Proactive Content Delivery for Vehicles over Cellular Networks:the Fundamental Benefits of Computing and Caching

The emergence of self-driving technologies implies that a future vehicle will likely become an entertainment center that demands personalized multimedia contents with very high quality. The surge of vehicular content demand brings significant challenges for the fifth generation(5G) cellular communication network. To cope with the challenge of massive content delivery, previous studies suggested that the 5G mobile edge network should be designed to integrate communication, computing, and cache(3C) resources to enable advanced functionalities such as proactive content delivery and in-network caching. However, the fundamental benefits achievable by computing and caching in mobile communications networks are not yet properly understood. This paper proposes a novel theoretical framework to characterize the tradeoff among computing, cache, and communication resources required by the mobile edge network to fulfill the task of content delivery. Analytical and numerical results are obtained to characterize the 3C resource tradeoff curve. These results reveal key insights into the fundamental benefits of computing and caching in vehicular mobile content delivery networks.

Antecedents and consequences of athlete's trust in the coach

Purpose： To assess the effects of trust in the coach on commitment to coach, willingness to cooperate, and perceived performance. Methods： Two hundred and fifteen members of competitive sports clubs responded to scales measuring coach characteristics of justice, benevolence, integrity, and competence; athlete＇s trust in the coach; commitment to coach; willingness to cooperate; and perceived performance. Results： Confirmatory factor analysis of data supported the measurement model. Perceptions of a coach＇s justice （β = 0.19, p 〈 0.05）, benevolence （β = 0.32, p 〈 0.05）, integrity （β= 0.14, p 〈 0.05）, and competence （β = 0.29, p 〈 0.05） each had a significant effect on athletes＇ trust, and they cumulatively accounted for 61% of the variance in trust. The structural equation modeling showed that trust had direct effects on commitment to coach （β = 0.77, p 〈 0.01）, willingness to cooperate （β= 0.79, p 〈 0.01 ）, and perceived performance （β = 0.51, p 〈 0.01）,. The hypothesized mediating effects of commitment to coach and willingness to cooperate were not supported. The model explained 26% of the variance in perceived performance. Conclusion： As trust in coach influences commitment to coach, willingness to cooperate, and perceived performance, coaches need to take effort to bolster their athletes＇ trust by being just and benevolent, and enhancing their integrity and competence.

Analysis on the Homogeneities between Traditional Chinese Music and Painting Arts from Qichang Dong＇s ＂Theory of Southern and Northern Schools＂

Qichang Dong was a famous calligraphy and painting artist in ancient China. The theory of southern and northern schools proposed by him was a conclusion to traditional Chinese landscape painting art, and played an incomparable function in the traditional Chinese painting history in comparison with other painting theories. In the painting history, there were the theory of ＂pre-Dong＂ and the theory of ＂post-Dong＂ . In this paper, by starting from Qichang Dong＇ s ＂theory of southern and northern schoots＂ , the homogeneities between traditional Chinese music and painting arts are analyzed from the principle of spirit and the principle of technology, so that the homogeneities between traditional Chinese music and painting arts are explored in aesthetic concept and actual art creation.

The Comparison and Research Between Chinese and South Korean Preschool Music Education

It＇ s quite necessary for children＇ s intelligence development and good aesthetic orientation development to get preschool music education. As the current society is in diversified development, to continuously promote Chinese educational development, we need to actively communicate and study with foreign education; reference the advantages of foreign education ;and make up for the deficiency of Chinese education. The purpose of this thesis is to give some references to Chinese music education by finding the culture differences in music between China and South Korean through the comparative studys in preschool music education between these two countries.
