This paper proposed a novel multi-view interactive behavior recognition method based on local self-similarity descriptors and graph shared multi-task learning. First, we proposed the composite interactive feature representation which encodes both the spatial distribution of local motion of interest points and their contexts. Furthermore, local self-similarity descriptor represented by temporal-pyramid bag of words(BOW) was applied to decreasing the influence of observation angle change on recognition and retaining the temporal information. For the purpose of exploring latent correlation between different interactive behaviors from different views and retaining specific information of each behaviors, graph shared multi-task learning was used to learn the corresponding interactive behavior recognition model. Experiment results showed the effectiveness of the proposed method in comparison with other state-of-the-art methods on the public databases CASIA, i3Dpose dataset and self-built database for interactive behavior recognition. 展开更多

Clinical data have strong features of complexity and multi-disciplinarity. Clinical data are generated both from the documentation of physicians' interactions with the patient and by diagnostic systems. During the care process, a number of different actors and roles (physicians, specialists, nurses, etc.) have the need to access patient data and document clinical activities in different moments and settings. Thus, data sharing and flexible aggregation based on different users' needs have become more and more important for supporting continuity of care at home, at hospitals, at outpatient clinics. In this paper, the authors identify and describe needs and challenges for patient data management at provider level and regional- (or inter-organizational-) level, because nowadays sharing patient data is needed to improve continuity and quality of care. For each level, the authors describe state-of-the-art Information and Communication Technology solutions to collect, manage, aggregate and share patient data. For each level some examples of best practices and solution scenarios being implemented in the Italian Healthcare setting are described as well. 展开更多

For the accurate description of aerodynamic characteristics for aircraft,a wavelet neural network (WNN) aerodynamic modeling method from flight data,based on improved particle swarm optimization (PSO) algorithm with information sharing strategy and velocity disturbance operator,is proposed.In improved PSO algorithm,an information sharing strategy is used to avoid the premature convergence as much as possible;the velocity disturbance operator is adopted to jump out of this position once falling into the premature convergence.Simulations on lateral and longitudinal aerodynamic modeling for ATTAS (advanced technologies testing aircraft system) indicate that the proposed method can achieve the accuracy improvement of an order of magnitude compared with SPSO-WNN,and can converge to a satisfactory precision by only 60 120 iterations in contrast to SPSO-WNN with 6 times precocities in 200 times repetitive experiments using Morlet and Mexican hat wavelet functions.Furthermore,it is proved that the proposed method is feasible and effective for aerodynamic modeling from flight data. 展开更多

Compared with the traditional teaching, it has broken through the traditional classroom limitation, reconstruction teaching structure reflects the advantages of the new teaching ideas. While flipping the classroom includes the implementation of pre-class design, well-made video and other aspects, but the most critical elements of it are still teachers. Teachers should establish a new teaching philosophy, and constantly improve the ability to implement flipped classroom, put emphasis on students' learning skills. On this basis, the article also rose that in flipped classroom teachers should pay attention to the role of teachers, they need information technology support, cause changes in teaching evaluation and promote the integration of high-quality teaching resources sharing and other aspects. The adult of non-English majors generally have poor English skills, but because of different age, memory, social experience, taking what teaching methods, and doing what teaching activities to achieve the teaching content and the expected effects of prescribed syllabus is an important issue in front of us, the author in view of the current situation, uses the existing conditions, and takes the teaching methods to help adult students improve their English communication skills, to meet the needs of the 21st century. 展开更多

Subsequently, the sender leaves one particle sequence and distributes the rest particles to the other participants. And then, the sender makes Bell-state measurements on her particles and publishes the measurement outcomes via the classical channel to realize the quantum state sharing among the others. The present study aimed to investigate the application of the CLAN (Computerized Language Analysis) program in the CHILDES (Child Language Data Exchange System) on shared and unique words between storybooks. Sixty sixth-grade Chinese-speaking children at an elementary school in Taipei City were recruited. Forty-four three-level of storybooks from Kizclub were collected and analyzed. Fifteen minutes reading instruction was followed by the use of CLAN on storybooks for 25 minutes. Children were given written and spoken vocabulary tests after each cluster of storybook reading period. There were three main findings of the study. First, young EFL (English as a Foreign Language) learners' word learning was enhanced through multiple exposures to the shared and unique words from the storybooks. Second, word instruction in isolation prompted written and spoken word learning beyond word instruction in context and repeated reading. Third, the results had pedagogical implications on the value and feasibility of language teaching with storybooks in promoting EFL students' word learning by using CLAN, and the limitations of the study were provided. 展开更多

The widespread use of agrochemicals and its possible negative impacts on humans and the environment remains a highly topical and controversial issue. Of particular concern here are chemicals that can disturb an organism's endocrine system. Referring to the precautionary principle, the objective of the research project start2 is to develop management strategies that help reduce possible risks for httmans and the environment of endocrine active agrochemicals. As an empirical basis we combined qualitative and quantitative methods and initiated two expert dialogues. Our findings underpin the well known fact that the use of agrochemicals is complex and dependent on more than the individual attitudes of farmers. Agricultural plant protection management is the collective product of a complex agricultural system, which encompasses treatment, marketing, industry and agricultural consultation as well as agricultural teaching institutions and relevant scientific disciplines. Successful management strategies for risk reduction in the context of hormonally active agrochemicals thus need to involve all actors within this system. The paper proposes a strategy that promotes participation by enabling learning processes among these actors. 展开更多
