro-hardness of the alloys decreases.The alloys exhibit obvious fibrous strip microstructure after cold compression deformation.The castability test shows that the castability of the alloys after Nb addition decreases and that of the Ti-15 Mo alloy is the highest(92.01%). 展开更多

The influence of ageing time on microstructure and mechanical properties of low-cost beta (LCB) titanium alloy with a chemical composition of Ti-6.6Mo-4.5Fe-1.5Al was investigated. The correlation between microstructure and fatigue crack initiation and growth was also studied. Increasing ageing time tended to increase the volume fraction of the secondary α-precipitates, β-grain size and partial spheroidization of primary α-phase. The maximum tensile strength (1565 MPa) and fatigue limit (750 MPa) were obtained for the samples aged at 500 °C for 0.5 h, while the minimum ones of 1515 MPa and 625 MPa, respectively, were reported for the samples aged at 500 °C for 4 h. The samples aged at 500 °C for 4 h showed a transgranular fracture mode. However, the samples aged at 500 °C for 0.5 h revealed a mixture fracture mode of transgranular and intergranular. The formed cracks on the outer surface of the fatigue samples were found to propagate through the β-grains connecting the primary α-particles existing at the β-grain boundaries. 展开更多

In this work,a near-beta Ti-5Al-5Mo-5V-1Cr-1Fe titanium alloy was fabricated by selective laser melting(SLM),and the microstructure evolution together with the mechanical properties was studied.The as-fabricated alloy showed columnarβgrains spreading over multiple layers and paralleling to the building direction.The distinct microstructure of as-fabricated alloy was composed of near-β(more than 98.1%)with a submicron cellular structure.Different SLM processing parameters such as hatch spacing could affect the microstructure of as-fabricated alloy,which could thus further significantly affect the mechanical properties of as-fabricated alloy.In addition,the as-fabricated alloy with the distinct microstructure exhibits yield strength of 818 MPa combined with elongation of more than 19%,which shows that SLM is a potential technology for manufacturing near-beta titanium components. 展开更多
