The result showed that the polymer-supported β-CD could accelerate the hydrolytic reaction of p-NPA morequickly than β-CD itself and crosslinked poly(acrylamide-co-vinylamine) alone. The acceleration rate of the polymer-supported β-CD was about 10 times as fast as that of free β-CD in 0.01 mol/L phosphate buffer (pH 7.4) containing 32%DMSO at 37±0.1℃ when the molar amount of β-CD units in the polymer was equal to that of free β-CD in the experiments.The enhanced acceleration of thc polymer-supported β-CD should be ascribed to the cooperative contribution of theinclusion effect of β-CD ring and the nucleophilic effect of amino groups on the polymeric support.展开更多
Adsorptive recovery of valuable components from industrial wastewater is highly desirable for avoiding resource wastage but remains a challenge.Herein,we develop an efficient continuous adsorption process for recoveri...Adsorptive recovery of valuable components from industrial wastewater is highly desirable for avoiding resource wastage but remains a challenge.Herein,we develop an efficient continuous adsorption process for recovering aromatic compounds in wastewater from styrene monomer and propylene oxide coproduction(SMPO)plant.Based on our insight into the potential of bio-based porous materials for adsorption application,starch-graft-polystyrene(SPS)and aryl-modifiedβ-cyclodextrin(ACD)were prepared,and novel hypercrosslinked porous polymers combined SPS with ACD(HSPS-ACDs)were synthesized through external crosslinking approach.In a binary-component system,the best-performing one HSPS-ACD(H)with high ACD content and large specific surface area possessed superior capacities for the representative aromatic compounds,acetophenone(AP,2.81 mmol·g^(-1))and 1-phenylethanol(1-PE,1.35 mmol·g^(-1))compared with the previously reported materials.Further,the adsorption properties of aromatic compounds on HSPS-ACD(H)were investigated in batch mode.For practical application,continuous adsorption experiments were conducted in a HSPS-ACD(H)-packed fixed bed,where the target aromatic components in wastewater were effectively retained and further released by elution.Besides showing the reversible adsorption and efficient enrichment effect,the HSPS-ACD(H)-packed fixed bed also maintained great stability in multiple cycles.Moreover,quantum chemical calculations were performed to elucidate the potential mechanism of adsorption of AP and 1-PE onto HSPS-ACD(H).展开更多

Solid electrolytes play a vital role in solid-state Li secondary batteries,which are promising high-energy storage devices for new-generation electric vehicles.Nevertheless,obtaining a suitable solid electrolyte by a ...Solid electrolytes play a vital role in solid-state Li secondary batteries,which are promising high-energy storage devices for new-generation electric vehicles.Nevertheless,obtaining a suitable solid electrolyte by a simple and residue-free preparation process,resulting in a stable interface between electrolyte and electrode,is still a great challenge for practical applications.Herein,we report a self-crosslinked polymer electrolyte(SCPE)for high-performance lithium batteries,prepared by a one-step method based on 3-methoxysilyl-terminated polypropylene glycol(SPPG,a liquid oligomer).It is worth noting that lithium bis(oxalate)borate(Li BOB)can react with SPPG to form a crosslinked structure via a curing reaction.This self-formed polymer electrolyte exhibits excellent properties,including high roomtemperature ionic conductivity(2.6×10^(-4) S cm^(-1)),wide electrochemical window(4.7 V),and high Li ion transference number(0.65).The excellent cycling stability(500 cycles,83%)further highlights the improved interfacial stability after the in situ formation of SCPE on the electrode surface.Moreover,this self-formation strategy enhances the safety of the battery under mechanical deformation.Therefore,the present self-crosslinked polymer electrolyte shows great potential for applications in high-performance lithium batteries.展开更多
Insoluble β-cyclodextrin polymers were prepared from β-cyclodextrin(β-CD) using epichlorohydrin(EPI) as crosslinking agent under basic conditions.The polymers were characterized by Fourier Transform Infrared(FTIR),...Insoluble β-cyclodextrin polymers were prepared from β-cyclodextrin(β-CD) using epichlorohydrin(EPI) as crosslinking agent under basic conditions.The polymers were characterized by Fourier Transform Infrared(FTIR),Thermogravimetry(TG),X-ray diffraction(XRD) and TG-FTIR.The results demonstrated that the polym-erization between EPI and β-CD indeed occurred,and a number of CD rings were interconnected to form a three-dimensional network.Moreover,different factors influencing the polymerization,e.g.molar ratio of EPI to β-CD,the concentration of NaOH and reaction temperature,have been investigated.The polymer prepared under the optimal conditions(the molar ratio EPI:β-CD of 44,the NaOH concentration 50% in mass,and the temperature at 65 ℃) showed excellent thermal stability and insolubility in organic solvents or strong acid/base.In addition,the β-cyclodextrin polymers also presented high catalytic activity for aqueous oxidation of benzyl alcohol with hy-pochlorite as oxidant.展开更多
Ionic liquids functionalized β-cyclodextrin polymer, a mono-6-deoxy-6-(1,2-dimethylimida- zolium)-β-cyclodextrin iodide polymer (ILs-β-CDCP), was synthesized as a solid-phase adsorbent coupled with high-perform...Ionic liquids functionalized β-cyclodextrin polymer, a mono-6-deoxy-6-(1,2-dimethylimida- zolium)-β-cyclodextrin iodide polymer (ILs-β-CDCP), was synthesized as a solid-phase adsorbent coupled with high-performance liquid chromatography for separating or analyzing magnolol in drug samples. The results showed that magnolol was adsorbed rapidly on ILs-D-CDCP and eluted with methanol. Under the optimum conditions, preconcentration factor of the proposed method was 12. The linear range, limit of detection (LOD), correlation coefficient (R) and relative standard deviation (RSD) were found to be 0.02-8.00 μg/mL, 1.9 ng/mL, 0.9992 and 2.76% (n=3, c=2.00 pg/mL), respectively. The interaction between 1Ls-])-CDCP and magnolol was studied through the inclusion constant, FTIR and TGA analysis. This proposed method has been successfully applied to the determination of magnolol in real samples.展开更多
A new crosslinked polymer,called P65,with appropriate photo-electrochemical,opto-electronic,and thermal properties,has been designed and synthesized as an efficient,dopant-free,hole-transport material(HTM)for n-i-p ty...A new crosslinked polymer,called P65,with appropriate photo-electrochemical,opto-electronic,and thermal properties,has been designed and synthesized as an efficient,dopant-free,hole-transport material(HTM)for n-i-p type planar perovskite solar cells(PSCs).P65 is obtained from a low-cost and easily synthesized spiro[fluorene-9,90-xanthene]-30,60-diol(SFX-OH)-based monomer X65 through a freeradical polymerization reaction.The combination of a three-dimensional(3 D)SFX core unit,holetransport methoxydiphenylamine group,and crosslinked polyvinyl network provides P65 with good solubility and excellent film-forming properties.By employing P65 as a dopant-free hole-transport layer in conventional n-i-p type PSCs,a power conversion efficiency(PCE)of up to 17.7%is achieved.To the best of our knowledge,this is the first time a 3 D,crosslinked,polymeric dopant-free HTM has been reported for use in conventional n-i-p type PSCs.This study provides a new strategy for the future development of a 3 D crosslinked polymeric dopant-free HTM with a simple synthetic route and low-cost for commercial,large-scale applications in future PSCs.展开更多

The results show that the ABCP is a semicompatible system and the compatibility of the two components decreases with increasing content of the hard segment. The mechanical and damping properties of the ABCP are obviously superior to that of their homopolymers. The rotation motion of --CH_3 sidegroup in PPU was analyzed by means of the average spectral density functions of internal rota-tion. The results showed that the rotation of the --CH_3 side group is related closely to the com-patibility between the two components. The compatibility was studied by analyzing the protonspin-lattice relaxation in rotating frame, spin-spin relaxation and spin-diffusion. The resultsshowed that the hydrogen bonds between the components play a major role in determining thecompatibility. Through spin diffusion studying, the soft phase domain size was calculated. Bystudying proton spin-spin relaxation, the content of each component in each phase and that ofeach phase in the samples can be obtained. The result shows that the content of interphase is related closely to the compatibility.展开更多
High-voltage lithium metal batteries(LMBs)have been considered promising next-generation highenergy-density batteries.However,commercial carbonate electrolytes can scarcely be employed in LMBs owing to their poor comp...High-voltage lithium metal batteries(LMBs)have been considered promising next-generation highenergy-density batteries.However,commercial carbonate electrolytes can scarcely be employed in LMBs owing to their poor compatibility with metallic lithium.N,N-dimethylacrylamide(DMAA)-a crosslinkable solubilizer with a high Gutmann donor number-is employed to facilitate the dissolution of insoluble lithium nitrate(LiNO3)in carbonate-based electrolytes and to form gel polymer electrolytes(GPEs)through in situ polymerization.The Lit solvation structure of the GPEs is regulated using LiNO3 and DMAA,which suppresses the decomposition of LiPFe and facilitates the formation of an inorganic-rich solid electrolyte interface.Consequently,the Coulombic efficiency(CE)of the LillCu cell assembled with a GPE increases to 98.5%at room temperature,and the high-voltage LillNCM622 cell achieves a capacity retention of 80.1%with a high CE of 99.5%after 400 cycles.The bifunctional polymer electrolytes are anticipated to pave the way for next-generation high-voltage LMBs.展开更多

Via the thermal addition reactions of vinyl end groups of PPE1 and allyloxy side groups of PPE2, crosslinked polymers C-PPE1 and C-PPE2 were obtained, respectively. The two polymers were characterized by wide-angle X-ray diffraction(WXRD), ultraviolet-visible(UV-Vis) absorption, and photoluminescence(PL). The results indicate that in the solid state, the polymer chains of PPE1 were packed with a low degree of crystallinity because of the sterically hindered(2'-ethyl-hexyl)oxy branched side chains, but, because of the introduction of allyloxy side chains, the polymer chains of PPE2 were packed in an order fashion with a high degree of crystallinity. Because of the high crosslinking density in C-PPE2, the formation of aggregates and excimer was hampered by the formed crosslinking network more effectively in C-PPE2 film than in C-PPE1 film.展开更多

The radical intermediates, the crosslink microstructures, and the reaction mechanism of benzophenone (BP)-photoinitiated crosslinking of low-density polyethylene (LDPE) and model compounds (MD) have been reviewed in d...The radical intermediates, the crosslink microstructures, and the reaction mechanism of benzophenone (BP)-photoinitiated crosslinking of low-density polyethylene (LDPE) and model compounds (MD) have been reviewed in detail. The spin-trapping electron spin resonance (ESR) spectra obtained from the LDPE/BP systems with spin-trap agents show that two kinds of polymer radical intermediates are mainly formed: tertiary carbon and secondary carbon radicals. The spin-trapping ESR studies of MD/BP systems give further evidence that photocrosslinking reactions of PE predominantly take place a sites of tertiary carbon, secondary carbon, and especially allylic carbon when available. The high resolution C-13-NMR spectra obtained from LDPE and MD systems show that the crosslink microstructures have H- and Y-type links and that their concentrations are of the same order. The fluorescence, ESR, C-13 and H-1-NMR spectra from the PE and MD systems demonstrate that the main photoreduction product of BP (PPB) is benzpinacol formed by the recombination of two diphenylhydroxymethyl (K-.) radical intermediates. Two new PPB products: an isomer of benzpinacol with quinoid structure, 1-phenylhydroxymethylene-4-diphenylhydroxymethyl-2,5-cyclobexadiene and three kinds of alpha-alkyl-benzhydrols have been detected and identified. These results provide new experimental evidence for elucidating the reaction mechanism in the BP-photoinitiated crosslinking of polyethylene.展开更多

The in-situ simultaneous photo-crosslinking poling of synthesized polymer films has teen performed, The second order nonlinear optical coefficient d(33) of poled film is 11 pm/V. 文摘Insoluble β-cyclodextrin polymers were prepared from β-cyclodextrin(β-CD) using epichlorohydrin(EPI) as crosslinking agent under basic conditions.The polymers were characterized by Fourier Transform Infrared(FTIR),Thermogravimetry(TG),X-ray diffraction(XRD) and TG-FTIR.The results demonstrated that the polym-erization between EPI and β-CD indeed occurred,and a number of CD rings were interconnected to form a three-dimensional network.Moreover,different factors influencing the polymerization,e.g.molar ratio of EPI to β-CD,the concentration of NaOH and reaction temperature,have been investigated.The polymer prepared under the optimal conditions(the molar ratio EPI:β-CD of 44,the NaOH concentration 50% in mass,and the temperature at 65 ℃) showed excellent thermal stability and insolubility in organic solvents or strong acid/base.In addition,the β-cyclodextrin polymers also presented high catalytic activity for aqueous oxidation of benzyl alcohol with hy-pochlorite as oxidant.

文摘Ionic liquids functionalized β-cyclodextrin polymer, a mono-6-deoxy-6-(1,2-dimethylimida- zolium)-β-cyclodextrin iodide polymer (ILs-β-CDCP), was synthesized as a solid-phase adsorbent coupled with high-performance liquid chromatography for separating or analyzing magnolol in drug samples. The results showed that magnolol was adsorbed rapidly on ILs-D-CDCP and eluted with methanol. Under the optimum conditions, preconcentration factor of the proposed method was 12. The linear range, limit of detection (LOD), correlation coefficient (R) and relative standard deviation (RSD) were found to be 0.02-8.00 μg/mL, 1.9 ng/mL, 0.9992 and 2.76% (n=3, c=2.00 pg/mL), respectively. The interaction between 1Ls-])-CDCP and magnolol was studied through the inclusion constant, FTIR and TGA analysis. This proposed method has been successfully applied to the determination of magnolol in real samples.

文摘A new crosslinked polymer,called P65,with appropriate photo-electrochemical,opto-electronic,and thermal properties,has been designed and synthesized as an efficient,dopant-free,hole-transport material(HTM)for n-i-p type planar perovskite solar cells(PSCs).P65 is obtained from a low-cost and easily synthesized spiro[fluorene-9,90-xanthene]-30,60-diol(SFX-OH)-based monomer X65 through a freeradical polymerization reaction.The combination of a three-dimensional(3 D)SFX core unit,holetransport methoxydiphenylamine group,and crosslinked polyvinyl network provides P65 with good solubility and excellent film-forming properties.By employing P65 as a dopant-free hole-transport layer in conventional n-i-p type PSCs,a power conversion efficiency(PCE)of up to 17.7%is achieved.To the best of our knowledge,this is the first time a 3 D,crosslinked,polymeric dopant-free HTM has been reported for use in conventional n-i-p type PSCs.This study provides a new strategy for the future development of a 3 D crosslinked polymeric dopant-free HTM with a simple synthetic route and low-cost for commercial,large-scale applications in future PSCs.

文摘Castor oil polyurethane/poly(methyl methacrylate) AB crosslinked polymers (ABCP) were synthesized by free radical copolymerization of MMA and vinyl-terminated castor oil polyurethane which was obtained from isocyanate-terminated castor oil polyurethane and hydroxyethyl methacrylate The mechanical properties, transition and relaxation, as well as compatibility and morphology of the ABCP were investigated by changing the component. The results show that the ABCP is a semicompatible system and the compatibility of the two components decreases with increasing content of the hard segment. The mechanical and damping properties of the ABCP are obviously superior to that of their homopolymers. The damping value is mainly controlled by cross[ink density of the ABCP but the T-g value by component.

文摘Different proportions of β-cydodextrin and epichlorohydrin were used to prepare a group of β-cyclodextrin polymers. The relationship between the reaction extent and the molar ratios of reactants was discussed according to the results of ~1H-NMR, ^(13) C-NMR spectra and elemental analysis. Especially, high resolution ~1H-NMR spectra were usd for studying the reaction active sites and the extent of reaction. The solubility of oil soluble drugs in water was largely improved in the presence of water-soluble β-cyclodextrin polymer.

文摘Crosslinked liquid crystalline polymers(CLCPs) are a type of promising material that possess both the order of liquid crystals and the properties of polymer networks.The anisotropic deformation of the CLCPs takes place when the mesogens experience order to disorder change in response to external stimuli; therefore,they can be utilized to fabricate smart actuators,which have potential applications in artificial muscles,micro-optomechanical systems,optics,and energyharvesting fields.In this review the recent development of thermo-and photo-driven soft actuators based on the CLCPs are summarized.

文摘The ^(13)C T_(1s) of --CH_3 side group in PPU/P (St-co-AA), AB-crosslinked polymers (i. e.ABCP) was studied by using high resolution solid state NMR. The rotation motion of --CH_3 sidegroup in PPU was analyzed by means of the average spectral density functions of internal rota-tion. The results showed that the rotation of the --CH_3 side group is related closely to the com-patibility between the two components. The compatibility was studied by analyzing the protonspin-lattice relaxation in rotating frame, spin-spin relaxation and spin-diffusion. The resultsshowed that the hydrogen bonds between the components play a major role in determining thecompatibility. Through spin diffusion studying, the soft phase domain size was calculated. Bystudying proton spin-spin relaxation, the content of each component in each phase and that ofeach phase in the samples can be obtained. The result shows that the content of interphase is related closely to the compatibility.

文摘High-voltage lithium metal batteries(LMBs)have been considered promising next-generation highenergy-density batteries.However,commercial carbonate electrolytes can scarcely be employed in LMBs owing to their poor compatibility with metallic lithium.N,N-dimethylacrylamide(DMAA)-a crosslinkable solubilizer with a high Gutmann donor number-is employed to facilitate the dissolution of insoluble lithium nitrate(LiNO3)in carbonate-based electrolytes and to form gel polymer electrolytes(GPEs)through in situ polymerization.The Lit solvation structure of the GPEs is regulated using LiNO3 and DMAA,which suppresses the decomposition of LiPFe and facilitates the formation of an inorganic-rich solid electrolyte interface.Consequently,the Coulombic efficiency(CE)of the LillCu cell assembled with a GPE increases to 98.5%at room temperature,and the high-voltage LillNCM622 cell achieves a capacity retention of 80.1%with a high CE of 99.5%after 400 cycles.The bifunctional polymer electrolytes are anticipated to pave the way for next-generation high-voltage LMBs.

文摘Two crosslinkable poly(p-phenyleneethynylene)s(PPEs): poly[2,5-di(2'-ethyl-hexyloxy)-1,4-phenylenecthynylene] with end-capped vinyl(PPE1) and poly[2,5-di(allyloxy)-1,4-phenyleneethynylene-2,5-di(2'-ethyl-hexyloxy)-1,4-phenyleneethynylene](PPE2) were synthesized. Via the thermal addition reactions of vinyl end groups of PPE1 and allyloxy side groups of PPE2, crosslinked polymers C-PPE1 and C-PPE2 were obtained, respectively. The two polymers were characterized by wide-angle X-ray diffraction(WXRD), ultraviolet-visible(UV-Vis) absorption, and photoluminescence(PL). The results indicate that in the solid state, the polymer chains of PPE1 were packed with a low degree of crystallinity because of the sterically hindered(2'-ethyl-hexyl)oxy branched side chains, but, because of the introduction of allyloxy side chains, the polymer chains of PPE2 were packed in an order fashion with a high degree of crystallinity. Because of the high crosslinking density in C-PPE2, the formation of aggregates and excimer was hampered by the formed crosslinking network more effectively in C-PPE2 film than in C-PPE1 film.
文摘Polymeric Grignard Reagent (PGR) based on the chloromethylated poly(ST-co-DVB) resinhas been prepared by means of anthracene-magnesium complex in THF (Anth-Mg-THF), andpolymer matrix with long polymethylene spacer was synthesized via the coupling reaction betweenPGR and α, ω-dibromoalkanes. Based on the studies of factors affecting the coupling, such ascatalyst,reaction time,the length of spacer etc.,this paper offers the optimal reaction conditionsand three typical experiment procedures. The mechanism for the formation and coupling reactionof PGR are also discussed.

文摘The radical intermediates, the crosslink microstructures, and the reaction mechanism of benzophenone (BP)-photoinitiated crosslinking of low-density polyethylene (LDPE) and model compounds (MD) have been reviewed in detail. The spin-trapping electron spin resonance (ESR) spectra obtained from the LDPE/BP systems with spin-trap agents show that two kinds of polymer radical intermediates are mainly formed: tertiary carbon and secondary carbon radicals. The spin-trapping ESR studies of MD/BP systems give further evidence that photocrosslinking reactions of PE predominantly take place a sites of tertiary carbon, secondary carbon, and especially allylic carbon when available. The high resolution C-13-NMR spectra obtained from LDPE and MD systems show that the crosslink microstructures have H- and Y-type links and that their concentrations are of the same order. The fluorescence, ESR, C-13 and H-1-NMR spectra from the PE and MD systems demonstrate that the main photoreduction product of BP (PPB) is benzpinacol formed by the recombination of two diphenylhydroxymethyl (K-.) radical intermediates. Two new PPB products: an isomer of benzpinacol with quinoid structure, 1-phenylhydroxymethylene-4-diphenylhydroxymethyl-2,5-cyclobexadiene and three kinds of alpha-alkyl-benzhydrols have been detected and identified. These results provide new experimental evidence for elucidating the reaction mechanism in the BP-photoinitiated crosslinking of polyethylene.

文摘Crosslinking is one of the effective routes for improving the orientation stability of poled polymer films. The derivative of polyvinyl alcohol containing 4-nitro-4'-alkoxystilbene and photo-crosslinkable cinnamyl groups as side chains has been synthesized. The in-situ simultaneous photo-crosslinking poling of synthesized polymer films has teen performed, The second order nonlinear optical coefficient d(33) of poled film is 11 pm/V. The SHG measurements show that the break-over temperature of SHG signal is raised obviously after irradiation, its orientation stability is doubled as compared with that of non-crosslinking samples.
文摘Two kinds of St/DVB copolymer beeds containing (1 - pyrenyl) formyl and(1 -pyrenyl) methyl groups respectively have been synthesized by both functionalization and copolymerization. The fluorescence spectra of the swollen polymers synthesized are similar in shape to those of the corresponding model compounds, whilethe intensity ratio of excimer to monomer shows clear dependence on the contents ofthe pyrene groups.
