The results showed: the Great Bustard is a kind of premature bird and its birth weight was 86.31?.56g (N=21); environmental temperature for the neonatal nestlings should be controlled at 36C; the feeding principle having many meals but little food at each for the nestlings should be followed; since six weeks after birth, nestlings of both gender began to show significant difference in body weight, the weight of male was 1.8 times of that of the female after fourteenth week, and by weight and body figure sexual identity could be easily discerned when 3 or 4 months old; There is no significant difference in growth and development of all organs between male and female nestlings and organ growth curves were fit into Logistic equation.展开更多

Embryos were derived from artificial fertilization of frogs’ eggs, and the...We investigated the early embryonic and larval development of the concave-eared torrent frogs, Odorrana tormota (Amphibia, Anura, Ranidae). Embryos were derived from artificial fertilization of frogs’ eggs, and the staging of development was based on morphological and physiological characteristics. Two major periods of development were designated: i) early embryonic period, from fertilization to operculum completion stage, lasted for 324 h at water temperature (WT) 18 ?23℃; ii) larval period, from operculum completion stage to tail absorbed stage, took 1207 h at WT 20 ? 24℃. Tadpoles of the concave-eared torrent frogs showed no evidence of abdominal sucker. Absence of this key characteristic supports the view from molecular systematics that concave-eared torrent frog does not belong to the genus Amolops. Two cleavage patterns were observed in embryos at 8-cell and 16-cell stages, with Pattern I2 (latitudinal cleavage at the 8-cell stage, and meridional cleavage at the 16-cell stage with two perpendicular meridional furrows) being the predominant pattern and only 1.5% belonging to Pattern II (meridional cleavage at the 8-cell stage and latitudinal cleavage at the 16-cell stage). The factors affecting cleavage and hatching ratios, developmental speed, and ecological adaptation were discussed.展开更多

First, the educational robot system is abstracted to a multibody system and a general dynamic model of the educational robot is constructed by the Newton-Euler method. Then the dynamic model is simplified by a combination of components with fixed connections according to the structural characteristics of the educational robot. Secondly, in order to obtain a high efficiency simulation algorithm, based on the sparse matrix technique, the augmentation algorithm and the direct projective constraint stabilization algorithm are improved. Finally, a numerical example is given. The results show that the model and the fast algorithm are valid and effective. This study lays a dynamic foundation for realizing the simulation platform of the educational robot.展开更多

[ Method] The wild silkworms collected from three different regions were reared indoors, and the sensitivity of their parents to deltamethrin was detected by topical application. The larvae in each generation were treated with deltamethdn in median lethal dose or so by.topical application. The mortality of larva was analyzed for the establishment of toxicity regression equations and the calculation of the multiple or increased multiple of deltamethdn resistance.[Result] After the Qidong Bornbyx Mandarina (YQD) fed with mulberry leaves were selected for three generations indoors, the multiple of deltamethdn resistance of F, was 14.26, 1.2 times as great as that of Fo ; after the Bombyx Mandarina from mulberry garden of Soochow University (YSD) fed with mulberry leaves were selected for three generations indoors, the multiple of deltamethrin resistance of F4 was 16.48, 1.9 times as great as that of Fo ; after the Wujiang Bombyx Mandarina (YWJ) fed with artificial diets were selected for three generations indoors during six generations, the multiple of deltamethrin resistance of Fe was 18.67, 1.2 times as great as that of Fo. [ Conclusioa] With the selection in same dose, the resistance multiple of YSD increases more rapidly than that of YQD; under double selection of artificial diets and insecticide, the resistance multiple of YWJ increases more slowly than that of YQD.展开更多
A study was conducted to determine the influences of initial planting densities, thinning intensities, exposures and slope sites on physical property (wood density) and mechanical properties such as modulus of elast...A study was conducted to determine the influences of initial planting densities, thinning intensities, exposures and slope sites on physical property (wood density) and mechanical properties such as modulus of elasticity (MOE), bending strength, impact strength, compression strength along grain and hardness) of Pinus sylvestris var. mongolica plantation in Mao'ershan Forest Farm, Northeast China. Results show that the different initial planting densities (1.5 m×1.0 m, 1.5 m×2.0 m and 1.5 m×2.5 m) had significant effects on wood density and MOE, and the highest mean wood density and indexes of mechanical properties occurred in the stand with an initial planting density of 1.5 m×1.0 m. The indexes of mechanical properties such as hardness of end, bending strength, MOE and compression strength along grain of wood increased after mild thinning, but decreased after violent thinning. The exposures (sunny slope and shady slope) had a significant effect on MOE, and the highest mean MOE occurred on sunny slope. The slope sites (upper site and lower site) had a significant effect on wood density and main mechanical properties, except hardness. The highest mean wood density and mechanical properties occurred at lower site.展开更多

[Objective] The aim was to seek the optimal choice of hormones,induced temperature,and initial feed for cultivating loach.[Method] Different hormones were injected to Ioaches for artificial reproduction in water at di...[Objective] The aim was to seek the optimal choice of hormones,induced temperature,and initial feed for cultivating loach.[Method] Different hormones were injected to Ioaches for artificial reproduction in water at different temperatures.During cultivation,varied initial feeds were put in to explore the optimal choice of hormones,temperature and initial feed.[Result] According to the test,fecundity of female loach is directly proportional to gonad maturity,namely,the higher gonad maturity,the more fecundity.For example,for a female loach whose maturity coefficient was 24%,absolute and relative fecundity rates were 62 142 and 990.In contrast,for a female whose maturity coefficient was 9%,the rates were 18 207 and 367,respectively.The induced effect differs upon hormones and the test demonstrated that LRH-A2 is better in improving fertility rate compared with HCG.For example,the fertility rate in the group with HCG was 78.84 and in the group with LRH-A2 was 83.04%.It is notable that the mixture of the two at a certain ratio would enhance induced effect and the fertility rate can be as high as 89.17%.With temperature in a certain range,the higher temperature,the better induced effect.The test indicated that water temperature at (30±0.5) ℃ is an optimal one and the effect horizon is 6-8 h.In group 4,induced rate was 93.33% and the fertility rate was 89.26%.The research indicated that the survival rate was the highest if wheel animalcule,dominated by Brachionus calyciflorus and Brachionus angularis,was taken as an initial feed,followed by artemia nauplii and corpuscule.In addition,loach fry in the group with yolk and wheel animalcule grew about 1.21 times than the group with only yolk,1.04 times than the group with only fairy shrimp,and 1.1 times than the group with fairy shrimp.[Conclusion] The research provides scientific references for scale loach farming.展开更多
Objective: To explore effective ways of conducting STD/AIDS health education among female commercial sex workers in entertainment establishments and to promote implementation of an 100% condom use programme. Methods: ...Objective: To explore effective ways of conducting STD/AIDS health education among female commercial sex workers in entertainment establishments and to promote implementation of an 100% condom use programme. Methods: In-depth interviews were carried out to collect qualitative information about demographic characteristics, STD/AIDS knowledge, attitude and risk behaviors of female sex workers. Female sex workers were selected by sampling and were given baseline survey and assessment after intervention. Based on the results of the interviews, a questionnaire was developed, and intervention measures were determined. These measures included face-to-face interviewing, counseling, and distribution of STD/AIDS information and condoms. Results: 196 and 182 female sex workers of the same population were interviewed separately before and after intervention. STDs/AIDS knowledge had significantly increased after one year's intervention (P <0.01). Knowledge increased in both the intervention group and the non-intervention group but the increase was more significant among sex workers who received the intervention. Risk behaviors remained at baseline levels in both groups. Conclusion: STD/AIDS health education among female sex workers in entertainment establishments was effective and may benefit society, but the strategies need to be adjusted to the female sex workers' lifestyles, particularly their high rates of mobility and high-risk behaviors.展开更多
Recently,some of the genetic mechanisms of heart specification have been elucidated in Drosophila .However,genes involved in early cardiogenesis of human remain to be identified.Since the pathways that regulate ear...Recently,some of the genetic mechanisms of heart specification have been elucidated in Drosophila .However,genes involved in early cardiogenesis of human remain to be identified.Since the pathways that regulate early cardiac fate determination are conserved between Drosophila and vertebrates,flies can be used as a model test system to explore the genetic basis of cardiogenesis in human.In this project,about 3000 reccieve lethal gene lines were produced by P or EMS mutagenesis.With staining of antibodies against heart precussor cells of Drosophila ,about 200 lines were observed to show heart phenotype.In pilot studies of their function with RNAi technique,the RNAi phenotypes of several genes tested were observed,which were very similar to that of their mutants,showing heart tube defects or no heart precursors formation.Taking advantage of the advanced genetic information available in the Drosophila and human systems,we have identified about 50 human transcripts homologous to the Drosophila heart related gene candidates.Northern blot analysis for some of the human candidates showed that several genes were expressed in both adult and early embryonic tissues,which may help in the evaluation of candidate genes for human cardiogenesis.Our further experiments with transgenic flies generated with wild type and mutant forms of these candidate genes to examine for defects in cardiogenesis or cardiac function are under way.The candidate genes producing cardiac specific defects suggestive of similarities to the heart disease syndromes can then be pursued further as likely disease gene candidates.Such an approach is likely to provide a dramatic reduction of possible candidate genes,or to screen and identify mutations that may generate the disease in human.展开更多
Objective To investigate the attitude,willingness,and motivation of third-year undergraduate nursing students from a university of Chinese medicine toward Internet-based nursing services for the aged(IBNSA),providing ...Objective To investigate the attitude,willingness,and motivation of third-year undergraduate nursing students from a university of Chinese medicine toward Internet-based nursing services for the aged(IBNSA),providing a reference for its development and related nursing education.Methods This study was conducted from March to April 2019.Using a self-designed questionnaire,this cross-sectional study comprised 508 third-year undergraduate nursing students from a university of Chinese medicine.The questionnaire was divided into two parts.The first part contained the general information of nursing students.The second part investigated nursing students’attitudes,willingness,and motivation towards IBNSA(a total of seven questions).Results Of the 508 nursing students,314(61.81%)expressed support for the IBNSA,44(8.66%)expressed disapproval.Regarding career choice,279(54.92%)were willing to choose IBNSA,51(10.04%)were unwilling.The top three motivations for choosing IBNSA as a nursing student career were increased income,high autonomy and flexibility,and good job prospects.On the contrary,the top three reasons not to choose this option were safety concerns,lack of time and energy,and unwillingness to undertake elderly care.Experience with community activities or a part-time job,experience with elderly care,willing to choose the nursing profession,willing to engage in nursing care after graduation,and willing to engage in nursing for elderly patients after graduation were significantly associated with the motivation of nursing students to participate in IBNSA(P<0.05).Conclusion The majority of nursing students have a positive attitude towards IBNSA and are willing to choose it as their future career.Nurses’and patients’safety guarantees and salary distribution were critical factors influencing their choice.Nursing schools should pay attention to the concerns of nursing students,constantly improve the management system of IBNSA,strengthen safety education,and provide professional knowledge and skills to improve the quality of personnel training.展开更多
To evaluate the quality and accuracy of websites written to the public on inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) (Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis) and assess their readability level.METHODSGoogle™, Bing™, and Yahoo™...To evaluate the quality and accuracy of websites written to the public on inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) (Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis) and assess their readability level.METHODSGoogle™, Bing™, and Yahoo™ search engines were searched independently by three researchers in December 2014. Only English-language websites were selected on the basis of predetermined inclusion and exclusion criteria. Researchers independently evaluated the quality of each website by using the DISCERN and the HONcode instruments. The readability levels were calculated using two formulas; the Flesch-Kincaid Grade Level Index, and the Coleman-Liau Readability Index. The agreement between the evaluators was calculated using Cohen kappa coefficient.RESULTSEighty-four websites were finally identified. Scores varied from a minimum DISCERN score of 18 to a maximum of 68 [mean ± SD, 42.2 ± 10.7; median = 41.5, interquartile range, interquartile range (IQR) = 15.8] and a minimum score of HONcode of 0.14 and a maximum of 0.95 (mean ± SD, 0.16 ± 0.19; median = 0.45, IQR = 0.29). Most of these websites were reviewed in 2014 and 2015 (n = 51). The creators of these websites were: universities and research centers (n = 25, 30%), foundations and associations (n = 15, 18%), commercial and pharmaceutical companies (n = 25, 30%), charities and volunteer work (n = 9, 10%), and non-university educational bodies (n = 10, 12%). The Flesch-Kincaid Grade Level readability score (mean ± SD) was 11.9 ± 2.4 and the Coleman-Liau Readability Index score was 12.6 ± 1.5. Significant correlation was found between the two readability scores (R<sup>2</sup> = 0.509, P = 0.001). The overall agreement between evaluators measured by Cohen kappa coefficient was in the range of 0.804-0.876; rated as 'Good'.CONCLUSIONThe DISCERN and the HONcode scores of websites varied and the readability levels of most websites were above the public readability level. The study highlights the areas that need further improvement and development in patient education online materials about IBD.展开更多
Objectives Various authors have explored the combination of competencies necessary for ensuring safe and quality care carried out by nurses in Intensive Care Units(ICUs).Nurses’perception of training is an element th...Objectives Various authors have explored the combination of competencies necessary for ensuring safe and quality care carried out by nurses in Intensive Care Units(ICUs).Nurses’perception of training is an element that must be studied in order to adopt appropriate educational measures.This study aimed to evaluate nurses’perception of the importance of intensive care training in Spain.Methods A descriptive,cross-sectional,multicentre study was conducted on a national level in Spain.Totally 85 ICUs took part in the study.The questionnaire used was developed using the Delphi method and had 66 items to investigate nurses’perception on competency requirements and training needs.The evaluation was conducted by a 10-point Likert scale.Results The sample was 568 Spanish nurses.Significant differences were found on an academic level,in terms of gender and hospital type,and in the professional experience of the nurse when it comes to evaluating the different training items;the differences in overall questionnaire scores among these groups were statistically significant(P<0.05).The nurses analyzed believe that previous training and professional experience in other care services are necessary before starting work in an ICU.Conclusion Implementation of training programs tailored to the needs of critical nurses had benefits for nurses and the health system.Nurses benefited from training focused on the skills and knowledge of each moment of their working life.Nurses have a different evaluation of their training needs throughout their professional cycle.Therefore,their training must be adapted to the professional stage of each nurse.展开更多

The results showed that: after cutting and pinching, seedlings with multi-lateral branches could be formed. The cutting treat- ment in the container had a small number of seedlings with over 2 lateral buds, and the lateral buds were weak. Some of the weak lateral buds disappeared with the growth going on, showing poor growth performance. The pinching treatment in the sand bed nursery found a large number of seedlings with more than 2 lateral buds, and the lateral buds could grow into lateral branches, forming the T. sinensis seedlings with multi-lateral branches. Proceed to cutting processing, the secondary and third-level lateral branches came into being, which could make the seedlings of T. sinensis have multi-head tree shape in 2-3 years.展开更多

To supplement information on its life history and verify whether carpospores can be used for seedling culture, early development of G. turuturu was investigated under culture conditions (27~C, 10-13 ~mol/(mZ.s) in irradiance, photoperiod 10:14 h L:D). Three physiological stages were recognized by continuous microscopic observation: division stage, discoid crust stage, and juvenile seedling stage. At the beginning of the division stage, the carpospores developed germ tubes into which the carpospore protoplasm was evacuated, and then the carpospore protoplasm in the germ tubes began to divide continuously until discoid crusts formed. Finally, upright thalli appeared on the discoid crusts and developed into juvenile seedlings. It took about 60 days for carpospores to develop into juvenile seedlings. The growth parameters, including germination rate for carpospores and discoid crust diameter, were recorded. These results contribute more information on the life cycle, and at the same time are of great significance in the scaling-up of artificial seedling cultures of G. turuturu.展开更多

The aim of this paper is to,through an explorative literature overview with an inductive approach, analyze frequent, and significant themes in published peer reviewed articles,with a focus on physical literacy. The database EBSCO has been used with the identifiers “physical literacy” and “physical literacy and evidence”.Furthermore ICSSPE Bulletin's special issue on physical literacy has been included in the overview. The findings have resulted in three key themes: assumptions of the concept physical literacy and its educative role, sports development and physical literacy, and assessment and physical literacy. Future studies are needed to examine if the advocated pedagogical strategies based on the concept physical literacy have led to a reorganized and revitalized school subject. There is also an existing critique towards making physical literacy an idealistic neutral concept or synonym with fundamental movement skills or sports talent identification. The role of higher education emerges as crucial for the next step of the development of the scientific framework as this involves how physical literacy will be socially configured, nurtured, and embodied in practice.Copyright ó 2015, Shanghai University of Sport. Under water temperature of 18-26 ℃, embryonic development of Poyang Lake catfish in impounded water was observed and recorded in detail. Embryonic development of Poyang Lake catfish encountered seven stages, and it last- ed for 47.08 h from the fertilized egg stage to the stripping stage. The hatching time of Silurus meridionalis Chen was shortest, followed by that of Poyang Lake catfish, and the hatching time of Pelteobagrus vachelli was longest.展开更多

The larvae in each generation were treated with deltamethdn in median lethal dose or so by.topical application. The mortality of larva was analyzed for the establishment of toxicity regression equations and the calculation of the multiple or increased multiple of deltamethdn resistance.[Result] After the Qidong Bornbyx Mandarina (YQD) fed with mulberry leaves were selected for three generations indoors, the multiple of deltamethdn resistance of F, was 14.26, 1.2 times as great as that of Fo ; after the Bombyx Mandarina from mulberry garden of Soochow University (YSD) fed with mulberry leaves were selected for three generations indoors, the multiple of deltamethrin resistance of F4 was 16.48, 1.9 times as great as that of Fo ; after the Wujiang Bombyx Mandarina (YWJ) fed with artificial diets were selected for three generations indoors during six generations, the multiple of deltamethrin resistance of Fe was 18.67, 1.2 times as great as that of Fo. [ Conclusioa] With the selection in same dose, the resistance multiple of YSD increases more rapidly than that of YQD; under double selection of artificial diets and insecticide, the resistance multiple of YWJ increases more slowly than that of YQD.

文摘A study was conducted to determine the influences of initial planting densities, thinning intensities, exposures and slope sites on physical property (wood density) and mechanical properties such as modulus of elasticity (MOE), bending strength, impact strength, compression strength along grain and hardness) of Pinus sylvestris var. mongolica plantation in Mao'ershan Forest Farm, Northeast China. Results show that the different initial planting densities (1.5 m×1.0 m, 1.5 m×2.0 m and 1.5 m×2.5 m) had significant effects on wood density and MOE, and the highest mean wood density and indexes of mechanical properties occurred in the stand with an initial planting density of 1.5 m×1.0 m. The indexes of mechanical properties such as hardness of end, bending strength, MOE and compression strength along grain of wood increased after mild thinning, but decreased after violent thinning. The exposures (sunny slope and shady slope) had a significant effect on MOE, and the highest mean MOE occurred on sunny slope. The slope sites (upper site and lower site) had a significant effect on wood density and main mechanical properties, except hardness. The highest mean wood density and mechanical properties occurred at lower site.

文摘[Objective] The aim was to seek the optimal choice of hormones,induced temperature,and initial feed for cultivating loach.[Method] Different hormones were injected to Ioaches for artificial reproduction in water at different temperatures.During cultivation,varied initial feeds were put in to explore the optimal choice of hormones,temperature and initial feed.[Result] According to the test,fecundity of female loach is directly proportional to gonad maturity,namely,the higher gonad maturity,the more fecundity.For example,for a female loach whose maturity coefficient was 24%,absolute and relative fecundity rates were 62 142 and 990.In contrast,for a female whose maturity coefficient was 9%,the rates were 18 207 and 367,respectively.The induced effect differs upon hormones and the test demonstrated that LRH-A2 is better in improving fertility rate compared with HCG.For example,the fertility rate in the group with HCG was 78.84 and in the group with LRH-A2 was 83.04%.It is notable that the mixture of the two at a certain ratio would enhance induced effect and the fertility rate can be as high as 89.17%.With temperature in a certain range,the higher temperature,the better induced effect.The test indicated that water temperature at (30±0.5) ℃ is an optimal one and the effect horizon is 6-8 h.In group 4,induced rate was 93.33% and the fertility rate was 89.26%.The research indicated that the survival rate was the highest if wheel animalcule,dominated by Brachionus calyciflorus and Brachionus angularis,was taken as an initial feed,followed by artemia nauplii and corpuscule.In addition,loach fry in the group with yolk and wheel animalcule grew about 1.21 times than the group with only yolk,1.04 times than the group with only fairy shrimp,and 1.1 times than the group with fairy shrimp.[Conclusion] The research provides scientific references for scale loach farming.

文摘Objective: To explore effective ways of conducting STD/AIDS health education among female commercial sex workers in entertainment establishments and to promote implementation of an 100% condom use programme. Methods: In-depth interviews were carried out to collect qualitative information about demographic characteristics, STD/AIDS knowledge, attitude and risk behaviors of female sex workers. Female sex workers were selected by sampling and were given baseline survey and assessment after intervention. Based on the results of the interviews, a questionnaire was developed, and intervention measures were determined. These measures included face-to-face interviewing, counseling, and distribution of STD/AIDS information and condoms. Results: 196 and 182 female sex workers of the same population were interviewed separately before and after intervention. STDs/AIDS knowledge had significantly increased after one year's intervention (P <0.01). Knowledge increased in both the intervention group and the non-intervention group but the increase was more significant among sex workers who received the intervention. Risk behaviors remained at baseline levels in both groups. Conclusion: STD/AIDS health education among female sex workers in entertainment establishments was effective and may benefit society, but the strategies need to be adjusted to the female sex workers' lifestyles, particularly their high rates of mobility and high-risk behaviors.
文摘Recently,some of the genetic mechanisms of heart specification have been elucidated in Drosophila .However,genes involved in early cardiogenesis of human remain to be identified.Since the pathways that regulate early cardiac fate determination are conserved between Drosophila and vertebrates,flies can be used as a model test system to explore the genetic basis of cardiogenesis in human.In this project,about 3000 reccieve lethal gene lines were produced by P or EMS mutagenesis.With staining of antibodies against heart precussor cells of Drosophila ,about 200 lines were observed to show heart phenotype.In pilot studies of their function with RNAi technique,the RNAi phenotypes of several genes tested were observed,which were very similar to that of their mutants,showing heart tube defects or no heart precursors formation.Taking advantage of the advanced genetic information available in the Drosophila and human systems,we have identified about 50 human transcripts homologous to the Drosophila heart related gene candidates.Northern blot analysis for some of the human candidates showed that several genes were expressed in both adult and early embryonic tissues,which may help in the evaluation of candidate genes for human cardiogenesis.Our further experiments with transgenic flies generated with wild type and mutant forms of these candidate genes to examine for defects in cardiogenesis or cardiac function are under way.The candidate genes producing cardiac specific defects suggestive of similarities to the heart disease syndromes can then be pursued further as likely disease gene candidates.Such an approach is likely to provide a dramatic reduction of possible candidate genes,or to screen and identify mutations that may generate the disease in human.

文摘Objective To investigate the attitude,willingness,and motivation of third-year undergraduate nursing students from a university of Chinese medicine toward Internet-based nursing services for the aged(IBNSA),providing a reference for its development and related nursing education.Methods This study was conducted from March to April 2019.Using a self-designed questionnaire,this cross-sectional study comprised 508 third-year undergraduate nursing students from a university of Chinese medicine.The questionnaire was divided into two parts.The first part contained the general information of nursing students.The second part investigated nursing students’attitudes,willingness,and motivation towards IBNSA(a total of seven questions).Results Of the 508 nursing students,314(61.81%)expressed support for the IBNSA,44(8.66%)expressed disapproval.Regarding career choice,279(54.92%)were willing to choose IBNSA,51(10.04%)were unwilling.The top three motivations for choosing IBNSA as a nursing student career were increased income,high autonomy and flexibility,and good job prospects.On the contrary,the top three reasons not to choose this option were safety concerns,lack of time and energy,and unwillingness to undertake elderly care.Experience with community activities or a part-time job,experience with elderly care,willing to choose the nursing profession,willing to engage in nursing care after graduation,and willing to engage in nursing for elderly patients after graduation were significantly associated with the motivation of nursing students to participate in IBNSA(P<0.05).Conclusion The majority of nursing students have a positive attitude towards IBNSA and are willing to choose it as their future career.Nurses’and patients’safety guarantees and salary distribution were critical factors influencing their choice.Nursing schools should pay attention to the concerns of nursing students,constantly improve the management system of IBNSA,strengthen safety education,and provide professional knowledge and skills to improve the quality of personnel training.

文摘To evaluate the quality and accuracy of websites written to the public on inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) (Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis) and assess their readability level.METHODSGoogle™, Bing™, and Yahoo™ search engines were searched independently by three researchers in December 2014. Only English-language websites were selected on the basis of predetermined inclusion and exclusion criteria. Researchers independently evaluated the quality of each website by using the DISCERN and the HONcode instruments. The readability levels were calculated using two formulas; the Flesch-Kincaid Grade Level Index, and the Coleman-Liau Readability Index. The agreement between the evaluators was calculated using Cohen kappa coefficient.RESULTSEighty-four websites were finally identified. Scores varied from a minimum DISCERN score of 18 to a maximum of 68 [mean ± SD, 42.2 ± 10.7; median = 41.5, interquartile range, interquartile range (IQR) = 15.8] and a minimum score of HONcode of 0.14 and a maximum of 0.95 (mean ± SD, 0.16 ± 0.19; median = 0.45, IQR = 0.29). Most of these websites were reviewed in 2014 and 2015 (n = 51). The creators of these websites were: universities and research centers (n = 25, 30%), foundations and associations (n = 15, 18%), commercial and pharmaceutical companies (n = 25, 30%), charities and volunteer work (n = 9, 10%), and non-university educational bodies (n = 10, 12%). The Flesch-Kincaid Grade Level readability score (mean ± SD) was 11.9 ± 2.4 and the Coleman-Liau Readability Index score was 12.6 ± 1.5. Significant correlation was found between the two readability scores (R<sup>2</sup> = 0.509, P = 0.001). The overall agreement between evaluators measured by Cohen kappa coefficient was in the range of 0.804-0.876; rated as 'Good'.CONCLUSIONThe DISCERN and the HONcode scores of websites varied and the readability levels of most websites were above the public readability level. The study highlights the areas that need further improvement and development in patient education online materials about IBD.
文摘Objectives Various authors have explored the combination of competencies necessary for ensuring safe and quality care carried out by nurses in Intensive Care Units(ICUs).Nurses’perception of training is an element that must be studied in order to adopt appropriate educational measures.This study aimed to evaluate nurses’perception of the importance of intensive care training in Spain.Methods A descriptive,cross-sectional,multicentre study was conducted on a national level in Spain.Totally 85 ICUs took part in the study.The questionnaire used was developed using the Delphi method and had 66 items to investigate nurses’perception on competency requirements and training needs.The evaluation was conducted by a 10-point Likert scale.Results The sample was 568 Spanish nurses.Significant differences were found on an academic level,in terms of gender and hospital type,and in the professional experience of the nurse when it comes to evaluating the different training items;the differences in overall questionnaire scores among these groups were statistically significant(P<0.05).The nurses analyzed believe that previous training and professional experience in other care services are necessary before starting work in an ICU.Conclusion Implementation of training programs tailored to the needs of critical nurses had benefits for nurses and the health system.Nurses benefited from training focused on the skills and knowledge of each moment of their working life.Nurses have a different evaluation of their training needs throughout their professional cycle.Therefore,their training must be adapted to the professional stage of each nurse.
文摘Seedlings of Toona sinensis were planted in seeding and breeding ways to increase the yield of T. sinensis by raising the number of lateral branches of T. sinensis seedlings by means of cutting and pinching through sowing and breed- ing in containers and sand bed nursery. The results showed that: after cutting and pinching, seedlings with multi-lateral branches could be formed. The cutting treat- ment in the container had a small number of seedlings with over 2 lateral buds, and the lateral buds were weak. Some of the weak lateral buds disappeared with the growth going on, showing poor growth performance. The pinching treatment in the sand bed nursery found a large number of seedlings with more than 2 lateral buds, and the lateral buds could grow into lateral branches, forming the T. sinensis seedlings with multi-lateral branches. Proceed to cutting processing, the secondary and third-level lateral branches came into being, which could make the seedlings of T. sinensis have multi-head tree shape in 2-3 years.
文摘Technological breakthroughs occur at an ever-increasing rate thereby revolutionizing human health and wellness care.Technological advancements have drastically changed the structure and organization of the healthcare industry.McKinsey Global Institute estimates that 800 million workers worldwide could be replaced by robots by the year 2030.There is already a robotic revolution happening in healthcare wherein robots have made tasks and procedures more efficient and safer.Locsin and Ito has addressed the threat to nursing practice with human nurses being replaced by humanoid robots.Routine nursing care dictated solely by prescribed procedures and accomplishment of nursing tasks would be best performed by machines.With the future practice of nursing in a technologically advanced future transcending the implementation of nursing actions to achieve predictable outcomes,how can human nurses remain relevant as practitioners of nursing?Nurses should be involved in deciding which aspects of their practice can be delegated to technology.Nurses should oversee the introduction of automated technology and artificial intelligence ensuring their practice to be more about the universal aspects of human care continuing under a novel system.Nursing education and nursing research will change to encompass a differentiated demand for professional nursing practice with,and not for,robots in healthcare.

文摘Grateloupia turuturu is a commercial red alga with potential value in nutraceuticals and pharmaceuticals. To supplement information on its life history and verify whether carpospores can be used for seedling culture, early development of G. turuturu was investigated under culture conditions (27~C, 10-13 ~mol/(mZ.s) in irradiance, photoperiod 10:14 h L:D). Three physiological stages were recognized by continuous microscopic observation: division stage, discoid crust stage, and juvenile seedling stage. At the beginning of the division stage, the carpospores developed germ tubes into which the carpospore protoplasm was evacuated, and then the carpospore protoplasm in the germ tubes began to divide continuously until discoid crusts formed. Finally, upright thalli appeared on the discoid crusts and developed into juvenile seedlings. It took about 60 days for carpospores to develop into juvenile seedlings. The growth parameters, including germination rate for carpospores and discoid crust diameter, were recorded. These results contribute more information on the life cycle, and at the same time are of great significance in the scaling-up of artificial seedling cultures of G. turuturu.
文摘Publications of articles with physical literacy as a topic have increased dramatically since the beginning of 2000 s. The aim of this paper is to,through an explorative literature overview with an inductive approach, analyze frequent, and significant themes in published peer reviewed articles,with a focus on physical literacy. The database EBSCO has been used with the identifiers “physical literacy” and “physical literacy and evidence”.Furthermore ICSSPE Bulletin's special issue on physical literacy has been included in the overview. The findings have resulted in three key themes: assumptions of the concept physical literacy and its educative role, sports development and physical literacy, and assessment and physical literacy. Future studies are needed to examine if the advocated pedagogical strategies based on the concept physical literacy have led to a reorganized and revitalized school subject. There is also an existing critique towards making physical literacy an idealistic neutral concept or synonym with fundamental movement skills or sports talent identification. The role of higher education emerges as crucial for the next step of the development of the scientific framework as this involves how physical literacy will be socially configured, nurtured, and embodied in practice.Copyright ó 2015, Shanghai University of Sport. 文摘Poyang Lake catfish (Silurus asotus Linnaeus) is native to Poyang Lake Basin. Artificial propagation of Poyang Lake catfish was carried out by using artificial insemination. Under water temperature of 18-26 ℃, embryonic development of Poyang Lake catfish in impounded water was observed and recorded in detail. Embryonic development of Poyang Lake catfish encountered seven stages, and it last- ed for 47.08 h from the fertilized egg stage to the stripping stage. The hatching time of Silurus meridionalis Chen was shortest, followed by that of Poyang Lake catfish, and the hatching time of Pelteobagrus vachelli was longest.
