In this study,the microstructure and mechanical properties of a multi-layered 316L-TiC composite material produced by selective laser melting(SLM)additive manufacturing process are investigated.Three different layers,...In this study,the microstructure and mechanical properties of a multi-layered 316L-TiC composite material produced by selective laser melting(SLM)additive manufacturing process are investigated.Three different layers,consisting of 316L stainless steel,316L-5 wt%TiC and 316L-10 wt%TiC,were additively manufactured.The microstructure of these layers was characterized by optical microscopy(OM)and scanning electron microscopy(SEM).X-ray diffraction(XRD)was used for phase analysis,and the mechanical properties were evaluated by tensile and nanoindentation tests.The microstructural observations show epitaxial grain growth within the composite layers,with the elongated grains growing predominantly in the build direction.XRD analysis confirms the successful incorporation of the TiC particles into the 316L matrix,with no unwanted phases present.Nanoindentation results indicate a significant increase in the hardness and modulus of elasticity of the composite layers compared to pure 316L stainless steel,suggesting improved mechanical properties.Tensile tests show remarkable strength values for the 316L-TiC composite samples,which can be attributed to the embedded TiC particles.These results highlight the potential of SLM in the production of multi-layer metal-ceramic composites for applications that require high strength and ductility of metallic components in addition to the exceptional hardness of the ceramic particles.展开更多

[Method] The content of aspartame in beverage was determined by HPLC, then the source of uncertainty in the whole determination process was analyzed, and each component of uncertainty was evaluated and combined. [ Result] Through 6 repeated determinations by the method in GB/T 22254-2008 "Determination of Aspartame in Food", the average content of aspartame in beverage was (0.806 ±0.038) g/kg, and k =2. The main sources of uncertainty to affect the process were the sample weighting process, the preparation process of standard solution introduced by sample constant volume and the uncertainty introduced by fitting standard curve. ①The uncertainty of standard work-solution. The combined uncertainty of standard work-solution was 0.013 9, among them the uncertainty introduced by standard sample purity was 0.005 8, the standard uncertainty introduced by standard material weighting was 1.49 ×10^4, the relative uncertainty introduced by glass apparatus calibration in the preparation process of aspartame standard reserving solution was 0. 007 88, and the uncertainty introduced by glass apparatus calibration in the preparation process of standard work-solution was 0. 009 9. ②The uncertainty introduced by the preparation process of sample specimen. Among them the relative standard uncertainty introduced by sample weighting process was 0. 009, and the uncertainty introduced by sample constant volume was 0.000 78. ③The uncertainty introduced by the fitting process of standard curve. Among them the relative uncertainty of curve fitting was 0.002 46, the uncertainty introduced by the determined results of aspartame was 0.017 0, the total combined standard uncertainty was 0.023 9, and the expanded standard uncertainty was 0.019. [ Conclusion] The uncertainty components of standard solution, standard curve and repeatability are the main sources of uncertainty, while those of sample weighting and sample constant volume account for little proportion.展开更多

[ Method] The differences in agronomic traits and polymorphis...[ Objective] The study was to investigate the agronomic traits and breeding characteristics of genic male sterile material Mian 7AB-4- 2 in Brassica napus. [ Method] The differences in agronomic traits and polymorphisms in SSR markers, between the genic male sterile material Mian 7AB-4-2 in Brassica napus and its sisterly line Mian 7AB-4-1 were investigated by hybridization and molecular identification; and the percentage of sterile individuals of Mian 7AB-4-2 and of the hybrids with its sisterly line Mian 7AB-4-1 from test cross and back cross were also studled. [ Result] Mian 7AB-4-2 was not significantly different in agronomic traits from its sisterly line Mian 7AB-4-1 at 0.05 probability level. The per- centages of sterile individuals in the pollinated fertile Mian 7AB-4-2 plants were over 60%, and that in its sisterly line Mian 7AB-4-1 was about 25%. In test crosses with other nine sterile lines, Mian 7AB-4-1 kept the percentage of sterile individuals of sterile lines over 90%, and the percentage of sterile individuals from back cross over 80%. With regard to molecular markers, Mian 7AB-4-2 and its sisterly line Mian 7AB-4-1 were different in the band number from SSR primers a2 and E10. [ Conclusion] The results indicate that Mian 7AB-4-2 is helpful for rapeseed breeding, quickening the application of new materials in field breeding.展开更多

The beveling transition pattern is well used for variable-thickness region of billet (VTRB) due to its simple and ample range of transition condition. The transition condition development in the local loading process has a significant influence on dynamic boundary of unrestricted portion of VTRB. With the help of reasonable assumptions, a mathematical model of transition condition development was established by theoretical analysis. The predicted results for local loading process of rib-web component using the established model were compared with the numerical and experimental ones, and the results indicated that the model of transition condition development is reasonable. Using the established model could deal with the dynamic boundary of unrestricted portion of VTRB well, and the model is suitable for the analysis of metal flow and cavity fill in local loading process of multi-ribs component.展开更多

[ Method] Fertility segregation phenomenon, morphological characteristics and main agronomic characters of male sterility character of 4 kinds of barley male sterility materials 2001 - 17, 2001 - 37, 2001 - 84 and 2001 - 116 and their dedved lines were observed and researched.[ Result] Barley male sterility existed genetic phenomenon of single dominant nuclear gene caused by environmental stimulation, its sterility controlled by MS, the sterile genotype was MSms. There was stable nucleo-cytoplasmic inheritance on barley male sterility which was controlled by cytoplasmic mate sterile gene S and nuclear gene rr, and its genotype was S(rr), this male sterility belonged to CMS type sterility. Temperature had no effect on fertility. [ Conclusion] There was stable nucleo-cytoplasmic inheritance on barley male sterility, this result played a positively promoting role in barley practical production.展开更多

By...The ZM-1 tissue microarrayer designed by our groups is manufactured in stainless steel and brass and contains many features that make TMA (tissue microarray) paraffin blocks construction faster and more convenient. By means of ZM-1 tissue microarrayer, biopsy needles are used to punch the donor tissue specimens respectively. All the needles with the punched specimen cylinders are arrayed into the array-board, with an array of small holes dug to fit the needles. All the specimen cylinders arraying and the TMA paraffin block shaping are finished in only one step so that the specimen cylinders and the paraffin of the TMA block can very easily be incorporated and the recipient paraffin blocks need not be made in advance, and the paraffin used is the same as that for conventional pathology purpose. ZM-1 tissue microarrayer is easy to be manufactured, does not need any precision location system, and so is much cheaper than the currently used instrument. Our method’s relatively cheap and simple ZM-1 tissue microarrayer technique of constructing TMA paraffin block may facilitate popularization of the TMA technology.展开更多

Sintering shrinkage, compressive strength, bending strength, metallurgical morphology, microstructure and chemical composition diffusion of hydroxyapatite-316L stainless steel(HA-316L SS) composites were investigated....Sintering shrinkage, compressive strength, bending strength, metallurgical morphology, microstructure and chemical composition diffusion of hydroxyapatite-316L stainless steel(HA-316L SS) composites were investigated. The results show that the sintering shrinkage of HA-316L SS composites decreases from 27.38% to 8.87% for cylinder sample or from 27.18% to 8.62% for cuboid sample with decreasing the volume ratio of HA to 316L SS, which leads to higher sintering activity of HA compared with that of 316L SS. The compressive strength of HA-316L SS composites changes just like parabolic curve (245.3→126.3→202.8 MPa) with reducing the volume ratio of HA to 316L SS. Bending strength increases from 86.3MPa to 124. 2 MPa with increasing the content of 316L SS. Furthermore, comprehensive mechanical properties of 1.0∶3.0 (volume ratio of HA to 316L SS) composite are optimal with compressive strength and bending strength equal to 202.8 MPa and 124.2 MPa, respectively. The (microstructure) and metallurgical structure vary regularly with the volume ratio of HA to 316L SS. Some chemical reaction takes place at the interface of the composites during sintering.展开更多

The microstructure and nano-tribological properties of 316 austenitic stainless steel have been investigated by using the in situ nano-mechanical testing system Tribolndenter, in which six different normal forces were...The microstructure and nano-tribological properties of 316 austenitic stainless steel have been investigated by using the in situ nano-mechanical testing system Tribolndenter, in which six different normal forces were chosen to make a scratch and indentation. The results show that the contact depth of the indentation increases with the normal force and material is piled up on the edge of the indentation as plastic distortion. The stable nano-hardness and the reduced modulus of 316 austenitic stainless steel are approximately 6 GPa and 160 GPa, respectively. The friction coefficients of 316 stainless steel with conic-type diamond tip have a typical value of about 0.13, 0.15, 0.17, 0.19, 0.22 and 0.25 when the normal forces are kept at 500 μN, 1000 μN, 1500 μN, 2000 μN, 2500 μN and 3000 μN, revealing an increasing trend with the normal forces. The increase of the friction coefficient in the unloading segment may result from the adhesion force caused by the material piled up.展开更多

This letter reviews up-to-date studies of the urbanization-related warming in the observed land surface air temperature series in China. Many previous studies have suggested that, over the past few decades, the local warming due to urbanization could have been about 0.1 °C/10 yr, or even larger. However, based on recently developed homogenized temperature records, the estimated urban bias is smaller. Major uncertainties arise from either the data quality or the techniques used to estimate the urbanization effect. A key example is the ‘observationminus-reanalysis' method, which tends to overestimate the urban signal in this region, partly due to systematic bias in the multi-decadal variability of surface air temperature in the reanalysis data. It is expected that improved numerical modeling with high-resolution information regarding the changing land surface in the region will help to further understand and quantify the effect of urbanization in local temperature records.展开更多
This study reports the investigations for repair of thermoplastic based automotive bumpers and bars with modified friction stir welding(MFSW)process.For MFSW,consumable tool of polyamide6(PA6)composite has been used f...This study reports the investigations for repair of thermoplastic based automotive bumpers and bars with modified friction stir welding(MFSW)process.For MFSW,consumable tool of polyamide6(PA6)composite has been used for joining of acrylonitrile butadiene styrene(ABS)composites.The dissimilar thermoplastics were processed for maintaining a useful range of melt flow properties followed by preparation of feed stock filament for fused deposition modeling(FDM)process through screw extrusion.Finally,3D printed PA6 based consumable rapid tool(RT)was prepared for MFSW.The joints prepared were subjected to flexural,hardness,morphological and thermal testing.The study has suggested the that maximum mechanical strength was obtained for sample welded at 1400 r/min,50 mm/min transverse speed and 3 mm plunge depth,whereas the minimum mechanical strength was obtained for sample welded at 1000 r/min,30 mm/min transverse speed and 2 mm plunge depth.The results are also supported with thermal analysis and photomicrographs.展开更多

Methods:Twenty-four adolescent patients(12 boys,12 girls) with Class Ⅱ malocclusion were selected and the coil-springs appliance was used during the treatment. Pre- and postdistalization lateral cephalometric radiographs were analyzed and compared. Results: The average time for the correction of Class Ⅱ molar relationship was 4.6 months. And the mean distance of molar distalization was 4.4 mm. The Chinese Ni-Ti coil-springs also demostrated less tipping and better bodily movement of maxillary molars. Conclusion: This study suggests that the Chinese Ni-Ti coil-springs appliance distalizes the upper molar significantly, while there is no remarkable loss of anchorage because of patients’ wearing headgear with J hooks at night and Class Ⅱ elastics in the day time.展开更多

Male sterile cauliflower, tomato, cabbage, etc. have been developed in this way, and some begin to be used to produce hybrid seed. Appling some techniques can also maintain and restore the male sterility. These related researches will effectively promote the heterosis utilization and the development of crop breeding. The results indicated the formation of defect free joint by using copper filler material. But, the presence of some defects like solidification crack and lack of fusion caused decreasing tensile strength of other joints. In the optimum conditions, the tensile strength of the joint was 96% of the weaker material. Also, this joint was bent till to 180° without any macroscopic defects like separation, tearing or fracture. It was concluded that copper is a new and good candidate for gas tungsten arc welding of copper to 304 stainless steel.展开更多

Additionally, it remains unclear exactly what drink tests measure as correlations with measures of gastric sensation, accomodation and emptying are modest at best. Fracture behavior of FGMs in di...Zirconia/stainless steel (ZrO2/SUS316L) functionally graded materials (FGMs) were fabricated by tape casting and laminating. Microstructures of FGMs were observed by optical microscope. Fracture behavior of FGMs in different loading modes and influences of different gradient changes on flexural strength were investigated. The results show that ZrO2/ SUS316L FGMs with graded components at interlayers are obtained after they are sintered in vacuum and pressureless condition at 1 350 ℃. TheⅠ?Ⅱ mixed mode crack creates in composite layer and grows to both sides zigzag while loading on ZrO2 layer. Flexural strengths are 496.4,421.7 and 387.5 MPa when gradient changes are 10%,15% and 20%,but flexural strengths of the corresponding fracture layers are 387.1,334.6 and 282.3 MPa since cracks of FGMs are affected by three-dimensional stress,respectively. The cracks are generated in ZrO2 layer and extend to SUS316L layer while loading is added on SUS316L layer,flexural strength does not change with the graded components and keeps consistent basically.展开更多

The beveling transition pattern is well used for variable-thickness region of billet (VTRB) due to its simple and ample range of transition condition. The transition condition development in the local loading process has a significant influence on dynamic boundary of unrestricted portion of VTRB. With the help of reasonable assumptions, a mathematical model of transition condition development was established by theoretical analysis. The predicted results for local loading process of rib-web component using the established model were compared with the numerical and experimental ones, and the results indicated that the model of transition condition development is reasonable. Using the established model could deal with the dynamic boundary of unrestricted portion of VTRB well, and the model is suitable for the analysis of metal flow and cavity fill in local loading process of multi-ribs component.

文摘[Objective] The aim was to research the genetic mechanism of barley male sterility, and provide the theoretical reference for breeding strong heterosis hybrid of barley. [ Method] Fertility segregation phenomenon, morphological characteristics and main agronomic characters of male sterility character of 4 kinds of barley male sterility materials 2001 - 17, 2001 - 37, 2001 - 84 and 2001 - 116 and their dedved lines were observed and researched.[ Result] Barley male sterility existed genetic phenomenon of single dominant nuclear gene caused by environmental stimulation, its sterility controlled by MS, the sterile genotype was MSms. There was stable nucleo-cytoplasmic inheritance on barley male sterility which was controlled by cytoplasmic mate sterile gene S and nuclear gene rr, and its genotype was S(rr), this male sterility belonged to CMS type sterility. Temperature had no effect on fertility. [ Conclusion] There was stable nucleo-cytoplasmic inheritance on barley male sterility, this result played a positively promoting role in barley practical production.

文摘The ZM-1 tissue microarrayer designed by our groups is manufactured in stainless steel and brass and contains many features that make TMA (tissue microarray) paraffin blocks construction faster and more convenient. By means of ZM-1 tissue microarrayer, biopsy needles are used to punch the donor tissue specimens respectively. All the needles with the punched specimen cylinders are arrayed into the array-board, with an array of small holes dug to fit the needles. All the specimen cylinders arraying and the TMA paraffin block shaping are finished in only one step so that the specimen cylinders and the paraffin of the TMA block can very easily be incorporated and the recipient paraffin blocks need not be made in advance, and the paraffin used is the same as that for conventional pathology purpose. ZM-1 tissue microarrayer is easy to be manufactured, does not need any precision location system, and so is much cheaper than the currently used instrument. Our method’s relatively cheap and simple ZM-1 tissue microarrayer technique of constructing TMA paraffin block may facilitate popularization of the TMA technology.

文摘The deviation of flow characteristics from the predictions of the conventional theory for microtubes was attrib- uted to the change of fluid viscosity resulted from the interactions between the molecules on solid wall and in fluid. The degree of this departure is dependent on the microtubes materials. A concept of equivalent thickness with which conventional theory can be used to predict the flow in microtubes without modifying the fluid viscosity was put forward. The values of equivalent thickness for fused silica and stainless steel materials were determined as 1.8 μm and 1.5 μm, respectively, by repeated numeri- cal simulation.
文摘Sintering shrinkage, compressive strength, bending strength, metallurgical morphology, microstructure and chemical composition diffusion of hydroxyapatite-316L stainless steel(HA-316L SS) composites were investigated. The results show that the sintering shrinkage of HA-316L SS composites decreases from 27.38% to 8.87% for cylinder sample or from 27.18% to 8.62% for cuboid sample with decreasing the volume ratio of HA to 316L SS, which leads to higher sintering activity of HA compared with that of 316L SS. The compressive strength of HA-316L SS composites changes just like parabolic curve (245.3→126.3→202.8 MPa) with reducing the volume ratio of HA to 316L SS. Bending strength increases from 86.3MPa to 124. 2 MPa with increasing the content of 316L SS. Furthermore, comprehensive mechanical properties of 1.0∶3.0 (volume ratio of HA to 316L SS) composite are optimal with compressive strength and bending strength equal to 202.8 MPa and 124.2 MPa, respectively. The (microstructure) and metallurgical structure vary regularly with the volume ratio of HA to 316L SS. Some chemical reaction takes place at the interface of the composites during sintering.

文摘Through taking uncertain mechanical parameters of composites into consideration,this paper carries out uncertain modal analysis for an unmanned aircraft landing gear.By describing correlated multi-dimensional mechanical parameters as a convex polyhedral model,the modal analysis problem of a composite landing gear is transferred into a linear fractional programming(LFR)eigenvalue solution problem.As a consequent,the extreme-point algorithm is proposed to estimate lower and upper bounds of eigenvalues,namely the exact results of eigenvalues can be easily obtained at the extreme-point locations of the convex polyhedral model.The simulation results show that the proposed model and algorithm can play an important role in the eigenvalue solution problem and possess valuable engineering significance.It will be a powerful and effective tool for further vibration analysis for the landing gear.

文摘This study aims to develop a model to characterize the inhomogeneous material deformation behavior in micro-forming.First,the influence of individual grain heterogeneity on the deformation behavior of CuZn20 foils was investigated via tensile and micro-hardness tests.The results showed that different from thick sheets,the hardening behavior of grains in the deformation area of thin foils is not uniform.The flow stress of thin foils actually only reflects the average hardening behavior of several easy-deformation-grains,which is the reason that thinner foils own smaller flow stress.Then,a composite modeling method under consideration of individual grain heterogeneity was developed,where the effects of grain orientation and shape are quantitatively represented by the method of flow stress classification and Voronoi tessellation,respectively.This model provides an accurate and effective method to analyze the influence of individual grain heterogeneity on the deformation behavior of the micro-sized material.

文摘The microstructure and nano-tribological properties of 316 austenitic stainless steel have been investigated by using the in situ nano-mechanical testing system Tribolndenter, in which six different normal forces were chosen to make a scratch and indentation. The results show that the contact depth of the indentation increases with the normal force and material is piled up on the edge of the indentation as plastic distortion. The stable nano-hardness and the reduced modulus of 316 austenitic stainless steel are approximately 6 GPa and 160 GPa, respectively. The friction coefficients of 316 stainless steel with conic-type diamond tip have a typical value of about 0.13, 0.15, 0.17, 0.19, 0.22 and 0.25 when the normal forces are kept at 500 μN, 1000 μN, 1500 μN, 2000 μN, 2500 μN and 3000 μN, revealing an increasing trend with the normal forces. The increase of the friction coefficient in the unloading segment may result from the adhesion force caused by the material piled up.

文摘There have long been arguments about the impact of urbanization on local meteorological observations. This letter reviews up-to-date studies of the urbanization-related warming in the observed land surface air temperature series in China. Many previous studies have suggested that, over the past few decades, the local warming due to urbanization could have been about 0.1 °C/10 yr, or even larger. However, based on recently developed homogenized temperature records, the estimated urban bias is smaller. Major uncertainties arise from either the data quality or the techniques used to estimate the urbanization effect. A key example is the ‘observationminus-reanalysis' method, which tends to overestimate the urban signal in this region, partly due to systematic bias in the multi-decadal variability of surface air temperature in the reanalysis data. It is expected that improved numerical modeling with high-resolution information regarding the changing land surface in the region will help to further understand and quantify the effect of urbanization in local temperature records.
文摘This study reports the investigations for repair of thermoplastic based automotive bumpers and bars with modified friction stir welding(MFSW)process.For MFSW,consumable tool of polyamide6(PA6)composite has been used for joining of acrylonitrile butadiene styrene(ABS)composites.The dissimilar thermoplastics were processed for maintaining a useful range of melt flow properties followed by preparation of feed stock filament for fused deposition modeling(FDM)process through screw extrusion.Finally,3D printed PA6 based consumable rapid tool(RT)was prepared for MFSW.The joints prepared were subjected to flexural,hardness,morphological and thermal testing.The study has suggested the that maximum mechanical strength was obtained for sample welded at 1400 r/min,50 mm/min transverse speed and 3 mm plunge depth,whereas the minimum mechanical strength was obtained for sample welded at 1000 r/min,30 mm/min transverse speed and 2 mm plunge depth.The results are also supported with thermal analysis and photomicrographs.
文摘In order to study the effects of different fertilizers on the growth and yield of Moringa seedlings,potted Moringa seedlings were randomly divided into 5 treatments:nitrogen(treatment 1),phosphorus(treatment 2),potassium(treatment 3),compound fertilizer(treatment 4)and non-fertilization(CK).The ground diameter,plant height,leaf,sprouting,crown width and yield of Moringa seedlings were measured one month later.The results showed that treatment 3 was beneficial to the growth of ground diameter of Moringa seedlings,which was 24.4%higher than CK(P<0.05).Treatment 4 significantly promoted plant height and leaf yield of moringa seedlings,being 56.8%and 76.9%higher than those of CK,respectively(P<0.05).Treatment 2 significantly promoted the sprouting of Moringa seedlings,being 53.8%higher than that of CK(P<0.05).Fertilization treatments had no significant effect on leaf size of Moringa seedlings(P>0.05).
文摘Objective: To evaluate the effects of the Chinese Ni-Ti coil-springs appliance on distalization of maxillary molars and the reciprocal effects on the anchorage teeth. Methods:Twenty-four adolescent patients(12 boys,12 girls) with Class Ⅱ malocclusion were selected and the coil-springs appliance was used during the treatment. Pre- and postdistalization lateral cephalometric radiographs were analyzed and compared. Results: The average time for the correction of Class Ⅱ molar relationship was 4.6 months. And the mean distance of molar distalization was 4.4 mm. The Chinese Ni-Ti coil-springs also demostrated less tipping and better bodily movement of maxillary molars. Conclusion: This study suggests that the Chinese Ni-Ti coil-springs appliance distalizes the upper molar significantly, while there is no remarkable loss of anchorage because of patients’ wearing headgear with J hooks at night and Class Ⅱ elastics in the day time.
文摘With the deep researches on male sterility genetic engineering of plants, several strategies creating male sterile materials have been developed, such as causing pollen abortion by cytotoxic genes, antisense RNA or RNAi silencing the expression of genes related to pollen development, early degradation of tapetum callose leading to male sterility. Male sterile transgenic plants can be obtained through genetic transformation with related genes destroying or interfering with pollen or anther development. Male sterile cauliflower, tomato, cabbage, etc. have been developed in this way, and some begin to be used to produce hybrid seed. Appling some techniques can also maintain and restore the male sterility. These related researches will effectively promote the heterosis utilization and the development of crop breeding. This paper mainly presents their principles and applications in vegetable crops.
文摘The dissimilar joining of CP-copper to 304 stainless steel was performed by gas tungsten arc welding process using different filler materials. The results indicated the formation of defect free joint by using copper filler material. But, the presence of some defects like solidification crack and lack of fusion caused decreasing tensile strength of other joints. In the optimum conditions, the tensile strength of the joint was 96% of the weaker material. Also, this joint was bent till to 180° without any macroscopic defects like separation, tearing or fracture. It was concluded that copper is a new and good candidate for gas tungsten arc welding of copper to 304 stainless steel.
文摘Drink tests are advocated as an inexpensive, nonivasive technique to assess gastric function in patients with a variety of upper digestive symptoms. Many patients with dyspeptic complaints will achieve satiation or develop symptoms at ingested volumes below those typically required to achieve these endpoints in controls. Substantial variation in test performance exists and a greater degree of standardization is required. Additionally, it remains unclear exactly what drink tests measure as correlations with measures of gastric sensation, accomodation and emptying are modest at best. Finally, results of drink tests do not guide therpay. At present, these tests are best reserved for research studies and are not advocated for use in clinical practice.

文摘Zirconia/stainless steel (ZrO2/SUS316L) functionally graded materials (FGMs) were fabricated by tape casting and laminating. Microstructures of FGMs were observed by optical microscope. Fracture behavior of FGMs in different loading modes and influences of different gradient changes on flexural strength were investigated. The results show that ZrO2/ SUS316L FGMs with graded components at interlayers are obtained after they are sintered in vacuum and pressureless condition at 1 350 ℃. TheⅠ?Ⅱ mixed mode crack creates in composite layer and grows to both sides zigzag while loading on ZrO2 layer. Flexural strengths are 496.4,421.7 and 387.5 MPa when gradient changes are 10%,15% and 20%,but flexural strengths of the corresponding fracture layers are 387.1,334.6 and 282.3 MPa since cracks of FGMs are affected by three-dimensional stress,respectively. The cracks are generated in ZrO2 layer and extend to SUS316L layer while loading is added on SUS316L layer,flexural strength does not change with the graded components and keeps consistent basically.
