Construction and Identification of HSP70 Antisense RNA Expression Vector for Genetic Engineering Male Sterility in Plant

[ Objective] In order to study the relation between the HSPTO gene and male sterility of plant further. [ Methods ] Anther specific expression promoter Osg6B of rice was coloned by PCR then connected with HSP70 antisense fragment to construct HSPTO antisense expression vector. The expression vector was identified by PCR experiment and enzyme digestion. [ Result] The sequence of coloned Osg6B promoter had 97% homology to the published sequence, and the cis-regulatory element in promoter area was integrated. HSP70 antisense expression vector driven by the promoter Osg6B was confired by colony PCR and enzyme digestion. [ Conclusion] The construction of expression vector would lay solid foundation for utilization of genetic engineering male sterility of plant.

Creation of Male Sterile Line in Tobacco With HSP70 Anti-sense Fragment

In order to create the Male Sterile Line in tobacco, the anti-sense fragment of HSP70 gene was linked to anther specific expression promoter TA29 and the reconstructed vector was transformed into tobacco by Agrobacterium mediated transformation, and the transformants were then screened. Gus and spot blotting hybridization analysis of the transformants indicated that anti-sense fragment of HSF70 gene had been integrated into tobacco genome and expressed, thus the male sterile tobacco line was obtained. Microscope observation of anther and pollen showed that pistils of transgenic tobacco were normal, whereas anthers and pollens were fairly abortive in the same transgenic tobacco flower, comparing with pistils and stamens in control plants. The ratio of HSI：＇70 protein before and after heat shock in mitochondrial was found to be 1.39 in control tobacco plants and 1.01 in transgenic tobacco sterile lines. This is suggested that the anti-sense gene fragment of HSP70 can effectively inhibit the expression of HSP70 protein and lead to transgenic male sterility in tobacco flowers. The assay provided a new genetic engineering method for male sterility creation in plants.

Updating ontologies and general rules

Inconsistencies or conflicts appearing in the integration of ontologies and general rules are handled by applying prioritizing and updating. First, a prioritized knowledge base is obtained by weighting information weight. Then, based on the idea ＂abandoning the old for the new＂, the weight of each rule is greater than that of the information in ontologies. If ontologies conflict with general rules, then a new knowledge-base without any inconsistency or conflict is obtained by using rules with big weight updating information in ontologies with small weight. Thus, current logic programming solvers and description logic reasoners are employed to implement the reasoning services, such as querying etc. Updating based on prioritizing is more suitable for handling inconsistencies than other approaches to introducing non-standard semantics if knowledge bases are dynamically evolving. Moreover, a consistent knowledge base can be always maintained in the dynamical environment by updating outdated information with new information based on weighting. Finally, this approach to dealing with inconsistencies is feasibly exemplified.

Quantum Entropy of Black Hole with Internal Global Monopole

Using the generalized uncertainty relation, the new equation of state density is obtained, and then the entropy of black hole with an internal global monopole is discussed. The divergence that appears in black hole entropy calculation through original brick-wall model is overcome. The result of the direct proportion between black hole entropy and its event horizon area is drawn and given. The result shows that the black hole entropy must be the entropy of quantum state near the event horizon.

Generalized Uncertainty Principle and Black Hole Entropy of Higher-Dimensional de Sitter Spacetime

Recently, there has been much attention devoted to resolving the quantum corrections to the Bekenstein-- Hawking black hole entropy. In particular, many researchers have expressed a vested interest in the coetticient of the logarithmic term of the black hole entropy correction term. In this paper, we calculate the correction value of the black hole entropy by utilizing the generalized uncertainty prlnciple and obtain the correction term caused by the generalized uncertainty principle. Because in our calculation we think that the Bekenstein-Hawking area theorem is still valid after considering the generalized uncertainty principle, we derive that the coefficient of the logarithmic term of the black hole entropy correction term is positive. This result is different from the known result at present. Our method is valid not only for four-dimensional spacetimes but also for higher-dimensional spacetimes. In the whole process, the physics idea is clear and calculation is simple. It offers a new way for studying the entropy correction of the complicated spacetime.

Quantum Statistical Entropy of Five-Dimensional Black Hole

The generalized uncertainty relation is introduced to calculate quantum statistic entropy of a black hole. By using the new equation of state density motivated by the generalized uncertainty relation, we discuss entropies of Bose field and Fermi field on the background of the five-dimensional spacetime. In our calculation, we need not introduce cutoff. There is not the divergent logarithmic term as in the original brick-wall method. And it is obtained that the quantum statistic entropy corresponding to black hole horizon is proportional to the area of the horizon. Fhrther it is shown that the entropy of black hole is the entropy of quantum state on the surface of horizon. The black hole＇s entropy is the intrinsic property of the black hole. The entropy is a quantum effect. It makes people further understand the quantum statistic entropy.

Generalized Uncertainty Principle and Thermodynamic Quantities of SAdS_5 Black Hole

Recently, there has been much attention devoted to resolving the quantum corrections to the Bekenstein- Hawking black hole entropy. The different correction leading terms are obtained by the different methods. In this paper, we calculate the correction to SAdS5 black hole thermodynamic quantity due to the generalized uncertainty principle. Furthermore we derive that the black hole entropy obeys Bekenstein Hawking area theorem. The entropy has infinite correction terms. And every term is finite and calculable. The corrected Cardy-Vedinde formula is derived. In our calculation, Bekenstein Hawking area theorem still holds after considering the generalized uncertainty principle. We have not introduced any hypothesis. The calculation is simple. Physics meaning is clear. We note that our results are quite general. It is not only valid for four-dimensional spacetime but also for higher-dimensional SAdS spacetime.

We prove that the inequality holds, when a m × n real matrix X = (xij) whose entries are not all equal to 0 satisfies Therefore we not only generalize the results of Horst Alzer [2] from non-negative matrix to real matrix, but also complete a result of E R van Dam [1], which indicated that the best possible upper bound is equal to 1 for real matrix.

We generalize the method that is used to study corrections to Cardy-Verlinde formula due to generalized uncertainty principle and discuss corrections to Cardy-Verlinde formula due to generalized uncertainty principle in （anti）- de Sitter space. Because in de Sitter black hole spacetime the radiation temperature of the black hole horizon is different from the one of the cosmological horizon, this spacetime is a thermodynamical non-equilibrium spacetime.

It is possible and necessary to make a combined study of urban sports population and theory of social justice. Theoretically, sports population study belongs to sociology, but at present it is still confined in the ＂sports study＂ , thus due attention has not been paid to its sociological value and significance. On the other hand, the study of social justice tends to focus on material aspect and overlooks the spiritual aspects such as the sports justice. In reality, when it comes to urban sports population, there are problems of social justice as are mainly reflected in the unbalanced structure and severe disproportion of the social resources among different strata. In this paper, it will explore the depiction of Arab youth as a social construct meant to challenge the nationalistic representation of this ambiguous social category while, at the same time, promoting the regional debate over modernity, Arabism, and change.

Political Satire in the Chinese Blogosphere： The Case of Wang Xiaofeng

This paper is built on the study of one key blog-Wang Xiaofeng＇s No Guess （2006-2011） to explore how a Chinese intellectual uses his satirical skills in the blogosphere, how his blog reshapes the form of political culture, and how the blogosphere through such interventions proceeds in the development of political communications in China. Two key issues are addressed in the paper. Firstly, drawing on the concept of ＂blogging culture＂, the author argues that blogging has potentially reconfigured political information around people＇s everyday lives, offering alternative modes of ＂public talk＂. The case of Wang Xiaofeng shows that satire can be used to make fun of the state, policies, and established ideologies, improving a previously restricted communicative environment toward more open. Secondly, the rise in the value placed on individualism in China, and the rise of peer-to-peer media mean that bloggers who pursue self-expression simultaneously through such self-expression. In other words, Wang Xiaofeng＇s No Guess blog demonstrates that individual opinions across the blogosphere have implicitly challenged political discourse; however, they always have to struggle with an ongoing censorship, negotiate an unstable discursive space and thus, can only enjoy a limited success.
