把握“主动权”,提高做题有效性——从2019年政治高考38题说起

Comments on the characters of feminism in the Awakening

Kate Chopin＇ s ＂The Awakening＂ is a classical female literature in American literature. In this paper, the novel starts from the portrait of the characters. By analyzing the relationship between the protagonist and the sex with the opposite sex, and her sense of self from germination to enhance the process of choking, this paper is to shows us the social reality and the feminism in this novel, besides it also discusses the important role ＂ the Awakening＂ plays in the social and contemporary context.

Online process monitoring for complex systems with dynamic weighted principal component analysis

Conventional multivariate statistical methods for process monitoring may not be suitable for dynamic processes since they usually rely on assumptions such as time invariance or uncorrelation. We are therefore motivated to propose a new monitoring method by compensating the principal component analysis with a weight approach.The proposed monitor consists of two tiers. The first tier uses the principal component analysis method to extract cross-correlation structure among process data, expressed by independent components. The second tier estimates auto-correlation structure among the extracted components as auto-regressive models. It is therefore named a dynamic weighted principal component analysis with hybrid correlation structure. The essential of the proposed method is to incorporate a weight approach into principal component analysis to construct two new subspaces, namely the important component subspace and the residual subspace, and two new statistics are defined to monitor them respectively. Through computing the weight values upon a new observation, the proposed method increases the weights along directions of components that have large estimation errors while reduces the influences of other directions. The rationale behind comes from the observations that the fault information is associated with online estimation errors of auto-regressive models. The proposed monitoring method is exemplified by the Tennessee Eastman process. The monitoring results show that the proposed method outperforms conventional principal component analysis, dynamic principal component analysis and dynamic latent variable.

A Feminist Study of Rochester in Jane Eyre

This paper aims to scrutinize the roles of Rochester through the feminist perspective. Revolving around the course of Rochester＇s psychological development by the way of conformity-disorientation-rebellion, this thesis consists of three parts. Part one focuses on the analysis of Rochester＇s compliance with the patriarchal norms, acting as a defender for the patriarchy to impose great oppression on women. Part two delves into Rochester＇s psychological fluctuation around disorientation, perplexity, and struggle when he is frustrated with the unhappy marriage. Part three is devoted to the elaboration on Rochester＇s resolute revolt against the unconscionable patriarchal norms in the pursuit of his happiness. This paper concludes that Rochester is a character of rebellious consciousness and spirit which forms the driving force in the transformation of his role from a defender of the Victorian patriarchal norms at the beginning of the story to a resolute rebel against the harsh rules at the end. As a member of the patriarchal dominators, Rochester＇s resolute rebellion against patriarchal rules further reveals and strongly criticizes the unreasonable, unequal, and inhuman nature of the patriarchy

An Analysis of Cultural Elements in Paul Yee＇s Ghost Train

Ghost Train is a short story composed for the Chinese railway laborers. This essay will analyze the cultural elements in Paul Yee＇ s Ghost Train. The first part will introduce the writing background of Ghost Train, and the history of Chinese railway laborers in Canada. The second part analyzes a series of cultural elements, such as railway, train, ghost, metaphysics, burning.joss sticks and other elements. The last part is the significance of using these cultural elements. By using these cultural elements, Paul Yee conveys his attitudes to Chinese Canadian laborers. He hopes Canadian government could envisage the contribution of Chinese Canadian laborers. Without Chinese Canadian laborers, the Pacific Railway cannot be completed so quickly. Chinese Canadian laborers are an important part of the history of Canada, so they should not be ignored. Paul Yee also expresses his feminist thoughts in the story. He thinks women can as brave and intelligent as man. Literature writing always reflects political requirements. In 2006, alter Chinese community struggled for a long time, the Canadian government finally held rehabilitating ceremony for ＂poll tax＂, which officially recognized Chinese laborers＇ contribution to the history of Canada. And in 2018, Vancouver officially apologized for its exclusion history of Chinese.
